1321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website. on: July 13, 2023, 10:05:25 AM

Op is talking about Webull trading bots. Here is the URL https://webulltradingbots.com/. It seems this is a Ponzi scheme website that is copied https://www.webull.com/ theme and design.
I am sorry for your loss, but any investment site that postpones withdrawal requests is scam and therefore do not attempt to deposit except in a site that you trust after you have researched and made sure that it is an official site and after the necessary license.

I tried to access the site, but the browser does not allow me to access it, so I try to track the deposit address. These scammers are mostly lazy, and we may be able to find out more.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US government moved over 9,800 BTC from the Silk Road case on: July 13, 2023, 09:57:48 AM
In auction sales, the highest bidder gets the opportunity to buy the lot. Maybe Coinbase was the highest bidder that was why the coins was sold to the exchange.

That is why I asked why such coins are mostly sold in a public auction that has been announced for a while. They are rarely sold privately or without an announcement, because the sale took place for the best price and not for the price of bitcoin in spot market.

These coins are a good opportunity for anyone who wants to buy clean Bitcoin from dirty sources.

That will definitely affect the market negatively, and I would be more excited than worried because the price drop is an opportunity to buy. It is an opportunity, and we should take advantage of it instead of fearing it.
In terms of volume, 10,000 bitcoins are less than bitcoins that are traded daily, and therefore will not affect the price. In terms of news, their impact is positive, as these currencies are part of the bad past of bitcoin, which becomes brighter day after day.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Currency Security Requires Breakthrough Technology on: July 13, 2023, 09:50:25 AM
The birth of digital currency has brought about great changes in human life, and it is also the most popular payment method for people.  Because of convenience and speed, digital currency has become a trend!
We cannot say that this is true if we assume that the total number of people who have used, bought, or heard of encrypted currencies or digital money is 500 million people, as this number is less than the general population, and since the influence of Facebook, for example, is greater than the influence of bitcoin.

A breakthrough new technology is a disorderly decentralized structure. It is decentralized and does not form blocks. It solves the technical barriers of the original decentralized platform, and it is an offline transaction. Everyone  Are you looking forward to it as much as I am?

Frankly, I did not see the idea, but let's take Grin as an example, as it is a similar idea
GRiN — THE MIMBLEWIMBLE BLOCKCHAIN It perfectly matches your description, however, over a year ago, it did not have a high value compared to some of the non-technological assets behind it that gained popularity. the value of such structures may appear after 10 to 20 years.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US government moved over 9,800 BTC from the Silk Road case on: July 13, 2023, 08:23:58 AM
The most exciting thing according to the news is, the US government is selling those BTC on Coinbase. Yeah, you heard right, that exchange against which the same governments have opened several cases including with the Binance Exchange.
This has happened several times, and it will happen to every asset seized by the government, which is to be sold in an auction and publicly, and this is not limited to Bitcoin. Sometimes the government confiscates cars, home appliances, plots of land, and other things, but I wonder why they were sold to Coinbase instead of being auctioned. There is clear cooperation between some federal institutions and Coinbase, and these payments may be liquidity paid by the government in exchange for data exchange from it, or that the auction was conducted internally and Coinbase won the auction.

These auction stories are funny. Someone made a fortune buying bitcoin that was seized from an auction at a price lower than the average price of bitcoin.

Just wondering when we'll hear about chipmixer seized coins.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still trust wBTC? Wrapped Bitcoin on: July 13, 2023, 08:15:12 AM
This is what makes it an Altcoin, since it's not Bitcoin. WBTC is actually of no real value; the value and price attached to it are just done by the developers, so the chances of it re-pegging will depend on how much the developers are willing to pump in in order for it to maintain the same price as Bitcoin.

It seems that you did not understand my meaning, WBTC will be able to restore the link and connection to the same price of bitcoin, but what is happening is confirmation because the locking algorithm is not 1:1, but rather Signatories/validators exploit the bitcoins that they lock for other purposes. The point is not in how much you will sell bitcoin now, but in that as long as your coins have been exploited and you did not find them at the moment of unlocking, there is no guarantee that their value is equal to 1 bitcoin at all (even if de-pegged is restored).

One reason to de-pegged is WBTC/PEPES: $26,994.00 meme coins achieve wealth in indirect ways.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do you still trust wBTC? Wrapped Bitcoin on: July 13, 2023, 07:28:38 AM
Over the past days, the price of wBTC has de-pegged the price of Bitcoin several times, and now the price is trying to return to the peg, but do you still trust this currency and their ability to fulfill 1 BTC = 1 wBTC?

During the past three days, the price was trading in the range of $27,000 compared to $30,000, but now we are seeing levels such as $23,000, and the wider the gap, the greater the possibility that the currency will not be able to re-peg.

I advise you to get rid of this token quickly.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 13, 2023, 07:06:08 AM
I believe that both Threads and Twitter are proactive platforms for preparing for the election campaign in the United States of America, and since Twitter is more than just an application for collusion, but rather an interface through which voters can be surveyed and their political orientations can be surveyed, the launch of Threads at this time to block the way on Twitter to be the number one platform One.

I do not expect widespread success for Threads, but the reason for the huge number of registrations is the large database it owns on Instagram and Facebook, and therefore it is not a measure of success, but rather the continued growth of the service away from Instagram, and so far it is an urgent attempt by Meta to obtain more opinions of voters.

Twitter does not need to create its own clone because it is a micro-blogging feature, but Elon Musk may launch applications to compete with Instagram and TikTok.
1328  Other / Meta / Re: Addition of more forum boards/sections and modifications. Any need currently? on: July 13, 2023, 06:56:59 AM
New boards can easily be created, but unless there are ongoing discussions about them, they will either end up being dead sections or turning into spam.

in order for the discussion to be good and ongoing you need a compelling reason or good software, let's take the Lightning Network as a hot topic the number of topics during the last 120 days is less than 200 'Guess numbers' and every week there is an average of 20 topics that are created. Even if this board is created, it will slowly die with time.

I agree with you that some of the current boards 'Project Development, Economics, Beginners & Help' need either new mods or to amend their definition.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 12, 2023, 02:49:19 AM
The fact that Satoshi invented Bitcoin for a specific thing and it was used for something different, this does not preclude the selfishness of using it for both parties. There is a quote from Satoshi, which is that during the next 20 years, Bitcoin will have either many transactions or zero effect.

I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume -- Satoshi Nakamoto

In other words, there will be a high demand for Bitcoin, and since the supply is only limited, we can say that the price will rise, so can we consider this as a sign from Satoshi because the price of Bitcoin will rise?

All possibilities are now available, but the end result is that Bitcoin is a high-risk investment and can lead to zero.
1330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Image uploading websites/ scripts for Bitcointalk users on: July 12, 2023, 02:26:01 AM
I remember a long time ago there were problems with postimages.org so adding a list of potential problems might be good or at least a rating to rank these sites based on users' experience or your personal opinion.
I used imgbox.com/ and imgbb.com but using talkimg with ShareX is fast. I just hope that the site does not fall into copy rights problems.

You can upload pictures with imgur, but they do not appear, so it is a bad option.
1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Railgun Privacy wallet - Zero Knowledge Proof secured - Railway on: July 12, 2023, 01:51:18 AM
What prevents analysis tools from searching for wBTC, you get one wBTC for every bitcoin you locked, by tracking what is happening on the bridge block of bitcoins that are released and that are mined or burned, you can easily know which wBTC addresses belong to the owner of the bitcoin addresses. wBTC addresses are in a blockchain similar to Bitcoin and does not support privacy protocols, so it is easy to track.

I'd be understanding about privacy if the other blockchain is Monero or Mimblewimble related blockchain.

Not to mention all the risks of not being able to recover blockchain that you have closed, the possibility of hacking the bridge, a vulnerability in the smart contract, high fees in the decentralized smart contracts, you did not add any privacy-related feature.
1332  Other / Meta / Re: Top 50 merit senders list, all time on: July 12, 2023, 01:07:34 AM
It is difficult to track colors. Can you add a link so that the user can access this data?
the list on the right of the image completely disappears from the table below. Below, the arrangement of the members is different from the arrangement of the members on the right of the image, and therefore it is for different data or it is inaccurate.
1333  Other / Meta / Re: Why was this comment deleted? on: July 12, 2023, 12:58:12 AM
In the future, avoid replying to a thread that contains more than 3 pages or has not been published within the last 120 days, or you feel that the user has received enough responses, even if your post is of high quality, as it is among thousands of posts, which most likely no one will be able to see.
The fact that your response is of high quality, but it is out of form or did not add anything new or repetitive, as people before you answered it with the same quality, this means that the outcome is that the benefit from it is zero and therefore it has become of low quality.
1334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 10:37:41 AM
Greed makes you try to invest more, we love money and we want to collect more of it without getting tired, it is true that we are afraid of losing it, but the passion of collecting money remains greater than the passion of losing it, so saying that the investment should not be from the money you need during the next five years is the best or that No more than a total of 10% of your net investment.

Then setting the target, I find many of my friends do not know when to sell. He says that I will sell when the bitcoin rises, but when it rises, you find him saying, Oh, I will wait a little while, perhaps the price will rise more.
1335  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling BTC for cash Amsterdam on: July 08, 2023, 10:22:03 AM

I'm selling BTC for cash only. Strictly Face2face trade in my office in Amsterdam
price: market price +1.5 to 3% depend on amount you wish to trade.
The minimum trade amount is 3BTC
-No test amounts
-No Middleman
-No scammers
-No 1 satoshi test trades

$90,000 is an amount that requires your office to conduct money laundering rules, so do you have any registration, legal evidence, or any proof of your source of income, or is there no data, or will it be shared privately?
3% of 3 Bitcoins is a high fee. Will you ask the person for any personal data, or is the whole process done in secret? If you are going to ask for data, why not go to the OTC market, where he can buy legally, sometimes at a price lower than the market price by 1% or more, according to the quantity required.

Move this topic to the local board they will have a better knowledge of financial laws in Amsterdam or the Netherlands
1336  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Enhancing User Experience in Crypto Exchange Development: The Importance of Intu on: July 08, 2023, 10:11:04 AM
The process of developing the user experience with cryptocurrency platforms is not based on improving one aspect without the other. In the end, it is an integrated process, as the best platforms are those that have average performance for each of the user interface, deposit and withdrawal fees, identity verification rules, liquidity provision, response speed The support team, and overall platform performance, interface optimization is part of the overall process.

the process is a continuous development and not for one side or that improving the user interface only means that things will go right.
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of Farming. on: July 08, 2023, 07:55:09 AM
I believe that you are from one of the countries of Southeast Asia or India or one of the densely populated countries in which agricultural land is scarce or difficult and those that exist will not be as fertile as last year.
I live in a country where the opposite is true. We have large areas, but there are no real investments that encourage people to cultivate, as the income from it is good, but there are other sectors that are less difficult and more profitable and whose return is less risky instead of agriculture, such as tourism.
The future of agriculture is in the good use of lands globally, when countries start investing in the lands of other countries.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 08, 2023, 07:33:33 AM
We can say that not putting all eggs in a basket applies to those who want to buy more Ethereum, so why do you need to buy more? Bitcoin is better because the price of Ethereum is affected by Bitcoin, not the other way around.

based on the principle of diversifying assets, Bitcoin and Ethereum are both the same origin, and the second is affected by the change of the first, and therefore there is no point in increasing investment in Ethereum because it is not a diversification of investment, but rather an increase in investment in one type. The correct thinking is to invest in Ethereum at a certain time, if for a certain period, or as an alternative plan to buy more Bitcoin if its price rises.

1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Irony of Bitcoin Cash's Rise on: July 08, 2023, 07:21:52 AM
Yea, I was not here when those dramas were going on. But I read a lot of criticism in the previous post of . Bitcoin SV and some articles online when I try to get more information, where some authors even called it the better version of Bitcoin and all of that. If not for the EDX, which listed it as part of their trading assets, they would have been almost forgotten. I barely hear anyone say anything about it, nor do I see it in any market tracker trending list.

Their plan almost succeeded in the year 2017 by pumping the price of this currency and spam into the Bitcoin network by making transaction fees very high, and since that credit, we can say that this currency has become dead.
Bitcoin SV is an outright scam who even tried to steal the white paper and claim that the bitcoins belonged to them.

All altcoins except Ethereum can be described as dying. Yes, Bitoin Cash is real shitcoin, but even that coin gets pumped up from time to time.
Ethereum follows the same price as Bitcoin and rarely moves higher, I mean ETH/BTC not ETH/USD
1340  Other / Meta / Re: Can we distrust the default trust? on: July 08, 2023, 03:58:46 AM
Excuse me, I have a question that has been bothering me since last night. I don't know where this thought came from

What happens if I distrust the default trust?

When you do not trust the default trust, this means that you trust your trust list without any interference with the default trust, but this will not change the trust that others see.
In the sense that if you untrust default trust and some DT1/2 member, the negative trust that he left on you will not appear to you, but it will appear to all community and to new users who trust in the default trust by default.

this is a good topic to learn about trust LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system
