Sachant que changer l'algo est quasi instantané (hors discussions sur le successeur et hors clients alternatifs)
1242  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.51 on: November 25, 2013, 05:08:03 PM
Also, being able to automatically GPG sign messages would be nice. Smiley
That's something I considered but I finally thought that nobody would trust a userscript for any cryptography use
It's javascript, so everybody can checkout the source (I occasionally check the script for suspicious stuff, haha). That is why I don't see a reason to not do it.
Another problem is the implementation. I know that I can include external scripts but I really like the script being dependency-free. GPG will likely require a solid library though.
Otherwise I could ask for a passphrase and get a Bitcoin address from it, that would be used to sign/encrypt messages.
Give me your thoughts, hopefully we will find a compromise.

BTW that's great someone is checking the code!
Tell me if anything is unclear, I know that my code can be pretty obscure (even for me sometimes)

If there is some demand I can look at what can be done though
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [Data Recovery Problem] Recovering many Wallet.dat from repartitioned Hard drive on: November 25, 2013, 04:48:36 PM
There is no addresses in the wallet files, there are only private and public keys (which do not contain '1' or 'W') so there is no difference between a Bitcoin wallet and a Litecoin one
I'm really interested in your recovered .dat files to see what could cause the problem
If you're OK with that, consider sending the bit/altcoins it contains to other addresses first

Maybe I'm wrong and I forget some settings that must contain an address, but even if it's the case your altcoin private keys must have been recovered
1245  Other / Meta / Re: Posting GIF on: November 25, 2013, 04:07:15 PM
The collateral damage from this proxy is PERHAPS worse than the alleged attacks
Well... Broken gifs/images are not really as damaging as tracking IPs through PMs
1246  Other / Meta / Re: Posting GIF on: November 25, 2013, 03:48:04 PM
Animated GIFs are broken by the proxy used to increase privacy
You better post them as links until it's fixed
1247  Economy / Services / Re: Earn upto 0.6 BTC per month for your signature! on: November 25, 2013, 02:58:21 PM
This promote provides more competitive payments over Prime Dice only if you make more than 500 posts/month!

I really hope that OP wants to create a nice business and that he is legit and all, but imo it's not worth the risk.

If he can provide better payments for the low post counts, to compensate for the risk i 'll consider it.

And by better i mean something like:
50-100:    0.03 BTC 0.04 BTC
101-250:   0.06 BTC 0.08 BTC
251-500:   0.12 BTC 0.15 BTC

What do you think bitsplay.ga?
I think you should read the OP again

So what's the rule?

If someone lose how can he know the result?
Yes, the day after the bet
1250  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] *** Bitcoin Stoshi Dice Game ++ A GAME CREATOR! [Earn BTC Now] *** on: November 25, 2013, 09:38:27 AM
Glad to hear from you
I really hope it's not a scam, I like the project

Can you tell me did this bet win or lose?

If someone lose, how does he know it?
You must wait for tomorrow to know the secret seed

NOTICE: @ALL, I made a small mistake while putting up the proof code, I have corrected the error now. Pleas update code anywhere it was placed!

I don't know, only the admin can answer you
I also think it's a scam

I sent them an email I'll let you know if I ever receive an answer
I won't wait more than 6 hours... Would you disappear after setting up a new business?

1253  Economy / Services / Re: Earn upto 0.6 BTC per month for your signature! on: November 24, 2013, 10:01:42 PM
I think it's SUPER obvious that for 0.6 BTC a month, NO ONE in their sane mind would scam and remove signature after payment, especially people with 1200+ posts...  The fact that being new, he won't pay first, shows that this is a scam 100%.  I mean, even after first month if he paid first, people would accept him paying second, as he'd have enough or a reputation built just from that!

You can't jump to the conclusion of them being the scam.

You can try not to, but you can read the information given at http://www.bitsplay.ga/info/

if a game hits -50 BTC in overall balance, that game will be stopped and all the addresses will become deposit addresses. All the BTC coming in will go to the Game Bank. The game will restart as soon as the counter is back -5 BTC or higher.

Scams rarely state negative rules like the one you quoted (the aim of a scam is to attract as many people as possible)
IMO putting this in your website shows a bit of honesty

(or reverse psychology?)

I doubt the OP will agree with ANY of these.. :/
If you guys need an escrow I'd be happy to help with that.
Why wouldn't he?

Their "provably fairness", http://www.bitsplay.ga/proof/:
Quote
Proof - Provably Fair Info
All the games are provably fair. They use the transaction hash, daily server seed, game name and transaction message to verify.
(Transaction message fallback to "null", if not present)

We have made a PHP script to verify all results. For any other query, you can contact us.

<?php
function checkMyResult($tx, $seed, $gamename, $mess = "null") {
    $hash = sha1($tx.$seed.$gamename.$mess);

    $value = substr($hash, 0, 10);
    $dice = round(hexdec($value)/42949672.95,2);

    echo "{$hash} - {$dice}";
}
?>

Yesterday's Server Seed was: 9097f4705fc87b41b0aa65a94e331dec8ad8c37f

I implemented that function. If you are a player, try it here: http://btpp.jampa.eu/check_bitsplay.ga.php

I found this site but couldn't verify the games
Scam indeed
1258  Economy / Services / Re: Earn upto 0.6 BTC per month for your signature! on: November 24, 2013, 06:33:46 PM
I'd like to do it too

As I think I have much more trust attached to my account than you, I'd like to be paid in advance too or in escrow

Il doit y avoir des français ici chez d'autres banques prêts à servir d'intermédiaires (à voir les problèmes de confiance après)
J'en ferais partie si ma banque daignait me fournir mes codes pour gérer mon compte

Looks pretty fair to me, 0 risked BTC, and a warning with evidence.
Seems fair to me too
