Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Someone cashed out for $1.7M? Better have a business account, else $10k/month going to take a while.

Falling like a stone! Glad to have  chosen wait and see apporach..I LOVE my FIAT

How Ripple Rips you: "The founders of Ripple Labs created 100 billion XRP at Ripple's inception. No more can be created according to the rules of the Ripple protocol. Of the 100 billion created, 20 billion XRP were retained by the creators, seeders, venture capital companies and other founders. The remaining 80 billion were given to Ripple Labs. Ripple Labs intends to distribute and sell 55 of that 80 billion XRP to users and strategic partners. Ripple Labs also had a giveaway of under 200 million XRP (0.002% of all XRP) via World Community Grid that was later discontinued.[29] Ripple Labs will retain the remaining 25 billion"

I think that MTGOX is trying to prevent a bigger slump because I redeemed some private addresses about 4 hrs ago and only half of them have been credited so far. T think they are delaying me from dumping

Forget about buy and hold until MTGox starts charging fees again. Big hands are buying tons of lots and sell inmediatly after a few pips up.

Selling today and re-buying 14th is also an option.

$1 $1 $1 $1 PLEASE!!!! I want the price down. I want to buy so many. This is awesome. The bitcoin protocol and network are rock solid. After this crash, people start coming back buying dirt cheap bitcoins, price breaks $1000 on the next rise...
