Huobi breaks $605  Grin

$12 ahead of stamp

bitstamp about to break 600

Not even close to enough momentum on stamp for that unfortunately. Only like 1k reduction to the 600 wall by buying, another 2k pulled*. 2k left.

*Pulled back to ~$620

Wow, big sales yesterday. Interesting. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.

Someone ate our bidwall Sad

Once 550 gets into the 6k-8k bid depth, it will be a strong signal
Bid depth is still at a near all time low on bitstamp. It continues getting worse every week; and the asks continue to rise.

300btc bid @ 585.3 Smiley

BUY@580$ - SELL @ 582,49
REPEAT
MAX PROFIT!

Is that enough to cover fees?

Sold into our pulled at the start of this chart? (The bids)

Impressive depth on Huobi

You can say that again. With the liquidity on Huobi, there is no reason for me to look at any other exchange for analysis. Nobody can move the market if Huobo won't let them.

BTW, where is that screenshot from? At first, thought it was Bitcoinity, but...

Coinorama.net

Ask walls on huobi (totaling over 3k) removed Smiley

1131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 05, 2014, 11:31:28 PM
I agree it can go either way, but those 5k bids are all on $2.60 of spread.. the 5k of asks are across $9.70

Plus there is an 8k bidwall on 3450-3400 (no idea what is beyond 3700)

Exactly. There's a big difference between having your bids dumped into and refilling them twice near spread, and setting asks $10 above spread.

Right?
I dont think I understand what you're saying.

1) Sellers dumped through 3600 bids. Bids refilled right near bid/ask spread (suggesting the bidder wants them filled)
2) Sellers dumped through 3600 bids again. Bids refilled again.
3) Ask walls placed 80-100 CNY above spread (suggesting the seller does not want them filled)

One side is very obviously accumulating. The other side may just be trying to manipulate price down. In fact, they may be one and the same party, if this bidder is serious about getting filled.

Ah, I thought you were saying the bids were just people trying to sell the coins for a 2% profit Tongue

Impressive depth on Huobi

1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 04, 2014, 05:22:02 AM
The bigger the wall the harder they fall!

Bad thing is the people putting up these wall know exactly how much money is on the exchange and as soon as their wall starts to get nibbled they take it down and run like little bitches. I wish someone would just market buy the whole damn thing. But seeing as that rarely happens makes me think the walls are extremely fake and only put there to keep the price low so they can buy OTC from miners on contract. Why the miners put up with being manipulated is beyond me.

I have a plan that if I ever win the lottery I will just market buy 30 million across exchanges when I see big walls just to fuck the manipulators over, slippage be damned.

Yeah, I'm bitter, so what?

BINGO. Someone with level head.

That market is being manipulated. Its even easy to see they sold to their own buy order.

I havent seen a single fake ask wall on Bitstamp or BFX in awhile. They exist on Huobi/OKcoin but the reverse is also really common there. The walls are real.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Mt.Gox....No Willy bot....No moon! on: August 04, 2014, 01:41:15 AM
If Willy was a MASSIVE influence on the price what's to stop someone doing the same thing again with a different bot on a different exchange, or multiple exchanges?

Uh, because it would be illegal?
1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 03, 2014, 06:28:50 PM
7m bidsum on bit stamp. Must be the lowest since around April last year?
1138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 03, 2014, 04:55:28 AM
So, has that 200m investment started yet? I want to see another bubble Sad

Without good news, the exchanges are all preparing for a huge dive.
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Mt.Gox....No Willy bot....No moon! on: August 03, 2014, 04:47:12 AM
amazing how persistent such made up BS stories like willy bot can be.

Get it clear in your head ---- THERE WAS NO WILLY BOT

more then 1000 bots been trading on gox at any given moment. Because bots strategies are similar and on set time can the same too, it may for some outsider observation appears like one bot.

Right, all those trades on accounts with the same amount of USD, with missing information in the database.. are totally unrelated.  Roll Eyes

1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Mt.Gox....No Willy bot....No moon! on: August 03, 2014, 04:27:33 AM
Its funny and sad that people refuse to believe that Willy was a MASSIVE influence on the price, and without it the bubbles would not have occurred.

Going up 2x in a year is not the same as going up 10x in a week.
