1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest in bitcoin for my child's cost when they grow up. on: February 02, 2023, 07:24:40 PM
Have another source of income and use that to support your family so that if you ever had some spare money, that's the money that you'll use for investing in bitcoin.

Don't forget that when you invest in bitcoin in the long term, you'll have the idea when to sell and when to buy more.

But, you're also free to sell at any time as you wish if you needed the money. Because many weren't able to follow the plans that they've set as we've said that we're going to hold all that we've got for a certain period of time.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 02, 2023, 09:48:28 AM
Yeah, he's should get 30 for the remaining games and he'll definitely there and we all will witness history  being mae. I've seen a trivia about his stats for the recent game that he's the first at his age to do a triple-double.

What's more interesting is that as he's approaching to hit those numbers. How much the price for the ticket will be for every close possible game that he'll make it.

Lebron James is so much invested in getting that record, Stephen Curry has gotten the most 3 points in the NBA and likely giving it extra mile in the years to come, I think if Lebron James would landed on that number he will surely still be willing to still play to further add to that numbers so the next one to likely want to break that record will have a hardtime, passing it,

I don't really know the price for the tickets but surely most fans want to watch history as Lebron James is about to break a record,
I think that his stay won't be anymore about record breaking. If he's able to break a record, that would suffice him as he's already made a history and with his stay.

I think the main reason is for him to play together with his kids and that's all. Whether 1 or both of them gets into NBA with the same team, the joy that he's got is there and at the same time the record is still there too.

Hunnyplay has a referral program and their description is that it's a top referral program and for you to know more about them, you can visit their website through my signature.

Or you can visit their announcement thread[1] so that you can know more about them and not just the affiliate/referral matter.

With only 89 points to go now it's starting to get exciting.  In order for LeBron to do it at home and on TNT against the Bucks, he's going to have to score 30 points per game in the next three games.  That's his average, so it isn't out of the question.  The pressure will certainly be on though as I don't think anyone wants to be on the other side of this piece of history.  Still, I'm looking for LeBron to try and put up 40 ppg in the next 2 games to make it easy on himself to make the record happen.  It is starting to look a little like it might happen on ABC in front of the Warriors fans though.

1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be vulnerable to Quantum Computers in about 2 years on: February 01, 2023, 04:51:07 PM
IIRC, I've read the same thoughts when I was still new in the market like for someone who's new to it, will definitely discouraged from that statement about quantum computers.

Well then the panic has been said and effective to me during that time. Someone who's not experienced yet in the market might fall for it.

But when you study just the history of bitcoin, are you still going to believe with it? And are those quantum computers will just have to focus on bitcoin and as they say crack it down and won't do something else that are more important?
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 01, 2023, 02:29:05 PM
Those people that are still living just to show off to others are the ones that will really suffer in the end. There's no end for one to have themselves boastful with what they've got and it's still the best to live life being humble and showing humility to the others.

But as the topic all about thriving, don't be dependent on a single income. You need to find ways which you can showcase every single skill that you have. Look for side hustles that will give an additional income, be the working person and enjoy it at the same time. Find your passion through it so you won't get bored and exhausted.
Yes, people who live by wanting to be looked at by others is a lifestyle that is not good. There is a difference between being someone you look up to and someone you want to look up to. Usually they hold whatever they don't have as long as they get more views from other people. And what they do is excess, and excess is not good.
A side job is an option for everyone who wants to develop. Surely it will take up a lot of time and energy because we have to work extra in addition to the main job. But if we do it sincerely and with joy, it will be easy to do, moreover, a side job is something we like.
As for me, it's better to look too low in the sight of the others but they don't know the actual situation that I've got, whether it's tough or not.

The problem with those people that are only living but to brag with what they've got and only want to be praised by other people, they'll have hard time dealing with changes regards to that thought they have.

Through the side hustles, whichever is comfortable to you, they're really great ways to have another source of income and you can allocate the profit there to any of your bills or desires.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success in futures trading after long wait. on: February 01, 2023, 10:32:57 AM
In the practice of futures trading, it is not recommended for beginners because it is the opposite of spot trading. It needs understanding and knowledge to earn here.
But you'll see too many beginners are trying futures because they've been hearing a lot on how huge the profits can be. "Can be", yeah that's it and that's why they're trying.

In hope that they might make so much from it, they're taking the risk and understands that it's not an easy way to trade. There are also those that have been learning from it for which they increase the leverage with a minimal amount which they can afford to lose.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED seem like the most powerful manipulator overall on: February 01, 2023, 03:30:36 AM
It is that most of the people that are interested on it understands the impact that the FED can make. It's the reaction of the market and it's like a quick glance of the market that we shall see.

So, if the meeting turned something positive then expect that it will also reflect to the market and it will be positive.

And if not, then that only means that it's going to turn the market reaction negatively. There are millions of us that are watching and closely monitoring on it so, it's like a community and market reaction at the same time.

1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: January 31, 2023, 11:04:54 AM
My greatest fear is; what if 2024 halving comes and go without any kind of bull run? Don't you think that there will be a serious problem and panic in the industry?
That's okay.

As long as it maintains the current stand of bitcoin in the market right now, I'd be more than happy to accept if it won't be in a bull run. But anyway, several times that it has been like that and it's a pattern that we're all hoping for.

So, assuming that no bullruns happen, I don't think that it will cause any panic.

This is because 2024 halving is the greatest available hype that can move the market. Besides that, I don't see any possible wave that can move Bitcoin to a new ATH. Unless US government will have to make BTC a legal tender.
Being declared as a legal tender of US will really make a huge impact but, I think that we don't need that to happen. What we have is already enough and effect of the halving is perfect to see the bump in the long run. A slow growth would suffice everything for bitcoin's growth.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 31, 2023, 09:36:39 AM
Later, it's going to be Nets and Lakers without Lebron and AD.

The outcome of this game was quite predictable. The Lakers couldn't do anything without LeBron and Davis, and as a result, they lost to the Nets by 17 points. However, it should be noted that the Lakers played well in the second and third quarters, and it seemed like they could fight for the win at that point. Unfortunately, they ruined the game for themselves with a disgusting fourth-quarter performance.
It was really to be expected that it will be ending up like that. The game was full of explosion in the threes for the Nets.

Without AD and Lebron, they will really have a hard time but they it was so close! AD was too effective and can do a lot of things under the ring and of course, we know of Lebron.

They were really close with Nets on the 3rd quarter and thought it was their momentum. But then, when it's on the last quarter, everything turned black for the Lakers.

1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 12,000 in 2023. on: January 31, 2023, 07:47:10 AM
What do you guys think about the possibility that bitcoin will crash down below 20k again before going beyond 24k?
The economy is still tanking, unemployment is rising and rates are still high and we don't know when they will start getting lower. And the biggest thing is that we still didn't feel the effect of the rate hikes. Considering all this, I see a real possibility of bitcoin crashing down with other assets.
I don't see how we can get a soft landing when there is a statistic that every time after the fed pivot economy was dumping even harder.
I want to hear your perspective on this.BTC
It's possible, it's just been there so possibilities are endless that it could go under $20k again. Honestly, with all these crises that are happening, we've dealt with it pre-pandemic. We all thought that it would crash the market but it reversed our expectations.

The price of bitcoin has increased even more and gave way to the last ATH on 2021. I guess the same thing might happen again, halving next year, with crises that we have to face including the vast layoffs.

Maybe it will be the opening to make the price of bitcoin higher again by end of 2024-2025.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 31, 2023, 12:36:00 AM
I don't understand why until today, the league is not giving any suspension order on that ref.
Me either, I'm wondering why sanction hasn't been placed on Eric Lewis. Yeah, the referee that everyone wouldn't condone for the decision he made of not giving a call.

I'm starting to think that the management of Celtics is too close or powerful for the NBA management to just disregard of what everyone is talking about against him.

Later, it's going to be Nets and Lakers without Lebron and AD.

Ok thanks for the name, and there are data showing that since 2020, he referee the Boston games 38 times, 36-2 for the Celtics hehehe. So the next time Eric Lewis referee a game and it involves the Celtics, we know where to bet.  Grin

Similar to CP3 and Scott Foster as a referee, 0-14 straight-up in the last 14 playoff games Foster has officiated.

Others say that he is not closed to where the action is so he can't blew the whistle, perhaps not suspended, but referees need to be evaluated from time to time if they made a lousy officiating, just saying.
Yeah, I also saw that data and that's why it seems that he's like the lapdog of the Celtics. Well, if it's not for this incident, no one will dig upon on the data that he's officiated as a referee with Celtics' games.

I agree about that they need to be reevaluated like a performance review but hopefully, that it will be done by an unbias body of the NBA so that there won't be the politics that might affect the review.

But it seems that there's no news like that yet that we've been waiting for, are they going to satisfy us with any action or will just let the issue die in silence?

1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 30, 2023, 07:58:58 PM
If you've just bought bitcoin on January 15 when you've made and asked through this thread, you're already in profit. Price back then was $20k and price currently is $23k and trying to hit $24k any time now.

Those that have worries upon buying now or so. You should just take action and be accountable to your own decision so that you're the only one that's going to look at the lesson and the profit that you'll get.

It's better to take your position when you fully understand the situation. Like what you said, your action will witness the outcome. Either you succeed or you failed, more on how you can handle each situation in the market. Many failed due to wrong mindsets that the market for crypto is a good place for quick profits. They are the first line that breakout when a dump takes place.

They added pressures to the selling position and make the market to fall for more, without knowing the business your chance of
Succeeding is lesser. Don't take it as like a gambling platform. Better to invest with your knowledge before taking your call and step
inside the market.
I agree.

That's one that we need into this market, the basic knowledge is important and that's the newbies should have for before they invest. Not just asking if they should invest now or so.

Because knowing such will make them realize that it's more important to have the understanding towards what they're investing than to rely on someone's thought which varies.

1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 29, 2023, 10:05:14 PM
Lol, Am gone through every comment and I must say that i enjoyed the the conversation so far,
To add, i personally know that the scenarios i mentioned is (though very possible to happen) unlikely, at least, I know a someone who won close to $7000 on his second day of gambling, he started the first day and gambled away $15, after about 2 weeks, he came back to the same casino, deposited $100 and started playing one of this pragmatic games, betting random amount on each round of the game, he got luck and won over 15 free rounds, through this rounds, he won several  multipliers and that was how he's total winning amount to $6,879, that is a lot of money if converted to my countries currency, I advised him to withdraw that money and start a business with it, and forget about gambling, he did obey, started a business but later went into gambling again without me knowing, I only got to know that he went back to gambling when I saw that he's business wasn't doing well as it suppose, I tried inquiring from him what's going on, he later opened up to me that he lost over $2000 on sports betting some weeks back, and the loss is affecting his business.

This was how the idea of this thread came by.
That was a good story and that really happens to everyone. We have the idea on what we must do with our winnings but eventually, we want to get back on it when we face some problems again financially. We're ending it down to the idea that gambling may help us again.

As for your friend, he may not be focused with his business and kept gambling without you knowing and he just told probably a portion of his loss and shy to tell the whole thing on how big his loss were.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 29, 2023, 08:54:45 PM

Recently I have had numerous reunions with Uncles from my extended family. Some of them are successful businessmen for decades. They built their business from nothing and are living quite a comfortable life now. We had long conversations about life in general, including their key to success. I knew very well that they have been hard workers ever since I had a memory so I would contribute their success to endless efforts. However, one thing they had mentioned in common was luck. They believe pure luck made them meet and grasp those opportunities and become successful rather than their smartness and efforts. I've thought about this before and couldn't agree with this more. They've set very good examples to me, including my father, and now I tend to focus more on work itself consistently and let luck or fate takes the rest.
If that what makes them feel satisfied with their success then let them believe to whatever it is. But if it's all about reality, it's all about the hard work that they've done.

They just don't want to make themselves look arrogant and say to others that they've worked hard to what they have right now. Because for others upon hearing it will make them think that they're arrogant if they'll say it nowadays.

As you know, most people today are sensitive in terms of trying to explain your good situation so, maybe that's one reason for it.

@OP, you've forgotten to put 4cryptobet into the OFNP. Aside from changing the rate, the campaign has removed all participants and everyone (new and old) applications has to be made.

You will need to apply again to join the campaign and old participants will get priority.

Utopia campaign managed by joeperry stated that the campaign is currently on pause.

The campaign will be paused for a while.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 10:18:40 PM
Beating the house depends how you see it. If those scenarios will make you think that you've beaten them then that's it.

But if that's not satisfying to you then you'll still have to find a way of beating them with the most satisfying way that you can ever be. Anyway, with such thinking of beating them and running away from them with your profit.

I find it as a success that you should really be celebrating and even more if you've ever had to start with that money with your business. That's one of the most satisfying scenario for real.
