Boston finally managed to finish this round, but we can say that they played two more games. Had they been more concentrated, they could have swept Atlanta. The extension of the series to the 6th match only caused them to play another tiring match. The Sixers, who will now be their opponent, have been resting for a long time. This series is going to be very competitive.
As long as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum play well like this, Boston will be one of the strongest contenders. When they keep their turnover low and their three-point percentage high, they are very unlikely to lose.
It's definitely going to be an interesting series. I can't make heads or tails which way it will go. 2 completely different teams. I see cracks in the Celtics and am leaning towards the sixers here. My gut really wants Celtics just in case the Knicks sneak past Miami. I'd love to see another Celtics knicks series and knicks can never stop embid. He gives them fits. |

This will be a great series. The Heat might still be the underdog, but only slightly. I'm rooting for them to win because they beat the number one team, so there's no reason they can't beat the NYK.
I'm waiting for the betting odds to come out. My initial guess is that they will be very attractive for the Heat. Hopefully, that will come true.
Too bad we see these two current great teams in the East matching up against each other in the second rounds of the playoffs, I really prefer to see them at the Eastern Conference finals because they are really doing amazing things with their play knocking out the higher ranks teams, I think you rarely see these scenarios in the playoffs but as we can see right now, there is always a chance for the number 8th seed and it happens right in front of our eyes. let's just hope no one will get injured for this is a great match-up here and I think the Heat is more likely the favorite team to win this series. Knicks are favored in the series. Home court advantage but it's pretty close. For any old heads this is an old rivalry from the late 90s. They met in the 97, 98, and 99 series with all of the series going down to the final game. And who can forget van gundy throwing himself on Alonzos leg during the brawl. I was expecting the same thing because out of the 3 games that happened earlier, I got the Boston Celtics on my sure list to eliminate the Atlanta Hawks and proceed into the 2nd round where they will wait and face the winner of Bucks vs Miami up next. But what happened was really unexpected, Tatum didn't contribute that much compared to his usual digits every night but at least Brown took the helm but even that didn't stopped the Hawks from winning the game. Ice Trae did it again, I know it's not yet a guarantee but by the looks of it, including the situation of Milwaukee Bucks, we might be seeing the underdogs who played in the recent play-in tournament confronting each other in the East semis. If the Celtics win they will be playing Philly. As a knick fan I cringe at seeing Trae do this but it's like a car wreck and can't look away. Dude is so fun to watch with the game on the line. You know he is shooting it and you can't stop him. I can't believe Boston didn't double him right at half court. I'd give an open shot to anyone on the team than Trae guarded. Nuggets will surely have a sweep
They didn't. They lost yesterday. and I am expecting Lakers to get 3-1 ahead as well.
This will be a task that needs hard work. We saw how Ja Morant can easily find his rhythm in the last 5 minutes of the game when he created his own 19 points consecutive run all by himself. Anthony must play consistently which means the same as Games 1 and 3. 20+ points and 15+ rebounds. The defense should also be like Game 3 where he protected the rim a lot of times from those who would try to attack the paint. Another key to winning the game is to not let Desmond Bane create havoc early because that guy can get hot as fast as he could. Whoever is defending him last time must keep it up. Here is my bold assumption. As the recent cryptocurrency prices continue to drop dramatically, the whole market needs a big time and force to embrace a new bullish period. As the US strengthens more regulations, more money is looking for a new place to flow into. Recently, Hong Kong held the Web3 festival to show their determination to build a crypto hub in Asia. The new rules and favorable policies on crypto will be implemented in this June. I firmly believe that as long as the new window opens, endless hot money from China mainland and all over the world will be flooding into the crypto market in Hong Kong. The knicks are slowly dismantling what some people called a team that could go to the finals. Cabs have looked completely lost trying to guard jalen brunson. Okoro has had some luck but then the Knicks just roll to another set and go p-n-roll. Thibs has coached a hell of a series given he isn't getting g anything out of quickly or grimes on the offensive end. And Randall has had a terrible series.

Knicks -2.5, knicks gonna go up 3-1 (hopefully). I just can't see cavs winning in the garden, they shrank in Friday nights game.
Same game under 207. This is like a 80s/90s type series. Low scoring lots of defense. I like the under.
Golden state -7.5. Just going to be tough to beat the reining Champs at home.
And last I like the Hawks +6.5. Getting a bunch of points at home I can't lay off this one.
Not touching the late denver/wolves game. Either way seems like a trap betting game. Just gonna sit back and enjoy that one.

Currently, the Knicks vs Cavaliers is already playing and they are on halftime break while the Knicks got 9 points lead before the 3rd quarter will start. Right now, I've got the Cavs ML @ 3.66 on live. This will be interesting enough because just like their two recent games, it's been a close match-up and the Cavs will likely bounce back this time too. Garland might do something in this game because in Game 3, he scored awfully law as they failed to grab the lead in the series. Boom 2 for 2 out of the gate today. This series is an easy bet on the under either way. Knicks looked great today on defense. The problem I see is Randle has looked like garbage all series. Thibs might need to play obi toppin more. He is more active and more engaged at this point. I've defended julius all year long but there is no denying he looks lost out there right now under the bright lights. |

Dillon Brooks called for the Flagrant Foul 2 and was ejected from the game. The same as what James Harden did back at Brooklyn where he hit the balls of the defender, this time Brooks hit Lebron's important eggs too.  Well, that's a good way to stop him from making 40 points in a game but in exchange for him being thrown out and not helping his teammates. Ja Morant exploded in the 4th quarter but not enough to bring them back closer to tying or winning the game. Lakers won! Lebron James had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. But the most effective player was Austin Reaves, he definitely played like it was a championship game hustling in both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. 13/6/2 It cannot be seen on paper but he did great today. Yeah, we've seen the Austin Reaves is really a good catch for the Lakers this season. And almost all of there new players are contributing in this series against Memphis. Beasley though, seems to be off again although he has just been given a few minutes to play in this series. AD another double double, he make it tonight for game 2 lackluster performance. And I really like how Lebron takes the tempo in the 4th when they still have that lead and not allow Ja Morant to take over the game. Although Ja exploded with 45 points. The key to this series is AD. Lebron posting a +/- of -16, when AD has shown up they've one. They will win or lose based on AD not anyone else. Definately a wierd series, and what a brutal shooting start last night for Memphis. Surprised they kept trying to jack up 3s. They dominate paint scoring and they avoided the paint. And when they did they couldn't hit layups. Memphis needs to win game 4 or it might be a wrap. |

Tank Davis is correct on saying that Ryan Garcia has a problem with fundamentals, and no matter how much advantage in physical attributes i a boxer is if he is missing on fundamentals, he will end up kissing the canvas when facing a more technical hard puncher boxer. Rayn Garcia should be thankful to Davis at this conference because Davis is already exposing Ryan Garcia's weakness that he needs to patch. Anyway, that was an interesting final press conference, both boxers still adding fire and hype to the incoming match. Both promising to broke each other jaw and Ryan wanted it quick.
If Ryan Garcia heeds Tank Davis' advice and works on his fundamental implementing jobs, straight and good footwork, he might get Davis KO in early round. I do not think hook punches is more effective than Straight in taking advantage of reach. Capitalizing on hook punches may make Ryan open since for a hook punch to land, Ryan needs to move closer to Davis which is pretty much a comfortable distance for Davis to do his antiques. That's no secret though, even Ryan admitted that years ago that he doesn't have the movement, but he is still winning so maybe that's why he didn't change his style. And most likely this is where Ryan is comfortable even with his amateur days. I just finished reading an article about the "fundamentals" thing. Tank Davis also said that if he touches Ryan Garcia's jaw he is going to sleep, or worse he may probably break it. Well, I don't doubt that. It could happen and Davis has the power to do so. I just don't like the cockiness because the same goes when Garcia touches his jaw, he will probably sleep too. This is why this fight had been debated all over social media because both boxers have the power punch that could end the fight in one haymaker. And you are right @Dave1, it's not advice, it is a sarcastic statement. He said it too during their press conference that Garcia has nothing more but his left hook. Again, it means he lacks fundamentals. We will see, 1 more day for us in our timeline, hours in Eastern Time. They all talk this way because it adds dollars in theor pocket. Most of these fighters aren't even that contentious with each other but that makes for good TV. If they were both friendly with each other there is no build up. I honestly didn't expected that the Hawks can still bounce back from the 0-2 standing because I thought that a sweep is also imminent just like the Philly against the Nets.
If that happens, I think it would be the first time to happen where both teams that will battle in the second round did a sweep on their first round opponents. and in that case, it would be the 76ers vs Celtics.
I really thought so too, that the Boston Celtics will sweep the Hawks just like what they did with the Brooklyn Nets back last season, but the Atlanta Hawks find a way to return back, and this time Trae Young fired up and blasted all the Celtics but yeah this is the game of basketball anything can eventually happen and you will never know what may happen until the game is over,
