If your saying, Euro, then i will pick SEPA Transfers then..and ...assume..the bank transfers it automatically into my bank account into pounds.
I have absolutely no idea how the UK banking system works, but I would be surprised if someone can transfer you EUR and your bank automatically changes it in to GBP. Rather, you would need to trade with someone in the UK who already has a UK bank account. Maybe I'm wrong though.

SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfers are typically only available within the EU and only for the EURO currency. Since the United Kingdom is no longer a member of the EU, it is important for the OP to confirm with his bank whether SEPA transfers are possible. (I'm just assuming he is from the UK since he mentioned Pounds.)
1322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OLE777.IO Vietnamese scammers stole BIG amount from me. (proof inside) on: January 07, 2023, 09:08:20 PM
I found it here. Bitcointalk admin allows all sorts of scammers.

I am sure the admin has absolutely nothing to do with this casino. I do not see any evidence that he personally endorsed this casino or anything.
As for the Bitcointalk.org forum, how do you expect them to determine which sites are legitimate and which are scams before allowing them to post? They managed to fool you, didn't they?

they are Vietnamese owners from my research. Pieces of shit, soulless people.

I understand that you are upset about being scammed, and I can imagine how difficult that must be. However, it would be helpful if you could provide more information about what happened so that other forum members can avoid similar situations. Do you have any evidence or details about the circumstances that led to this situation?

Even if the site is secured, your data might not be safe outside this site especially if its regulated and the site submitted or all data to the regulator. The best way to protect your assets is to put it on your personally wallet, I'm always withdraw my money and never store any funds to any gambling site, I find this more safe and is a must. Choosing the best site can also lessen your worry, with this Roobet is one of the good choice based on my experience.

I completely agree with you. Personally, I would not want to rely on various sites to secure my assets, which is why I prefer to store my funds (especially large amounts) in reliable non-custodial wallets. It is always important to prioritize the safety and security of your assets. This is why I recommend having at least two different types of wallets: one for long-term storage (cold) and one for everyday transactions (online).

As for the security of our sensitive data, Roobet is a good choice for this. They have a solid reputation that makes them a reliable and trustworthy option. Of course, it is always important to do your own research and evaluate the options available to you before making a decision.
1324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: withdrawing bitcoin - newbie - advice welcome on: January 07, 2023, 07:43:46 PM

I will continue to learn / bit like a rabbit hole though...things to avoid. I will check back to see if any replies/ an idiots guide - literally an idiots guide though.

I see that you have posted in this thread as well! I had already responded to your question in the other thread.

I am not sure why you keep insisting that Bitcoin is more complicated than it really is. I remember my early days with Bitcoin, and I do not recall feeling as confused as you seem to be. It is not 2010 anymore, and unless you have been living under a rock, I am sure you have come into contact with at least one person who has some experience with cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is not as complicated as people once made it out to be, and I believe that any person who has a smartphone and an Internet connection should have no problem learning at least the basics of how Bitcoin works. There are plenty of excellent resources available, both online and in print, that explain all of this in a way that is easy to understand, and if you don't like any of those then simply ask a friend who knows about Bitcoin. I am sure they will be more than happy to explain it to you, and if they don't know then you can find someone else who does. The cryptocurrency world is full of people who are more than willing to help newcomers, and it is not hard to find them.

Ignorance may be bliss, but it is not going to do you any favors when it comes to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Educating yourself about new technologies and how they can potentially impact your life is crucial, whether that be financially or otherwise. And once you have learned the basics, you will be better equipped to decide if cryptocurrencies are right for you or not.

Inhave this one advise i will like to give you OP in addition to what others have been giving, "do not plagiarize"
~

This advice has already been given to the OP on multiple occasions, including a link to the Unofficial List of Forum Rules that all members of this forum should follow. It is not a problem to remind new members about the forum rules, but it would also be helpful if you took the time to read the previous replies before adding your own input. There is no need to repeat the same information that has already been provided.
1326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 07, 2023, 06:49:02 PM
Coinbase is out then?  because of it being casino funds.  BUT...WHY - ( Is this really an issue..that even though this is now my legit monies  it's still suspect because came from a casino? ..isnt it just a series of numbers now? )

Let me try to explain this. For the majority of bitcoiners, a bitcoin is a bitcoin regardless of its origin, unless it was obtained through illegal means such as the black market or hacking. However, centralized services like exchanges may have their own policies in place, including requirements for identity verification and proof of funds, which may include compliance with local laws and regulations based on the country in which the exchange is registered. Like most other centralized exchanges, Coinbase is regulated and licensed to operate as a money transmitter in various jurisdictions, including the U.S. and Europe. As such, they are required to verify the identities of their customers and may request identification documents or other information. If you want to trade bitcoin on these exchanges, you must follow their rules. (It is essential to carefully review their terms of use before using these services.)

( i must refrain from replying all the time , sorry for doing so, but one email reply leads to another...even your reply of,. protects being scammed etc,  and built in enscrow.   Can i not just sign up HodleHodle, type in my bank details...click a few buttons, send..£100 bitcoins...and receive into my bank account £100. simple as that? )

I am not familiar with HodlHodl, as I have never used them. I usually use a local exchange to transfer fiat to my bank account. If I need cash without too much hassle, I just find someone in my area who wants to trade in person and we meet up at a coffee shop or other public place to complete the trade. Is that something that you could do as well? Since a few hundred pounds is not a large amount, it should not be difficult for you to find a buyer in your local area. Have you tried posting on your local board on this forum? If you are willing to disclose your approximate location, that could be a good place to start. If you prefer complete anonymity, you could also consider using a Bitcoin ATM. There are many options available for selling bitcoin, as it has been around for over a decade and has spread to virtually every part of the world.
1327  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan to be returned in 2 months. on: January 06, 2023, 10:37:52 PM
That's all you need to know.
I will refund you the money in 2 months.BTC

The rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - That's all you need to know.

If you completely ignore this sticky and make a loan request with no collateral, without having massive trust on the forum, the chances of you getting negative trusted feedback and therefore having a Trade with Extreme Caution tag is almost 100%.
1328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 06, 2023, 09:33:26 PM
~

Hey, I was just wondering, have you had the chance to check out any other forums aside from Bitcointalk? It seems like you are pretty confident that it is the best one out there, so I was curious to know what other options you've considered before making that claim.

I have been a member of Bitcointalk for quite some time now, but I have to say that it is only the best forum if you are looking to get involved in cryptocurrency investing or blockchain technology in general. If you are looking for a more general forum, then there are plenty of other options out there that may suit your needs better. There are also some other forums that are dedicated to some specific topics, such as hardware, programming and development, gaming and so on, although I do not know how active they are at the moment.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: problem with my ETH balance ! on: January 06, 2023, 07:17:45 PM
thank you my friend, maybe yes this is a scam!

but I didn't realize how the hacker just accessed ETH and don't have access to USDT ?! if they have seed I think they can access all my funds! no?!

Is that really your wallet? Or did someone "accidentally" share his private key with you in a Telegram group or similar app?
If they have access to your seed or private key, they absolutely have access to all tokens on that wallet, including ETH and USDT, but that does not mean USDT is transferable.

i think maybe if i try to import this wallet on another wallet application (like electrum) with a 2FA password maybe I can stop accessing from the hacker ?! is it possible?

No. The private key, not any other kind of access protection you may have set up with the wallet software (such as a password), is what gives you control over your coins and tokens.

is there any other way to pay the network fees with other crypto or any other ways to save my money?

please tell me what you guess. thank you

My best guess is that you found the wallet on a random website or social networks with private key or seed. The wallet has been set up with a script or smart-contract that will automatically transfer the funds to a new wallet address. This is a common scam these days, and if that is the case, there is nothing you can do.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto payments for online purchases: Trends in 2022 on: January 06, 2023, 06:58:48 PM
Yes, this is a good example of crypto adoption. As more people around the world begin using cryptocurrency for online transactions, there will be greater demand for it. But while many retailers have begun accepting cryptocurrency, others are reluctant to do so - because they don't understand it or regard is as risky. Retailers are hesitant to accept crypto payments because they’re unsure how it will affect their business if something goes wrong - for example, if the price of Bitcoin suddenly drops. They don’t want to risk losing money by accepting a payment method that could be volatile.

But retailers are slowly realizing that there is no need for them to accept cryptocurrency payments directly. They can simply use a service like BitPay, CoinGate or Coinbase Commerce as an intermediary between their business and their customers. These companies will take care of all the complex technical stuff so retailers can focus on what they do best: selling products or services.
1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 06, 2023, 06:13:06 PM
Edited.  Sorry I was too quick too reply Yes my screen looks like this but I think my addresses begin with bc.   Following seed process it worked and accepted. Just trying for another withdrawal and address not accepted..would address of altered   to  bc?   So, I will try recall what I did first time. I think it is my error regarding trying to add another address not casino's. Hoped to just copy paste existing address or one from that list.  Still a little concerned that expires in a day..despite what you all saying. Just don't want give casino a excuse not to pay out saying that address no longer valid. WHY when creating seed does give option to never expire a  address. I chose 7 days.

I do not know if it is just me, but I am having trouble understanding the full meaning of your messages. Could you please be more clear and concise in your writing? As much as I would like to help you, I don't feel comfortable answering questions that I don't understand fully.

I can comment only on the last part of your question: the addresses in your Bitcoin wallet do not expire. So I don't know where you got such information from. If you are able to share a screenshot of something like that, please do so.

Edit: I noticed now that you made changes to your original message.

Looking at all your messages, though, I am afraid there is a significant risk that you will make a mistake somewhere and lose your coins! Creating a Bitcoin wallet and receiving payments is not as complicated as you make it out to be. With that in mind, I strongly recommend that you pause what you are doing and seek out the assistance of someone you trust.
1332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 05, 2023, 11:21:39 PM
Can i just pick the ( copy address ) next one down..i think i have 10 or 15 'green' ones.

Simple as that.  Have to say, i did try it, bc1 etc...and still didnt let me 'withdraw'..i dont think its the 'shady casino' in this case..i just think the first Electrum address i generated allowed me to put it in...addresses look the same, bc1....

If you did everything as o_e_l_e_o explained here, how did you get the addresses that start with "bc1"? All your addresses should start with "1" (legacy addresses).

Does your Electrum addresses windows look something like this?

There is no need to try bech32 addresses (bc1...) because you have already discovered that your "shady casino" only accepts legacy addresses.
1333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 05, 2023, 10:46:12 PM
Oh, definitely not too late! 47 is the perfect age to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon. In fact, some people say that the best time to invest was yesterday, and the second best time is today. If you think that 47 years is too old, just imagine how you will feel when you are 48 next year. Cheesy

So go ahead, join the party! Just make sure to do your research and invest wisely.
1334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nobody dont help us the traders let's help ourselfes now idea on: January 05, 2023, 10:27:14 PM

Bitcointalk admin can collect the funds.

Well, I am just spitballing here, but I doubt the bitcointalk admin would be too keen on that idea. But hey, it never hurts to ask!

I don't care who Will do it as long as someone will do it Im in crypto only to get money for me don't matter how i get it or who Will collect liquity funds as long as Market functioning the way to give maximum ammount of money to me.
I dont mind to donate Even more If i can make money we all can it's called power of unity power of crowd funding we collect money and put money to work For us.

Oh, of course, because it is not about supporting the project or contributing to the community, it is all about getting as much money as possible for yourself. It is all about the mighty dollar, right? And where do you think that money will come from? I am sure the other members of the community will be thrilled to know that they are just a means to an end for you. Good luck with that mentality.
1335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nobody dont help us the traders let's help ourselfes now idea on: January 03, 2023, 11:12:35 PM
Whos down for that idea ?

Oh wow, what a fantastic idea! Let us just ask the entire world to donate a measly $5 and all of our problems will be solved. I am sure there won't be any challenges or risks to this plan at all. I mean, who wouldn't want to give away $5 to fix the futures markets? This is definitely going to work.

One question, though. Who will be responsible for managing these funds? Are you volunteering for this role?
1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 03, 2023, 11:05:54 PM
The more I learn I am kind of coming to conclusion that trading in the long run is not profitable. I mean I don't know any single person who is doing decent amount of money for living by trading in crypto. Hence the question: do you know anyone who is successful trading in crypto? or are you doing well by trading crypto?

Did you know that the first recorded Bitcoin trade occurred in 2010, when a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz offered 10,000 Bitcoins (worth about $40 at the time) to anyone who would order him a pizza? Today, those 10,000 Bitcoins would be worth over $160 million! Clearly, there are people out there who have been able to make some serious profits through trading cryptocurrencies. However, in order to effectively buy and sell coins in the market, one must have a deep understanding of the market trends and factors that can affect the price of different cryptocurrencies. Additionally, it is essential to have strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on data and evidence.

So, it is important to note that it takes a lot of skill and knowledge to effectively trade in the market. It is not something that can be achieved overnight, but with hard work and dedication it is possible to become proficient at trading.

Right! WILL DO.

Going in - wish me luck!

There... sent it...went through...waiting...could be a half days wait or 5min..till its 'rejected'!! who knows)

I looking forward to my bitcoins!!! ( IF it works....see how stuipt i am..i actually think im going to get it!!...if it works..i will make a final request...i only withdraw couple hundred..still have 150euro left in there....so....i will do the exact same process...generate a new seed..just..click the button....simple as that...and in my wallet i will have  2 lots of bitcoins amounting to around 350 euro. Right? )

( Wont keep bugging the forum, sorry for the emails...and the metrobank..they advising me to try some Weinsteinbank?? looked it up etc...i dunno...2023..stay away from casinos right!! wakeup call!! )

You do not need to generate a new seed for a new transaction. It is perfectly fine to create a new withdrawal to the same BTC address again. All addresses from your wallet are reusable.
1338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 01, 2023, 10:28:55 PM
I feel like im going to go ...... !!!

SO - Neurotic.....i went into 'view' and what comes up is a LOAD of 'receiving' ( green colour ) and a few 'yellow' colours. What the...is that!!!!!

SO... TOTALLY CONFUSED.

What are they? i am now worried...i give the dodgy casino a address..which is useless so even if they were geninue...id still not get the monies!!

There is no need to worry or feel unsure about this process. We are here to guide you through it step by step, so just take a deep breath and be patient. We will help you through it.

The bunch of green (and orange) addresses you see in the Address tab of your wallet are all your addresses. You can use any of them to receive funds.

-  HERES what i was going to do.    Please just tell me, its right.

- I have ( already ) pressed, Receive ( following on from previous instructions from previous email ) , and an addreess comes up, as mentioned 7days...thanks for explaining that....i didnt put the amount in.  That ok>?      SO....i will take this address and give it too casino site ( which as mentioned i tried..and works...in that seems ok...but havent pressed the actual withdraw button ).

THATS IT.  yes? Ignore all those green and yellows addresses! in the View TAB.

Yes, that should be fine. Double check that the address shown in the Receive tab of your wallet is identical to the one you pasted in the casino (visually check at least the last few digits). It is a good idea to start by withdrawing the smallest possible amount to ensure that everything is working correctly.
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 01, 2023, 10:04:58 PM
i have no intention of wasting my year doing this..so ..thats it... try this..and leave the forum alone!!!!

Initially, you asked about the Blockchain.com web wallet... It is worth noting that web wallets, such as Blockchain.com, are not the most secure way to access your bitcoins. This is because it is possible to accidentally end up on a fake website (called a phishing site) and lose your funds if you're not careful. However, if you still want to try a web wallet, you might consider Bitamp Wallet as an alternative. Bitamp is a user-friendly, open-source Bitcoin wallet that operates on the client-side and supports both legacy and newer addresses. You can find more information about Bitamp at the following link: https://www.bitamp.com/ or in their ANN thread.

While desktop wallets like Electrum are generally considered to be a more secure option, it sounds like using one may not be feasible for you at this time. In this case, a web wallet could be a good alternative for your needs. With a web wallet, you can easily generate a legacy address to receive funds from the casino and then transfer them to an exchange with just a few clicks.

Edit:
It looks like you have been able to get the Electrum wallet set up and running. If you want to receive funds, you can go to the Receive Tab and create a new Request. When prompted, make sure to select "Address" rather than "URI" in the options provided. Once you have done that, you should see your BTC address displayed in the window on the right. This address will start with "1" and can be used to receive funds.

Can someone please translate and explain to me what writer wanted to say?

I, and my robotic friend who knows a lot about these things, will try to help you. Here you go:

Quote from: CoinPayCard.net
You seem to be deluded, in my opinion. I have already clearly answered your question in this topic: shorturl.at/mxELN Your question had nothing to do with the service we provide.

As you mentioned in your private message, you requested to test our cards for free. If you had given us time, we would have responded to your request. However, you have been posting random things and giving neutral (negative) feedback without any basis. It is unfortunate, because based on your comments on this platform, it seems that you do this a lot. In my estimation, 90% of your comments do not contribute any value to this forum, and I believe that users like you are causing this forum to decline. Your tendency to ask the same questions repeatedly and make unfounded opinions without doing any research is causing companies to view this forum as an inappropriate place to advertise.

It is important to question things, but when you are not satisfied with the answer given, it is not productive to continue ranting about unrelated topics.

On the other hand, 90% of the users here are great, providing valuable opinions or asking well-researched questions.

Did you get it now? Cheesy

Sorry everyone for being so strong to bring down this forum with my 10% evil fellow members.
I hope things will be better for good companies in 2023, and they don't have to answer any questions at all.

Oh no, it is a shame that good companies have to suffer because of users like you, who ask so many pesky questions. How do you not know that they should be able to do whatever they want without any accountability or scrutiny?  Grin
