1341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 25, 2022, 06:18:41 AM
Using personal strategy to trade is like driving your personal car in a long journey with a little fuel to get to your destination. Since we are still experiencing bear season in the community, it will really help you to know so many things in the crypto market when you involve your personal strategy to carry out your crypto trading in the market. Just try your possible best to apply personal strategy in this season so that you will know that is more favourable to use personal strategy to trade in the market to experience income than using other people strategy to trade in the market
The fuel should be the money that you put in trading. It is low fuel if you put low amounts but full tank if you put massive amounts but unlike driving a real car, more fuel or money in trading can be very risky because the exchange might get hack or the exchange can control your funds. You can also lose it personally if you are weak in trading. In what way a bear can help a trader?

I guess it's when the traders aren't actively trading in bear but they can use that spare time to seek for a better strategy right? In conclusion, it wasn't totally wrong to follow other starts but we should also have our own original start and we will use it more often than them.
1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 24, 2022, 07:16:34 AM
Pakistan lost to the cool cricket of Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. Pakistan put the Indian batsmen under a lot of pressure in the first ten overs. And India were under a lot of pressure after losing the top order. The way India bounced back from that situation really turned into a nightmare for the Pakistan team. Pakistan is going to win this match, this kind of confidence was seen among the Pakistani players. And this over confidence helped them to take wrong decisions.
Although Pakistan lost, I want to praise them, the way they put pressure on India is really commendable. Pakistan bowlers have performed brilliantly. But we have to talk about Virat Kohli, because of him India won today. But there is some controversy about the no ball in the last over. Had it not been a no ball, Pakistan could have won.
Surely they deserved some praise because after having the worst start of this match and quality bowling from Indian pacers they reach at the target of 160 is amazing job from their middle order and after this batting their bowlers were also amazing in their first spell and take four quick wickets but here Babar Azam done few mistakes and feel overconfidence which cost them match, and two match winners steal the show from them with their cool and experienced batting specially Virat play his one of the best inning which is now allowing him to stay in all formats with Team India for next four or five years because he also deserves something special after this worst time which give him great spirit for fight back and done again good job for his team and country.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2022, 06:15:09 AM
In Bayern Munich's match with TSG Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich dominated the game and had very good ball possession and finally managed to get them to win against Hoffenheim, at least Bayern Munich has got the strength to get another win and this should be the main point in the recovery process from frequent defeats.
with the quality of hoffeinheim players today, it will be very difficult for them to win from bayern even if it's playing at home to hoffenheim, musiala and moting were impressive, the goals they scored proved their quality

today union vs bochum is a match that should not be missed, i bet for union win, it must be very easy for them
Unfortunately what you bet on Union Berlin is not what you expected, unexpectedly Union Berlin was defeated easily by VfL Bochum, this shows that we should not underestimate other clubs because they still have the potential to be strong and can beat big clubs when they managed to take advantage of existing opportunities like Bochum did.
I agreed with you in soccer any time we can expect a major upset which happen in this match as bottom side team beats top rank Union Berlin with this now Bundesliga is also back on normality Bayern Munich can take back their seat any time with gape is just one point and Union Berlin performance is also on decline with Frankfurt and Dortmund both are improving their performance which bring back these both teams at higher rank.

Bochum after having five straight defeats in this season then first draw and now two wins in last three matches with both wins against top rank teams mean they can do better in coming matches as well which can bring them out of the relegation zone, but sadly Schalke is not improving and now at the bottom of league table which is surely terrible.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: October 24, 2022, 05:14:03 AM
Very successful weekend for Ajax Amsterdam without a doubt. They themselves brought home three points solidly and all the closest three contenders failed with Alkmaar closing that race for the weekend with a loss also.
An important round for Ajax, all other leaders have bounced this round only Ajax won their game confidently. PSV and AZ lost, but Feyenoord saved a draw.

Ajax now have 3 very difficult games ahead of them, first 2 Champions League games and then the game against PSV.
Ajax widening gape from second spot team PSV and now have lead of four points which is good after winning their match on road against Waalwijk and PSV have their third defeat of this season and all happening on road matches and with lost against Arsenal in UEFA Europa Cup this is fourth defeat which is not good indication for them because there are aiming for having spot in Champions League for this they have to improve performance and quality which give them better results in all conditions.

Feyenoord ended in a draw at home against Sittard which is also playing good and able to steal points against team like Feyenoord which is not third in league table with some points of PSV but goals difference is bringing them down hopefully they could be also better in coming days and AZ Alkmaar now dropped from top to fourth after losing second match in a row.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really inevitable? on: October 23, 2022, 04:15:32 PM
Broad adoption without regulation is impossible imo. If you want bitcoin to be adopted widely then you need to accept regulations by the governments. The regulations will make crypto exchanges look like banks because of the KYC enforcement (if it hasn't happened already) and that is not a good thing. Crypto means freedom and KYC is the exact opposite of being free. We are trying to escape the FIAT slavery system but regulations will turn crypto into a similar thing.
Indeed because there are countries who currently ban cryptos but they might change their minds for one condition and that is if people will agree for the crypto to be regulated by them. This is hard but this is better than nothing. At least people can still experience if what are cryptos.

Crypto exchanges (the centralized one) were already look like a bank even before because they can hold and freeze the users funds. Not all centralized exchanges mandate a KYC but if they did and we don't like it then we can switch on decentralized exchanges. Regulations can also be avoided but there might be some inconveniences that we might felt.
1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DID YOU STUDY? WHAT DID YOU LEARN? on: October 22, 2022, 08:51:42 PM
What we have learned in bitcoin forums is pretty much enough for all of us. Here you can create positions like work and eat.But cryptocurrency is pretty much the same no matter where one studies. But the trading platform is completely different. You must be more knowledgeable about the trading platform. You always have to analyze each coin and market and move forward otherwise you cannot trade on the trading platform. To become a master trader you must be highly knowledgeable on the trading platform.
I think there are no other bitcoin/crypto forums who are better than bitcointalk. Other bitcoin forums are small and there are not enough informations on them but even some of the members of our forum still goes to other sites to expand their crypto knowledge.

I know because they post links here which url's are not from bitcointalk. Work and eat are not a job position but that is something to do possible if you are working from home. There are careers here in bitcointalk which allows us to work at the comfort of our own homes so we can do what we want. Trading is no different with that since you can always use a trading bot to automate your trades.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: October 22, 2022, 01:33:20 PM
The economy is moving towards digitization. Digital dollar is just another way of digital payment. A lot of countries have released their own digital dollars. But they do not provide the benifits of Bitcoin. They  are not an asset, but just a storehouse of value..while Bitcoin is a free market asset.
Don't forget that bitcoin is also a currency other than being an asset. Digital dollar can be use an alternative to bitcoin in terms of currency use. They are stable and perfect for those who get annoyed in the volatility of btc when making a transaction. Digital dollar has their own value but they are not a store of value because they are not like btc which you can put more money in it.

The only problem with btc is that its value can sometimes dump hard but the real definition of store of value is that assets that don't depreciate in value. Btc can recover if given enough time, I think this is the reason why they insist that btc is a store of value.
1348  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s going to make Bitcoin turn from a downward to an upward trend? on: October 22, 2022, 10:49:23 AM
I agree Bitcoin can go to about $12000 - $15000 downwards. Check out this link for what’s going to make it turn to an upward trend again. I think this is the most accurate answer I’ve gotten so far
https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cjo7KL3LMxu/?igshid=NDRkN2NkYzU=
yeah another Instagram account to be followed , lol if bitcoin tend to go down there is nothing we can do but accept it so either will go down turn or up? who really cares while the whole world now is suffering ?

Upward will surely come but it is about TIME to expect.

but if this going to happen this soon? then I will be in favor as i am buying a chunk with that low price .
There is one or more things that we can do when the market is falling down and that would be; buying, selling at a loss, and just simply hodling. Buying can prevent the price to dump more if more people are going to do it and it can even help the price to recover and rise.

A lot of us could care whatever the movement btc is making because each of us has our own goals. One is to sell for a profit so they don't want the price to go down at the moment but for those who already done selling, they are now waiting for the price to go down so that they can buy bitcoins again. For now, no one knows what can happen since the market is so confusing so better not expect much.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: October 21, 2022, 03:35:04 PM
For some months, cryptocurrency is in a down falling trend which is the main cause.
The market of cryptocurrency is not something we can as well think about, because when looking at it. Cryptocurrency is something we know falling is not a new thing and it's rising is not new experience starting from the introduction of the day Bitcoin was launched. So the falling of Bitcoin do cryptocurrency of the awareness worldwide and rising of Bitcoin is applicable to the impact the falling contributes in cryptocurrency acceleration as well.
It's not a new thing for us, but for those who are newbie here, this could be a surprised for them to see the market going down at the start of the month. Nevertheless, this is a bear market wherein the price really goes down throughout this cycle, around 3-4 years if I'm not mistaken.

So we need to have the mental fortitude and courage to just stay in the market for now. Or just simply buy during a dip because the price of bitcoin is at a discount.
For us experienced users we will see this dip as an advantage but not for a newbie, they can only panic, sell and then get out because they freaked out but some of them will give cryptos a second chance once they heard it is recovering again. That's only the time for them to know that dips and pumps are only part of the game and dips are not permanent but it will also depend on the coins that they pick.

A scam coin will always experience a permanent dip but bitcoins and other legit coins will always recover after some time. It can be longer sometimes like on what we experience now so patience is also needed on here, not just knowledge alone.
1350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: October 20, 2022, 06:46:59 PM
Which problem you are facing right now, BTC is able to fix it ... That's obvious there is no known asset more devisable then BTC if there is then I am not aware of it.  In my view BTC is nothing more then financial freedom and that what matter as if my funds are in my control then what is better then that. So I think BTC don't need us but we need BTC as Satoshi knows everything he might be a genius in Economics.
Let say I have a problem with my wife, can btc be able to fix it? No. What problem btc can solve are only limited or mostly money related since it was a currency. Btc is better than fiat money because they are not tied in the banks or governments therefore we can attain a financial freedom this way but keep in mind that there are now regulations that are popping out in cryptos.

Usually they can be found on the platforms that we are using like centralized exchanges. I think this interferes the true purpose of btc but there is always a way to avoid them. Btc needs us so that btc can become strong and we also need btc to help us solve our issues in terms of finances.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: October 20, 2022, 02:23:51 PM
Indeed for Thailand they are show us if they are growing at the ASEAN level in the last decade. However, even though they are getting stronger in ASEAN, to be honest, I'm not sure about their performance at Asian competitions level. Thailand will lose to compete with the top 5 teams from ASIA such as South Korea, Japan, China, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
That's right, my friend, although Thailand is very good at coaching from a young age and continues to regenerate, if you enter a higher level, you will always have problems with other Asian countries. It must be admitted that for ASEAN countries it is still very difficult to improve until now, because East Asia (China, Japan, Korea) until now still can always perform well.
I agree that the top 5 teams are still held by the state, which is no longer just player development but has entered as a player at a professional level.
ASEAN still has to improve and look for methods that can be appropriate and able to improve in the future
Asia is full of adventures which are not favourable for sports, so they are far behind in soccer as well from Africa because UEFA and CONMEBOL are superior and right now Africa on good development but here we have not strong system and facilities are also not good in many countries which are hurting quality and skills.

Even I have feeling after Japan, Korea and China ASEAN have good potential but still it's a long way to go for them because they need few things which give them strong sponsorships and better quality here we have the biggest issue we never take this sport as big industry as right now Africa doing which will bring good relationship with UEFA because they are the biggest market and have good way of investment as they will import players from here.
1352  Other / Archival / Re: Q4 2022. What to expect from bitcoin? on: October 19, 2022, 08:05:51 PM
I expect Bitcoin price would still stay around $19K-$21K since the economic recession and western economy are still not in good condition, so there's not many huge cash circulation on Bitcoin volume. I heard next year economy will be bad too, Bitcoin might slightly recovering on the next year. Many government also trying to make FUD regarding Bitcoin energy consumption too, so I don't expect Bitcoin price will pump at this and the next year.
There is less money that will enter in btc but many of the btc users would sell some of their btc so to support their life outside making the price of btc decline. If the economy remains the same till next year then I don't think a recovery will happen but the price can rather dump more.

The issue about btc energy consumption isn't new but it was only opened up again after they witness that eth is transferring to proof of stake but I don't think this can contribute a lot in terms of price reduction. Miners can always use renewable energy anyway if they want to and still continue supporting btc. Governments should tell the truth that they only hate btc, not that they look concerned about the environment.
1353  Economy / Economics / Re: Switching The World To Renewable Energy Will Cost $62 Trillion on: October 19, 2022, 05:05:11 PM
62 trillion is a huge amount and I am not sure how this amount is reached! However, even if this happens, that will happen phase wise and not in one go! This will also gradually eliminate the need of traditional energy production which has its own environmental benefits.
It's a huge amount and few countries like Germany is much focused on moving everything to renewable energy. This is gonna cost big, but the capital will be compensated in the long term out of the fund generated. Beyond all the money facts, it makes environment better for human survival.
Germany? But, I thought it was Japan and Singapore are the first countries to be emission free in the next couple of years. I saw that on an advertisement before but I think that was true since all us know how strict and clean that two countries are.

I am not really familiar with Germany but maybe they are also following the footsteps of those said countries. People are aware that some governments are corrupt and they think that it's one of the effects of corruption on why idea's like this (using renewable energies) are not being adopted up to this date. It was not really the high cost but corrupt governments are only using that as an excuse.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 18, 2022, 08:10:41 PM
Brighton actually do play well I was actually surprised when Brighton was beaten by Brentford by 2 goals by I think in this case I think brighton  as an hedge against and still playing 0:0 after half time from the odd the difference is clear given Brighton given Brighton 1.52 and  Nottingham with about 11 odd and Brighton have 4  on target already and Nottingham have 0 shots on target, Brighton with 68 percent ball possession it shows that Brighton is willing to win and predictable might end draw that is football for you, the game is just one of a kind so entertaining.
Today Brighton doing good job in this match and having good control on ball but until 75th minute they fail to convert their any chance which is surely a big setback for them after coach Graham Potter they are playing their third match, and measurably they fail to score any goal which is surely the worst case for them as they were in early weeks many were expecting something special from them, but suddenly change of coach is having the biggest drop for them.

And now they are struggling badly for having any positive result which is not coming and if they keep playing like this then surely this could be serious issue for the new coach and management because results like these can drop them down even they can go near relegation zone as many teams are improving performance and trying to have better position in league table.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: October 18, 2022, 02:46:22 PM
Ecuador will definitely put a fight. Basically any team from South America has the possibility of going to the next stage, they're all pretty good. Brazil and Argentina are outstanding, but the rest of the continent is really good and they have only 2.5 slots to fight for(the other 2 are always taken by Brazil and Argentina) , so usually whoever else qualifies is doing pretty well.

As you say, Senegal is playing well, and Qatar is the host, so that means that it's going to be a tough one for The Netherlands. I don't see them not going to the next stage, but they might end up in second place. And the other team that goes through?, no idea, it's going to be tough, but my guess is Ecuador.
In this group even things are not easy for any team but still we can expect Netherlands as group leader because they are superior in quality and skills from their opponents and for second spot things are not easy because Senegal is African Champions, and they have good improvement in last few years with good players available which have good experience and skills for giving good results and Ecuador is also good team with their aggressive style and quality is also good Qatar which is surely the weakest side can go with home advantage even they still have no good chances for going into next round, but they can give tough competition to all opponents specially Ecuador and this can give good advantage to Senegal for having chance for going into next round because for me, they are superior from their both opponents in current form.
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another example is how greed destroy crypto investors. on: October 18, 2022, 06:41:50 AM
Sorry to hear but this is a fact. I have been a victim of this many times, But in forex trading. The point is to learn the lesson no matter how it is learned. The easiest way to avoid this kind of experience I think is if you exit a project and it gets pumped then at least avoid getting into it again or should wait for a long correction.
yes, and that experience seems to almost everyone who has been in the crypto world for a long time. the same thing happened to me too, it's just, the coins I hold, I never sell them, even when they hit high ATH. it made me regret when the price of the coin dumped so far. Even today, I still hold on to it. because from that experience, I always take the opportunity when I have made a profit, and avoid entering a project when the price is still very high, or still reaches its ATH.
So what is your point of buying and hodling if you won't sell them even at their ath? Don't tell me that you are just a coin collector? But I think it won't work on here since cryptos has a lot of supply and there are always people that are willing to sell their coins for some cold cash. What coins was that by the way? If that was btc, eth or other top crypto then the decision of hodling it until now can be fine but if not then you will have a slim chance for them to recover.

You only need a miracle and some whales may try to pump it up. The last thing that you said is correct however there are still people like the op who are tempted to ride a moving train. Some of them are already lucky to earn but they got greedy and expect for more so what they receive instead is a bad karma or a loss.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 17, 2022, 09:22:52 PM
Lewandowski is a fucking clown. He deserves what he got. He made all this mess with the scandalous departure from Bavaria, although he could have played at the highest level for at least a year (and most likely even further) and become the top 1 scorer in Bayern history. Now his achievements look doubtful - yes, he has a good average performance in Barcelona, but in the "big" games his performance sags a lot.
Barcelona have a formal chance of reaching the next round, but what can they do there with such a rotten game?
I doubt that they would win enough games to go to next stage, but at the same time I wouldn't be really that hard on bayern neither, it just doesn't feel the same way. I mean Lewandowski is a person and he has every right to go to any team he wants.

This isn't talked about when players go back to their childhood club, like if today Ronaldo decided to leave for sporting, nobody would say a thing because it’s obviously not for achievement but because it’s his childhood club, and sort of same happened for United too. But when Lewa wanted to move to Barcelona, why did people assume it was for success or traitor to bayern? Bayern is a better club anyway, he just wanted it for personal reasons.
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may drop to $15k or so but it'll definitely hit $300k+ in coming years on: October 17, 2022, 07:29:01 PM
That's just my thoughts. Maybe by 2024, unless all hell breaks loose.

As long as internet keeps chugging along though, BTC will prevail. Smiley

I won't predict what will be the all-time low this bear season and what will be the all-time high next bull season, because predictions are just predictions, let them happen naturally. But I will agree with you that bitcoin will rise again is a certainty and bitcoin will continue to stay with us over time, as long as our need remains, bitcoin will always be there.

The price increase will be meaningless if you don't own any bitcoins, so the first priority right now is to hold bitcoins, have you filled your bitcoin wallet yet? if not, buy now and don't stop if it continues to fall, the more bitcoin falls after that, the stronger the upside momentum. Don't miss this golden moment.
It's more easier to predict the atl because the price is already low than the ath because we are far from it. It's hard to say that we can go till 300k when we never touch 100k yet. I think ill only believe on the op's claim once it happened first. Btc is not a god that will stay and provide you the things that you want so don't ask or expect too much on it especially if you don't do something to help the price rise like buying and hodling.

There are people who only watch out the price of btc but they don't invest so it's fine for them seeing btc rise but for us who are solid btc supporters then many of us already bought btc before or by the time the bear started.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Back To Promoting Doge as a Payment Method for New Cologne on: October 16, 2022, 08:48:51 PM
Maybe he find expensive to manipulate bitcoin that's why he find more cheaper coins which is not controlled by anyone and easily to be manipulate. For sure he needs more profit that's why he goes back promoting doge again.

For now will see some constant changes to the doge since I want to ride what Elon Musk doing at the moment. Also for new players of doge be careful not to hodl to much since whenever Musk start to manipulate for sure he is the one who will dump it once Doge price rise up for more.
Doge coin's value might be cheap but its supply is much bigger than in bitcoin. The supporter of doge coin is also huge so I think manipulating this coin is also hard as btc most especially now that people have woken up from the reality and they are now aware that Elon is not really their ally.

Elon is a rich guy so saying that he needs more profit sounds a little bit weird but it can also be possible because Elon have different deals and last time he planned to buy twitter so that would have costed them huge amounts of money. Good luck to you by the way on what you are planning. I hope you will be successful with it even if I am not that bullish with doge.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone explain to me why did ETH drop after the merge? on: October 16, 2022, 08:06:53 PM
There is no reason besides the market conditions that are being bearish that makes the price of ETH drop after Merge, and many analysts say that Merge Eth does not really have any impact let alone affect investors to buy ETH, everything is normal because the market conditions that are still bearish make ETH drop after Merge.
Merger doesn't have any impact on ethereum? Who told you so and is he an expert or just an idiot who talks nonsense? Merger has a very positive impact on ethereum, in addition to reducing eth supply, it also makes eth eco-friendly when moving to POS. The only problem with eth is that the move to POS has become more centralized and this is disliked by many.
I think what he mean there is there aren't any "negative" impact. It won't be called a merge for no reason but there are noticeable effects on it on eth and few of them is already given above by you though I don't think the supply of eth have reduced but they only make it more known while it's true that proof of stake is more friendly to the environment than proof of work.

They say that the merge make eth more centralized but a lot of us won't really care at all because even before, we already consider eth to be like that (centralized) and this is why we avoid it at all cost. Those who wonder why eth price pumps and dumps didn't realize this yet.
