Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

Vycid, I think we all got your points here on this thread, now. That would be nice if you could just post less, it starts to be annoying.
Convey your ideas, write them down nicely, post them, that's all very well. But don't feel obliged to answer to pretty much any post at any time.
That's not worth it for everyone to go through pages and pages of text half from you, whatever is your added value to the discussion.
I am sure many already have put you on ignore list. I am politely asking you to refrain a bit instead, because I am ok to read your input. In absolute valuation, not in number of posts!
This is a reasonable request. Attempting to answer everyone's questions/arguments is clogging the the thread. I intend to switch to a denser, high-effort post every 1-2 days, to avoid repeating myself. Starting today. or maybe just STFU No, he's entitled to expressing his views, same as everyone else. No one is ever complaining about FC fans who post uninteresting bs or shitty memes, so let's not apply double standards here. |

yeah, I've seen over 100 TH/s on that one. It's a 12 hour average, so there's a lot of luck involved, and it is nowhere near accurate. |

Why has the hashrate dropped the past weeks?
It dropped in different few days. Some of them are internal hardware/network glitches, some of them are luck based. We haven't identified any form of DDOS attacks recently though.
It sounds really strange to me that at this stage of network growth there isn't a regular report of such attacks against ASICMiner or other entities. I expected many people buying up shares and then ddosing the competition. If there was it would be pretty easy to prevent. Just don't ever have your mining farm ever talk to the outside world. Send everything through VPS running bitcoind as a relay. Mining farm bitcoind ----> relay bitcoind ----> rest of world. If things get real bad keep a dozen cheap VPS running bitcoind as an insurance policy. If a relay node goes down due to DDOS then the mining farm switches to the next one (or two) on it is round robin list. Given the low frequency of blocks (even 10% of the network is only a block every couple hours) it would take forever to find a DDOS all the relay nodes. |

Something like changing the chart to 6 hours, 24 hours, 7 days would be more useful. |
