1401  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 23, 2015, 07:33:29 AM
Edit: A guy with 1008 activity and you have the same probability to become Legendary cause it's random until 1050 activity is achieved.
Perhaps the words used are not the most correct, though the probability is certainly not the same. A person with a higher activity level has had all of the previous activity levels to become legendary, meaning that since there are a finite amount of them there is a better chance of it being the next one the higher their level, since there are fewer periods they can then achieve legendary in. Compared to someone like shorena, who since they have had one activity period so far where they could have hit it meaning that they could hit it in the many periods between their current activity and 1030 ( or whatever the limit is).

So, yes shorena does have the same chance as anyone else to hit Legendary, though it is more likely for someone with higher activity to hit it, the closer to the limit they are.

I hope that made sense, it's pretty early and I was typing that off the top of my head. Tongue
1402  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 22, 2015, 07:47:16 PM
BTW doesn't 100% probability mean you have to hit it, according to maths?
mprep has hit legendary, and if Lincoln6Echo continues posting then he will hit it eventually (due to his potential activity).

Edit: Mprep or Lincoln6Echo are probably dethrone the Unluckiest legendary guy(who was it again?)
Unluckiest guys were teukon and klondike_bar. While it remains to be seen if Lincold6Echo could be the unluckiest (as we don't know when he will get Legendary), mprep is not the unluckiest. Since he has now hit Legendary, his activity was 1022, 7 off the unluckiest at 1029.
1403  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 20, 2015, 05:42:38 PM
A year has 52 weeks. 774/14 * 2 ~ 110. 110/52 ~ 2.1 still. Probably just a typo.
Damnit, I always seem to get that wrong off the top of my head. Sorry about that.
1404  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 20, 2015, 05:04:15 PM
How long does it takes to become a legendary member?
If you get the maximum amount of activity in every single 2 week period, it will take you around 110 weeks or 2.1 years.
(((775/14)*2)/56) = 2.1. Please tell me if this is incorrect.

Do legendary members have more chances to be picked up for staff?
No.
1405  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Who are trusted buyers on here for paypal? on: December 20, 2015, 02:17:01 AM
I've done Paypal trades with monbux before with no problems, however I'm not sure how he feels about doing it currently. You can always ask him though, since he has a very good reputation.
1406  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: December 20, 2015, 12:41:39 AM
Wow, so, is it enough to make a donation to have the right to cast shit on the admins of this forum?
Anyone can cast shit at the admins of the forum, regardless of rank. If it's a legitimate criticism then it's listened to and discussed, if it's just some shit someone is spewing it's ignored (like that comment should be). Don't take it to heart, though I don't know why you would.
1407  Other / Meta / Re: Hilarious bots posting nonsense: what's the point? on: December 18, 2015, 02:24:30 PM
Captcha and similar features can be implemented but theymos does not think they would be effective at all (where I don't fully agree).
Why not just force new members fill captchas before they can post?
Captchas wouldn't be a solution simply because anyone with basic technical prowess with bots will be able to set up a captcha solving service for a low cost. Let's say that you have to use a captcha to create an account, it would cost them about $0.5 to solve 1,000 captchas and make 1,000 accounts. Not to mention this would only slow them down by a second or two.

Are you from Australia?
Bloody is a common term in the UK too. Tongue
1408  Other / Meta / Re: Do you think Referral Link should be allowed in Micro Earning Section on: December 18, 2015, 12:13:43 AM
edit:look at the people in the thread saying no, most of them bearly post in that section
No. I can just imagine the spam of hundreds of threads with a different Newbie spamming their freebitco.in referral link.
1409  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Magnesium Coin tried to hack my profile with a possible malware! on: December 17, 2015, 01:18:39 PM
Can you please make your trust neutral so that I can atleast join a decent campaign? I want to join a campaign. Please Vod help me out! Please! Cry Cry Cry
Why would he? You tried doing something malicious to another user in order to affect their reputation. I know that if I were in Vod's position I wouldn't even consider changing the feedback, and I'm sure that he won't.

Also, from your previous posts you seem to say that this wasn't your fault or wasn't done with malicious intent. If this is true, what happened from your side of the story?
1410  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 17, 2015, 12:32:54 PM
All I have to say is that most people posting in signature campaigns are either people living in third-world countries or people who find way to abuse the signature campaign.
I'm English, and I find my post quality to be fairly high. If anything, my post quality has mainly improved since joining a signature campaign as I've stopped posting in areas such as Off Topic or Games and Rounds to keep my post quality high.

Sig campaigns greatly reduce the quality of this forum with people who only post for the Bitcoins, even if it is not much. It leaves us skilled computer users dealing with a ton of spam.
While this is my opinion, god damn you seem to have a big ego. Posts like this:
I don't need to be a part of this campaign. Most of my time online is spent programming/setting up online businesses. That sure pays more than signature campaigns.
with the only purpose of basically saying "I'm better than you all because I don't need a signature campaign" really make you look like a dick.

Also, it's pretty funny that you boast about making so much that you don't need a campaign, yet still recently tried making a bot to rob faucet owners (people trying to make money through web development) for dust without giving them ad revenue. Cunt.

What I found is there is a lot of programming and many other gigs available on this forum and those living in third-world nations should get more skilled
Or maybe they don't want to learn coding, since that isn't for everyone. I've made much more helping people and posting on this forum than I've ever made doing web development jobs. Perhaps you should stop generalizing others to stroke your own ego and go back to doing your well paid development jobs.
1411  Other / Meta / Re: Why my threads been moved from Services to Gambling? on: December 16, 2015, 10:15:57 PM
To be honest with you, I can still see there are many threads which are not offering any service. They just want referrals for the sites they are promoting.
Then report them and they will be removed to the correct section. Also, referral links aren't allowed AFAIK, so those topics will probably be edited anyway.

Thing which annoys me on this forum is that rules are different for newbie and rules are different for not newbie.
No, though it may seem like it. Report any posts you see in the wrong section to a moderator and I'm sure they will get moved.
1412  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The user "thatstinks" is a scammer! on: December 16, 2015, 09:14:38 PM
What if someone logs in at the exact same time the other person logs out? Would you say that's coincidence or is it strong evidence of multiaccounting?
Coincidence. I'm sure that I log in and out at the same time as someone on this forum, though this is my only active account.

Also, I can read your text without the bolding and red. It doesn't emphasize anything when you put it in literally all of your posts.
1413  Other / Meta / Re: Why my threads been moved from Services to Gambling? on: December 16, 2015, 09:12:53 PM
What kind of threads are allowed under Services? I don't see any specific rule about what to post & what not to post in that section of the forum.
Usually the Services section is for things that people can offer. Usually things such as users giving coding services or Signature Campaigns. Since your service is just giving away free money for signing up it's not considered a service, it is considered a giveaway. Hence why it's in the Games and Rounds and not Services.
1414  Other / Meta / Re: Why my threads been moved from Services to Gambling? on: December 16, 2015, 08:55:30 PM
What kind of gambling is involved in signing up on a site which is not related to gambling at all?
The only explanation I can really think of is that it's mostly Gambling sites which offer these giveaways, and the section may have been created to house giveaways by these Gambling sites. Since the section was mostly for giveaways, other non-gambling sites were then moved there as it was the most appropriate section.

I've never really questioned why giveaways and such go there, they just always have.
1415  Other / Meta / Re: Why my threads been moved from Services to Gambling? on: December 16, 2015, 08:29:38 PM
Things such as paid signups or free promotions belong in Games and Rounds (where it has been moved to), not the Services section.
1416  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 16, 2015, 02:45:08 PM
Nope. Can't find it Huh
You don't have this selection box?
1417  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 16, 2015, 01:33:26 PM
The issue is not the ads....the issue has always been the useless posts. Ignoring the ads does not help with the spam has always been the issue. Look at any thread here and you will see 10 people all post the same answers just worded slightly different.
He asked for a way to 'ignore' the ads here, so I told him. I know what the problem is, and that it isn't the ads.
1418  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 16, 2015, 11:47:06 AM
The ads are shit, too. There should be a function to ignore them. This forum just finished blowing buckets of coin on from-scratch software design; it doesn't need our monies.
There's a place in your settings that you can choose to ignore ads if you so desire.
Profile->Forum Profile Information->Disable Ads.
1419  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The user "thatstinks" is a scammer! on: December 16, 2015, 12:01:10 AM
bullshit
Login times prove nothing. If you feel that strongly about EcuaMobi being an alt of Thatstinks (which he isn't), have another trusted member access your account, or is everyone else here an alt of thatstinks too?
1420  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 15, 2015, 11:40:22 PM
Is it possible for the randomness to be more heavily weighted towards the larger activity requirement?   (Then it wouldn't really be "random" though...)
Eh what?
I believe he's asking if the site is more likely to wait for a higher activity number before rewarding Legendary. The answer is no; it's 100% random between the two set points. Due to people's luck and the nature of the activity system it can look like it does lean more heavily to the higher side, though it doesn't.
