Yeah, partners interested in BTC mining (or even just BTC) are sadly even more scarce than bitcoins...

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

oh, she loves BTC and everything it offers, but not so much the mining equipment.  Not much interest, there.  I have to admit, I'm not really into mining equipment, either.

That's why I invest in btc mining companies...  Grin

All of the women I've mentioned BTC to (3 - I generally avoid opportunities for social suicide) were extremely receptive. My girlfriend actually bought a few (she's an engineer though).

Honestly I think the gender disparity is just a reflection of the male-dominated tech and finance sectors.

Give it some time. The use of the USD is just as prevalent among women as it is for men Wink

I think women use more fiat than men.  You should see some of those credit cards bills from ex wives.  Shocked

are there ways to buy the USB miner with fiat ? New comers who have a hard time getting BTC (having to go thru all sort of hassles, bitstamp/localbitcoin/mtgox or what not), might be interested to buy the USB Miner with fiat instead. It will definitely boost the sale, if FC decides to offer them this way and take a bit risk of exchange rate.

Any reseller could do it, no reason for FC or AM team to waste time with this.

I was thinking abt these new USBs, what if it becomes not a miner, but as means to purchase BTC from overcrowded and over-regulated exchanges.  This way people can still get some BTCs with their fiat money. Say a sudden move up to 5x in BTC price making the slow USBs still productive.  Isn't that the thinking?

exactly, although getting btc directly is more profitable, assuming theses USB never meet ROI, but people can get it now, instead of waiting for btc to be 266 and be able to get in.

cool yea there's another story behind it.  Though if say a reseller's customer has never owned BTC before and they've only had fiat and got a USB, then I'm not sure they don't meet ROI.

Since there's time decay to cash, if that customer doesn't do something then they'll have 0 BTC and 0 cash in time. atleast if they bot a USB they 'll still have some BTC. You'll have a positive BTC wallet.

Well, I was wondering how AM had managed to get so overvalued.

It's making more and more sense to me.

Yes I hope so.  the price got so low because i'm trying to come up long term stories to justify the value.

Vycid I saw you made out on the short side. Bulls and bears all make money.

I'm in it for some long term value.
