Business as usual for the Catholic church, looks like this pope is the same as the old one.
1542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why don't we contact Clarkson, Hammond or May and try to restart Top Gear? on: March 26, 2015, 08:56:32 AM
That's the thing, I don't think any channels will be willing to do anything with how much he's pissed certain people off.

1543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: California lawyer seeks to put "shoot the gays" proposal on 2016 ballot on: March 26, 2015, 08:48:24 AM
Let this insane and impossible proposal go to a state-wide referendum, it will be the most one sided vote in American history I´m sure.

Don't be so sure, haven't you seen the state of the courts lately? There are many assholes like this guy all over the place and they're the reason that they're trying to stop marriage altogether despite it being approved. As I've said before, religious people like this even though they claim to care about freedom of speech and expression will always attempt to subvert the law for their own ends.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for Bitcoin millionaires to appear in TV documentary on: March 26, 2015, 08:35:56 AM
It would be fine if there was more legit information, but all this is right now is a guy randomly making an account specifically to post and look around for information on the people here, it's should be no surprise they're cynical, as usual after being called out he hasn't made a response either.

Unless of course futureofbitcoin you're his sock puppet account that was created to try and back him up Tongue
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for Bitcoin millionaires to appear in TV documentary on: March 26, 2015, 12:51:47 AM
Really? You're going to make a thread like that without giving any information whatsoever about what you've got planned or even a website?
1546  Other / Politics & Society / Why don't we contact Clarkson, Hammond or May and try to restart Top Gear? on: March 25, 2015, 11:22:44 PM
I mean it, it's not like much of what they do is high tech, realistically all we'd need is access to a youtube channel, some handheld cameras and with the contacts the presenters themselves have they could get the cars they need and so on, the only constraints would be budget and location but I'm sure that could be worked around. For those who don't know, Clarkson apparently got sacked just this week and I know what he did was a shitty thing ( If it's even true, the first people who posted it up were the tabloids for fucks sake ) but I think the BBC have to be collosal morons to let that sort of thing get so completely out of hand in the first place.

I'm not necessarily making this thread to debate what happened, not that I mind of course, but my main question is, we're here, we have cryptocurrencies, a source of funding the state can't turn off, we have the internet which can't be censored and that means they'll be able to broadcast whatever the hell they want, so why not see if we can contact one of them and maybe set it up? Before the private companies snatch them up and try to turn them all into Peugeot salesmen.

Naturally, I'm an Anarchist and my stake in this is I want to see them fuck with state propaganda rather than watch them fade into obscurity on some random breakfast show, plus I've always found Top Gear to be a lot of fun, the political class who hate Clarkson are already cheering over his apparent demise and that particularly grates at me, especially when I see the kind of people they're talking about replacing him with.
1547  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: March 25, 2015, 10:22:50 PM
So, if I believe in God and go to heaven will there be tight, sexy poontang with big tits for me to plow for all eternity? Oh and Crown Royal? If the answer's yes then count me in.

Go to hell instead, you'll get kinkier sex with succubi there according to Christian logic Wink
1548  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Fighters within reach of Denmark/Sweden Air Space.. AGAIN! on: March 25, 2015, 09:38:39 PM
Why can't you all just stop arguing about who's right and who's wrong and since you're all clearly not interested in war and just sit back like I'm planning to do and let the morons go kill themselves since they're all so determined? These people don't give a fuck about right or wrong or who started what, they just want land and resources, of course you'll never get them to admit it openly.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NETELLER to offer customers Bitcoin deposit option very soon on: March 25, 2015, 09:29:05 PM
Obviously not big enough news to cause a pump, even a small one.

People are a lot more wary now of news like this including me, they won't buy into hype, remember when people overreacted to fake Thailand central bank news items and such? Same sort of thing, people are going to wait for a proper confirmation first.
1550  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Several Admirals and Generals Accusing Obama of Treason... on: March 25, 2015, 09:02:02 PM
I'm getting tired of the Republican whining, the ones that complain the loudest are completely full of shit, especially when they were trying to claim they'd impeach him, don't make those kind of threats unless you actually have the balls to follow through with it. We have this exact same problem here in the UK with the Conservatives and Labour parties, yes, the Conservatives suck but Labour are just as incompetent and petty when it comes to attacking them because they come up with the near exact same solutions to the problems that both of them caused.

1552  Other / Off-topic / Re: Blame Vod Thread! on: March 25, 2015, 06:05:06 PM
Holy shit I swear in the last couple days there has been dozens of new threads popping up. I think that there should be a filter in the title and ANY thread posted with VOD and SCAM in the title should be automatically deleted. Its just getting spammy...

Considering the absolute aggression of some of the posters towards Vod who have dodgy enough generic usernames, it's actually getting pretty funny, I think it should all be located in one thread for sure because people with genuine questions etc. in the meta section will get ignored.

That's a little different, though. With that scandal it was the abattoirs & meat processing plants that were cutting corners by using cheaper horsemeat to replace the beef or whatever and thought they could get away with it. Everyone was duped by their coin from the supermarkets to the customers. Nobody really knows what's in any of their food so that's why tighter regulations are needed in my opinion.

I don't really think it is different, sure the circumstances were different and the style of corruption, but in reality if they had thought a bit instead of being semi-conscious consumers as people almost always fucking are and buying up the stuff without thinking about it that wouldn't have happened to them.

Say what you will about the Marxists, but Marx had a point about consumer culture, especially in western countries, people are being brought up to buy shit without thinking about it.
1554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Neteller now is using Bitpay to accept Bitcoin as deposit method - Big news! on: March 24, 2015, 10:59:42 PM
Paypal have pulled this sort of shit before, so excuse me if I'm not going to wait around and see until I get some concrete fact checking.
1555  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US may not reduce troops in Afghanistan on: March 24, 2015, 09:12:48 PM
After the fiasco in Iraq I'm not surprised. They spent shitloads of taxpayers money on training and equipping the Iraqi army and then on the first occasion a fistful of furry, camel fuckin' tribesman kicked their expensively trained asses...

Just goes to show you technology and weaponry means nothing if your troops aren't clever and brave enough to operate it, meanwhile the Kurds are holding their own against ISIS with nothing but soviet era weaponry.
1556  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Neteller now is using Bitpay to accept Bitcoin as deposit method - Big news! on: March 24, 2015, 09:03:33 PM
If this is true then that's great news, IF it's true, can I see some verification on the forums please before we all get giddy?
1557  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beats Headphones Cost $14 to Make on: March 24, 2015, 08:15:50 PM
People are this stupid all the time, what do you expect? I believe in paying for quality, but I always do my research first and find out about the manufcaturer and where they get their stuff from. We had a horsemeat scandal in the UK if you guys remember that, exact same thing, everyone saw the brand, looked at the price and then bought it without even stopping to think where all that cheap meat was coming from.

Yeah, I'm not about to hate on the guy for making money out of these people, it's their stupidity that allowed him to get rich in the first place.

Stop being so proud of being stupid please, it took me five seconds to contradict that statement.
1559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Senator Ted Cruz to announce presidential bid Monday 3-23-15 on: March 23, 2015, 10:51:59 PM
First in, first out?
I am surprised to see him in the race, and I hope he makes a very fast exit.
It's possible that he peels off socially conservative voters from Walker which could be a good thing for Rand.

As an Anarchist, I seriously hope you guys rip apart those social conservatives, even with the flaws of him and his dad Rand Paul really is the best option right now since they're not completely deluded compared to the rest of the candidates and are relatively honest with their beliefs. Meanwhile in the UK the mainstream parties are being tedious and boring while the Nationalists seem to be gaining quite a bit of support, looks like it's going to be another hung parliament again, the conservatives will probably broker a deal with UKIP on the EU.
1560  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Senator Ted Cruz to announce presidential bid Monday 3-23-15 on: March 23, 2015, 10:43:40 PM
It's ridiculous that assholes like this moron can even afford to set up places for their supporters to gather nevermind actually gather any supporters to begin with, religious fanatics are one of the biggest reasons that Democracy has been ruined before it even got started, people won't vote for this guy based on his policies, they'll vote for him based on how 'Christian' he is compared to other Republicans.
