1721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 28, 2022, 04:06:00 PM
I basically did this at one point. We were creating a project, and we needed people for a few things, since we were a small project and paid very little, it was just some college kids that we needed to work with for small stuff. Like telegram community management, all they had to do was be online when we were asleep and delete all the spam, that's it, they didn't even need to respond with anything specific, just say that we would be online later on and that would be fine.

Secondly twitter check, like see what people wrote as response while we were asleep, and respond accordingly, like "contact us at @here for further support" type of stuff. Basically just be online when we are offline, that's it. We paid crypto for it as well, and it worked out fine.
1722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 28, 2022, 02:16:36 PM
Being comfortable with your strategy doesn't mean that you shouldn't really learn what others are doing. Obviously get better at studying other people and learning how to make money as well. It just means that you should try to avoid using a strategy just because someone else is using it.

I personally try to avoid it as much as I could, and just study what they do and try to apply it to what I could do. Doesn't mean that you have to do exactly one to one what they are doing, but also doesn't mean you need to ignore everyone else. Learn what they do, study it, and then apply it to yourself if you think that it fits your own strategy or mindset. That’s how each strategy starts out.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 27, 2022, 08:11:35 PM
Honestly Madrid keeps getting wins all the time, no idea how Sevilla could get a bad result at all. I understand that Sevilla could win games and they are doing it again this week as well but it is impossible for them to win every single game, they will eventually lose points. Meanwhile Real Madrid is doing fine as well, meaning they are not leaving the top spot to anyone.

I know we would love to see Sevilla win even if we are not Sevilla fans, I am not even Spanish and I would guess that it would be awesome for me to see Sevilla win because it is a rare thing and not something I could see plenty of times in my life hence why it looks so much entertaining.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: Ban Russia from SWIFT! Protect Ukrainian Sky! Send NATO to Ukraine! on: February 27, 2022, 05:04:55 PM
Germany just decided to send tanks and so forth to Ukraine's help as well. USA and UK already did a lot of horrible financial strains, basically as much as cutting all financial ties and keeping all Russian money in their nation. Russia is back to 2016 levels of economy ON TOP OF all the inflation. Imagine if you were making the same money you did during 2016 but with today’s prices, could you even survive that? You would be so much worse, I would probably be going hungry.

At the end of the day, Russia is getting all they deserve with the exception of getting a fight back. Ukrainians are fighting back, but other nations are not helping in the war efforts, just regular words and so forth.
1725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: February 27, 2022, 02:14:12 PM
I don't mind if bitcoin won't recover until 2025 because that means we can still have the opportunity to collect more bitcoins from now until the recovery takes place later. We still have at least 3 more years to try to get more bitcoins and I'm sure if the price moves up and down more, we can profit. We can save profits in bitcoins until the recovery phase comes again and we will have a chance to sell at the next high price.
Yes, i agree with the first part that we need to collect as much bitcoin as possible but i may not agree that bitcoin may not recover until 2025. What if i say that bitcoin will reach another all time high before the next halving or before 2025 ?

Believe me. i am still hoping for the blow off top for bitcoin which may be over 100,000$ and that too in 2022.  Smiley There will be a bad bear market of 2 years after this event.
I would agree with you on the 2025 and before part, it will definitely recover before that. I believe that it will recover to 50k+ in 2022 without a doubt, that will certainly happen if you ask me. And in 2023 we are going to be 100k+ for sure, don't know if it will be January 2023, or December 2023 but I know that it will happen somewhere between those days.

However, the important thing is that we are doing fine right now with the bitcoin price being like this after all the horrible stuff and all the economies of the world being so harshly crashing. Look at every economy, not just Russia or Ukraine, but all the others, there is chaos everywhere and we need to just calm down and expect that bitcoin is not untouchable during this period as well.
1726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to SODL on: February 27, 2022, 08:19:54 AM
There will always be people who are willing to sell for what they feel it is risky to hold, and I am fine with that. If people hold bitcoin forever without ever selling it, they would be losing a ton of money, and we should not be in support of that, the price of bitcoin would never go low if that was the case.

The reality is that we should be happy about these people, if they keep on selling then there is a chance we could buy crypto for cheap, I see this as others loss, and my gain. Let them sell as much as they possibly can, I just wish I could buy bitcoin at under 10k again, I would be so happy if that happened. It would take us back for years and would take years to come back but I have time, or at least I hope I have time (you never know what may happen tomorrow) and that way I could buy cheap and wait for a decade if I have to make insane profits.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 26, 2022, 04:36:31 PM
Second legs are almost always more fun because they are elimination games and I am 100% sure that we are going to see all teams be a bit more offensive. Teams like City do not have to because they are easily getting to next stage anyway, maybe Liverpool won't be neither but they are not that much clear out of the water, however Inter has been not so great lately. Aside from those two, every other team will be a lot more offensive and try to score, probably score early as well.

So, we are going to see plenty of goals, either from the team that is attacking, or from a counter attack as well. It is going to be something fun but the bad thing is it is 2 games a piece, meaning we can't really watch them back to back or on different days, you need to pick one game and watch it, that is the hardest part about this stage, you need to pick a game and how do you pick one? They are all great.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 26, 2022, 01:43:04 PM
We shouldn't really make a conclusion out of just a single game. However, what did people really expected? I mean Embiid is on an MVP candidate season, and they just added another MVP level player next to him. Not like they lost anything neither because Simmons wasn't playing, so they literally just got Harden for free technically. That should be good enough reason to expect them to play a lot better, it is really easy prediction. Will they be good enough to win the east?

I do not know, Harden has been known to crack under pressure and end up losing, so I would guess that there could be some situations where Harden starts to suck during playoffs, but if he could get it together, then he could be doing a lot better in the long run.
1729  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: February 26, 2022, 08:04:42 AM
I am not sure about creating a new project, but working for crypto is by far the best thing I have ever done in my life. Even on the worst year of my life so far, it has been the shining gem of my life. I have missed quotas and deadlines and I feel sorry for it, but I am 100% happy that I have a job in crypto.

It allows you to do two things:
A) You are getting crypto, so you can save crypto directly
B) You are earning it from your home without going out.

This drops the costs as well, people forget that going to work is an expense too, take the bus if you want as cheapest option and yet you are still spending time and money for that road, being at home is cheaper no matter what. I feel like creating a new project would cost you a lot, but working for crypto is free and anyone could make around 300-400 dollars per month on crypto if they work hard enough.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: February 26, 2022, 03:32:09 AM
I sure with Trabzonspor as guarantee for the champion but take few match later and keep consistent, exactly they have easy match on this week with Kayserispor and looks standing on 11th is not difficult if want get three points, but I see they can lock champion as soon possible if begin on this week with winning but if failed still need almost six or seven match later close to announce as new champion on Turkish primer league and have chance will pass to champion league.
They do not have to really rush into things, I mean look at the point difference we are talking about champions already and that is a big big big difference. This is why I do not think that they would be really "fighting" for anything, they could lose any game and they would still be champions. They are 14 points ahead of their closest rival and need to lose 5 games just to get caught by a team that would win every single game.

There is no possible way for that, it is impossible and they are already champions. Which is why they will not end up winning every single game and that is why gambling for them is a lot easier since they will play without pressure.
1731  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: February 25, 2022, 03:22:26 PM
I still can't get how you are thinking that developing some project can cater to both needs. These are two different groups differing in terms of income, standard of living, health conditions, employment, social status and so on. Catering to the rich might get you bigger profit per sale but lesser in frequency and opposite in poor.

Again there will always be a target audience for each project. But it would be difficult to market to both groups.

I am not saying it's impossible but seems unrealistic to me.
I would guess that one company could create two different products that cater them both. Like rich people and poor people all use facebook (maybe you think Jeff Bezos doesn't, but millionaires wives still do) or instagram, we see poor people and rich people there. Or a company that owns a lot of cows, they could sell cheap milk, or they could build almond milk or whatever or organic and so forth bla bla, and sell two different products.

One clothing company could create a basic shirt, and sell it to everyone for cheap, whereas they could create expensive coats and sell it to rich. All in all, there are methods where EVERYONE could buy from you. Biggest example has always been social media. Look at twitter, Elon Musk, worlds richest person tweets probably more than the poorest person in the world, and both help twitter earn money from the ads.
1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: February 25, 2022, 04:35:56 AM
Already we have been in a sideways to bearish trend before these, so the price has been going down, and it’s likely that we might be seeing more of the fall, but we can’t be fully sure about that. One thing I do know for sure is that situations like this are usually temporary and the market will later recover after everything, that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t take the third option that you have provided because the least thing I would want to see now is another world war; nobody wants to see war at this point, that’s like the worst that can happen. Innocent citizens are the ones who suffer when there is a war, they are victims, and not the elites who sits up there and give orders. So I am not wishing for war, I am hoping this doesn’t escalate to something else.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 25, 2022, 03:05:38 AM
A tie between ATM and United could be something very great, I mean it means that United actually got a tie at Madrid and that is a great thing. Now they are going to back to Manchester and that is going to be a lot better for them. I am not saying that we are going to see a win from United but I would say getting a tie at an away game is better than getting a tie at the home game and that means ATM is at a worse situation right now then United.

I would guess that if United managed to get a tie at the away game then it should be easier for them to get a win now against ATM at their home game. This is not guaranteed but it is definitely a better situation to be in.
1734  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Crypto drafted bill release date shifted, do not be misinformed on: February 24, 2022, 03:58:18 PM
There seems to be a little of a yes, but no, but maybe, but not yet, but already in all this. I guess they want to get it right, which is really what you need to do to inspire confidence and create a healthy ecosystem. The moment Russia makes the regulation people will start making their decisions and then there is much more impact to any change. It is the same for digital USD and digital Euro. Anyway, Russia seems a bit busy now shelling and manoeuvring around to pay excessive attention to this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5386322.0
That is exactly what crypto is like in most places as well. There is nothing that could be done about the current situation that could be changed without Putin, he is the almighty for Russia and right now he is not really caring about crypto at all.

You may think that crypto could help them a lot but he really can't just be bothered by it. Dude is willing to do something that is literally against everyone around the world, there is only just a few nations that would be supporting them and this is why I ended up guessing Putin just ignores it and then we are going to just see them basically be on this way or that way for a long time.
1735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 24, 2022, 01:51:43 PM
We are going to be doing better in the long run. We are not going to end up with a low price forever without going up, it is going to be fine in the long run. You should not really get worried about anything like this just because the price went down. Just focus on the future and you will realize that in the long run the price always goes up and we should not be really doing anything that would be terrible for all of us.

I am doing fine and I will do fine right now because I keep buying whenever the price goes down and I will be doing a lot better in the long run as well because I like to hold it as long as I have to. That doesn't mean that I would want it to be zero, it just means that the drops could be advantage for you.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: February 23, 2022, 03:48:10 PM
It's sad to see how the behavior of developed countries is changing. War to punish poverty riots is not the way to create a better world. I don't support what the US and the west are doing, but seeing as many problems have existed after many wars, perhaps the beneficiaries we don't know will continue to manipulate everything. What the US did before through economic sanctions only created more hatred, and we are just small people who want the operators to have a peaceful solution. I put my faith in God, as well as love the Buddha, and look at it to build a good life.
I would guess that it is a bit more about politics then punishment. It is all nationalistic approach and getting some things done. Crimea was the same thing as well, there were a lot of Russian populated areas there, people were mainly Russian actually but the land belonged to Ukraine politically, Russia decided since Russians lived there, it should be liberated and they did it, and nobody did a thing about it. Since, Russia knew that it would be horrible if they kept pushing forever, Putin just enacted a plan to keep doing the same thing with just some time in between so it wouldn't look bad.

Now, they are doing it again. This probably either gains Putin votes (which he doesn't need since they are not fair elections) or it just makes him feel good about being a dictator or something. Basically, it is all bad and it all ties with Putin in the end.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: February 23, 2022, 10:38:22 AM
Governments like the idea cryptocurrencies are trackable, but they don't like its decentralized nature, so they are going to fixe it by creating their own centralized cryptocurrencies that aren't different from traditional fiat currencies in value, purpose and usage. I believe their impact on crypto market will be zero, because people who are investing in bitcoin and altcoins aren't interest in fiat currencies, especially from third world countries. Moreover, there is already stablecoins which follow dollar price, the best option of its kind and the only one needed to avoid cryptocurrency market's volatility.
Yeah, as someone who is a cryptocurrency trader all you’re going to need is the stable coins that we already have here in the cryptocurrency market, such as DAI and USDT, and nothing more. You don’t need CBDC because you won’t be able to trade with any of those.

When I researched on CBDC to understand what it really is, and to know whether it’s going to have any features at all that will differentiate it from the original fiat, but there isn’t. If you install the CBDC wallet from the Central Banks, you will see that only thing you can use this to do is simply just to send and receive money in your country, and it is not like Bitcoin where you can send and receive money from anywhere around the world. So it’s of no use. If I wanted to do local transactions, I can use my online banking.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 23, 2022, 02:32:45 AM
Last season Mercedes had a horrible test series, and we all saw how they ended the season. We should not be making these type of predictions from just the look of the cars and even during the test period as well. These are just periods where these teams are finally testing these cars on the track, of course the machines they have back at their factory gives them a certain range of understanding how it will do.

However, without the human interaction and all the other stuff that will be unknown, they may be off a tiny bit and considering a "0.5 second slower car" then aston martin and ferrari deals need to put on hold and we need to wait and just see.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: February 23, 2022, 01:44:10 AM
Even though Basaksehir is not an Anatolian club (literally in Europe by geography Cheesy) I think they are at that level as well. You have to understand that even during their worst periods, we have these big clubs making more money because of their fan count, they have a lot more jersey sales and ticket sales and make more money from TV rights and all that.

Galatasaray for example is doing soooo horrible this year, they are seriously screwed and even though they managed to beat Goztepe on the very last minute of the game, they are still bad and at the end of the day they will still make more money than most teams above them. There will be handful of teams that will make more money than them this season even though they are fighting to get out of relegation zone.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 22, 2022, 08:19:50 PM
The battle for the international places is in full swing. But there is also a fight in the lower part of the table. Against relegation. Fürth is 99% relegated. Stuttgart is at 17th place and 4 points behind 15th place. That is doable, I would say. But if I look at the last games....terrible. Their last won was 11 December. That doesn't look good for Stuttgart.
From the 9th position to 4th position all have just 3 point difference. One game lost by one and won by the other and we could literally talk about 4th team dropping to 7th or something like that in a single week if everything aligns perfectly. There is really nothing that would be shocking if something like that happens and I would understand that if it happened as well. The entry to European cups (europa or even conference league) is still quite fired up and I really love watching those.

The bottom only has 2 teams if you ask me, Augsburg or Berlin will relegate and they are fighting and the bottom two will definitely go down, and anyone above them would be out as well, so the last position of relegation is the only one. But the European one has around 6 teams fighting for a spot which is amazing to watch since it could change at any moment.
