Wow, I can't believe they would do that. It sounds like a greedy thing to do. Same here - Raise money for a project
- Paypal refuses to give you the money until final delivery of the product

... The special form itself may ultimately turn out to be weaker... but the performance impact is considerable and this does matter for our usage.
Is this related to something you responded to me in another thread, when we were talking about brute-forcing bitcoin-wt wallet.dat's, that the time taken for each brute-force was relatively high - what I am asking is, is this a result of choosing these magic numbers? AFAIK wallet.dat is encrypted using AES

Can an account be recovered if we've posted a PGP key and can sign a message stating it's been compromised?
Yes. That's great

When will satoshi spend his hoarded coins, any idea?
Never, he can't. But I'm sure he is close to one Bitcoin business that make him earn some. I'd like him to withdraw some of his coins though. The mass panic would be epic.

Beware ! Thanks for the link Why would you beware of us fixing the code? The original design of the coin was to produce 100 million coins. After assuming development responsibilities, we found a bug in the code that was causing "unlimited coin generation" and lowered the block reward to return the coin to it's original total coin output. We didn't think the World wanted (or needed) another infinite coin. That's not the point What worries people is that new comers will earn 10 times less GLD with the same hashpower It also means that early adopters are fucking loaded That's not bad nor good, it's just something people need to know before investing in GLD
