'Hacktivist' group Anonymous says it will avenge Charlie Hebdo attacks by shutting down jihadist websites

Hacker group Anonymous have released a video condemning the Paris attacks, saying "freedom of expression has suffered an inhuman assault"

Hacker group Anonymous have released a video and a statement via Twitter condemning the attacks on Charlie Hebdo, in which 12 people, including eight journalists, were murdered.
The video description says that it is "a message for al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists", and was uploaded to the group's Belgian account.
In the clip, a figure wearing the group's symbolic Guy Fawkes mask is seated in front of a desk with the hashtag #OpCharlieHebdo - which stands for Operation Charlie Hebdo - featured on screen.
The figure, whose voice is obscured says: "We are declaring war against you, the terrorists."
They add that the group will track down and close all accounts on social networks related to terrorists in order to avenge those who have been killed.

Here is Ali's take on these events.

http://aina.org/news/20150108000006.htm

How to Answer the Paris Terror Attack
By Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Wall Street Journal

If there is a lesson to be drawn from such a grisly episode, it is that what we believe about Islam truly doesn't matter. This type of violence, jihad, is what they, the Islamists, believe.

There are numerous calls to violent jihad in the Quran. But the Quran is hardly alone. In too much of Islam, jihad is a thoroughly modern concept. The 20th-century jihad "bible," and an animating work for many Islamist groups today, is "The Quranic Concept of War," a book written in the mid-1970s by Pakistani Gen. S.K. Malik. He argues that because God, Allah, himself authored every word of the Quran, the rules of war contained in the Quran are of a higher caliber than the rules developed by mere mortals.

In Malik's analysis of Quranic strategy, the human soul--and not any physical battlefield--is the center of conflict. The key to victory, taught by Allah through the military campaigns of the Prophet Muhammad, is to strike at the soul of your enemy. And the best way to strike at your enemy's soul is through terror. Terror, Malik writes, is "the point where the means and the end meet." Terror, he adds, "is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose."

Attempt at moral equivalency fails.  The entire Islam religion hates gays. ...

And the Bible says kill disobedient children with a stone, don't be gay, never eat shellfish or you are an abomination. Yes, religions are all nuts. Your not supposed to be gay in Islam either, but some people are gay. They always have been and always will be. Religion is about people trying to control other people.

The Bible things listed above are Old Testament things, written for the nation of Israel, only. Why for them? Because they asked God for it at the time that God gave them the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai.

Stop obeying the Old Testament laws as though they were meant for you, unless, of course, you adhere to them. Rather, obey the New Testament laws of love. Where the strict laws exist in the N.T., they exist as common sense guides. I mean, if you get a butcher's knife out of the drawer, and stab yourself in the arm with it, you will bleed. N.T. laws are laws of nature, that affect you, the nature around them.

Your personal religion is the way you live your life, the things you "religiously" do day in and day out. Everyone's religion is nuts in some ways for certain other people. It is true that, most of the time, in any relations between people, they are always trying to control others at least a little. It is our automatic religious nature.

That's where you fail mr BADecker. You cannot cherrypick the bible, or any other "holybook" for that matter. If you define yourself as Christian, then the entire bible is of importance to you, not just the new testament.

I agree, the old testament is 100% rubbish, but it being 100% rubbish proves that the entire bible is 100% rubbish. For such a "good" god to give such laws to the Israelites, is despicable. I read the new testament for it's emphasis on love, which I like. But I know the bible itself is false by nature.

And your failure is in thinking that it might be any other way than you said, for true Christians. No "cherrypicking" allowed.

The O.T. is NOT rubbish. That isn't what I said. It is what you said. The O.T. has many examples for righteous living that we ALL can use.

The major points of the O.T. are:
1. The promise of the Messiah, the Savior, Who came in the person of Jesus Christ of the N.T.;
2. Examples of good that happens to those who believe God, and evil that happens to those who don't believe Him (Note: A person acts according to what he believes.);
3. Prophesies of what is coming on the earth, that we can all take warning from.

You misunderstand. The Universe was made to be perfect. Mankind threw away the perfection in the Garden when they ate the fruit. Jesus maintained the perfection of the universe since He is God as well as man. The maintaining of that perfection includes keeping the perfection while at the same time perfectly giving people the imperfection that they so eagerly desire - like the imperfection that you show that you desire when you attempt to fight God rather than simply going along with Him and His plan of perfection. God's job is not an easy job. But God can do it, because He is God Almighty.

It isn't the Bible that is false by nature. It is you who are false by nature. If you weren't, you just might be able to see the greatness of God, shining through the wonders in nature and the Bible.

Smiley

It seems you have not read the bible. Can you justify these laws and acts, commanded onto the Israelites & Moses by God?

1) God will kill any priest that leaves the tabernacle. Leviticus 10:7
2) If priests misbehave at the tabernacle by by drinking "wine or strong drink," then God will kill them and send his wrath on "all the people." "It shall be a statute for ever." Leviticus 10:9
3) God warns Aaron that he might have to burn him to death like he did his sons. Leviticus (10:1-2) 16:1-2
4) If you refuse to kill someone who gives his seed to Molech, God set his face against you and your family. Leviticus 20:4-5
5) Both parties in adultery shall be executed. Leviticus 20:10
6) If a man has sex with his father's wife, kill them both.Leviticus  20:11
7) If a man "lies" with his daughter-in-law, then both must be killed. Leviticus 20:12
Cool Anyone who blasphemes or curses shall be stoned to death by the entire community. Leviticus 24:16

Those 8 are just a few examples of the extreme and utter cruelty found in the Old Testament portion of the Bible. There is no justifying those acts commanded by "God", and so, the only reasonable answers as to why a "good god" would give such laws to his people is

1) He is not a good god, but a evil one.
2) He does not exist and it is all made up.

2) He does not exist and it is all made up.

God made the earth and the universe. You have the freedom to use the Internet. You have food and water, and clothing and shelter. God is a good God for giving this all to you, or at least making it available.

All the strict laws that God gave through Moses in the First 5 books of the Bible, are laws of perfection. Perfection is life. Imperfection is an example of something that is not working correctly. Imperfection means death.

The Bible sites you listed above are not simply things listed according to your simple words preceding the sites. In context, they make some of the best laws for everyone to live by. To see this, all you need do is take a look at America, the poverty, the pain, the pollution, etc., all things that are happening because the people will not obey the laws. God didn't want this trouble for His favored people, ancient Israel. This is why He gave them the best laws.

The direct reason why God gave these good laws to the people was because they asked for them. Exodus 20:18,19
Quote
When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”

The things and laws that God gave Moses are a pattern of the things in Heaven, before the throne of God - Hebrews 8:5,6:
Quote
They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.
What other nation is there that has been given things that are a pattern of things in Heaven?

So, why are you fighting against the good things of God in your heart? However, you have the freedom to do so if you so desire. But, if you continue to fight against the good things of God, you will only wind up destroying yourself. Don't be like the ancient people of Israel were so often - Hebrews 10:39:
Quote
But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

crossposting

I am not prepared on the subject but I just found this http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm

Quote
Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"

Quote

Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them."

Quote

Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

It does not really look thatpeaceful to me, thoughts?.

You have said absolutely nothing worthwhile concerning the horrid cruelty that "God" displays in the Bible. You've only given generic comments. I think it's safe to say that there is no refuting the evilness shown by your god in the Old Testament portion of the Bible.

Perfection is not life, people are born with diseases, deformities, etc every single day not to mention our very chromosomes themselves become defective through time. So if your god created life, then he has created imperfect life, which means he is not a perfect god, but a faulty one. Do you see how your own comments go against you BADecker?

If you took a simple history class BADecker, then you'd know that Christianity has been one of the cruelest, evil religions on earth. Ever heard of the crusades? Or the constant corruption within the church for hundreds of years? Only recently has Christianity, with the help of this pope and the few previous ones(Kudos to them), changed it's course and become something slightly decent.

I am an agnostic, I believe there is 50% chance that a "God(s)" can exist, and a 50% chance that it doesn't exist. However, the chance of a "God" existing, being the one from any religion we know currently is equal to that of any god existing from any other religion we know currently, so that lowers the chance of the Christian god existing for example and makes it equal to that of the Egyptian God and Godesses because they each take up a portion of that 50% share chance that god might exist. So, to put it simply, all gods and goddesses from any religion we know today has an equal chance of existing as the next gods and goddesses from the other religions, which makes the chance of any of them existing, extremely low.

Do you get that? It means logically, the chance of "God" not existing is far, far higher than the chance of any God/Goddess from any known religion existing.

And with this post I will no longer respond to you. It's clear that you are delusional as you have yet to give me logical answers on the own hatred and evil shown in your Bible, along with the contradictory comments you yourself gave on your "God"'s perfection.

God created the earth and people in goodness and perfection.
People willfully changed all that and brought evil into their lives.
Rather than destroy the people, God gave, and is giving, them a chance to be saved.
In the process of giving them that chance, God took control of evil just like He controls everything else.

God isn't somebody to trifle with. He holds you alive so that you can have the chance to be saved. You don't like the idea of being saved? Great! Keep it up. Keep on asking for the evil. God is giving, and He will ultimately give you the evil you are asking for, even though He would rather not have to. But He won't deny your wishes forever.

I have often wondered why God blames us for the thing that Adam and Eve did when they brought imperfection into the world. After all, it isn't fair, is it? that we all should suffer because of something that they did? But after listening to you, I am seeing that you, at least, are one of those who would have brought imperfection into the world just like they did. But don't feel too badly about it. Probably everyone would have become curious after awhile, and succumbed to the temptations of Satan, just like you are doing.

Yep! The old devil works overtime on Christians. They fail like everyone else. However, if you looked at the rest of history, you would see that misguided Christians are the least of the problem. Look in detail at the things that Genghis Khan and his hordes did throughout Asia and Europe. And his sons didn't stop, but carried it on worse than he did. And that is simply ONE non-Christian group.

Or think about the 60 to 100 millions that Stalin executed, mostly for nothing. And Hitler's 20 millions. The untold numbers that the South East Asian dictators murdered throughout the 1900s.

You are badly mistaken.

Think things like this all you want. Then, pick up your great strength, wisdom, and understanding, and grow yourself a couple of extra arms, one on each side of your torso, about midway between your shoulders and your belly button. Push real hard, now. They are coming. I know you are getting red in the face. But just a little longer.

The fact of the complexity of nature and the universe around us, in the midst of entropy which exists throughout, shows us that there is a Supremely Great God out there, Whatever or Whoever He might happen to be. This stuff didn't simply jump into existence because it felt like it wanted to.

Nobody understands God except a little. Study the Bible, the history of how it came into existence, the traditions that the people of Israel are firmly hanging onto to this day, and maybe you will start to see the wonderful Goodness that God is towards you by even allowing you to be able to read and post in this forum.

Quote

Do you get that? It means logically, the chance of "God" not existing is far, far higher than the chance of any God/Goddess from any known religion existing.

And with this post I will no longer respond to you. It's clear that you are delusional as you have yet to give me logical answers on the own hatred and evil shown in your Bible, along with the contradictory comments you yourself gave on your "God"'s perfection.

Good. Stop responding. At least until you get enough knowledge and understanding to know a little bit about that of which you are speaking.

Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, who has a young son and is married to a Christian from South Sudan, violated Islamic sharia law, the court said. She insists she was raised Christian, not Muslim.

The court also ordered Ibrahim to be flogged for having sexual relations with her husband, since her marriage is not recognized by officials.

Ibrahim refused a court order Sunday giving her several days to renounce her Christian faith, which resulted in the sentencing Thursday….

Ibrahim, currently jailed with her son, will be allowed to give birth and raise her second child until the age of 2 years but then faces execution. Sudanese authorities refuse to allow Ibrahim’s son to reside with her husband because the husband is Christian.

Indeed, many Muslim clerics believe that “If the [death] penalty for apostasy was ignored, there would not be an Islam today; Islam would have ended on the death of the prophet,” as top Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi once declared on live television.

I am here to just say one thing? Why do YOU hate people? and you should really give a valid reason not a shitty one that says 'Because Jews, Because Christians, Because Atheists'
and Yes, I am a people's person for those who ask, just tell me, come out of your shell and say why you HATE people like myself, and I could be here to clarify things to you, or not...
Also here is something that most muslims mistake about people's person like me is that "Christianity or Buddhism hate other religions" for this I say, Christianity or Buddhism does not hate ANY religion, but they suggest to 'invite' them to Christianity or Buddhism or Judaism, as slowly, and peacefully, even if they refuse, you can try and try, until it's their choice, you stop. and for all the wars that happened, it's because this other religion decided to come into war on Christianity or Buddhism or Judaism.

If you need anything clarified, I may not be here to answer you, don't be scared, I won't be offended by anyone, also haters, you can reply, I won't care Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Cheesy

STUDY: CHRISTIANS SUFFER ‘EXTREME PERSECUTION’ IN COUNTRIES WITH MAJORITY MUSLIM POPULATIONS

According to the newly released World Watch List for 2015, nine out of the top ten countries where Christians suffer “extreme persecution” have populations that are at least 50% Muslim.

The World Watch List (WWL) is a ranking of the 50 countries where persecution of Christians for religious reasons is most severe. It is compiled by Open Doors USA, a human rights organization which has monitored Christian persecution worldwide since the 1970s.

The 2015 report found that “Islamic extremism is by far the most significant persecution engine” of Christians in the world today and that “40 of the 50 countries on the World Watch List are affected by this kind of persecution.”

The Watch List states that in the world today each month, on average, 322 Christians are killed for their faith, 214 Christian churches and properties are destroyed, and 772 acts of violence occur against Christians.

The ten worst countries for Christian persecution are, in descending order, North Korea, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iran, Pakistan, Eritrea, and Nigeria. Of these ten, only North Korea is less than 50% Muslim, and only North Korea had a primary “persecution engine” that wasn’t “Islamic extremism”—it was atheistic Communism.

The report found that the Middle East is still one of the most violent areas of the world for Christians, particularly in areas afflicted by aggression from the Islamic State. More than 70% of Christians have fled Iraq since 2003, and more than 700,000 Christians have left Syria since the civil war began in 2011.

Prior to the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, Iraq was home to one of the largest Christian communities of the Middle East. Christians have lived in Iraq for nearly two millennia but are currently on the verge of extinction. In July 2014, ISIS began marking houses owned by Christians with the Arabic ‘N’, which stands for ‘Nazarene.’ These houses were taken over by ISIS militants. The militants gave Christians in Mosul an ultimatum to convert to Islam by July 19th, pay a tax, or be executed.

Somalia, with its 99.8% Muslim population, ranks second on the Watch List and has only a few hundred Christians. In Somalia, Islamic religious leaders publicly maintain that there is no room for Christianity, Christians, or churches in Somalia, a view “upheld and reinforced” by government officials. In the country’s very recent history, Muslim converts to Christianity have often been killed on the spot when discovered.

Pakistan, with its extreme majority of Sunni Muslims, has also registered an uptick in anti-Christian violence, especially under the aegis of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. According to reports, churches in Pakistan are frequently vandalized, and Christians are beaten, raped, abducted, and murdered with impunity. Christians also face discrimination in employment and education, which keep them in the lower classes.

This year’s WWL was independently audited by the International Institute of Religious Freedom (IIRF).

Open Doors defines Christian persecution as “any hostility experienced from the world as a result of one’s identification as a Christian. Beatings, physical torture, confinement, isolation, rape, severe punishment, imprisonment, slavery, discrimination in education and employment, and even death are just a few examples of the persecution they experience on a daily basis.”

The only thing that makes that noteworthy is that Jewish persecution is, of course, a given.

So...

Jewish...persecuted
Christian...persecuted
Athiests and non-believers...hack their heads off

As far as I understood this forum is supposed to be about topics that had to do with bitcoins.

All religions are the opium of the people, christianity is no different from Islam, they all got big problems and you're just deciding to look for the bad on Islam.
Have you ever considered all those pederast priests? All the crusades and wars fought because of Christianity? all the radicals and religious fanatics?
In the bible god killed around more than 24 million people, and don't get me started on how much atrocities were on the old testament.
I will enlighten you with the truth: you only see Islam as an extremely evil thing BECAUSE the media, society all around you, and other sources have led you to believe that. Of course Christians are all perfect fellas in your mind, most redneck Americans believe all that crap.

Did you ever have a little fish bowl with some goldfish or something in it? Perhaps you had gerbils. Who had the authority for them? You or they? I mean, if one of them said, Screw that guy who put us in the fish bowl and sees to it that we are fed everyday, would you even care?

God cares. You are ignorant. He is the Boss. If He wants to stop feeding you for a few days, He is the Boss. Like it or not, nobody orders Him around.

If I were you, I wouldn't be so cocky as I lived my simple little life, completely in His view, and under His control.

Smiley

Everyone loves working in a shitty job with an abusive boss right? it's the exact thing you're saying there, the difference is the "boss" is an invisible fantasy man who supposedly makes your life miserable for no reason and never gives any proof that he actually exists.
How nice, when did god actually do something good OR bad to someone? I'm being ignorant and defying god every minute of my day, my life has been good all the time, he doesn't control it, I do.

Egypt student gets 3-year jail term for atheism

An Egyptian court has sentenced a student to three years in jail for announcing on Facebook that he is an atheist and for insulting Islam, his lawyer said Sunday.

Karim al-Banna, a 21-year-old whose own father testified against him, was jailed by a court in the Nile Delta province of Baheira on Saturday, lawyer Ahmed Abdel Nabi told AFP.

"He was handed down a three-year prison sentence, and if he pays a bail of 1,000 Egyptian pounds ($ 140 or 117 euros) the sentence can be suspended until a verdict is issued by an appeals court," Abdel Nabi said, adding that an appeal was to be heard on March 9.

Abdel Nabi said his client's father had testified against his son, charging that he "was embracing extremist ideas against Islam".

Banna's name had appeared in a list of known atheists in a local daily after which his neighbours harassed him, said Ishaq Ibrahim, a researcher on religion and beliefs at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights.

When Banna went to file a complaint against them at a police station, he was accused of insulting Islam and arrested, said Ibrahim, who has been tracking Banna's case.

Banna has been in custody since November.

In December 2012, a 27-year-old blogger, Alber Saber, was sentenced to three years in jail on charges of blasphemy.

And last June, a Coptic Christian man was sentenced to six years in jail for insulting Islam.

The authorities have stepped up measures, including organising workshops, to counter atheism.

Egypt's constitution outlaws insults against the three recognised monotheist religions -- Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

French Muslim children REFUSED to participate in schools’ moment of silence for terror victims

When CNN’s Christiane Amanpour wasn’t crapping on America during the Paris Unity Rally, she put out a tidbit from French newspapers that showed just how fractured French society is by fundamentalist Muslims.
