You must be new here lol , we see this cycle every six to eight months , prices on eth go up and
every tom dick and harry starts to buy up cards. Eventually difficulty will skyrocket and prcies will stay flat
or go down then the frenzy stops.
Give it a month all two, when all these new cards hit the network difficulty will probably hit around 250k
then the 1200 eth price wont be as profitable, we will be back to normal profitablity from back in december
at that point fools who paid 600 to 800 per card will be looking at a normal 8 month roi again , they come to their sensess and cards go back in stock.
thats when you should be buying cards after the frenzy ends not during unless you are getting good prices

well BTC has been down a few weeks so we know there will be a BTC pump in a month or two so I'm kinda waiting on that but i was in the wager ICO i sold some to get my investment back but now I need around 7000
more to get a master node so i need to make a decision if it will be worth it
Only you can make that decision bro. But if you're holding 18k now, maybe adding 7k makes sense. Would be depressing if it rises to quickly after the release and makes it to expansive for you to ever run the masternode. dust is my biggest concern its so anoying to enter the garage and see a layer of dust over everything, you will need to be onsite once every two to thrre months to blow dust and clean since u have open air rigs dust and bugs are a huge enemy.
if you must bring in air use a filter, but for my builds i prefer to just exhuast air from the roof, that way minimize amount of particles coming in. I run my six fans all the time exhausting they onky use 150watt less than some gpus so just let them run, unless you have an issue with low humidity , for serve farms the cooler the better

@Claymore, did you look at the Parity stratum mode? I remember it was expected to be implemented in future updates. Now more ETHash coins are coming which can be mined solo until difficulty increases. Would be good to have stratum mode for Parity.

This is hardly an innovative or otherwise new "solution". Additionally, this still offers little room for scalability, regardless of what you think about the price difference between this and a "bare bones" 1070.
lol where did i say its inovative ? its an easy aolution for people who only have a laptop you obviously did not read any of the post, a normal 1070 is $500 atm the box gpu is $599 , plus you get a 450 watt psu and other features who is talking about scaling etc , its just another way to get in the mining game |

Also get a nice spiffy case and led lights the thing is tiny. Im my breif tests it connects and installs as if u plugged in a pcie card,no drivers software needed on win 10 creators I have a 1060 6gb in my laptop so now in Afterburner i see both. currently using both on eth and lbr to test and i run the 1060 at ethi 2 so i get 15mhs eth 15lbr 65 degrees stock mem the gaming box gets 30mhs eth 37 lbry at 600 mem and 85 powerlmit i tried lower powelimits like my desktop cards but i think its a thunderbolt thing illconnect them both to a wattmeter later. So there you have it , easy gpu mining on any laptop with windows and thunderbolt withoute killing you laptop. like i said all prices on cards are high at the moment so its not a bad idea to pick one of these up. High quality 1070 8gb, great cooling , temps stay at 75 in my hot bedroom and its quiter than the laptop itself |

Hello guys, I am new to the minning thing and I am thinking about getting some X10 units. I saw that if I mine on Nicehash I would have 2300 $ a month or so. Is that for real? And can I get higher than that using other pools? A friend of mine suggested that I might, but I cannot find this info anywhere. Some help with this would be much appreciated  lol the cheapest x10 on ebay is like 8k not worth buying wait until baikal release the b then they will probably open sales |
