1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Money From a Debit Card to a Bitcoin Address on: August 13, 2023, 11:43:35 PM
Can someone explain how to send money from a debit card to a Bitcoin address without having to create a Bitcoin wallet? What is the easiest and quickest way to do this? Huh
There's no things about what you are looking for.

When it comes to debit card to bitcoin wallet not bitcoin address.

Make an exchange account that has service that accept debit card deposit to buy bitcoin, then send bitcoin to bitcoin wallet.

Read more again about how sending or receiving bitcoin works, and how buying bitcoin works too.
1142  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: any reivew about escrow service bitify.com on: August 13, 2023, 10:05:35 PM
They are the most recommended escrows outside bitcointalk but there are cases of shitty work and open scam accusations against them. So i still be very careful dealing transactions inside their platform.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi revealed his identity... on: August 13, 2023, 04:26:56 PM
Would the US authorities put him in prison?
Or would he win the Nobel Prize in Economics?
Or both options?  Grin
Why they will? As if not many business benefits of his creation, also just like other said altcoin creators are still there and wasn't imprisoned. Even the creator of monero which is a privacy coin that many uses for alleged crimes is still there and was employed on some company.

Satoshi getting a nobel prize is a huge possibility but it dont think will matter to him/her anymore.
So 4 years 'to? I guess di na need, technology is constantly changing , sa pinag aralan mo in 4 years baka pag graduate mo di na uso smart-contract or may bago na namang ways for like smart-contract sa crypto. Mas better pa rin ang mag take ng course either CS, CoE, or IT, to learn basic at fundamentals ng ibat ibang PL, data structures, etc. tapus tsaka na pumasok ng blockchain related tech, PL, etc. either self-study or if may subject related diyan sa AMA.
1145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone help me solve this cryptowaves.app mystery on: August 13, 2023, 03:45:40 PM
Hmmm I can still access the website.

Could you try to access from this link, see: https://www.cryptowaves.app/

I found that simply typing in cryptowaves.app doesn't work for me. I think I may have used the link from their twitter account on my 3rd try.
Great it worked when there is a prefix "www" in the URL. Their dev should just use redirection to the URL with "www" to avoid getting this error and to avoid lossing their potential users. It's easy to config for www redirection though.
1146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone help me solve this cryptowaves.app mystery on: August 13, 2023, 03:26:32 PM
I can't access it both using wifi and mobile data also using 3 different browsers. But its up on isitdownrightnow.com[1] the same on isitdownorjust.me[2] as of the time of writing. I dont know what's wrong too lmao.

If you're a regular consumer sa isang grocery store or any kind of stores, mapa public market man or sa ibang malls, or whole saler stores mapapansin mo talaga na tumaas lahat ng bilihin. Yung pag sapit ng pandemic okay pa, pili lang ying indemand lang talaga tumaas n'on like alcohol everything na sanity purposes. Nagging worst lang n'ong nagka war between RUS and UKR, pag taas ng gasolina/crudo sa bay taas halos lahat ng bilihin kasr affected dahil sa transport fees. Tapus badtrip, iilan lang ang increase ng sahod, worst kase sa regional rates as if talaga na di affected yung ibang probinsiya sa inflation.
1148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal Just Announced Plans to Launch a USD Stablecoin - Thoughts? on: August 12, 2023, 11:38:04 PM
It's just another stablecoin hype, i don't think it will be used by many   when there are already existing ways to transfer fiat money online. Why fiat, i consider stablecoins as fiat in cryptocurrency form since its centralized. And talking about fees, it will be a hell of fees to transfer sooner when the whole eth blockchain is congested which regularly to happen.
1149  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hal Finney's Last Post on Bitcointalk on: August 12, 2023, 10:54:56 PM
Hal Finney for me is the satoshi.
So does that mean Hal is talking to himself when he invite himself to join the development of bitcoin at early stage?
Obviously, the two are different, check his story[1] of meeting and exchanging words with satoshi online.

1150  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Failed to submit review and also did not refund the payment. on: August 12, 2023, 10:50:37 PM
What I see is that payment was made upfront. I don't know if this is usual or what because I have never participated in review but I suppose that if the payment was made after submitting a satisfactory review instead of upfront, this wouldn't have happened. However, I understand that maybe the payment was made this way for simplicity and convenience.

....

The project had good intentions so that participants wouldn't complain about not having funds to pay for the review service. It's just so sad that someone out there decided to use that to their own advantage by scamming the $90.
Paying upfront a way to encourage the quality poster users to participate with a risk since getting tagged and refunding the payment is mentioned on the rules if failed to review and/or if the review is not accepted by the manager. Reading such rules will filter already those who are capable of doing it, plus the experience if the manager to picked its participants. But unfortunately, things happens and was never come back online to explain his side if he really got problems irl including internet connections. But until then, these negative tags and flag will serve its purpose.
1151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet suspended my account on: August 12, 2023, 10:36:54 PM
Main problem is that just block customers with all their coins and tokens. Not all custodial wallets are making such things.
But all custodial wallet are capable of doing that, the percentage of possibility that it will happen is too high in custodial wallets. Even the team isn't behind on such things, hacking the wallet will cause much damage as well when using a custodial wallet which everyone should be aware of. That's why an open-source non-custodial wallet is the most recommended place to store bitcoin, with good practice of using it.
1152  Other / Meta / Re: Whats your take on adding 2FA key as a Bitcointalk account security features. on: August 12, 2023, 04:23:33 PM
I never thought of that maybe I was thinking password is only limited to 8 to 12 characters,  though you are right I don't see any reason of constantly changing password if someone already choose a solid one that could not be easily accessible by someone.
I do have that kind of passwords, a combination of familiar words and numbers but not random characters coz it's way too difficult to remember, you will end up resetting your password again lmao.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: I'm Looking for android wallet with taproot, ledger and connecting to my node. on: August 11, 2023, 11:33:08 PM
Can't find any android wallet that has feature of custom connect to other nodes much more to a bitcoin code node. Can't find one also with a taproot with ledger feature, if you mean connecting to the ledger hardware wallet.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 11, 2023, 11:14:15 PM
I see i didn't reply to this thread yet, as for that question. It's a yes and no answer, why? It's gambling.
If you have larger balance or large gambling money like say 10k balance or up, betting 100 bucks a day is easy and you won't feel any pressure lossing once to twice. You just need to bet something you are at least 51% sure to win, say sports betting. Don't ask me how to win in sports betting because no one can predict a game without checking the players behind, their previous games, and that's what you should do, but of course there are still called "upset" in sports so be wary for that.
Transfer from PP to banks or vice-versa. About sa trading side i don't think it will be possible kase diyan papasok magiging stricto ang SEC and other governing bodies sa finance sector baka matulad pa sila sa mga current stablecoins pero lets see parin.

Worst pa since blockchain is public makikita details ng transfer mo, pero depende yan if public or private ledger gagamitin nila.

Pero since may instapay na which you can transfer local banks to other banks is parang di ko need na ang ganyang features, since controlled din naman nila. Mas magiging advantage lang ang CBDC sa government side not to users for privacy-wise, business-wise possible na malulugi ang mga banks.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as good store for value on: August 11, 2023, 10:30:24 PM
The comparison is way-off useless.

Bitcoin is a store of value,  it can converted from one currency to another without losing any value.
Tell me you don't understand bitcoin without telling it, huh. Have you ever exchange bitcoin to another currency? Or you just read/heard this bitcoin maximalist statement somewhere else? Bitcoin is too volatile it changes its value anytime even before you exchange it
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: August 10, 2023, 10:46:30 PM
The OP asked this question/posted since june, yet we still have almost the same range now in august which means it really become stable. I don't think the barrier will break anytime soon unless some big good news happened or the other way around. But usually ber months always do the uward trend, i'm not saying it always the same, and it will be this time but i hope it will.
1159  Other / Meta / Re: What’s the real use of this forum feature? on: August 10, 2023, 10:36:05 PM
I just notice that if you will click the icon, It will display the thread that received a reply for today but I became confused on its real feature because it doesn't show some of the thread that received today post.

FYI, The icon will gray out when you scan all the thread that has a today replies on the thread. Anyone using here this feature in the forum?
It doesn't show threads that you already read (after visiting the thread) after having new replies, and that's the reason why it gray out, which means there's nothing for you to read on that particular board on that particular time.

I usually didn't use it and i prefer using the Show unread posts since last visit.. Actually, it's more like the same but just in particular board.
1160  Other / Meta / Re: Whats your take on adding 2FA key as a Bitcointalk account security features. on: August 10, 2023, 10:21:20 PM
... I don't  think Theymos has the intention of implementing 2FA authentication in this forum anytime soon.
He is, and theymos already give a thumbs up on what PowerGlove is creating[1], it will be up anytime soon actually. But let's see until theymos implement it successfully coz it's something a pain in the as merging to the current forum.
