How bout that incident where someone managed to pilfer a boat load of
the 50mh prime hashlets or something  at a fraction of the cost due to some glitch in system.
Homero was pissed that someone out scammed him.
the hashtalk archive when that went down would be a priceless read indeed!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

We had some good times.

My favorite threads were when gawtards would tell complainers to do something themself instead of complaining to Homero. What have you done for paycoin today? Homero gave us this gift, now it's our turn.

Here is a post that mentions the issue:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720844.msg9241710#msg9241710

Another good one was when someone boosted Nicehash payouts and Homero's fake NiceHashlet imitation nearly bankrupted him. That proved a couple of things - he's not mining at Nicehash and has no hardware to do so (duh), and world's most profitable zenpool doesn't exist either. Well, when I say "proved" it didn't really change much because hashtalkers refused to believe it anyway.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=777194

And of course hashtalk was going down every time there was a controversy of some sort... one could imagine Homero getting tired of swinging the banhammer so he would shut the site down for a while Smiley

Edit: lawsuit update.

thanx for lincs suchmoon. you're good!

"There was small group of unscrupulous users blah blah blah... abuse the system...blah blah blah"
oh jeezus..talk about the pot calling kettle black....lol

and we know homero didnt pen THAT tldr because there's
no freekin way he knows how to spell "unscrupulous" much less even know wtf it means
and besides that, there's just way too many other big words and grammatically correct sentences.

Unfortunately i had over $2000 worth of hashlets and primes, this was one of my first burns in the bitcoin alt coin industry and i learnt alot from it, was a real shame i really thought paycoin was going to go large and invested into that as well, i feel disappointed and ashamed that i let myself get sucked in to this scam.

Conference results:

https://www.docdroid.net/qpEM8LA/govuscourtsctd112576560.pdf.html

tl;dr:

If Frasers motion for dismissal is denied then "Discovery will begin immediately following the Court’s ruling on Defendant Fraser’s motion to dismiss. Fact discovery (which includes class discovery) shall end 9 months after it commences." Plus a few more months for all sorts of other bureaucracy before anything actually happens in the court room. This better be good.

How long does the court have to respond to his motion to dismiss?

The plaintiff has to file a response first (i.e. tell the judge why the case against Fraser should NOT be dismissed), the deadline for which is Nov 4. Not sure what's the timeline after that.

Because, like I said before, he is simply not allowed to and would risk the lawsuit in general.

No, @rdewilde, no one is trying to make themselves "look better" to you or anyone else here, duh!

The question is, why do you insist on making yourself look so stupid?

You are jumping strange conclusions.

Bitpop's assumption was wrong, and there's no way he could ever know, so to me that's a fair reason to jump in - and has nothing to do with what you say. I don't let people talk shit about me, do you?

I post close to factual information that the lawsuit is not dropped - and I get attacked in return - why do you need to argue any of this? Pure nonsense.

Feel free to response, but personally I like to go back ONtopic instead of personal attacking!
