121  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naranasan Nyo Na Ba Na Masisi Dahil Sa Cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2024, 10:46:05 PM
Danas ko to few years back.

122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 18, 2024, 01:15:33 PM
Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?
Gambling is a game of luck and quite risky (as you've said). But it's not an investment, so it's not the right term when you're spending your money in gambling. If that's your mindset (treating it as a kind of investment for spending your money) you're putting your funds at risk just because you're hoping to gain for playing. Although that's possible of course but the chances are low due to house edge.

Therefore, it's only worth it to risk your money if your main desire is not really to gain but more on to entertain yourself. Thus be aware of the consequences before playing.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do big time traders or investors do for fun while waiting? on: March 18, 2024, 10:21:43 AM
Well, i'm not a whale trader/investor but I can share what I usually do while waiting for the result of my trade. Since I also have a day job, I just trade as my side hustle hence i'm not the type who often monitor the market. Still focus to what I used to do and have a set time on when to check my trades.

Anyway, I just recently return back as a trader due to the good market condition. This is usually the case everytime bull run seems approaching, traders are becoming active.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 17, 2024, 12:12:01 AM
I find this unusual and weird I live in a country where gambling is legal there are lotto outletss in every corner, there are horse racing betting outlet and there are online betting station that originates in our country and yet there is a pending bill that if you're going to post or talk about gambling you'll likely going to get fine of 500k pesos or $90k and you will also land in jail.

So if you post that you won in horse racing or you post the winning bets in daily lottery you will likely get charged and penalize, so what do you think of this law, is this right?
Probably it's because of the influencers promoting gambling. They have many followers idolizing them especially the minors who are already exposed in social media. Many of these popular personality are now promoting gambling which is not really a good influence to many. Thus, it's not surprising if the Government will prohibit gambling promotions online.

Although it seems not fair since there are also physical gambling (like lotteries) wherein many people are exposed regardless of the age thus there's no difference really.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 15, 2024, 11:55:36 PM
As gambler when last did you self-examine your gambling habit to create that awareness based on how you are gambling in order for you to be quite sure if you're within a considerable or an acceptable range of a gambling habit that is void of addiction or the tendencies of gambling addiction.
It's been a while since I last gamble. I became busy due to work so I didn't have much time to play. Moreover, because of the price increase of Bitcoin, I also refrain myself not to spend it so I can gain more if ever the price continue to soar high. Anyway, it's really crucial to examine ourselves to know if we're still playing in moderation or maybe we're already exceeding on our set limit. Because we can prevent ourselves becoming addicted if we have discipline and aware of the limitation everytime we gamble.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 15, 2024, 01:42:12 AM
For long have been around here seems like people who belongs to this world think much of investment than savings while the real world focuses more on savings but if I could recall correctly, any money in savings doesn't yield and add to the account while investment is what gives us money or profits at every end of the day week or month irrespective of how little it could be it's better to have investment than savings.

What do you think?
I agree. Investing is better rather than keeping your money in banks as savings. There's an annual interest but it doesn't make you rich since it's quite low, hence not worth it. Although it's not really bad to have savings (of course it is still crucial) however, if your goal is to gain more money and if you want money to work for you, then investing is the answer.

But many people nowadays prefer to just keep their money just to be safe on scam and afraid to take risk. There's nothing wrong with that however if that is your mindset towards investing, there's no chance to gain more since saving doesn't generate profit.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: March 14, 2024, 10:52:10 PM
I have high expectations that bitcoin will reach 100k but will it reach 100k without any major decline in price? Does it seem realistic that from 70k, bitcoin will continuously rise up?
$100k is possible to reach, but too early to say for now. As the price after reaching the new ath had a correction (though it's just moving in range of $70k - $72k). Many of us are bullish that the price can go higher than what it was currently and it might happen after bull run. Well, only time can tell because anything is still possible.

Anyway, it's better to be prepared and focus on how you can take advantage the price for your own benefit.
128  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Huwag magpadala sa at maging practical on: March 13, 2024, 10:43:12 PM

Basta may profit, maliit man o malaki ok na sakin yun.
129  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 12, 2024, 01:43:08 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.
Well, the question is why now? We have a sufficient time to accumulate during bearish season before and it is quite long to fill our bags. It's crucial to know on why these people (you're talking about) are interested just now the price is already rising. If their intention is to join the ride and don't want to miss the chance then their mindset can lead them to disappointment once the price move downward again. Because it's unpredictable and we can't really pin point when might the price fall after reaching another ATH.

Anyway, it's never too late to invest because it depends on us if we still want to buy even the price is already expensive. If you truly believe in Bitcoin and seeing yourself holding your Bitcoin for long term then that's a good mindset. Because it's important that you have knowledge of what you're getting into and not solely influence of hype as to why you decided to invest.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: March 12, 2024, 06:46:28 AM
This is the highest risk I have ever taken on gamble.  :)Why I called this the highest risk was because if the remaining 2 games lose I will be the loser and not my friend, so that risk was very terrible but I just have to take the risk because I already have in mind that you can not win if you do not risk. But to cut long story short, I win the bet, this was like sharing the money equally with my friend.
So have you ever taken such a risk on gambe before?
It's good that your money didn't go to waste since you are fortunate to win. Anyway regardless of the result, as long as you're prepared for it and you can accept the outcome (knowing that luck is a major factor to win) then you are a true risk taker. In my case, I never spend a huge amount just because I am confident to win.

Well, it's true that you can't gain anything if you didn't take risk but when it comes to gambling it's a different thing since gambling is risky and winning is not guaranteed. Therefore, when you gamble your money, have guts to face the worse case scenario because that's likely the result of your decision to take risk.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: March 10, 2024, 12:34:27 AM
From past few weeks whenever I open any browser or social media all I could see is some random blogs and news about Altcoins which will have massive pump and which coins I have to invest.
Actually this is quite common when the market is in bull season. Many coins are being hype to attract potential investors. This is not new, because even before, this kind of strategy is already existing. The reason why it is important to become careful not to easily believe these people spreading such on social media.

Thus always take time to have your own research about the coins that you want to invest in. Remember that there's no easy money so always verify if the information is true.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 08, 2024, 08:23:53 AM
When we are at Extreme Greed you need to be taking some profit off the table. Most people in crypto fail to keep the money they've made. They either sell too late or they selfishly watch all profits fall back to zero.
That's not unusual. Many of us tend to become greedy if we are not satisfied with our current profit, wanting to gain more. It's because of our greed and for not having contentment, believing waiting a bit is better. Well, there's nothing wrong to have such strategy because who don't want to gain huge, right? However, we need to be more wise to not let the opportunity to take profit passed by.

Anyway, we have different strategy as a trader/investor. Thus if you already experienced to have losses before, then you're aware now what you should do.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 08, 2024, 01:45:33 AM
So the question now is: What could really put a gambler in such a situation, addiction, or greediness?
Both addiction and greediness. Not being able to control himself to refrain from placing bets since he don't have money anymore shows that he is already addicted. This kind of scenario is not really surprising because they tend to do things that only addicted gamblers can do.

The greed to gain money in gambling is pushing someone to become an addicted gambler and continue playing. If you have this desire as your goal on why you gamble in the first place, it will likely result for you to become addicted since your main reason is not to entertain yourself. Many gamblers are still playing without control even there are plenty of reminders on how to gamble in moderation. We really can't force someone to do as we say.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 07, 2024, 03:22:34 AM
I don't  know why I kinda hate it when someone  talks about shit coin  Tongue they are shitty and will keep on representing  their name.
It's even more had to know which is scam currently as they are masking behind the bullish market luring investors to dumb them.

I also started holding  BTC some few months back when I joined this forum  I knew about shitcoins though but I never invest in them .
Happy for you mate ( keep your keys safe Grin)
It's a waste of time and money to invest in shitcoin. But probably many of us had an experienced investing in this kind of coin when we're just starting. Because of our greed to profit and just going with the flow on what's the current trend. But what matter is, we learned from the past experiences and we became aware of what coins are worthy to hold.

Anyway, Bitcoin is already soaring high. I bet many of us here bought during bearish season (as i'm one of them). This is a slap for investors who have doubt before, but now eager to invest because they already want to join the ride and don't want to miss the opportunity.

  • Buy and Hold

  • Buy Low, Sell High

  • Dollar Cost Averaging

Kaya dapat prepared tayo at may back up plan just incase.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: March 06, 2024, 01:44:59 PM
I am just saying so that when you win, you can as well save some money from your so profits and technical you are retrieving your losts hence you make some savings from your profits.
Majority of gamblers are losing their money. There might be few who are able to win a decent amount but we don't know how much they already spent in gambling before such win. Therefore if you are one of the lucky gambler who's given a chance to experienced it, be wise not to let the casino get it back from you.

My warning to you is that... Do not dare challenge the gambling Casino that you must make count of profits while on stakes else you would lost from your budgets and reputations.
Indeed. There's a house edge making the casino to have an advantage over gamblers. It's a business that will continue to operate when gamblers are losing money. Thus keep in mind that it's a game of luck so manage your time, money especially your emotion when you gamble. Don't expect to win and be prepared for having losses since that's likely to happen.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 06, 2024, 11:13:12 AM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?
This has been discussed many times. Don't chase losses and only use the money that you can live without. But many gamblers forget these reminders because they don't want others to mind their business or thinking they can handle themselves.

So before playing, keep in mind that gambling is a risky way if your intention is to gain money. Don't expect too much, just enjoy the game using a spare money. This is, if you don't want to follow the foot steps of those gamblers who became addicted because they have no self-control and discipline.
