1521  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your bitcoin May/June price analysis? on: June 01, 2023, 08:36:27 AM
Bitcoin analysis is not based on monthly bases or linked to the first and second quarters, but rather to technical analysis, as supply and demand, support and resistance points, and trading volumes are what control the price movement more than they are periods of time, especially for short periods of time such as quarters during the year.

If we take the historical data as a reference, then Bitcoin is likely to remain negative.
The month of May was 6.92%, and the end of the year and the first quarter are mostly positive compared to the second and third quarters.
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: One Bitcoin May Be Worth $1 Billion by 2038, Fidelity Says on: June 01, 2023, 07:16:03 AM
The most beautiful thing about long-term prediction is that you can safely lie. If he said that Bitcoin will reach 10,000 within a year or two, everyone will be a timer to prove a lie or sincerity, but when you say after 15 years, a lot of water will run behind the bridge, and no one will remember this bet. The events and changes in this world and the madness that we have witnessed during the last three years made the impossible possible, but no one predicts what will happen within 5 years, let alone 15 years.

if this happens, it is unlikely that the value of one billion dollars will be the same as the current billion dollars, because the rich will have tens of trillions of wealth.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor Suite Lite mobile app on: June 01, 2023, 07:10:31 AM
Hey, I have Hardware wallet Trezor and I would like to ask u. I downloaded officialy mobile app - Trezor Suite Lite. Is it safe to put there my Public Key (XPUB)? There is some risk about security / privacy?

In terms of security, you are safe because it is impossible to obtain private key/s through the public key or (XPUB), therefore, even if you share them online, there is no risk to your lose your currencies.
In terms of privacy, without knowing how to hide your identity, some may be able to associate your bitcoin addresses with IP addresses and some other useful information that they may find from cookies. Just try to use a strong and reliable VPN to enhance your privacy.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza day reflection, what would it be like to build a city from scratch with btc on: June 01, 2023, 06:57:14 AM
The dream of a virtuous city has been haunted by many people for a long time, starting with the fact that the city is fair and has the basic services that the citizen needs, passing through the fact that all its members are rich, but if it really happened and this city was, then the situation will not change much.

Wealth and poverty are not related to the amount of capital you own, nor is it related to the wealth of your family, but rather to the ideas in your head and how to implement them. A rich family or a famous basketball player who ends up as a cleaner or works in marginal professions.

The dream of Bitcoin City is to build minds, not places.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is always affected by world market news, why ??? on: May 31, 2023, 06:28:17 AM
The market is always changing according to world news. It has nothing to do with bitcoin
For a small investor like me, this is undesirable
The market and adoption is still small, small fish can’t swim against the tide, especially with United States debt that exceeds 30 trillion dollars. We need to reach the 5 trillion or 10 so that we can safely say that Bitcoin can not be affected by major economic variables. this means 300k to 600k per bitcoin.

It is true that Bitcoin is affected by economic crises, but this effect is positive. After COVID-19 March2021, Bitcoin was one of the fastest assets to recover its value, and even to achieve quick gains. Since the beginning of this year, Bitcoin has made a decent rally.

I want to ask experienced investors?? How can you capture this potential market?
I can prepare a long list of comparisons between Bitcoin and more assets including gold in which Bitcoin has proven to be a good investment in the long term, despite the negative performance with global variables in the short term.
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wally Coin - Rare opportunity on: May 31, 2023, 06:23:14 AM
New crypto that has huge potential!  Currently, $100 will make you a whale.  It's one of those where you'll say, if I had only.  Don't miss this opportunity!
It's the scammers' favorite way of arousing your greed, which is promises that you will get rich quickly. If that is possible, why do you need $100 from me? Isn't it better to take out a loan and pay it off since you are guaranteed to make a profit?

The rush to ask you to send your money, the lack of a plan for the currency, there is no real active DEV team, a lot of lies, the dream of profit and wealth without effort, and telling you to invest first are all things that indicate that you are trying to scam, especially since your account is newbie account and without a commercial record, meaning that if you get a negative trust, you can go back and create a new account, you have nothing to lose.

It is the fastest way to lose your money and your mental health.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: May 31, 2023, 05:42:54 AM
Binance is making huge profits from altcoin market by changing the criteria for listing and deletion and it will became harder with time as they developed a new system under the name of innovation, which aims to be an area for these projects before they are launched.
You will find the details here https://www.binance.com/en-IN/markets/coinInfo-innovation-zone

Therefore, relying on the fact that listing will lead to an increase in token price will not be easy because they monitor projects and determine when they want to pumping to list that token or add it to main page, and when they want dumping it is easy by sending them to the innovation list (Soft delist).

When investing in altcoins, keep these questions in mind:

  • Why invest?
  • What is the investment opportunity that I see that no one else sees?
  • What are the new values for that token?

Unless you have clear answers to these questions, it is best not to invest.

Lets choose ETH

Why invest? The price showed a continuous increase over the previous years.
What is the investment opportunity that I see that no one else sees? It is the only currency that works on the principle of proof of stake, and if it succeeds, it will achieve a good return on investment.
What are the new values for that token? Excellent management of smart contracts.
1528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bybit is the next to exit Canada, stating regulatory reason on: May 31, 2023, 05:17:08 AM
If the big exchanges leave, then it is only a matter of time and the small platforms will leave. Only the local platforms will remain.
Since the news of OKX, I have not been surprised by any new news because it is a foregone conclusion.

The list goes on and the funniest thing is that they have a decentralized platform, DyDx https://www.cryptotimes.io/decentralized-exchange-dydx-pulls-out-of-canadian-market/ and Paxos https://coingeek.com/paxos-exits-canada-amid-increasing-regulatory-crackdown/

The bright side is that some platforms have made an Enhanced Pre-Registration Undertaking (PRU) with the main regulator to continue operations and the number of platforms under review is more than 10. https://www.securities-administrators.ca/crypto-trading-platforms-regulation-and-enforcement-actions/crypto-trading-platforms-that-have-filed-pre-registration-undertakings/

There is an active canada exchange topic here Exchanges X Canada  it is best to lock this topic and keep updating that topic.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 77% into the next Bitcoin halving on: May 31, 2023, 05:00:28 AM
Bitcoin halving as an event has no direct effect on crypto price. If you follow the historical data, you will notice that the price did not rise in an instant after a day/hour or even month after halving, and therefore your friends who buy bitcoin to sell it after the halving will need to wait more time.

After 6-24 months of halving, the markets will begin to move to achieve some gains, and here is the perfect moment to enter the market as the profit potential is high, the loss is low and the wait is not long, perhaps after a year from now we will only see 10% profits, but inevitably after two years we will see Profits at a higher rate, so if you have a better investment opportunity, invest it and wait until after the Bitcoin halving for a quick return investment.

Deeper thinking: In each cycle, the price increase takes longer, meaning that the hypothesis of 6 months after halving for new ATH is considered less likely compared to 12 months or 24 months.
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Will chatgpt really destroy the job market? on: May 31, 2023, 04:26:30 AM
If we go back in time a little, we will notice that the labor market adapts to new technologies.

First: During the era of feudalism, there was an urgent need for humans and animals for agriculture and cultivation, and manual effort was essential to moving the economy. when the combustion machinery and electricity generators appeared, many people thought that they would lose their jobs due to the advent of machines.

Second: Those machines needed humans to operate them, and thus jobs appeared such as electrical, electronics, and mechatronics engineers, and then reliance on these jobs decreased, so remote work, work from home, and robots appeared that entered most industries, but nevertheless, humans found an opportunity in jobs besides those now.

Third: Artificial intelligence revolution is exploding, and people fear for their jobs again, but it is an opportunity to create new jobs.

The bottom line of the story is that the person who refuses to develop himself and develop his skills to find a new opportunity whenever the labor market conditions change, is the person who will suffer in order to achieve a stable income like who still uses traditional farming methods or does not want to use new phones.

1531  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE is the biggest gold buyer of Russia during this war on: May 31, 2023, 04:13:59 AM
Do you mean the gold of Russia or the Wagner company? The UAE has economic relations with some African countries and it is a commercial center in the Middle East, so it is ideal for those who want to transfer illegal activities and pump them into the formal economy. Many African companies do that in the UAE.

I had read at the beginning of the war about the impact of real estate activity in the UAE and the accumulation of wealth by wealthy Russians here, so that country may be a region for re-exporting Russian crude to countries of the world.

Russia's rich look to stash wealth in Dubai
These wealthy people may pay in gold because of the sanctions on the use of the dollar, and I do not think that there is trade exchange in the local currency between the two countries.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: as a result of participating in bitcoin contests, I have a unique story. on: May 28, 2023, 09:41:00 AM
A beautiful story and I hope it is true, but investing based on the opinions of friends or impulsive investment is not good. It is better for your friend to learn more about Bitcoin, the right time to invest, wallets, how to keep wallet seed and the safety of those currencies.
I know many stories of people who invested good sums in Bitcoin like $1000 and lost it because the phone stopped working and they weren't writing down their seed or keeping it in digital form inside the same phone.

It looks delicious even though it's not pizza.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would these two wallets be equally hard to brute force attack? on: May 28, 2023, 09:35:37 AM
Increasing the seed for more than 12 words does not give you a maximum advantage in increasing the security of your coins against a brute force attack. It is true that it will take more than billions of years, but 12 words are safe against this attack.

Choosing 24 words or 24 words passphrase attached will create a problem, which is that if you forget one of these words, or there is a problem in their arrangement, or you lose one of them, then you will lose your money. It is impossible to brute force, but you narrow an additional complication, which is the possibility of losing your money if anything goes wrong, and it is a possibility that increases with the number of words.
1534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats required of me as a newbie in other to grow in this prestigious forum? on: May 28, 2023, 09:27:10 AM
As a beginner, not much is required, learn and share what you have learned, read the forum rules, do not spread spam and try to develop your skills and your local community in understanding the decentralized economy and the importance of saving, investing and bitcoin to solve current economic problems.

With the passage of time and the increase of your posts, you will be able to be an active member and one of the trusted members, and thus try to help the beginners and keep the scammers away.
1535  Other / Off-topic / Re: KeyPass vulnerability: Recover master pwd in clear text from memory dump on: May 28, 2023, 09:23:00 AM
It is a kind of physical attack or RAM access, but it is unfortunate to see what happened with an open source program. It is better to keep the passwords encrypted in a password manager, so even if the hackers gain access to the hemorrhoid management program, they still need to access the private key from For decryption, which you can keep in an offline environment.

Thanks for the warning and it is better not to trust the default in open source software.
1536  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: May 28, 2023, 09:10:59 AM
After avoiding the debt crisis yesterday, I believe that the worst has happened and we will not go through a financial crisis as it happened in 2008. Therefore, many markets seemed comfortable with this news, and it seems that we will wait several weeks before we see a test again of the $28,000 levels.
The impact of the global economy on Bitcoin seems limited and we may not notice it. The only direct link was in COVID-19 pandemic and then in the continuous increase in interest rates, and therefore it may not be a major driver in the price.
1537  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doing scam for Using AI Tool in Signature Campaign on: May 28, 2023, 08:43:39 AM
Can you add links through which we can verify that the text is written by AI, or at least send it to me in private, or I will send some texts to you? I see many posts that seem unrelated to the topic wording or closer to AI than a personal post.

I also don't know if a user using AI deserves to be called scammer or not, but he's just dishonest and have no ethics about its quality which is not liked by any manager and many forum members in principle.

The user has used AI to get more money while wearing a signature, which is a kind of scam, so it deserves a negative sign whenever this information is confirmed.

But let's see what he has to say concerning this and if it turns out to be true then he's no different from @Shan85.
@Saira10 I saw that you dropped a post in the signature thread that the accused user participated in, you should also consider PMing the campaign manager and also @bbigtart for a quicker response.

The @Shan85 case is of course very different from the case that was alleged against @bbigtart.
The funny thing about the story is that @bbigtart was the one who discovered @Shan85's scam

Hello Hhampuz, Sorry in advance if I saw it wrong and misjudged.

I saw on the Speandsheet @Shan85 not using the signature code Duelbits but he is receiving payouts every week. He also uses the signature campaign BetterCallRaul.it which is managed by Royse777. And there he also gets paid every week.

I do not mean anything. It's just that I don't think it's fair if he gets paid from two different signature campaigns every week.
1538  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Asking CTO Jussi-Pekka Erkkilä about the exit scam of his company Localbitcoins. on: May 28, 2023, 08:22:28 AM
There is still no report of people who have lost their money from LBC. It has stopped working, but it is a registered company and you can sue them if they do not return your money to you. Most of the people who were unable to recover their money had KYC problems.
There are --+ 26 victims crying here: Topic: Localbitcoins SCAMMERS !!! 26 accounts!!!

Tell them to return all Bitcoins to their rightful/owners.
I did not understand the point of mentioning this topic because it talks about a scammer who exploits influential accounts on LBC in order to deceive beginners, and the platform has nothing to do with that because the scammer is trying to circumvent the terms of use of the platform.

The fraud company Localbitcoins already stopped operating, because of their bad reputation.
Can you prove that, because according to what I know, the main reason is competition.
1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: % idiots among investors on: May 28, 2023, 07:57:19 AM
When you have a choice between fear and greed, the emotion of fear is much greater than greed. It is this fear that forces people to take the safest solutions in the event of fluctuations or impotence. In the normal situation, you prefer Bitcoin over the dollar, but when the price of Bitcoin begins to decline, you will find yourself ready to sell Bitcoin at half the price that they would have given you in exchange for avoiding the loss.
On the other hand, when the price starts to increase, greed is dominant, but when uncertainty comes or negative news begins to appear, selling is everyone's choice.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we know about lazlo's other contributions on bitcoinnet besides buying pizza? on: May 27, 2023, 05:09:35 AM
It seems to me that Laszlo Hanyecz has become the new Musk, a lot of topics talk about him, and now we have evolved from the pizza stage to his technical expertise.

He is a computer programmer and Beyond his infamous pizza purchase, Laszlo Hanyecz was a significant contributor to the early development of Bitcoin. He played a crucial role in fixing many vulnerabilities in the network during its early stages, helping to make the protocol more secure and stable

Can you attach a link to one of these vulnerabilities that he participated in fixing? Some older developers haven't had much luck with the documentation.
It was the efforts of people in the early days that helped us in the stage we have reached now, and most of them were not motivated, but rather personal participation and self-efforts without funding, even here the strength of decentralize project appears.
