What the fuck is going on with LTC on btc-e?

It appears that the number on the chart has decreased dramatically in just a few bars, what could trigger this?!

One buyer is very bullish.  It means the sale price was likely higher than most anticipated.
It means only that one buyer with deep pockets was less greedy than all the others.  They may all have bid at 475$, and he bid 460$  Grin

Its definitely possible, and that would be terrible news, but I think it should have sold for $675 minimum. For someone buying all 30k, that is major savings.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 01, 2014, 09:15:53 PM
And there is the sell wall. Which appears after every dump lately.

Edit: was removed right away.

It was touched twice already, I think LOL.

Why dont people who realized their stupid mistake buy it? Its like a slippage free way back in..

Something happen?

The 30k coins were sent to 1 winner. So now everybody totally completely fucking panics.

This is crazy. I bet this guy got them for <$675. Public auction would have sold a lot higher, I think.

Now, selling news? Not really. But its still somewhat disturbing, depending on what they went for ($800? Awesome, $700? Not so good)

Again, where is 30,000 coming from? They had 48,013 BTC of bids..

So, they had 16 bids.. (48,000 for 30,000 bitcoin)

I guess what matters here is wether or not the 20M includes the obvious 18,000 that didnt win (0% chance for them to win, before results were out). I dont see why it WOULDNT include that.

So, $20,000,000/48,000 = $416.67
The syndicate got 186 small bids totalling 48,000 BTC.  As you say, it would be silly to submit all of them to the USMS, so SecondMarket must have picked the ones with largest bid price, totalling the 29'600 BTC, and assembled from them a set of bids for the 9+1 lots on auction.

Is the 20 M$ figure real information?  From the comments following Alan Silbert's tweet, I understood that it was only his estimate, or at least he did not clearly admit that it was real.  Have there been any explicit leaks or claims by any bidders about the bid prices?

Not that I know of. I was just treating the rumors we had as fact Tongue

Regardless this rally is impressive!

the wall at 4.000 CNY
Oh. Interpreted that as a 4,000BTC WALL, not a wall at 4,000CNY Tongue

Where are they getting 30,000 from? They bid 46,000BTC for an average price of $416..

1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 30, 2014, 08:12:21 PM
The fact that the second market syndicate bidders which comprised smaller scale bidders who would be more likely looking for a discount than worried about "slippage"  were all outbid confirms that the winning bids were at or above market value.
Source?

I was out from last 24 hours and wasn't able to connect to internet..! when I came back the first thing i checked it market as I was expecting some uptrend..! and I'm glad that happened..! we will go above 700$ by the end of this month thats what I predicted day before yesterday and things looking good for that as of now ..!

Its still June here buddy, are we talking about the same month?  Tongue
