Came back to see if this was a car wreck and seems to be.  That one stings and this happens all too often.  A great run of betting only to be taken away with one wrong decision.  OP, have ypu ever won a bet of this size is this a normal betting range for you?  I'd be gutted if I lost that much in one go around.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: June 03, 2023, 08:34:27 PM
I have been gone for a while and now I am back, I am fully prepared to build some long term hold bags with the new trending utilities in the crypto space, I still somehow believe that Metaverse and A.I will generate big gains by 2025, what coins are you currently looking forward to accumulating? Out of Metaverse and Artificial intelligence is fine.

Well first and foremost the plan has to include always stacking bitcoin.  Alts can come and go so I'd be more selective with those.  For this bull run my pick is polygon/matic.  It's a decent project and has been picking up steam during the latest bear market.  Think it should breakout during the next bull.  Either way welcome back and good luck with whatever direction you go.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TAMADOGE to $1 soon? on: June 03, 2023, 08:27:12 PM
There's a new "meme" coin on the market called "Tamadoge". It had a pre-sale for quite some time which turned out to be a huge success. According to the website, the "meme" coin will have its own P2E (Play-to-Earn) game where you can earn TAMA on the ETH blockchain. Whenever the project will be a success or a failure in the long run, it's yet to be seen. While I don't think TAMA will become extremely-valuable in the future (it's a "meme" coin after all), it could certainly become a profitable venture for early investors within the short-term.

What do you think about this coin? Is it a scam or is it legit? Do you think it's possible TAMA will reach $1 within the not-so-distant future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Another pointless coin.  These are a dime a dozen.  Good rule of thumb is if a coin needs to name their coin after another one than its most likely a scam or at a minimum a cash grab.   I'd steer clear of any coin jumping on doge's name just to get recognition.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Lost it's Fervor for Percentage Gains? on: June 03, 2023, 08:23:14 PM
People seem to have become millionaires in previous bull cycles with modest investments in BTC & ETH.  If I invested in 1 BTC, is it enough to make me a millionaire by the next bull run, or are there an elite number of alt coins that could help me safely achieve what BTC & ETH once did?

That's the problem people think that alts and all these cheap projects will take the same trajectory as bitcoin has.  There will be coins that pump but crypto isn't a get rich quick scheme, it's more a lose all your money quick scheme when you throw your money at all these projects.  Most are just cash grabs, just stick with bitcoin lol.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 03, 2023, 08:19:54 PM
I still don't think the Heat are going to win more than one game this series and that's if they can manage to steal one.  I also think they have a tendency to keep games close when it comes down to the wire.  So with a 10.5 point spread, I'm taking the Heat with the spread for game 2.  I still think they're going to lose to the Nuggets, but I think they'll probably manage to chip away at whatever lead the Nuggets have down the stretch to manage to lose by only a few points.  Betting Denver to win just isn't worth it as far as risk/reward and that spread is too big to bet against.

They had that run in game 1 that shows promise that they can catch up to the Nuggets. I think they cannot win more than one game in the series. Maybe 2, I am definitely sure the Finals will not go to game 7. The Nuggets are too strong on their home, so I doubt the Heat will be able to win on the road. But they can definitely win on their home. It depends on coach Spoelstra on how he can limit Jokic. Miami is a defensive team, maybe they can find a way that will limit Jokic and force turnovers.

Don't worry about that; they'll make adjustments in Game 2. There's no way they'll come out as flat as they did in Game 1. Let's expect a major adjustment, and it's unlikely that the Heat will shoot poorly from the three-point line again, considering their great percentage in the postseason. The undrafted players aren't performing as they used to, especially in terms of their contributions. So, let's hope that Martin and Struss will have a decent game in Game 2.

I am sure they will make adjustments, but the Nuggets are just too strong in their home. I doubt the Heat will be able to win. They have been impressive the entire post-season, but so is the Nuggets. I do not think the Nuggets have lost in their home this postseason.

Here is my bet.

Money line is probably the right bet.  -10.5 might be too much given the low scoring games that the Heat play.  No way could you lay on Miami the way they played last game.  I'm gonna stuck with some jokic props.  Taking pts, rbs, and assists all over whatever it is lol.  His ball usage is crazy.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 03, 2023, 08:09:50 PM

If the Heat players keep shooting like they did in Game 1, they won't have a chance to win the Finals series. Just look at their stats. Strus missed all 10 of his shots, Martin scored only 1 of 7, and Robinson scored 1 of 6. If these players had scored at least half of their shots, the outcome of the first game might have been different. So it seems to me that the Heat needs to think not only about stopping Jokic but also about not screwing up on offense once again.

I think the motivation is not enough and Jimmy Butler is feeling it with the Miami Heat team, on the interview he is likely saying all of that words to his teammates for them to wake up a bit, that they need to move more, and getting those inside rebounds and taking the drive to the Nuggets because there isn't much activity in getting free throws,

The Heat players have already come such a long way and beaten such strong opponents as the Bucks and Celtics, and now they're literally one step away from winning the title. So how can they lack motivation? Those players who played poorly in the first game should pick themselves up in the next games rather than relying on Butler to win the title for them single-handedly.

It's not a motivation thing.  At a certain point the lack of pure talent will eventually stu t their ability to move on.  Beating the Nuggets 4 games out of the next 6 is going to require more than motivation.  These guys are gonna have to punch above theor weight class and hit 3s at a higher rate than normal.  Get more 50/50 balls, offensive rebounds, limit turnovers etc.  Just too much I think.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is dead, long live ... what? on: June 02, 2023, 08:45:29 PM
What are you talking about bitcoin is dying lol.  Bitcoin runs the market.  Nothing goes anywhere until bitcoin does.  You think nfts are gonna push bitcoin off its petistal you haven't been around long enough.  Everyone has claimed bitcoin has been dying since 2010.  How's that prediction faired so far?
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $90,000 all in bet on: June 02, 2023, 08:39:47 PM
Wow.  I mean good on you with that build up but that's a dicey all in call.  Hope it works out for you.  I'm not familiar with the teams to know one way or another if that's a solid bet.  Did you build it all up betting soccer or various sports?  Good luck

Seems like the SUNS have found a new coach:

https://www.foxnews.com/sports/suns-hire-recent-nba-champion-next-head-coach-report

Frank Vogel is a good fit. He knows how to handle several superstars, as he has shown at the Lakers.
I was wondering already why he wasn't in the conversation at other teams but glad he found a new home. I like his coaching style and after getting sacked by Lebron he definitely deserves a new opportunity.

That leaves 3 teams without a coach now, Detroit, Milwaukee and the Raptors.

Wonder if Doc Rivers will get hired somewhere. Maybe Detroit or the Raptors, I doubt a team like the Bucks who actually have a championship team and want to win will sign a coach that is actually not winning when it counts.  Grin

We will have to see how Frank Vogel will fit on the Suns roster. What he had to bring though is that he has the championship experience, specially handling stars. So he might bring a fresh set of mindset amongst the Suns team as they are in a disarray with so much drama as well. For sure, maybe Ayton is willing to stay for at least a year.

As for the game 1 result, I'm sure majority is not surprised on how dominant the Nuggets inside and outside. Aaron Gordon seems to be enjoying his first finals appearance and wanted to make the best out of this experience.

Surprise hire.  It's a veteran team so I'm guessing they were looking for a coach who is open in terms of playing style.  Probably a right fit.  Too many times teams pick a coach who implements a system with players who don't want to play it.  Phil Jackson and the triangle with the Knicks was a good example of system and wrong team.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 02, 2023, 02:39:09 PM
Don't bet on basketball that often, but since this time it's the final it wouldn't be wrong to try a bet, just one bet on Jokic over 23.5 odds @1.89. It looks like that won't happen because until Q3 he still scored quite a few points, but in Q4 he was able to score more points and even became the top point scorer for his team in this first game. I think game two will still be a bet on him coming back and in game two the Nuggets are going to dominate the game again unless the Heat makes a significant change.

Those were actually good numbers.  I might throw a rebounding prop on jokic next game.  Odds aren't good enough to bet Denver and the over/under will be a mystery this whole series.  Jokic touch rare is so high that it's almost a given he will either hit his props on pts, rbs assists or a combination of all of them.  I missed with the over last night.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 02, 2023, 02:35:31 PM
When Strus keeps on shooting outside, I guess that's the game of Coach Spo that everyone should just keep on shooting as they can't get inside because of Jokic.

I also see that Jimmy and Bam can't do a thing inside because of the tight defense of the Nuggets. But if I were Spo at the beginning of the game when Strus' threes weren't making a thing, I'll have him go outside and replaced by someone who's got a good shooting.

But who's that when most of them were out of luck trying to get a three.

Yes, as even Robinson is not converting those shots, I believe that they are trying outside since the presence of Jokic is really feeling felt.

Same with how you see Heat is really having a hard time making a good shot. Even Butler has a bad
shooting percentage.

Big factor for the Nuggets is the hot hands of the core players from the beginning of the game, Murray, Jokic
and Gordon have a good start and they manage to maintain till the end of the game.

The bright lights got to them.  Happens in the finals with the world watching.  Jimmy looked lost and Miami couldn't hit a shot.  Spoelstra should have pivoted and had them force the issue.  They let Denver play free.  I imagine game 2 they will try to bang the paint and get to the line more.
1292  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Which do you prefer? Physical or digital collectibles? on: June 01, 2023, 08:52:42 PM
Definitely physical!  I jist never got into nfts maybe it's just jealousy 😂

No seriously for being able to display something in real life is what always got me into any collectable.  The shinier the better!  I know a lot is leaning more into digital but maybe I'm just too old for those new tricks.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: June 01, 2023, 08:50:26 PM
Well keep buying bitcoin then!  Just kidding.  Actually a good project I have been looking into is polygon/matic.  Lots of good things coming from that group and the coin already pulled back a ton from its ath like most coins so now is probably a good time to get into it.  Either way good luck in your altcoin adventure Smiley
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 01, 2023, 08:48:37 PM
A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.

Why do people still continue to believe people over the internet.  Never click links from someone you don't know including someone who is "popular".  Interneting 101 people.  All for air drops?  I'm sorry you lost money but never believe anyone you unfortunately had to learn the hard way.

Denver Nuggets VS Miami Heat

The stake odds for this game are 1.27 for the Nuggets and 4.00 for the Heat, Right now Collin Gillespie is out of the season, for the Nuggets while Tyler Herro has a hand injury and can not play for the Heat, and  Victor Oladipo has a knee and is out for the season, rather than that injuries there are no pertaining injuries on both parties, but for me, the Nuggets has the most advantage in this game and Miami Heat will be needing Kevin Love for the Offensive and defensive rebounding, but for this game I will be going with the Denver Nuggets,

Decision-wise, the Denver Nuggets indeed got more chances to win in the first game hence why their odds is that low compared to the Heat. Even the bookies know the real chances of the Heat and it is not that great after all, that is why they are giving a tempting odds of 4.00

That said, I think I will just go under for now because the odds is somehow profitable for me while the chances is also good as I think it will be a close game with both teams on defensive mode. I'd be putting for the Denver but that 1.27 is not that much for me.

Regarding about Tyler Herro, his status has been changed because he is now likely to return in Game 2. We'll be seeing that one for sure.

They are trying to bait people into it.  Denver is well rested and will come out firing in this one.  The only thing I'm debating is the over and under results.  Miami has played a slow game all playoffs but I think they will need to adjust to Denver game.  I got this one 122-109 hitting the over on game 1.

Enjoy the game and good luck everyone!
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 01, 2023, 08:40:11 PM
I think it is obvious that Heat is good, they are at the finals and I do agree that Nuggets will dominate at home, but then when it's back to Miami, Nuggets will have some hard time for sure. They are so used to breezy air of cold Denver, Miami will be hard for them and they have been resting for sure and that will help at first but then it's going to be both teams going into third game so I doubt that would matter.

I am not seeing a 4-5 game series, it will probably be another 6-7 game series if you ask me. Obviously I can't guarantee anything, Nuggets may sweep, or hell even Heat may sweep, how would we know. I just assume that after the first two games, the difference Nuggets have will get a lot smaller and teams will be a lot closer to each other.

I see this as a 5 game max series.  I just don't see miami scoring with Denver unless theor 3 point shooting is off the charts.  Jokic can't be stopped and Murray is just too good to be slowed down as well.  If miami wants a chance they will have to figure out how to defend their pick and roll game.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: May 31, 2023, 09:50:25 PM
I got Crawford taking this one.  I know there is a guaranteed rematch clause if the lower wants and a third if it's split.  What's the chances this runs into a trilogy?  I haven't been this hyped about a fight for a long time.  This should be a good one.  I just hope it's not completely one sided where the lower bows out and goes a different direction.  Crawford 10th round two is my guess.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: May 31, 2023, 09:47:34 PM
Gambling places are not for steady income, if you want steady income with gambling, online or offline, you have to be a owner, build your own casino and watch yourself growing up into a filthy rich billionaire.

Online casinos are places where it's certain that you will lose your money, it's a place where you need to be mentality sane to at least have a good ride and experience as you progress, it's not always about making money with gambling, it's always about not ending up running insane because of gambling.

To make this happen, you need to discipline yourself up, make sure you set some rules on how you will handle gambling every day and how much you are willing to risk on gambling every day or else you will end up in the gutter, with full regrets.

That's if you are not even addicted to gambling already, a addicted gambler always have one goal in mind, '( I have to make back all I have lost ), this is where the beginning of the end begins.

This is true.  Gble with what you are prepared to lose.  There is no way to guarantee steady income and if your bills and life depend on it, at one point or another ypu will bust out and be in real trouble.  People have successfully supplemented their income but it can't be the only source.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 31, 2023, 09:45:22 PM
How do you guys see game 1? It will be interesting to see the battle of strategies in this series. I'm thinking coach Spo will try to focus the defense on Murray and the supporting players. He knows they can't stop Jokic no matter who he puts to guard him so may as well let him take all the shots to tire him out as early as possible.

Tough to say on who will get the 1st game in their favor, but coach Spo will probably let Bam Adebayo handle Nikola Jokic in the first two games as they both have the same position and see if Bam can really handle the foe's big man.
Regarding about the team's defensive prowess, I'll take the Miami Heat as the advanced defenders as I see the Nuggets as more on offensive. It would be a different style in their upcoming games though but later on, their fortes will be revealed once again as they will use what their strengths is. This will be interesting.

It will be interesting but since jokic plays up high bam is going to be neutralized.  He isn't going to be able to hang with jokic.  Miami should just understand jokic will get his they need to limit role players like Porter Jr and Bruce brown.  I know people have unslderestimated the Heat but Denver is a different animal.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 30, 2023, 09:21:54 PM
Celtics just didn't had a good day, it wasn't really all their fault, Tatum sort of injured, Brown having one off night, it all happens. They scored so little, 39% from the floor, 20% from threes, when you do those kinds of stats then you end up losing without a doubt. In the end they weren't given any chance at all before their run started, it was 3-0 and people thought they would lose anyway, it just took them 3 more games to lose. In fact, they probably caused Heat to lose the finals as well, how?

Well, there are some old players at Heat like Lowry, and the way they played 7 games so far and Nuggets ended up resting, it is clear that Heat will not be battling just Jokic and Murray, they will be battling fatigue as well. I say Nuggets in 6.

Tatum was a shell of himself had no speed to his game because of his ankle.  That wrecked the game for the Celtics.  There game plan after that was mainly one on one amd jack 3s for most of the night.  I have to think once Tatum went down and they were scrambling the gameplan was centered around Tatum.  Especially since dude dropped 50 in the game 7 before this series against Philly.  Think its gonna be a quick and boring finals.
