1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: December 01, 2022, 10:01:19 PM
It's the first and so Bitcoin will have the support no matter what the condition of the market and how many projects are supposedly better that Bitcoin.

And we have a saying that it's too good to fall, and we have a lot of bitcoin maximalist as well who will continue to buy specially if the price is cheap because they know that it will bring for them in the future.

So with that, we should learn from this early and smart investors, that even if the price goes down very fast, let's see $10k, it will still not fall, and on the contrary, a good buying opportunity again.
Yeah, we should learn from them and how they do it. It's just two things, they're buying when the prices aren't that high and at the same time they're patiently holding.

So, someone who has to learn from them needs to remember those very few things on how they're making a lot. It's not that much to remember but it's very effective to look at.

On this moment, no matter what the price of bitcoin, there'll always be the buyers ready to buy those cheap bitcoins.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recover Myetherwallet password? on: December 01, 2022, 09:09:51 PM
IIRC, I've done that and also used an old keystore but it has required me with password too. Checking it on https://www.myetherwallet.com/wallet/access/software?type=keystore will still require you to enter the password as the 2nd process.

I have no idea if there's a way to bypass that but think of any password that you've used on that keystore or account and try to remember it.

Look at your computer or laptop wherever you usually keep passwords on your files and folders.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's understand about what can be the actual long term holding... on: December 01, 2022, 08:14:08 PM
That's DCA is the suggested strategy for everybody whether you're a newbie or not. I also understand that long term in stocks is certainly long term and the gains are not that tremendous as what we're seeing in bitcoin.

I can understand how patient the people and investors there because when they say long term, they really mean it that it's an actual long term of holding and investing.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know anything about YoBit? The exchange? on: December 01, 2022, 02:13:58 PM
I already see their stupid high APYs

They've made a lot of their own native tokens and they'll just repeat it when they're done with it. Those tremendous APY that they're giving, look at how much it got with its order book.

Most likely, you'll see nothing to its buying order and those that have been selling it like waiting for it to be taken care of. But the thing is, no one wants to take care of it.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: December 01, 2022, 11:21:35 AM
What casino websites are they?

Most of the casinos that are scammers are newer ones because they've got no reputation to protect and they're just like hit or miss type of scammers hiding through a casino.

And for your reference about the casinos in the forum, we've got plenty of them through the Gambling section.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's freedom is Absolute! on: November 30, 2022, 11:04:04 PM
Too much freedom is also bad and those examples that you've given should also be given a reminder to the people that are enjoying yet didn't noticed that they're abusing their freedom.

You can only advice or teach, stop seeing people using exchanges or doing kyc as anti bitcoin.
I don't see them as anti bitcoin but even advising them to avoid storing it there based from the happenings that we're seeing. We just want the best for ourselves and to everyone.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: November 30, 2022, 09:22:10 PM
@OP, bitcoin is at the right path and every project that will make a new blockchain of their own and new token for which they think is better than bitcoin is going nowhere.

There have been gazillions of that type of projects in the past years of bitcoin's existence and most of them didn't survived at all. That's why many will tell you if it's bitcoin, it's like the assurance in this market but when it's about any other altcoin, you'll be not sure with most of them.
What many newbies do not understand is that they think of bitcoin as any other product and believe that if a new coin is developed then that is going to be enough to replace bitcoin, but we know this is not true, the growth of bitcoin is similar to what we see with social networks, a social network without people using it is completely useless, while a social network used by billions of people is worth a fortune, so this is why most altcoins are worth nothing while bitcoin is still incredibly valuable even during a bear market.
That era is about to be done.

We've seen too many projects thought that they're better than bitcoin and they're higher than it. But the reality speaks for itself that they've got no place in the market because the community knows what's better for each of us.

Bitcoin being the top of the crypto market is what makes it as the best investment and that's why no matter what people ask to themselves about its fall, that's highly unlikely to happen.
1248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can We Consider This Casino An Industry Giant In Marketing Here In Bitcointalk on: November 30, 2022, 08:20:25 PM
They make tons of money and every single penny they spend on marketing is on a budget that's not really going to hit them bad. But if they're spending that much per week or per month then it only means they have faith to the marketing style as it works for them.

Just like any other casino or brand that's not on the forum but spends a lot of money on advertising on social media or into the banners that we mostly see through google ads.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF Confirmed He Will Be Speaking at NY Times’ DealBook Summit on: November 30, 2022, 07:22:31 PM
How can Sam Bankman-Fried be allowed to speak at the New York Times DealBook Summit?
Connections.

I think it's pay back time to those that he has supported when he's still at the peak. Donating money here and there and to the democrats and that's why he's taking all the benefits right now.

People even want him in jail but look, he's free out there having talks and I guess this won't be the last appearance he'll have but there could be more.

1251  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon buys rights to produce and distribute an FTX miniseries on: November 29, 2022, 01:36:50 PM
While the news and event is still fresh for FTX. Film makers and producers see that they can make money from the hype that its brought.

Like the other stocks and economy markets even the gamestop, it's already on netflix. I'm sure that these series' that they're trying to build isn't just all about showing the other side of the story.

But it's all about making money on them as the interest of the audience is still there and they can't just miss it.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect of Fake Bitcoins demand for the real One on: November 29, 2022, 10:41:37 AM
Bitcoin's ATH and increase has something to do with demand and supply but one thing that can't be removed is about the printing of Tether. Whether we like it or not, that really contributes big to the price of bitcoin.

People's laziness in withdrawing their money from platforms makes real Bitcoin less valuable?
I don't think there's direct impact on it. Whether people are lazy to withdraw, it's still the same as what the market is showing. I'm thinking about those news about whales moving funds in and out of exchanges. That don't give that much impact these days until the exchange happens.

What would happen if everyone decided to withdraw their coins? And how will it affect real bitcoins.
Probably the impact of it isn't on bitcoin but more with the exchanges where people are pulling out their funds. Demand will be less on them and they'll do something to take back those pulled out funds on them again.

If these actions continue, can these platforms influence the price of bitcoin and reduce it by arbitrage or shorting between them?
Most likely, yes.

Like with what these owner of exchanges done, we didn't even know that they're doing something behind with people's fund. It's like when they're using people's money and everyone gets to know about it.

Then, the chain reaction is there, it's a domino impact.
1253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi files for bankruptcy protection. on: November 29, 2022, 08:33:19 AM
Someone has already posted this news about BlockFi filing for chapter 11 - bankruptcy. The thread[1] was posted on the Exchanges section and it's better if everyone's going to continue the discussion there as that's the first thread that's been made for the said topic.

1254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a ban on Retirees Cypto Account a fair deal? on: November 28, 2022, 11:43:12 PM
That's for sure related to what happened in Canada with retirees money swindled by FTX.

It's fair to think about the welfare of the retirees and on how they're going to spend well their pension. But, it's still up to them when they have the control of their funds.

Whether they'll spend it on a cruise, a vacation or into investing it on bitcoin. As long as the management of handling the money to them is good, next to it is their decision making and government shouldn't intervene with personal interest and actions.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't a religion. on: November 28, 2022, 09:42:40 PM
I got this very topic phrase"Not A Religion from one of my favourites in the community (Bitcointalk forum).
This very topic rang a bell in my heart because I had to read her response on a topic over and over again and I really do agree with her that Bitcoin isn't a religion
Most people see Bitcoin as a religion and a must to believe in it and and feel left out if they aren't.
I disagree with you, I don't think that most sees bitcoin as a religion. Whoever said that is just speculating that everybody thinks that bitcoin is a religion.

What is better to think is that, this is a community, a movement for which comes from different parts of the world.

One of the reasons people who believe so much in Bitcoin is the possibility of making money with minimal effort.
With that in belief, that means that religions make money so as bitcoin if perceived as a religion?

Do you really see Bitcoin as a religion?
No.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: November 28, 2022, 08:46:53 PM
I always check the projects through other projects, whether they have been followed on Twitter, or any other means of social media by verified projects, For example, if some projects are followed by Coinmarketcap, Binance, Kucoin, and some other top accounts, so I think about these projects. So, this is also a way to look over.
But that's not enough, there are communities of projects that have been made with fake followers though I think you know what I mean and they're easy to be figured out.

If there's not that much interaction on that project then that only means that they're not real followers and probably used a following service from any third party to make it look like they have a lot of followers.

And the engagement isn't there because you see little active people to none.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn 9-10% APY using USDT and a simple strategy on: November 27, 2022, 11:45:16 PM
9%-10% of interest rate APY is reasonable and that's like the normal rates. But it's starting to make me worry about things when FTX has fallen and other companies that has relative service for giving interest to the deposits on their platform closed down.

The logic of earning from these interest rates is having huge deposits so that you'll also earn bigger from it. But with turn of events right now in the sphere, it's worrisome that they might collapse or file for bankruptcy while your deposits are still with them.
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: November 27, 2022, 10:55:10 PM
Collect potential Alts Bear market.
Some may really be good to be collected and yes, just do it only with the ones that has the potential because I've seen with the many that they're doing it wrong.

Every time someone calls that it's a good coin with a potential, they're all rushing to buy it without any single doubt of trying to learn what's with it and if it's really true.

But to remind, not all alts that have soared during the bull run could show the same results and be back again.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cold storage ALL your crypto or withdraw fiat into your bank account NOW!!! on: November 27, 2022, 09:57:01 PM
That's what I've done for a long time before I've acquired my hardware wallet. I've also read it from someone in the forum and found it as a good suggestion.

I did have an old laptop and connected it for a while in the internet so that I can download Electrum and then did the transfers and kept bitcoin on that wallet I've from that laptop and took a long time until I've connected it back again for doing transfers during the bull run.

It's a good alternative but just make sure that you're putting it on a good surface that no one can ever touch it except you.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin? on: November 27, 2022, 09:02:18 PM
Leaving sentiments asides, will you advise someone to still buy some Bitcoins (Not up to the value of 1)  if they have an amount of money that will be okay to purchase the equivalent of 1 of a good altcoin with a strong community? Is having some bitcoins (in decimals) more valuable still than having the value of one good altcoin?
Definitely.

Owning bitcoin is much better than owning any altcoin. There will be the debates about that altcoins have gained more than what bitcoin has gained and that's okay.

If you think that there will be an altcoin that will gain more than bitcoin then suggest it to the others or do it on your own. But by having bitcoin, it's like having an assured asset in this world of cryptocurrencies that's majority of it is volatile.
