what happened in the last 10 pages

who has a summary for 420?

High volume drop to a low of around mid 50s.
Recent runup and relative stability at high 70s.

oh, and gox is down. Again.

But they are on Reddit. Trying to sooth the minions. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1c7ahh/we_are_mt_gox_ama/

more or less retired.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

I do have to wonder if when they get a humungous sell order they don't push the Aaaak! button until enough bids fill in to absorb it

I'm now sure they are, it happened 4 times in last 36 hours.

I guess they are under pressure by some heavy investors.

They're up but looks their API doesn't work at all.

MtGox has effectively disabled these spam bots.

There's a 6 order per minute limit, if that is reached there's a 120 second timeout.

Once they did this things started moving.

I read it in IRC as it went live.

My last transfer earlier today took ~2 hours to show up.
Looks like it's not only their trading engine, their deposit/withdrawing engine lags too Sad

An hour or two ago. Just before most of the 0.01 buys and sells started to disappear.

where are the wall pic's ?

Right but they take a % cut. A hundred .01 orders makes them the same as a single 1.0 order, except it taxes their servers more.

Market Cooldown: Orders will not be accepted for the moment as we need to upgrade our database to accommodate the trading volume.  However, you may still cancel your pending and open orders.  Trading will resume at 11.00 am JST.

What the hell, cooling down AGAIN?  Another nearly TWELVE hours?  This is a joke.  A complete joke
