1681  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: June 04, 2016, 09:35:39 PM
How do you gain activity points?
How do you increase your status from like full member, to hero, or legendary?
Also, what's the point of these statuses? What makes it valuable? This forum is free, we all created free accounts, so what makes this account, (or any account) valuable?

1. You can activity points by being active, there is a limit of 14 within two-weeks-period
2. To increase the rank from full member (assuming 120 activity points) to hero member (480+) you need +360 activty points (or exactly 1 year) to be active (posting) min 14 posts each two weeks period.
3. Lower rank means more limits like posting, having the right to wear avatar then also signature(font size, color, background color etc.)
@knightdk you are doing a good job contributing to the community with this service, keep it up Smiley
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My whole life is a lie.. on: June 04, 2016, 09:23:01 PM
For a big time I thought that one satoshi equals to 0.000000001 BTCitcoins. But, I missed for a whole decimal. So, I thought that 100k satoshi equals to 0.00001 not 0.0001 Bitcoins. I choose 100k for an example because I'm earning that much daily with a faucet. It is enough for me since my earning are low anyway. So ai thought it was too pow for me, but it's not.

A big miss from me, I was in this lie for 3 months and just found out today. I am blind...

First of all i would suggest you to enjoy your life and leave for a while the faucets, you will understand then that the time you were spending on faucets was useless. Try something bigger, "invest" in your education by learning new things, programming things or anything else, or try to experiment with trading to earn a little bit.
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitCoin price on the day of halving on: June 04, 2016, 09:07:26 PM
According to this countdown http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/ the halvening of bitcoin is only 36 days from now, what effect do you guys think it would have on the price of bitcoin? will it explode or will nothing happen at all?

The price can't "explode" as you stated but i think that the price will not change immediately. Before the halving i think that more people will put more money to invest in bitcoin which increases the price then will wait until the price gets higher to sell them which will be probably few months after the halving.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where and how much bitcoin you spent today? on: June 04, 2016, 08:24:00 AM
Saying the truth I'm trying to not spend even any satoshi because the price is keeping increasing and i think i will lose money by spending bitcoin before the halving. I even stopped trading altcoins to bitcoins and vise versa because the exchange rate of a specific altcoin is changing to often and it is only keeping decreasing.
1685  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when Chinese speculators enter Bitcoin market? on: June 04, 2016, 07:44:16 AM
Speculating is a widespread hobby in China. We can see this quite well based on the past years. First, the Chinese invested heavily in real estate. When the market slowed, the speculators turned to the Chinese stock market. As it slowly collapsed last year, most speculators got into the resource sector and caused rising prices. It is only a matter of time before the Chinese speculating in a big way with Bitcoin and crypto currencies. What do you expect in this case, when suddenly hundreds of thousands more people are speculating with crypto coins with high leverage?

Chinese are many in number, and if they enter bitcoin definitely they will pump the price more than x2. I have no information about them but now it's a good time to invest in bitcoin because of the price increased the last few days which is around +$130.

Created a new pastebin: http://pastebin.com/8mFHLL5J

Shorena can verify this since I am new in this, and something might go wrong with the tables.

Btw I will recommend staying away from ICOO campaign as the ICOO project smells scummy. It is similar to Ophion.

The ICOO signature campaign is managed by SFR10 and he is also escrowing the funds for 2 week here is the transaction id [1]. SFR10 is trusted enough at least for me and he manged many different campaigns so he has experience.

1688  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: June 02, 2016, 07:59:13 PM

I tried two different websites to verify your signature but unable to verify it. What is your message?
Tried the third row but does not work. Message can't be empty.

Did you actually try to verify a signed message without knowing the message ? That's very wise of you.How did you get the Hero Rank ?

What are you trying to say? Or you yourself don't know what you just wrote?
As i stated in the previous post i couldn't verify it without message and it is not me but the two websites. I'm not forced to show you but publicly i made few screenshot of the error that i got and proving that you are wrong.

Have fun!

1691  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's halving buy or die time on: June 02, 2016, 06:08:41 PM
Markets have just consolidated from the last rise in a sideways $535-540 channel with a strong $534 floor.  When a strong floor is in, the market tends to go up again shortly after.
~Snipped~

Checking the stats for the past 7 days we can see that the graph is mostly green (not counting -0.25% once). The price has become pretty stable for a short time of time. But the chances for an increase price in the upcoming weeks are high (at least my opinion), I don't expect to be doubled (not this year) but a slightly increase like the last time is good enough.
1692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe wallet for a newbie on: June 02, 2016, 06:00:24 PM
I am reading the forum daily and am registered here a few days ago.
What do you people suggest for a safe wallet for a newbie, I am not that tech guy , just the average joe with computers.
I have read that Blockchain.info is one of the best wallets, but I have also read that there are a lot of other wallets that they call local wallets like Bitcoin core Multibit Electrum and Armory also phone wallets. Which is one you can sleep safe at night ?

I would suggest you or an online wallet or a hardware wallet. An online wallet like coinbase is good start for a newbie, it is accessible from many devices and also they have their own native mobile app both for iOS and Android, so it is portable. The cons of it is that they do not provide you with the private key (but you can sign bitcoin message). About hardware wallet they have different price and each has different features, it's like an USB plug & play.
1693  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.02 BTC July 1 Prediction Competition! on: June 02, 2016, 05:36:12 PM
As you've seen, during this week there was really great movement into the Bitcoin economy. In your opinion, what will happen during this month?

What is your USD price prediction for July 1, 2016? Post them below!

0.02BTC to the closest guesser! (BitfinexUSD @ 12 pm GMT)

Deadline is fixed at 22th June !

The last pump that was recently surprised me and my prediction because i trade time to time and didn't expected a high increase, so within a month can happen anything but i think it will be +15%, my prediction is $620.

1697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit $600 this year or down to $200? on: May 21, 2016, 09:37:51 PM
I think bitcoin is now the best online invest option. But before investing part of  capital in bitcoin, i would like to know what people think about bitcoin price will stay on this year.I do think that it will rise up to $600 but i am asking myself why it wouldn't down to $200 this year?

Will it hit $600 this year or down to $200? let me know what you think about it.

It is more likely that the price will be increased later this year (at least my opinion) because of the halving and the trend of buying bitcoins, also the increased size of a block to 2MB will be implemented soon.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: May 21, 2016, 09:25:23 PM
I voted for the second one, so did 66% of the total, i prefer more in bitcoins because i do not spend to much money and the saved money i prefer to hold on bitcoin because those bitcoins can value more later this year.
1699  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: visit my website and tell me your opinion on: May 21, 2016, 08:52:52 PM
visit my website and tell me your opinion

http://satoshihoney.faucetfly.com/

Your website(faucet) was loaded very fast to me, the ads are like normal. The payout is good 100 minutes are enough for a user to come back and get another raward even though i think the reward is a bit low, i was able to get 20 satoshis.
1700  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Full Member Account Almost Senior Member ! on: May 21, 2016, 08:40:51 PM
Maybe it is easier to forbid public selling off accounts, this way we can reduce scams?
I dont know what did he wrong?  If he selling his account everything is legal here.. Wink

Selling and buying accounts are legit and it is allowed by administrator(s) of the forum. But telling publicly which account are you selling is not preferred because the buyer don't want to receive an account that is marked as sold.
