Lakers game line is down to +6. I don't know why it's moving but my guess is everyone leaning in on Bron this series. At home I think -6 for Denver should be easy Pickens. If they double jokic they are in trouble. If they leave him one of one with Davis he can get him into foul trouble and make him work too much to be effective on offense. For me, Tatum and Jaylen Brown is the best duo in the league and it will take a lot from Miami to step either one of them.
It looks like an easier win for the Celtics if you looks at the roster for each team. Heat has Buttler and not so many great individual players unlike the Sixers who have Embiid and Harden. They have Lowry but they can't really rely on him the entire series and I bet he'll be out injured in one or two games. I think it's another difficult match up in reality. Celtics have more talented players but Heat plays really good as a team and they hustle. This could be a six or seven game series. Yes, we know that the Celtics will be the favorite in this series, not just every game. But just like in the Sixers series there could be unexpected results, like Sixers stealing game 1 for them. But they were able to get it back and win it in 7, so not every easy. And as we are now in the conference finals, it will be harder against the veteran Miami Heat. We thought that they are done, but this experience players specially Jimmy Butler still has one aces down in their sleeves and will everything they got against the Celtics. so it could really be six or seven series again. Heat have much more fight in them then sixers have. As a knicks fan watching them relentlessly hit the boards, get every 50/50 ball, make the right reads, etc over and over again was impressive to watch. I do think the Celtics will come out of this one but it's not going to be a cakewalk for them. |

Greed is the only thing holding this thing up. I'd steer clear so you aren't the one holding the bag at the end.

I've been interested in adding Optimism and ImmutableX to my portfolio but their price has been inflated after big run ups.
Now they are both in freefall and I'm considering an entry point.
How do you decide where to take the plunge? A certain %drop from the top or a %above bottom?
Or do you just look at previous levels as the traders always mention, Optimism is getting close to some previous tops at $1.3 for example?
Or do you get buy targets from another source?
When things are plunging or spiking my best advise would be to just cost average in. Many reasons for it but for me it limits the downside risk so if you buy a little and it keeps falling you aremt all in and can continue to buy. It eliminates the need to try to call the bottom. And if it spikes its not like you were completely out of it and can catch some of the uptick. Either way good luck with your adventure on stacking sats! |

Hopefully the Lakers can beat Denver and repeat what happened in the bubble.
And this has brought up that the bubble doesn't really count for the Lakers champ title. I do hope that this is going to clear all of those doubters against the bubble and even against the Lakers. History has been made for both Western and Eastern Conference because they both have teams that are still alive since play-in tournament up until now. If this is a rematch from the bubble then maybe we will see another rematch when it comes to the Finals, what do you think folks? Is it possible?
Everything is possible as of now and we just have to wait until the games are all started. For now, everything is going to be a speculation and this is a nice coincidence that we've never thought of. I'm hoping they don't I don't need to see the same 4 tes cycle through the finals over and over again. I'd love to see Denver play in the finals. See what jokic can do on the grand stage of the NBA. Ouch! The Boston Celtics took the life away from the Philadelphia 76ers. The 1st half was fun until Jayson Tatum got hot and it's totally over. He passed the record made by Steph Curry on a Game 7 points made. 50 for Steph passing KD and now the crown is on Tatum with 51 points. Bad man.  I was wondering when will James Harden erupt at attacking the paint but he seems scared to put it there and make an offensive attack. The usual playoff James Harden is not yet gone. This is how he panicked back on Houston Rockets and it happened again. It ain't about lack of experience, he choked again. Joel Embiid did not play like an MVP too, it's either Horford is really good at defending him or he forgot that he has one more weapon which is perimeter shots but he is not taking it. I didn't like the plays, most of them are kick-out passes with no accuracy on where the ball will go. 1/2. At least I won the Over 198.5. Congrats to the Celtics bettors. All spreads are covered. Kind of a predictable game. Everyone kept saying taytum is overated and then dude drops 50 in a game 7 do or die game. There are players and then theor are special players who rise to the occasion. I'd take this dude on my team any day any game. I hope they take care of business with miami and expect them to. Gonna be tough for the east to come out and win it this year the west just looks so top heavy dominant. |

I'm leaning in on the Celtics right now. In a game 7 unless it's a 1/2 point game there should be some fouls at the end and desperation shots. Gonna take the Celtics-6 but to hedge my bet I'm gonna take the sixers +3 in the first half. Hoping for a tight game and then a bust out fourth quarter for the Celtics. The only thing I fear is the foul merchant duo of embid and Hardin will be top quality foul drawers today.

Ja Morant is trying to be a rapper rather than a NBA player. Shannon Sharpe was right in his claim that Ja was "hustling backwards."
Oh crap, not again. Let's wait for the confirmation if it's a real gun or not. But assuming it is. The question of "Why?" will come out. Why does he always bring a gun? Is America not that safe anymore? Are they back to being the Wild Wild West? Is he on drugs or did some screws come out? A lot of money is at stake in his name and he will be wasting it if ever the NBA decides to cut him from being a player due to this problem. I want to hear what Jalen Rose will say about this. Many of my buddies made a mint betting the Lakers to beat the Warriors. Are most people here betting the Lakers to beat Denver in 6 as well? The Lakers are gelling at the right time.
I think AD can neutralize Jokic better than any of the remaining centers and it will be a replay of the results of the bubble series.
I mean anything is possible but I've yet to see anyone neutralize jokic. Dude is bounds ahead of anyone in the game even embid I think. The x factor in this series will be the guard play. And gimme the golden state warriors ML to win the game.

They’re saying Chris Paul is done in Phoenix. Vegas currently has the odds on Chris Paul being with the Lakers next season. This wouldn’t surprise me at all as LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul. I’m not sure having an injury prone Chris Paul on the roster with Anthony Davis will be great for the postseason. They’ll probably talk about it during tonight’s game.
Poor chris paul, he is a really good player but he cant win a ring. And Lakers... need to take care about the elderly of their player, Lebron its the King but he is now nearby to 40 years old, and Crish its in the same path. I know they have some youngers but its complicated this BIG players always want to play all the minutes they can, and we know how it ended, with a ton of fights between players, and capping the youngers.
About games, i think Miami - Boston its gonna be in the east the final. And in the west i dont have a clue, because between GS and Lakers, its just how sharp the splash brothers are what define the serie. He would be perfect for Lakers they love aging stars. In all honesty it's probably a good fit but with cp3, Bron and AD you will never know how healthy any of them will be and for how long they could sustain all being on the court together. But at this point Bron can pick his teammates so I see this happening as well. |

2 very intriguing games today. I would really love to see the Warriors extending their series and then proceeding to the western finals to rematch with Denver. I want to see how it goes when Jokic got help compared to last season. The Lakers however have the homecourt advantage and are so far 5-0 at home in this playoffs. This is the time that the Warriors need their deep experience and put their offense effectively while at the same time maintaining a steady defense. Andrew Wiggins though suffering from a rib injury wants to play but it remains to be seen how effective he will be especially in guarding Lebron James.
I have a -3 bet on Miami. I have more confidence that they will end their series against NYK today and avoids a game 7 on the road. But this may be close as hungry yet inexperienced NYK will try to force a game 7 at home.
The Warriors will have a very tough time winning tonight. Looks like Anthony Davis is going to play. If the Warriors can keep him off the boards and Klay, Steph, and Draymond have good nights, then they have a shot. Anything less and they will be out. Miami probably ends the series tonight. The Knicks have no heart. Look for Brunson to have a good game, but jusy not good enough. Miami closes it out at home. Golden state will need one of steph or klay to have a clean 40/50 point night (meaning not on 40 shots). And how does the Knicks have no heart? This is never going to end. I'm sure this is just one of many that happen every week. When gambling on this you need to take that into consideration. And the lower the stakes or league the better chance. When players make low salaries for a particular sport they are more influenced to throw the game. Same with the refs or umps. Just part of the gig. This isn't that surprising.

The "big 3" of NY was impressive though, especially Brunson obviously.
Yes, Brunson performed well as the Knicks were able to beat the Heat thanks to his 38 points. However, it's also worth noting that Brunson was on the court for 48 minutes. In other words, Thibodeau didn't let him rest during the game at all, and it seems to me that it's not a good coach's strategy because it's a big stress for Brunson's body, and he might not have enough time to recover before the next game. Thibs has no choice, his backup would have been Immanuel quickly and he is hurt. Thibs runs a 9 man rotation and in a do or die game you can't throw someone out there who hasn't played in 2 months. Maybe during the season but not in the playoffs. Quentin grimes also ran 48 minutes as well. I expect a little of the same tonight as well, these dudes are in their 20s and in tip top shape I think they will be fine lol. |
