Just updating everyone, if you're not following Syntaks on Twitter.

Withdraw your NEOS from coin-swap if you're keeping any.

Hello bitcoin masters,

I am just new to bitcoins. And want to earn some bitcoins so that I can invest somewhere in the cloud mining companies and earn some money.i started to earn bitcoins from faucets and I got frightened  by what I seen in my wallet  that was 0.07$ (my hard earned money  Sad  )  and from then I never looked at faucets. I brought 10$ worth bitcoins from my friend to invest in hashie.co but I was afraid that what will happen  if I lose them?  How will I return him?  So that I gave them back to him.

So please  guys! Help me how to earn bitcoins and suggest me better cloud mining sites where I can earn good.

Sorry if I done any mistakes because this is my first post.

Faucets are probably the worst way to earn Bitcoins.

Your account is fairly new, but still there are some signature campaigns on this firum that will rent your signature space and will pay you Bitcoins for that.

You can also use wallet on blockchain.info. Link is here: https://blockchain.info/wallet

Has the security issue been resolved yet for Blockchain.info?

There was a bug that let others control your private keys and people were using their coins to hackers.
1404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: December 29, 2014, 01:24:30 PM
any Bank of btc i want to deposti and fix amount i want to get rid of gambling !! and want to save money!

I don't quite understand your intent here.
As I gather it, you're not looking for a fixed return on your investment, are you?

You're just looking to HODL on your Bitcoins by keeping away your gambling addiction?
I would suggest you create a paper wallet, put it in a bank locker and forget about it.

I'm here to start a new artistic project related with bitcoin Smiley I was working with btc since 2012, and I love all that is related to it, so I want to give back to the community some of the good things that bitcoin gave me during this time. I can't actually tell much about my project but I will definitely make a post here in about 2 or 3 days to let everybody take a look.

Thanks for reading and wish you all the best in this year that is about to start!

Welcome to the forum; I'm interested in seeing your project. Following this thread for updates.
1406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have I Been Scammed By This Service??? on: December 29, 2014, 10:51:50 AM
I am new to Bitcoin and simply wanted to find out if anyone has heard of a service called Bit Miner Pro?  http://bitminerpro.com

I can not get a response back from their support team and have written numerous e-mails.

How much money did you send them?

It would have been wise to post here BEFORE purchasing their services; if it turns out to be a scam.

I must say I agree with Michael here.

Since maintenance fees are calculated in fiat, BTC price variation greatly affects your BTC earnings. This would not happen in a world where maintenance fees are calculated in BTC.
But you have to be aware of such conditions when buying hash power. Zoomhash cannot be blamed here.
1409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best sites that gives free bitcoin ? on: December 20, 2014, 07:23:43 AM
hello is there a sites that a give a good amount of bitcoins for free ?

No site gives "good" amount of Bitcoins for "free". Because Bitcoins are money and nobody gives good amount of money for free. EVER.

There are some bitcoin faucets, but earnings are so low, rather than spending (wasting) your time on them, you'd better doing real job and buy Bitcoins with fiat earnings.

And still if you're inclined to know how to waste your time try a faucet rotator:

1410  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ███ Stay away from GAWminers.com ███ on: December 20, 2014, 07:16:49 AM
Gaw mining is moving slowly away from cloud mining to be a Global Trading Platform with its own currency.A lot of cloud miners are going bust as there is way too many of them to sustain profitability.

They launched their own crypto-currency called PayCoin. They're selling each PayCoin for $20 LOL

Looks fishy to me, because:

Quote
With 12m paycoins already premined for the company’s investment partners and customers, only about 500,000 paycoins are available for public mining.

Dear Michael,
why in the world are you worried about such petty things why you  are injustly taking money for a cloud mining service and not paying  correctly or even at all? yes i have proof people and i would love to show everyone that ZOOMHASH  is a true scam.
and your could hashing service is just as much of a scam as your company.

I am NOT spreading FUD i have the results of their payments and today
for 83 MH scrypt on their cloud mining service was very interesting

--snip--

each miner did exactly zero      this Company   "zoomhash"     is a fraud

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience.

From the look of it, it looks like you lost all your money? How much did you spend to purchase hashing power with them?
And how long did it take for you to realize the payments were zero?
1412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ## Can you please tell us @@ How do you scammed by someone ## on: December 20, 2014, 07:07:27 AM
The first rule: Do not invest in suspicious alt-coins

The second rule: Do not send any Bitcoins to someone without using trusted escrow.
1413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone keep $10k+ Worth of BTC in Coinbase/Blockchain? on: December 20, 2014, 06:09:58 AM
Thus keep it there without it in a paper wallet?  I read its very unsafe b/c those are hot wallets but if u plan to do transactions once a week at least, i read paper wallets are not good b/c its meant for long term storage.  Im sure there are lot of ppl that has kept this much money in their accts right?

The only one who should keep $10k of Bitcoins in a hot wallet is the one who owns millions of dollars and can afford to lose $10k.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci Info and questions on: December 19, 2014, 11:18:10 AM

About time!

It feels really good to know people are being charged for what they did to crypto community.

I did not invest in Fibonacci or CacheCoin, but certainly I'm worried that people try to pull such scams. They must be punished.

1417  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Corsair VS550, will it run? (NEED HELP ASAP) on: December 18, 2014, 06:16:28 AM
I wanted to know whether Corsair VS550 will handle 1 Antminer S3+ ?

ANTMINER S3+ requires 355 Watt power, and your PSU is 550 Watts. That should be fine.

Whoah :O
Can i 24/7 without overclocking?

Thanks for your help!
God Bless!!!!!

Your PSU is good. The VS550 delivers a guaranteed 550 Watts of continuous power.
So yes, you can run it 24/7 without overclocking.

And considering a 550 Watts of power supply versus 355 Watts required, I believe you should have no problem even with overclocking.
1418  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ok, lets atalk again, about recovering a wallet with my btc in it. on: December 18, 2014, 05:55:43 AM
pm me and I'll tell you the site name.

I have sent you a PM.

Assessing the current info, if you can't access your account and the moderators of site do not help you recover your account balance, you're out of luck.

That's why staying away from online wallets is generally a good idea. If you don't control the private keys, you don't control your coins.
1419  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC TX fee on: December 18, 2014, 04:29:11 AM
when we tx some btc to other addy we got some fee of 0.0001 (AVG) so my question is where are all the fee`s from world of btc gather? or just waxted?

Currently, Bitcoin block reward is 25BTC. That means when a pool finds a block, it receives 25BTC. All transaction fees included in the block is added to this reward.

For example, if a block contains 100 transactions and teh total fees of those 100 transactions is 1 BTC, then the block reward becomes 26 BTC.
These 26 BTC are distributes among the miners who mined at that pool.

So in a nutshell, the transaction fees go to the miners who mined the block to make your transaction possible.
1420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start Bitcoin-QT?? on: December 18, 2014, 04:25:27 AM
Then I have mined all the Blocks over 5 days mining period.

Can you elaborate on this? No one can mine 'all the blocks over 5 days'.

How are you mining? Solo mining or pool mining?
Also, what is your hardware? Are you trying to mine with GPU?
