1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin to give ridiculous pumping?? on: January 25, 2023, 12:43:25 PM
Will there be another alt coin that has given ridiculous pumping like Dogecoin in the future?
Tell me what you think.
I will tell you that - I don't know.
We can make assumptions but most of the time they went wrong. Perhaps, we never know what exactly will happen a few years from now as we can expect a lot of changes when the Bullrun comes. Of course, we can expect more unexpected rise rallies in the future but to point out which project, knowing it is really impossible. If you are looking for them, I would say to choose and risk your money in investing hypes projects but don't ever regrets if you get scam and lose your money as they are very known to that thing.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 25, 2023, 11:45:26 AM
Lakers and Clippers game was interesting. Clippers played well in this game. The problem for the Lakers was only LeBron James the player who played exceptionally well and almost dropped a 50 bomb in this game. But it was a team effort from the Clippers. If LeBron James had a little help from his team, I think this game could have been a lot closer.

I bet he missed the old times when he is getting some help from Wade and others because they were unstoppable at that time and easily get to the NBA playoffs. Now they are having a hard time as if they are not gonna make it to the top 10. Whenever they win straight, they also lose some games in the future. Maybe it will gonna change when AD will play back and they really need to change their game if they want to be in the playoffs this season because their spot has not been changed at all since the start of the season.

Clippers have a good line up now, a healthy PG and Leonard will definitely have a chance to be in the Finals. Actually, even with Lebron and AD playing together, I think the Clippers are still good overall as a team. Lebron has been carrying the Lakers when Davis was injured, but against a good team like the Clippers, I guess his effort would never be enough.

Bryant and Schroder are very limited, these two if playing well usually make the Lakers better, but  Schroder only has 7 points in this game. While on the Clippers team, the points are spread properly, both Leonard and Paul George have good contributions, and you can also tell that the defense of the Lakers are ineffective because the clippers are shoots 61% while the Lakers only shoots 44%.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 25, 2023, 11:25:58 AM

I am losing interest in the Grizzlies as well. Ja Morant is acting too much for someone who has not achieved anything yet in the league. They are still a good team just a bit inconsistent and too much talk.

If they continued on like this I think there will be many fans that will be disappointed with their performance, Ja "Almost" Morant doesn't have great stats right now and has been missing some of the crucial games they need and with the recent Sacramento Kings game I think they truly busted their winning percentage and right now when bettors seeing the Memphis Grizzlies names they are already sure that it will be another losing streak for the Memphis Grizzlies,
A 3 game losing streak after an 11 game winning streak.
I don't expect the Grizzlies to play like this in their future games.

What I don't like with them is that, they are acting like they achieve something already like @jakelyson said. TBH, they're the same as the Suns who are acting tough in the league and yet, they can't even win a title. The Grizzlies even trash talked the Warriors last season and look where they ended up. Even that Brooks is acting tough and trash talking on different players, but he achieved nothing as of this moment.

On their game against Sacramento, Morant didn't play and his impact on the team is too much that you can feel it once he isn't playing. Their next game will be against the Warriors on the road. The Warriors are 17-6 on their home against the Grizzlies who is 11-13 on the road. I'm having a feeling that they might lose again. :X

They are playing on the road if I'm not mistaken that's why they had problems facing those home court teams. Yes, it has backfired on them bigtime now, with how they act, even Shannon Sharpe is at it as well. They can't take what Grizzlies is saying, dynasties etc when they haven't win a ring yet.

And then the big mouth leader of them, yeah, high lights dunks and stuff, but unless you are not winning a ring, you need to be respectful.

That's why they will never win a championship because they are very disrespectful, they think they are the best team but their stats say their real standing. I'm also thinking that they will never win a WCF case they'll be lucky to be in that stage because most likely the Warriors or the Nuggets will slay them.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 24, 2023, 12:54:36 PM
Might be harsh to judge the future of these projects but I guess we have also to think about what these projects can do for us. In fact, they are not profitable in real but just a sort of art collection. Whether it will stay in the market but all I can say is that we can't make fortune from them. If we aim to make money from investing in crypto, we are supposed to look for projects that could really give us what we aim for, not just to spend and get nothing.
As long as we can never see any interesting development form them, it won't encourage investors as well to invest with them.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 24, 2023, 10:47:07 AM
LOL.. anyone listened to the comments from Timothy Bradley Jr.? He accused Errol Spence of running away from a fight with Terrence Crawford. Now with Spence moving up a weight class, this fight will never take place.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_x2VF1-q6Q

I don't necessarily agree with the rant from Bradley. But there is no question that 147 lb is the toughest division out there. Even after the departure of Spence and Thurman, this division now consists of Jaron Ennis, Terence Crawford, Conor Benn and Yordenis Ugas. Now compared to this, 154 looks like kindergarten class.

I have the same observation with Bradley, I really thought that Spence is dodging Crawford because he knows he might lose in the fight. Crawford is way more faster and than him, and both of them have power to KO their opponent, so Spence probably have calculated his chance, he is so practical but it's not good for the fans as he is a champion and yet does not want to have that undisputed fight.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 23, 2023, 11:56:48 AM
His trainers would have definitely advise him on what he must do but yeah, during weigh ins there's still some boxers that do have problem on the actual day.
But on his case, he's been a world champion and has gone through a lot of fights and with this small adjustment, he'll for sure will be good when the weighing in day comes.

They are moving up the weight division, so definitely, his camp knows what they are going into.
They won't decide on this matter if they knew Inoue would have hard time catching up on this weight class.
As it is only 4lbs, would not be difficult for him. So my guess is that Inoue can easily achieve and train on this weight.
Right now, the early odds are favoring Inoue with some of the bookmakers giving him at 1.41.
Though it is too early, but I believe bookie will indeed favor on Inoue for this match.
It's only a few pounds away so the adjustments will be easy on them. And as there's no more challenge on the former division that he's been reigning and dominating, this is a good movement for his further career. It's a wise decision for him and his team to get into this upgrade.
The odds may be in favor of him because the crowd knows how this monster fight. Well, the odds may change as the fight approaches but I think that it won't change a lot and that will definitely close to one and favoring Inoue. So, money on the line and if you guys think that Fulton got what it takes to beat Inoue, think of it and there's an ample time to think of.

Even the bookies understand the real chance of Inoue this fight. Even if the crowd will root for him but he is not really that good, sure he will not be the favorite because he is just a challenger. Now, we will see another success coming for Inoue, and if he wins I'm hoping it will be another KO.

Bookies major basis is making a betting odds are how the fans see the game. Here, despite  Stephen Fulton is the champion, still Inoue is a more popular because he already cemented his name when he become an undisputed bantamweight champion,  and not only that win but most importantly the manner on how he won those fights.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 23, 2023, 11:17:30 AM

Though it's understandable they needed to adjust if they wanted to win the game, looking to see a balance matchup as the 2nd game Bolick-less NP are not capable to hold the whole Converge lineup.

They are lost in that game, the ball movement is a pain in the eyes. Also, their import is forcing to drive the ball that's why he becomes so predictable, it would be good for the team if there was a good contribution from the locals because that will make their attack less predictable.

Without Bollick, this team will once again struggle and will not reach in the elimination.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 20, 2023, 12:52:04 PM
Let's move forward, we have plenty of games tomorrow to choose from.
I know betting early is not a good idea, but I will make an exception this time as I have an early errands tomorrow.

Jazz -6.5 - They have the momentum now, Nets are not the same team without Durant, so they are not different to a team they dominated which was the Clippers that visited them without Leonard and PG.

GS Warriors ML - I will be a little ambitious here, although this team will be playing a back to back game but I understand that they are desperate to win on the road. it's going to be the Size of the Warriors that will give them a win if they will be able to have a great shooting.

LA Lakers +7 - I think Memphis are just overrated, I won't be surprise if the Lakers will even win at home.
1129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 20, 2023, 10:37:04 AM

What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?

Trading is not gambling, but for beginners, without knowledge, it is no different from gambling. It can be said that trading is an extremely difficult job and not for everyone.
I believe that all traders, no matter how experienced they are, lose a lot of money before they become professional, so my only advice to newbies is: let's use the money we can lose and start with the smallest possible capital, since the probability of losing is almost 100%, limit that loss in as many ways as possible.
Honestly, I started trading with almost nothing, I only know the basics but based on my experience it was not really good enough to earn a profit from this. It really need to know trading tools that could help us and most of all, we have to enhance our Technical analysis cause this will affect our decision-making. Poor technical knowledge will send you to losing and this is usually happening to newbies (and even me before). We can only guarantee profit once we improve our knowledge and skill, and most of all by controlling our emotions.
1130  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 20, 2023, 09:59:43 AM
You can't expect bitcoin to go straight to 30k or 50k without any correction, even during the bull season, bitcoin will still correct a few times for stronger upside momentum. I don't predict that we are in a bull season, so if bitcoin goes down, I wouldn't be surprised either. But if you are expecting bitcoin to continue to rise, then you need not worry with such a drop of only a few %. In the short term, I think bitcoin will still rise and then fall again.
What you say makes a lot of sense because a slight correction for more increases has also occurred in the past, so it is also very possible that this year Bitcoin will correct in the short term before experiencing a much larger increase than the correction . And usually this moment is also very often used by investors to buy back before the next increase occurs in Bitcoin in the same year. I personally am still very optimistic about Bitcoin and will never doubt even if Bitcoin is being corrected.
This is what we called market fluctuation and it really happens always. But from what I can see, people have been crazy to sell their Bitcoin with these few increases which is why we now seeing a decline in the price of Bitcoin. In this kind of behavior, we can't expect a great start this year or even a recovery knowing that most of the investors now are impatient. Even though we can say they are optimistic, yet they are still doubtful with Bitcoin which is very hard for them to wait for the Bullrun rather than selling when there is a few pumps.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: January 19, 2023, 09:53:05 PM
In my opinion, the price of Ethereum will not fall below $ 1000, because it has been proven that $ 1000 is the strongest support since last July 2022,
and currently it is still above $ 1000, so we don't need to worry about Ethereum, even though Ethereum has changed from PoW to PoS I'm sure there will be more interesting things in the future,
hopefully it will give a surprise so that the Ethereum ecosystem will be back to glory again.

We can't assure of that but because of its current market performance, we can say that ETH has been stable above $1000. We can't leave that kind of confidence since we are still in a bearish state, the market is volatile and prices may change as well but if the price of Bitcoin stays at its current level, it is likely possible to keep ETH high. Only we can do is to give hope and looking forward that ETH investors will never dump their coins together so the chance to moving it down is very slim.
1132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trading strategy becomes obsolete? on: January 19, 2023, 09:26:18 PM
The whole market keeps on moving depending on how traders buy and sell. If there's only one or two strategy to trade in the market, then the whole market won't be moving at all, or moving towards only one direction. And people will create some new strategy to overcome the situation. From my point of view, nothing becomes obsolete in crypto market. If so then no one will be making loss or profits. Different people use different strategies based on the market situation they are in.
Any trader can create their own strategy depending on the market situation. There's no uniform strategy for everyone and I guess that's one of the reasons why the market remains volatile. Trading strategies will not be obsolete. It could change depending on the situation but people will still use and apply it. New strategies exist each day as traders discover their trading techniques and they will surely continuously develop in time.
It is very important to adapt to the situation and develop new strategies for this will become effective. Yes, it will vary depending on the market situation that is why we also have to analyze the market so well and take action fit to the situation. Maybe people say it was obsolete because they are losing but the reason is that they are using those strategies in the wrong way and in the wrong time. Old strategies will remain useful but of course, we need also to create another one that can be more effective as the market has changed.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 19, 2023, 11:54:23 AM

Finally, we don't need to worry anymore that this fight was only pure hype. Now, it is already official as they already signed a contract, so let's all be excited for one of the biggest fight this year. Maybe they are starting to train now, getting in shape, and hoping they'll be 100% in the actual fight.

I'm looking at the poll result now, there's more voters favored Davis to win, well, I'm on the other side.  Smiley

I consider this a legacy fight between the two fighters, before this coming fight there are no boxers on each other resume that match the power and skill of both fighters, hopefully, this will be the start of a blockbuster year in boxing, where undefeated champions with equal skills fight each other regardless of their promotions.
This fight will not happen if Mayweather is still the manager of Tank, he did the right thing in getting rid of Mayweather who just wants to milk Tank by fighting low-level fighters.

He cares for his legacy that's why he leaves Mayweather, pushing his limit and fighting a fighter that people think has a chance of beating him. I like if all boxers who have the same standing as Davis will do the same, imagine how happy the fans will be as they will be getting the best value of their money.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 19, 2023, 11:08:02 AM

Fajardo? As long as he is dominant, they will not trade him. Under the table? There is a high chance that it is happening, but we don't have any evidences and the only thing that we have is theories.
Exactly, Fajardo is 33 years old, and I think that is still young. Most of the players that are traded are not in the center position, Look at Hugnatan and Reavis, they are already 40 years old or over, but they are still playing with the team, and we all know that Fajardo is better then them.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 18, 2023, 09:51:12 PM
HODLING forever is silly, what’s the point HODLING if you can’t enjoy some of your profits & be rewarded for your ultimate patience & dedication. It’s tough during a bear market but I would never advocate selling then. That is your time to buy.

You should sell some when we are riding highs & in a bull market. Don’t sell & waste it though, put money down for a house, pay off debt. Do not buy deprecative assets. Be smart, I wish you good luck.
I often hold them during the bear season but sell them when I already gain profit. Perhaps, it was not enjoyable anymore if we keep holding the whole life.
They are just an option as an investor but for me, I preferred not to hold always but rather take some time to sell. In this way, I was still able to earn some profit despite the bearing situation, in fact, having $100 in a month of doing this is not possible and it was a big help to our daily needs. We take every opportunity to earn which somehow could be missed when we are just holding.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana takes back top 10 position on: January 18, 2023, 09:31:57 PM
This is another story of Solana after some issues in the past, I think the supporters are building up high again. But we couldn't assure that the current momentum will keep that straight long, this can be temporary the same thing might happen to other coins. We are still in the bear market, we couldn't assume that the price will soar high like a bullish market, we'd rather not be confident enough about what we have seen.
Yes, it was a great deal for Solana holders but for those who have not, I would suggest analyzing the market firs before buying this coin.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 18, 2023, 01:06:32 PM
Finally, the last obstruction to make this happen is cleared as Dela Hoya posted on social media the contract of the Ryan - Davis fight, so glad that they did not make this another Spence - Crawford scenario, this is the biggest fight coming in April I'm eager to see their press conference and their face off and what they are going to say to each other.

Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia deal appears done, De La Hoya shows off contract

Glad that finally they have made the first step to make this fight happen but I think this is not the last obstruction as Tank Davis will be facing trial in February if my memory serves me right and per report, the chance of being imprisoned for six months to one year is very likely so if that happens, this fight will be scrapped or postponed to another date.

Ok so we are good to go now, at least it didn't turn out to be another Spence and Crawford debacle wherein we thought that the fight is already 100% until in the last minute wherein there is no actual contract and Crawford point the gun to the camp of Spence as the one who doesn't want the fight to happen.

Only thing that will postponed this fight is Davis court hearing, but let's see. Hopefully the judge will allow him to fight Ryan Garcia first before handling any prison sentence if there is such a case against Tank hit and run.

Finally, we don't need to worry anymore that this fight was only pure hype. Now, it is already official as they already signed a contract, so let's all be excited for one of the biggest fight this year. Maybe they are starting to train now, getting in shape, and hoping they'll be 100% in the actual fight.

1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 18, 2023, 12:43:58 PM
Before rebuilding they can taste another play-off run with Bron, maybe one last time.

That's what the Lakers fans want to see even though the chances are kind of slim at the moment. But who knows as long as the Lakers are trying their best to remain alive in getting this year's playoff spot regardless if they will play on the play-in or not.

LeBron James' possibly achieving one of the toughest records in the league which is becoming the number 1 in NBA All-time Scoring leaders + Lakers competing in the playoffs will be a sweet achievement for the Lakers this season.

Anthony Davis might come back with a few games before the All-Star or early February as far as some rumor about his status is concerned.

Maybe when Davis comes back, there chances are going to skyrocket to make the playoffs. Hopefully when Davis goes back, it will not be too late for him. Although they are losing games, it's very close one and it could go either way. And it seems that the whole Lakers is somewhat getting their second wind as they are playing very high level with James and Westbrook and some of their role players.

So let's wait when is AD going to be back and hopefully he will be healthy throughout after the All Star break. He is one key figure with the Lakers, and he will have to play the second half of the regular season to stay alive their hopes of getting into another playoff together.

He will surely be back soon, the is continuously supporting his teammates although he can't play at the moment. And honestly, I like how Lebron is carrying his team, I know he is used to this so he really sees the urgency and as much as possible, they want to be in the playoffs. Also, Westbrook is getting better, so they'll surely get better with Davis coming back.
1139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 17, 2023, 09:41:26 PM
No one knows for sure when the bull market will come, although in recent weeks the market has been seen crawling up slowly but the current increase does not mean that the bear market will end, maybe this is just a fortress trap,
This what it makes really that hard to deal and guess with on which there's no way we could really be able to determine whether we are on the bottom now or not.
It is like this. What is usually a sign that the market will actually bullrun is when it has passed the Bitcoin halving. Whereas in this bearish phase, we haven't passed the halving yet, right? So I don't think this is the beginning of a bull run. This may be a temporary increase that will not be too significant. I am sure there will be another market correction later and there will be a positive trend again. This cycle will continue to repeat. that's why we should be more understanding, wise, and also precise when we want to invest. that is, when there is a decline, then we can use Dca as exemplified by many people. Instead of buying when it starts to rise.
DCA is the best option in this kind of market. Whether the current situation is temporary or not, at least we know that the market will never stay at dip but also have the chance to rise. As we beat the $20,000 for Bitcoin, it certainly gives us hope that Bullrun is not impossible and this is to correct those who think the market will collapse.
Yes, Bullrun always happen after halving, so buying now is still safe unless we are buying useless altcoins.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 17, 2023, 06:55:33 AM
For bettors, the spread is -6.5, are you willing to risk on that?

The Lakers are coming from a back-to-back game and are 19-23 against the spread. so I do not think it is good idea to bet on that line.

It turns out it was a good idea after all because they were able to cover the spread, however, it wasn't easy as the Rockets does not give up easily. Good win by the Lakers and Lebron carried the team heavily.

Now this season, they are at the top spot and all of their key players are healthy and at the same time, they have a deep bench as well. KCP, Hyland, Gordon, Brown, and Jordan as their 2nd big. If their key players will not be injured all throughout the whole regular season, I believe they will play better than what they performed 2 years ago. We might see them going to the Conference Finals at least but like you said, the Western Conference is full of really good teams and the battle is fierce.
They have a decent chance of winning the championship, but of course, they need to be healthy in order to do that.

Nuggets is not yet the favorites, so there's a good value if we will bet on them now.
