1081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: November 23, 2020, 04:45:13 PM
An alternative is mining,
there is no KYC in mining, and you can mine as much as you want.
LOL. It's okay if you somehow have supercomputer that could mines thousand time speed of that ordinary mining rig otherwise you gonna wait for centuries until you can get the btc you desires. I know maybe this is sarcasm but this such a bad advice LOL.

Most of the time website that doesn't require kyc to buy kinda complicated and shady so It's just better to get verified once and for all rather than dealing with unecessary stuff.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC and KYC correlation with ICO on: November 23, 2020, 02:36:43 PM
Simply put, an ICO could be used for money laundering and even worse could be made solely for money laundering. To prevent such thing from happening any ICO who obeys the law and regulation need to have KYC which in short verifying their customer's identities to prevent money laundering and that's whats called AML atleast that's what I know in crypto space.
But usually it only happen if ICO have customers that resides in US or Europe.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to find current crypto Airdrops? on: November 23, 2020, 08:06:25 AM
You just use telegram search box and try to type airdrop or crypto airdrop there's literally hundreds of channels that gonna give you information regarding airdrop but ofcourse the admin usually keep to good stuf by themselves and eager to share it unless the airdrop requires refferal to increase reward.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 06:07:35 AM
Small projects are usually low in volume and demand. They also usually have low starting fund which is why most of exchanges outright deny them since it's unsustainable for the exchange to maintain the coin listing. I think one of the best solution for small project is just to use uniswap but only limited to erc20 token. It's always like that anywhere though small business gets crushed easily or they gonna need to start from the bottom.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who the Defi future of Cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2020, 11:06:51 PM
A lot of people say praising the temporary hype and it can't last long. I don't know what to do. I am already reading several posts in blogs and mediums But I couldn't find anything about Defi's future.
Defi is not yet mature and there are still so many scam defi around us. That's why so many people were feeling doubt about that although some defi can still be trusted it's not likely this trusted defi will change the future of defi. Defi is different from ICO. There bunch of ICOs that have become major coins while defi can't perform like that.
This time the only defi has bright future was compound and YFI.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 22, 2020, 10:16:50 PM
DEX may be the future of our industry but for this they need even more users than now
If they need more users than they are now, then the DEX developer should provide an even more attractive touch for everyone so that their users can easily increase from now onwards.
The problem of the dex is less attractive compared with the CEX. We can make a comparison between CEX and DEX. CEx was also offering various staking feature, launch pool, IEO launchpad and various things while dex was only offering some main features that also owned by the CEX. DEX needs a lot of improvements before it will take over the CEX's position.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 - 2020. Better price not yet to come. Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 09:45:28 AM
I am constantly monitoring Bitcoin price movements every day and I am pleased with Bitcoin price growth which is slowly but surely heading towards $20k.  most likely before this year is over Bitcoin will be at $20k or more, let's keep an eye on the price of Bitcoin..
No kidding. The price of BTC although seems like a rollercoaster if you look at different perspective for example long term investor it always goes up. $20K? that's piece of cake if the trand of going up like this persist for another decade. I don't think we gonna have some extreme price rally like it was in 2017 but if it's steady and UP it's already more than enough.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high on: November 22, 2020, 09:12:52 AM
In the coming months I hope to see ETH come down in value. The team in ETH are not serious to tackle this high gas fee and it's painful to see.
Every update on blockchain more specifically ethereum as I see kinda slow and need to undergo such complicated process for example ETH 2.0 need to reach some treshold of eth staked before launched and many more. I'm maybe expecting ETH fee to be solved around the start of next year. Even ETH2.0 is not gonna come anytime soon its frustating.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 21, 2020, 07:48:03 AM
SoftBank CEO statement holds the truth. Not all of people used to Internet. and Bitcoin, crypto or blockchain is indeed hard to understand for people that are not really into tech or touch the internet. Heck, even most of people still misunderstood crypto and bitcoin while thinking that these two word have the same meaning.

Also some old people still think that everything in the internet dont really exist whatsoever and thus useless or worthless so there's that.

I think if we expect crypto to widely adopted by the masses the meaing of cryptocurrency should be further simplified so that people could grasp what it is and what's the difference between crypto and bitcoin.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 20, 2020, 11:21:46 PM
Some projects do not necessarily have telegram groups but still succeed, even though an active telegram group is a good sign when doing research whether to invest or not. Also, some projects have fake members and paid hypers who chat and talk good about the project in the telegram group, hence do not trust everything you see on telegram groups.
That's really rare case usually if they don't have telegram they would set up discord for communication and they don't have any of them open up for people to discuss then people should be alarmed whether that project is real or not.
I know it too well that telegram have so much scammers and phishing bot but usually a good project still need a way to communicate with their benefactor and telegram is the only good choice since most of
crypto enthusiast uses it. Using telegram doesn't mean them automatically become bad.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: November 20, 2020, 03:39:52 PM
Lol too many moon boys hyping their bags on telegram groups, some are even paid hypers. I pity newbie investors who just follow hype to buy coins on telegram without further research. Sometimes when I ask strategic questions in Telegram groups, I get banned especially when the question points out a con about the project. I was asking why team keep minting tokens in a telegram group, whereas their Whitepaper states "no mint function" and the next thing, I was kicked out of group in seconds lol.
That's right on the point. So much of these so called signal group or a specific project group full of scheming scumbags trying to rob innocent people who knows nothing. Sadly it's telegram where most of them are under the radar so they could just did what they usually do which is scamming without even worrying about getting banned by the platform.

If there's newbie out there trying to make fortune don't ever follow an advice from telegram like ever because that's just spelling your own doom.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big difference Bitcoin and other top altcoins on: November 20, 2020, 11:18:54 AM
If you talking about big gap in $ (price in dollar) then it's because so many factor mainly total circulating coin and demands. When we're talking about gap here it should be the market capitalization since it's vital aspect to consider not the price of a coin.

There's many altcoins that has higher price than bitcoin in the past but they usually have very low circulating coin and it's about few thousands which also means small market cap.

However, if what you mean is market cap it's just normal since market cap of bitcoin correlate with its dominance in the market and bitcoin is the first crypto like ever and considered equal to gold.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin with BTC pair is at the bottom on: November 20, 2020, 09:59:25 AM
If you maybe are talking about alts that are paired with BTC showing all red or decreasing its value to BTC it's because the price of BTC to USD recently is increasing quite significantly. If you trying to invest into these coins that are paired with BTC try to check whether the value of the alts (to BTC) equal to the value if exchanged to USDT.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 19, 2020, 11:45:37 AM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?

IMHO, In the present status of the DeFi projects, I believe it's not a treat. because today's Defi is just more on hype and no solid foundation to anchor it, Because there's a lot of issues to settle first like those fraudulent activities of those so-called DeFi projects that rampantly victimized investors it's a shame on their side and now claiming DeFi is a treat to centralized Finance no way I dont believe that crap.
The most important and should be their very concern is the security aspect. They are managing money and if their security is not that good then be ready for another hacking streak for these defi projects. Really, if a project that manages money couldn't do any better regarding their security they should just close down their defi project. It's crazy to think these people have the guts to create project even without any real experience regarding security. They should atleast consult to a security expert first because their system although forked many times still kinda garbage anyway.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies - how will they be constructed? on: November 19, 2020, 10:00:43 AM
When I looked up in google it said that they gonna use blockchain and it's centralized which means totally in control by the government some sort of modified blockchain (wonder why this is still called blockchain at this point) but it's most definitely gonna be yet another stablecoin but released by the government themselves.
I dont expect much from it tho because it does not repersent the real cryptocurrency at all. It's just another stablecoin but a lot more centralized than it ever was.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All markets in 2020 on: November 19, 2020, 06:33:36 AM
Crypto really did perform very well, more specifically btc just see the graph for the last decade it's already up for thousands percent far surpasses many of our expectation while other alts are holding well aswell amidst the pandemic.
I guess it's mainly because of pandemic forcing people to use internet more often they might come across or gets exposed to crypto. I would say that seeing the price trend for these last few years there's just no stopping for the whole crypto market to keep on rising and rising slowly. If the rumour going around about government creating their own stablecoin turns out to be true then be ready for the price rollercoaster.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another scam bounty campain Yearn.Global on: November 18, 2020, 10:45:19 PM
Yearn finance now yearn global. Bruh, nothing good comes out from a clone so next time you see this kind of project with almost the same name you just better stay away from it. They are just money making machine nothing more and nothing less. You better choose a better project not because it has the name that resemble an already existing project but because the developer team are hardworking people that put their effort into the project not some half assed project like this LOL.
1098  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 18, 2020, 03:26:42 PM
Since PayPal just announced that crypto trading and payment services went live in the US, do you think PayPal may turn into a big competitor to existing cryptoexchages? They can also launch a crypto-currency trading desk as well, why not.

The opportunity does exist, but for now paypal is still focused on promoting cryptocurrency on their platform,
it is not easy to make an exchange platform, because we know there is Binance which is its main competitor.
Paypal is by any means NOT promoting cryptocurrency at all they just going to reap the benefit of adopting cryptocurrency as well as increasing their user base coverage to crypto community which holds tremendous amount of people and it's just happen that cryptocurrency got more exposed to the world because of the news about the adoption by paypal. Not that I'm skeptical but paypal will more likely to do just that, being a payment processor is always their goal and I don't think they ever gonna be a crypto exchange. Big corporation like paypal usually restrained with complicated regulation which is why they gonna think twice before switching over to provide exchange service. I mean, if they really want to create an exchange for crypto they better creates different company for that under paypal umbrella right?
1099  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto Exchange on: November 18, 2020, 08:13:18 AM
yeah, the card is a cool feature but must have some limitation, kyc process and stuff, anyway I wouldn't switch to some new exchange from my old proven ones

If the card is actually the only one cool feature that makes it stand out than other exchange then it might be a problem tbh. as you said the card is cool feature but in the past many crypto card provider just got bankrupt when the issuer of the card gone. Not to mention that any most of the popular exchange right now already has this crypto card feature ready to go and is reliable. New exchange should work on their reputation ,trust and reliability first honestly.
1100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility determined by percentage of traders vs hodlers? on: November 16, 2020, 09:24:53 AM
Volatility in my opinion heavily depends on how large the market volume itself. You can have a crypto with 90% of holders if the volume in the market is kinda low it's vulnerable to market manipulation or even huge pump and dump. Traders themselves are not the major factor that make the price swing but other factor like demands, rumour that could affect selling or buying activities and many more. But, the highest the market volume, the more money needed to make market swing. It's not like the amount of traders and holders not giving any impact at all to the market its just not really the major factor playing here.
