1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 580 users on: January 05, 2018, 01:54:00 AM
Dang you got lucky on buying 6 of those. How much did you pay?

Anyways, I have 2x RX 580 8GB Nitro+ and I'm seeing Nicehash and ETH are about even right now in profitability if you're getting 31MH/s on each card, which can be tricky but is possible. So take a pick whether Bitcoin or Ether will increase more in price.

And yes higher-end Nvidia cards are more profitable right now with alt-coins going up. They're just more expensive to get started. In the past RX cards were cheaper and you could get twice as many and be making more.

I paid $3K for 6. Do you think I should just return them?  If so, how about these? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1282936-REG/evga_08g_p4_6288_kr_geforce_gtx_1080_ftw.html
$500 per card ?! way over paid, for that much you should have got 1070tis

1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: December 30, 2017, 11:21:38 PM
Check out the other B2x mining pool. https://b2x.multipools.club/ Has higher hash rate than MiningPool Shop

Still no exchange will take a deposit for B2x. Anyone know where to exchange?

Me thinks, the exchanges will open up after the 2 million premine is dumped.
trezor and all kinds of ppl are saying they wont suport this fork now I dont know if we should keep mining here
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 30, 2017, 09:20:31 PM
Some people spent good money on Nicehash to mine this shit:

It made D3s profitable for a few hours... I hope people behind it go to jail.
so wtf is going on here
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Ethereum Mining NoDevFee v8.0 🔥 on: December 30, 2017, 09:54:47 AM
Hi. I coded small app which intercept (hook) network login packet (Winsock2 -> ws2_32.dll -> send -> eth_submitLogin) and changes all dev fee wallets to your wallet. It detects your wallet automatically, using first login packet with your wallet and remembering it.

How to use :
1. Copy "nodevfee.exe" and "nodevfeeDll.dll" from "nodevfee\x64\Release" to Claymore directory (in same directory with "EthDcrMiner64.exe").
2. Create bat file and use it "nodevfee.exe EthDcrMiner64.exe YOUR_USUAL_PARAMETERS" for instance "nodevfee.exe EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xcb4effdeb46479caa0fef5f5e3569e4852f753a2.worker1 -epsw x"

I attach all sources you can check how it works and compile by yourself (Visual Studio 2015). Report bugs, I will try fix them.

Thanks man. I have been using it and I noticed that every month I was mining 1 day just for Claymore. Claymore is the most expensive piece of software out there. I don't mind paying for a software but perpetual fees is ridiculous. It's like having to pay Microsoft everyday to use your computer.
so does this work yes or no and what about the other coin

Yes. It works great. I mine using Nanopool and Ethermine and I didn't have any problems. You'll see a second worked called "x" or "default"
I mine ethereum or ethereum/decred. I didn't try with another coin.
I've been mining for 2 years and I paid my fare share for Claymore.
1 post and you have been mining for two years? lol ok Need somone with a bit more credibility bro

I'm not here to prove anything to anybody, my time is spent making money, I don't waste my time writing on forums even though I read the forum regularly.
I don't even have social media. That's for losers. I don't need to be entertained . I have a busy life and I don't live in my mom's basement.
The only reason I replied to this thread is because I think Claymore's fees are ridiculously high.
this forum is about sharing infomation and knowledge in general
no need to get ur panties in a bunch cuz you are a lurker with not alot of trust
No one who mines seriously would risk instaling malware or a virus or software
that takes more from you than it advertises based on a six post endorsement lol

no need to take things personally lol

1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: December 30, 2017, 09:49:24 AM
Getting any new asics without over paying will be tough.

In fact gpu prices are rising.

Amazon is kind of mostly sold out.
Provantage is short.

Not much  gear to be had at the moment.

I just got a shippment 30 x Zotac GTX-1060s (wanted P106s but got these instead for same price) - unfortunately these are the last pieces on this side of the world from my Zotac supplier.

For now, no more GPUs rigs possible because we maxed out all amps in both warehouse -- close to 90 rigs - without tripping the power. 63A-3Phase-220-240v each warehouse.

All new Asics will remain hosted only.

I may replace the R9-390s with newer GPUs if I can get a good deal for all 25 x 390s -- any takers?

That's fucking awesome man congrats! I've got 200A 208v at my warehouse, I don't see myself maxing it out any time soon even with the new GPU's I bought I'm barely going to be pushing 80A 220v (or 160A 110v)
90 rigs is crazy lol, i have 25 , 3 more 1070ti rigs parts and 30 bad gpus laying around on rma
so i could possibly be at 40 rigs but im split btwn two locations 90 rigs is crazy lol

units are great so far, 10.14 stable GH of groestl , skien ,x11 , quark and quibit

doing verge right now , getting me aroun 50 coins an hour, matching the calulatiors and already even found a block lol

I sure wish i had bought more at the $1399 batch two price.

they only draw 200-300 watts or so mining , so i could put 3 on a 1000 watt PSU

that's a great result.

Missed the X10s.

Ordered 11 x Giant-Bs for my group - mid-January shipping.

2018 will be a great year for miners!
congrats on the giant bs you will make a toooone with those

got my two baikal just now easy to setup ming xvg myriad at idcray for now

ivites to the other pool seem to be closed.

the unit is kinda looud and i don’t know how to get its mac so i can set static ip on my dhcp server

other than that its good as advertised 10.3 ghs on each unit at 23 degrees

any tuning tips for the loud fan?

You should be able to see its mac in your dhcp server: give a look at the list of dhcp clients logged.
lol I’m an idiot , Im so used to doing it with antminers which show the mac address on the ui
i totally forgot about that lol
