1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best time of the day to buy Bitcoin on: July 03, 2022, 08:04:38 AM
Buy it when the prices are down and you have money in the pocket. there is no ideal time to buy. There is ideal time of hodling. If you want a quick profit. I don't think this is the right time as the market is still in devaluation mode and the prices to me seem like, they will fall further. So yes you can stay assured that bitcoin like previously will rise. But  for that you will need to hodl your bitcoins for quite some time.
The ideal time to buy bitcoin would be too risky as you will need to real time watch the market as there will be some point where you can buy bitcoin at a certain point to be able to gain a huge profit. But still any time during the bearish market would be a great buy as previous indicator suggest that crypto will rise or pump after a few months. This also best apply for long term investors.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2022, 06:33:29 AM
That's right, it's ending for scam projects that promise big, hyped out projects without any plausible application, as well as trash altcoins and shitcoins. As for bitcoin, it's been dead since 2009. I don't know exactly how many times people have mentioned it has died, and now bitcoin is trading at 20k and and once again the bitcoin haters will be lamenting an end to bitcoin. You will hear the same thing until bitcoin is traded for 200k or more, more... and they won't stop whining to you about bitcoin dying.
Crypto projects that doesn't have any useful usecase will surely cease to exist anytime also as we can see during this bear market, various shitcoins and altcoin have died. This is also one of the good thing that always happen during a crypto bear market. Bitcoin will always die, burst out like a bubble, be banned, and will never be considered as currency just as people say.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mr Beast makes joke about Bitcoin in new video on: July 03, 2022, 05:19:43 AM

Not a fan but not eating for 30 days is really challenging. Except he eats chocolates and in 14th day he ate Gordon Ramsay's burger which they shaved his head. Well that's the whole spoiler. The mention of BTC is not really something that is discussed in the video but yep he is mocking what the price had become.  I once saw a video of him years ago which was also posted in a thread. Mr. Beast have featured BTC many times I guess.

Him having 97M subscribers can make him win a government position so this is guy is already rich, he is financially stable and does invest probably on stock market alone.
Haven't really watched the full video yet but the content of the video of not eating for 30 days really is hard. I once did a diet called OMAD or "One Meal a Day" and it was hard especially for the first 3-7days as you'll feel too much hunger even after eating once a day.

Anyways, you're correct the mention of bitcoin on the video isn't really a focus on it. It was somehow used as reference or comparison on the weigh lost chart of MrBeast. There's nothing really wrong about it and no offensive things has been said against bitcoin. Also, he is correct on this one since that is what the current crypto market looks like.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 02, 2022, 07:23:35 PM
I think it is pretty normal for FUD to arise given the fact that most investors have released more than hundreds to thousands of dollars on this investment. The slightest increase/decrease on its price can mean millions of gain/loss on their end. Though FUDs are the normal occurrence of an investor, it must be understood that this opportunity must be taken advantage of.

Back in 2017, I started my journey in which the price of BTC was around $4,000. Lots of people were speculating that BTC is a 'bubble' that might pop soon. Though this may be the case, its price continued to rise which made at least everyone happy.

FUD will always exist but if we already know how crypto works and how the market moves based on the past occurrence, we'll never be affected by it.
Lots of people are fearing the market and doubt of Bitcoin becoming a bubble is always present but those who trust it take this season as an open opportunity to buy and take advantage of the market situation. The fool will fear this season but wise investors see it as another flood gates of profit.
It is pretty common that FUD will happen and spread out especially with this kind of bearish market. Unfortunately, there will always be people who will be affected by these just as what we are seeing at the market. FUDs made by normal people may not affect people however huge influencer, corporation and country level kind of FUD will affect people and the crypto market.  FUD will always exist as long as there will be someone against crypto.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How certain are you that cryptocurrency will experience more parabolic bull runs on: July 02, 2022, 06:55:59 PM
How do you see the risk of cryptocurrency right now? Are you confident that cryptocurrency will recover, and when do you think that will happen?
I've been with different market seasons and through the years, I've seen how crypto dropped down and recovered again. I believe that the same thing or better situation could happen in the future. Bitcoin and other top coins already have a strong bear market resistance so I'm confident that the prices could strike better soon.
One of the best thing that we show proof for investors is its history. We cannot assure that bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies will recover on the future but that's what bitcoin is, volatility and it tends to decline on a certain time which we call a bearish market. However, Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies has shown proof that it tends to recover at a certain afterwards.
1006  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to cash out crypto payment on: July 02, 2022, 06:10:05 PM
Thanks to all.

I wanted to cash out to ATM card and someone told me about bitsa card but from some reason it is not compatible with any of my 4 android phones !! I dont want to go into risky deals each time

You can try and do some deals here at bitcointalk. There are some services and P2P trading available at Currency Exchange Board and in case you don’t want to risk any deals, you can ask for an Escrow to make no scam will happen during the trade. Escrow service requires minimal fee but there some trusted users here that will provide that for free.

How this helps you on doing P2P deals.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: July 02, 2022, 05:34:44 PM
Gambling is no exception, but when you win in gambling, your mind will be full of joy and when you lose, your mind will be full of depression. There are some risks behind any success so you have to gamble with the risk, then you will succeed or fail.
Among other things where we can feel excitement and sadness, surely gambling will not be an exception to this as we are betting with our money through games and sporting events. We feel happy and excitement when we have a lot of money and it’s the opposite when we lose money which is what is happening in gambling.

This kinds of emotion can stick us with through our sleep especially when we are sad, frustrated, exhausted and depressed and we think all the what ifs that we could have made. This things are what we dreamed off since it’s what weare thinking subconsciously before we go to bed.
1008  Economy / Gambling / Re: Disgusting beitsler on: July 02, 2022, 05:08:44 PM
Look, I know you are probably angry but using such language on support isn't going to help.

Calmly ask them what happened and why it happened?

Also, I suggest you open proper scam accusations with proof of how your account was rigged and how they are not helping you.
here is a proper scam reporting format -- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

I think they will respond since they have an active representative in this forum.

If this isnt enough for you, then u are lost dude. I can give you my account and password and go play by yourserf.
It looks like the OP is not even serious on taking this scam accusations seriously which is also the reason why this accusation might even makes sense or even taken seriously.

OP doesn’t want to take the correct action on filing a scam accusations on Bitsler.
OP does not provide any necessary proof on the accusations made.
OP provided a conversation from customer support that does not support his accusations on any kind.
OP rather would bad mouth and use profanity than ask formally.

Hopefully, before ranting on the forum atleast do necessary actions and report to the support will information on your account before even making an accusations of any kind.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Ten Ways Billionaires Avoid Taxes on an Epic Scale on: July 02, 2022, 02:56:08 PM
It's crazy how the rich, who has the power to literally change the world if they wanted to, avoids paying taxes. Well, if they just pay whatever the government imposed on them that would be great, since they already contribute to the economy by way of their businesses and the jobs it create. The thing is, they go out of their own way to purposely not pay taxes. They can pay for it quite easily and still be on the positive side of things at the end of the day, but they believe that they have contributed enough hence they could contribute no more. Not saying that they should do philanthropic acts or give everything that they have, but maybe they could do a little more for the greater good.
Actually, these rich people do pay the right amount of tax that the government imposed to them. Unfortunately, they try to avoid paying too much tax by exploiting or taking advantage of the loopholes on the tax law. What they do is not illegal as they are not evading their tax rather they are limiting the taxes that will be imposed to them such as investments on stocks.

Also, I don't really get why being rich will makes them or require them to help other people. To be perfectly fair, most of them do help other people that are in need but they discretely do this yet more and more people are being more demanding like rich people are entitled to help more.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 02, 2022, 02:21:22 PM
The volatility of bitcoin is one of the reason why more and more people are into it as it is being taken as an investment by majority of people. Also, it'll be hard to control the stability of BTC price as it is decentralized and the market has been held by various holders that tons of bitcoins or whales. Another aspect that we will need look into is the limit of bitcoin as we still haven't reached the limit of bitcoin to be mined.

But yes, in case volatility will be erased or removed from Bitcoin, surely more people and association will incorporate bitcoin and crypto payment on their platform or company. By then, we can proudly say that bitcoin (without any doubt by other people) is a currency.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce the Global Wealth and Income Inequalities in 2022? on: July 02, 2022, 01:06:32 PM
In the country where I reside the prices of everything are skyrocketing but the income remains the same year to year. Is it still possible that in 2022 Bitcoin can help reduce this wealth and income inequality? Bearing in mind that most people were not early adopters.
Not sure if we're on the same country but this is also the case on my country whereas the income of any or most employee does not have the same proportion on the cost of living.

In regards with your question, The answer would be no, as everyone has the same access to cryptocurrency however not everyone are capable to invest unlike rich people. There are people who came from a low income that was able to get rich due to investing in crypto.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Had you ever x10,000 (UPDATE x99,000)? on: July 02, 2022, 12:01:02 PM
Such a nostalgic moment that you've mentioned the website Just-dice from where you've won that. Just-dice is one of the OG dice game alongside Primedice and it was also my first gambling website where I received a 10 clam tip and multiplied it up to 1000clam doing risky bets  Grin.

Anyways, congratulations on winning that amount using that very high multiplier. I also experience winning with 9900x multiplier on Primedice however I've only bet 10 sats using auto bet. I didn't win that much but it was kinda fun.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 02, 2022, 08:58:05 AM
Gambling might be hereditary on some cases but not to all.

I've known people from friends and families that is associated to gambling whether it's on games or sports but some of their child are not even interested to do gambling. It also vary of how their parents would introduce them to gambling and how they will incorporate it to them.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: July 02, 2022, 07:47:38 AM
Same as the MLM function people have begun to connect cryptocurrencies with MLM. Even in my country certain groups are functioning with the same thing promoting that payments will be in terms of bitcoin. For the participation some tokens have been given. While checking I haven't seen on any of the top exchanges.
MLM programs has already been connected to cryptocurrency way back when doubler services was a thing on my country. These programs are like pyramiding schemes however they have a legitimate product to sell whereas a uses can either join or invest on their programs. Since most of the revenue of these programs are from referral, they tend to fall down in the future.
As for OP's topic, I don't think that these MLM and Gambling are the same as MLM are more like a risky investment and Gambling is more on casino or esports bettings.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 01, 2022, 04:32:58 PM
In this case, they are just avoiding some bad scenario that may occur if the site won't play honest with them and as we know, they cannot be trusted especially when it comes to giving them our personal information. They might gonna sell it to others and use it to do things that we ourselves won't even imagine to do those things. Lots already happened with this kind of case and after they closed, we won't really know what will gonna happen to our personal data afterward.
I don't think that most of the gamblers think this way as they surely trust the gambling platform as they are risking their funds especially high rollers.

For me, one of the main reason as to why gamblers don't want to provide their identity or do the KYC process is for security purposes on their identity as they are gambling with their own money where they don't want to expose themselves especially for high rollers who gambles with huge amount of money. Also, security on the website and blockchain technology for crypto are not the same where a simple breach of information may result of their identity being expose.

One other reason may possibly be is that the gambler is from a country where online gambling and cryptocurrency is restricted.

1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be in favor of Gold or Bitcoin !! on: July 01, 2022, 10:38:18 AM
Personally, I think both Gold and Diamonds will not be comparable to Bitcoin.
Gold is still abundant on earth that humans have not yet exploited,
You know, Diamonds are something that we can make if we want more, Bitcoin is not, there is a limited 21 million Bitcoins and then no one will be able to generate more than one new BTC.
The physical gold and diamond cannot or will not be compared to Bitcoin but it was used a comparison as bitcoin act as a digital gold or diamond as an asset.
It really is a good thing to see how even a bank recognized the potential of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies where they even appreciated it's term from "Digital Gold" to "Digital Diamond". We all know that diamond has more value than gold and it symbolises the wealth of an individual due to it's rarity. True, that diamond can be artificially created however it's quality varies to it's density which is why it's value is high.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 30, 2022, 05:07:16 PM
It wasn't called the great reset for nothing. It's a given that companies in field related to the pandemic are going to profit (ppe and test kid manufacturers, etc) but another way this made the rich richer is that large businesses had smaller competitors got wiped out from the economic fallout of the lockdowns, for example look at all the smaller restaurant chains that closed.

It is indeed the biggest wealth transfer in history and we haven't even talked about the massive money printing with which they basically stole our money.
A lot of businesses has been affected whether it's a large company or just a simple business however with the multiple lockdowns that happened during the pandemic season, a lot of these businesses was not able to survive and got wiped out and those who survive was able to recover and even got more profit now. Nevertheless, those who mainly struggle are industries that weren't able to adapt with the lockdowns and the face to face contact such as restaurants, transportation and many more. However, there were companies that was less affected such as Programming, Customer Support and other businesses that was able to continue provide services despite the lockdowns.

With these changes that happened and small businesses who got wiped out, it really did widen the gap from the poor and riches. I forgot to mention, various individuals lost their jobs which affect lower and middle class workers to high class business owners.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Uganda’s gold discovery: What it could mean for crypto !!! on: June 30, 2022, 04:06:50 PM
Is gold becoming inflationary? Can Bitcoin replace it as a store of value due to its scarcity and reliability? Are Uganda’s numbers implausible?
There's a possibility that gold is becoming inflationary as if you look into other things that has less value than gold already has inflation.
I doubt that bitcoin or any cryptocurrency can replace it but still you can compare the same way as before as a "digital gold".
Probably with that kind amount of gold being mined on Uganda but still that kind of amount, it will surely affect it's price having it supply being boosted with that amount.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Irrelevance of Education in Nigeria. on: June 30, 2022, 03:01:08 PM
Don't wait the government to do anything in order to fix or improve your life. Thankfully we have internet nowadays in areas where it seemed unlikely years ago, and that is all you need in order to educate yourself and find opportunities to learn and earn online. Don't waste your energy and effort in political affairs and potential changes. The society in general is doomed to the failure, because most people can't think by themselves as individuals and the few who do think are considered pessimistic and troublemakers. After all, you can't fight manipulation of the powerful ones who rule your country and make the maintenance of the precariousness.

In order words: you can't fix your country, so fix your own life and be happy!
It might be the case on other country like yours and mine however it's hard for individuals to grow and learn in countries where almost everyone is deprived with education and supports. We might already how things are in country like Nigeria based from our knowledge from the internet. It is hard for them to learn and research through the internet if they don't even have a computer or internet in their area and how the computer works. I hope your post does not meant to invalidate their situation.
