1741  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia gives in and considers accepting bitcoin exchange on: February 22, 2022, 10:36:24 AM
It is not "gives in", it is realizes the potential profit of it. I mean Russia is about to wage a war, or maybe they won't , we really do not know. However money is something they will always need and if they just accept exchanges and they tax them, there are a ton of taxes to be made from it. Russia is heavily crypto loving nation from the citizens, and if the politicians realize this then they will realize that they will be making a lot of money.

All of those people will use the exchanges and they would end up with paying the trading fees as well and when they do the exchanges will make a lot of money and when they make a lot of money then they will end up paying a lot of taxes and that helps Russia overall.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: February 21, 2022, 08:21:03 PM
Both fenerbahce and besiktas are not that much far away from the European competition levels. Third and fourth is right there and they have a few point difference and I believe that there could be something that could be done about it for sure. I am not saying that it will happen but they should be aiming at least that much.

Right now, it is Adana demirspor and Basaksehir there and we know how one of them did, and we know the other one wouldn't be really that great as well. Bigger clubs could at least spend a bit more money and could get a bit better results. It's not a given, we have seen them get eliminated right away plenty of times as well, if that will be the case then they may as well not even go.
1743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 21, 2022, 05:39:10 AM
You would feel really lucky if you got any of those NFT from Rollbit V2 sale which is anticipated soon because they have said some extra benefits this time but i would say if you are gambler on their platform then it would be more beneficial to buy it as most of them will be gambling related but on the other side you could make profits by selling it for higher price.
Extra benefits? What could it be. Many perks are already given to Rollbot V1 holders so if that is the case that would be more beneficial to those who wants to own a Rollbots V2. The good thing about this is, its open for everyone regardless if you're a gambler or not. Buying these NFTs are profitable if we based on the previous sales for V1 due to the increase of price on the marketplace.
Imagine doing things like getting higher cashbacks, or getting affiliate income but bigger, or getting free bets, or getting dividends. NFT could be anything, it is not art, or it is not some pictures or images, people keep mistaking the NFT art part with the whole NFT world. NFT is basically like ownership paper that says you own something and that is the proof, this could be for a house, for a music, for an art of course, for a book, for your chair, it is anything.

So, if you are given an NFT from a casino it means you are getting a utility regarding this situation, which results with the fact that casinos could give out anything they want to you, with a good NFT art of course but the art is the second stage of it and not the important part.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 04:24:47 PM
I am sure that there will always be people who will argue about him sharing his betting slip. I mean at the end of the day, there are people who complain about people smoking on movies, because it is bad for you and it is bad for you that is true but just because of that you can't ban drinking booze or smoking cigs from the movies at all, that's censorship.

This is why the USA has all those rules that allow people and defend their rights to keep those in the movies. Same here, sure gambling could be bad for you and that is understandable but that doesn't change the fact that he could share it and he has the right to do so, you have to keep yourself protected, the whole world can't protect you, you gotta do it yourself.
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Nice job Justin! on: February 20, 2022, 03:05:15 PM
What people are missing on all of these talks is that Justin and the government sees this as justified because these are criminals on their mind. You may agree or disagree with that, that's fine but you are still considering like they are confiscating money of the fair and regular citizens which they shouldn't. They are not doing that, according to them they are trying to stop a criminal organization. Think of it like mafia, for them it is like they are fighting against a mafia. Sure it may not be like that for you, but it is for them.

These are "people who are going against the laws of a nation and endangering both themselves and others and causing death" according to the government. Like I said, you may disagree on the view, but you have to understand that if a government sees a group like that, then they will confiscate all the money and the freedom of those people because they are dangerous people according to them.
1746  Economy / Economics / Re: Why many USA senator against bitcoin? on: February 20, 2022, 09:12:03 AM
That sounds harsh when you call them old he he but I think its not about how old with them because there are also older people that like btc and there are also young people that does not like btc. Since, there are people that does not like to use a btc. Why are they worrying too much and thinks btc will take over dollar? Also I do not think that its a bad thing for bitcoin to be taxed but is not it supposed to be good? Because, that only means that they legalize btc as a currency if they will taxed it.

USA dollar is so powerful because this is the primary currency to measure btc. USA adopting btc wont affect their influence over the other countries because I think its not only about the currency but its the overall performance of a country.
The taxing of it is definitely not something that you should be worried about because it means it is legalized but the regulations are not stopping with the taxes neither. Look at New York and look at Texas, the differences there are staggering.

While in New York it would be nearly impossible to get a license to start a business and you would have to basically give up so much, whereas in Texas you could start one for 250 bucks and basically a promise to not do anything illegal. That type of difference what makes these types of senators go against bitcoin and this is what makes regulations matter the most for crypto people as well.

Yes, we would love a regulation but what type of it? If it is New York kind then it would be horrible, if it is the Texas kind then it would be wonderful. It is not always "they made it legal and that is a good thing" if the legal part comes with so much problems.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 05:41:01 AM
having 1 bitcoin is the dream of many people, including me, because nowadays, collecting 1 bitcoin is very difficult. The current bitcoin price doesn't allow the average person to buy 1 bitcoin instantly but they can buy small amounts multiple times. People who already have 1 bitcoin will want to collect 1 more bitcoin because their target in collecting bitcoins will always increase, but that's good for them because at least they will always try to get more bitcoins.
It is possible for anyone to own up to 1 BTC. It is all about how you plan to go about it. I don’t have 1 Bitcoin yet, but I’m almost close to that. Although I’m not really like forcing myself that much to get to that point, I’m just investing and that never really stops me from taking profits whenever I feel like I need to take my profit.

There are other things that I also need to do, which I need money to achieve them, Bitcoin isn’t only the source of income that I focus on, but it has been one of the most reliable sources of my income, and I have to rely on the profit I’m making to build other sources as well. For some time now I’ve been making use of dollar cost averaging to be gathering as much Bitcoin as I can: I just keep investing, and whenever I check I see that the amount keeps on increasing. So I know that as time goes on I would reach that one Bitcoin for sure.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 19, 2022, 08:05:53 PM
Honestly when the rising star challenges does better than the celeb game, that is always a plus for the NBA, because normally the rising stars games are too much "fun" and not enough competition and it wasn't really that much entertaining to watch some superstars end up not caring about it, yes they are young kids and not all-star players but they are still the cream of the crop in the levels to play for NBA and be the best young players and for the past few seasons it was all about fun and their fun turns out to be not fun to watch.

Celeb games normally end up being better because there are entertainers there, Kevin Hart literally dominated the fun part of it for years, and this year's wasn't too bad neither but Rising Stars finally competed and that made it so much better.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kraken CEO give a heads up to carefully use CEX on: February 19, 2022, 06:40:45 PM
I would guess that Kraken have to say this as well, I mean not like they could deny it, then FBI would be all over them. Plus they got a banking right as well, don't know if they actually started the bank or not but I know that they had that right. Which is a big proof enough to show you that they are quite legal and out there. They do not have stocks trading on the market like Coinbase does as far as I know, but they are still a huge company.

I believe that they will be more and more inside the law over time and that requires them to give up on some of the freedom that crypto brings. If you are worried about your money, just get a ledger nano and you would be able to protect it very carefully.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: February 19, 2022, 05:30:41 PM
Do not forget the adjusting part as well. Any great trader would know that you would have to adjust your system time and time again. Even a system that works perfectly will end up being not a great thing in the long run.

Doesn't mean that you shouldn't use that, it just means that even the most perfect one will need to be changed eventually. That is why I believe that we should not be focusing too much on the creating the perfect system, but try to have a system that is open for micro-adjustments at all times. That way you would never have a settled system for too long and you will always end up with better and better results in the long run as well.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 18, 2022, 08:50:33 PM
Barcelona really looks like they are getting "better" but it is not really this game that shows it. The goal was from penalty and a mistake from the defender and it wasn't even like an intentional hand ball neither, it was a mistake and even with that they just got a 1-1 tie. They are still lacking on defense and defensive midfields, the goal was easily preventable if the defense covered their man properly but they didn't, hell even the first shot was saved and the dude still had time to shoot again.

I would have to say that they are going to only get better and Napoli is a better opponent than most teams in la liga but they are going to have a hard time next game.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 18, 2022, 07:23:30 PM
There are few "easy" games for premier league this week. First of all we have Liverpool versus Norwhich which should be easy enough, I am expecting Liverpool to win with a good margin, so I am going to do 1.5+ goals on that game. Then we have City vs Spurs, which should be another easy one, I will just do moneyline on City and nothing more. Then we have Arsenal versus Brentford, that is not going to be easy because Brentford likes to shock the world but I feel like Arsenal needs points direly enough to lock into this game so Arsenal win shouldn't be that weird.

We also have Chelsea versus Crystal Palace and with Tuchel in charge Chelsea is rarely ever slacking off, so they should play this like any other game and the game is easy enough for them to destroy Palace. United versus Leeds a bit weird one, United should normally win but they have been wacky all season.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 18, 2022, 10:24:11 AM
Ferrari definitely looks sleek. It is such a nice looking car, maybe it is the nostalgia speaking but they are definitely one of the better looking cars in the entire sport for me. That could be because of schumi or that could be just true I do not know, how would you know if you are biased or not Cheesy. At the end, it is still danger bells for Aston Martin with the only car being B method and all others are A.

I feel like this year's Haas will be aston martin which is horrible considering they have Vettel with them, which will not be great for him, just a few seasons after being 4 times in a row champion, dude managed to end up with the worst possible team (maybe) this year, and that is not really cool to see him in.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 06:26:28 AM
At the end of the day it is his money and he can do whatever he wants with it. He managed to make 2+ million dollars profit from his 1.3 million or whatever bet as well so he knew what he was doing. He got very lucky with the Odell Beckham Jr bet because he got injured and left not so soon later, and that means if Odell didn't had a touchdown right away on the first quarter, it would have been bet over for that one. Rams winning however would have paid it both I believe, and they did, in a very close fashion as well so he must have been scared out of his mind. Dude is already super rich so losing this wouldn't really be a life breaker for him, but winning is certainly a great feeling, or at least should be.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 17, 2022, 08:08:17 PM
Haaland, starting in 13 out of 14 league games this season, scored 16!! goals and made 5!! assists. That are 21 scorer points in 14 games with one game only coming from the bench. Any questions regarding his performance? Haha Cheesy

Lewandowski started 22/22 games, scored 26 goals and made 1 assist.

Haaland plays for Dortmund, Lewandowski for Bayern. Now it would be awesome to let them switch roles for next season and compare the statistics again. Lewandowski to Dortmund, Haaland to Bayern.
I would wager all of my money that Haaland will do better than Lewa in that case. However, the main thing that kept Haaland away was injuries and the games missing. Lewa had 22 games whereas Haaland had only 14 games, that is 8 game difference.

Even on average if he scored 8 more goals, he would have 24 goals instead of 16, that is only 2 goals behind Lewa, with 1.26 or so average, that means 8 more games would equal to 10 more and he would be equal to Lewa in that case. I am not saying that these will be the scores, he could have scored 30 or he could have scored 20, we do not know because he missed those games. At the end of the day this is what I meant by consistency.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why pancake performance is so terrible? on: February 17, 2022, 02:49:03 PM
So far as far as I know the performance of pancakes is fine and nothing is bad but there are lots of fraudulent coins that are so easily released on pancakes without them thinking about the risks, sometimes they don't even pay the fees.
You may think it's fine but it's not for the creator of this thread. if he was buying at the top and that means if he was also loosing his money on the pancake token. This is horrible thing when you are seeing your portfolios are decreasing a lot as well. I think that he may not feel the same like you. You didn't invest in cake and that's why you're saying like that.
The thing is, you could buy at the top for something like Cake and if you calculate the staking profit that you are making, from nearly 50%+ yearly ROI from it, you will see that you are dropping the price average that way.

You spend 100 bucks to purchase a certain sum, lets just say 50 of them, means 2 bucks a cake, I know its more but just for example, then you stake another 50, which drops your average to 1 dollar each. You can calculate based on what you purchased from and how much you hold. So, staking is basically a way to drop your average, the price itself could go down, but if it goes down lesser than what you made from staking then you could still be in profit.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 16, 2022, 06:45:55 PM
Haaland is having a bit of a trouble at the goal scoring part for the table because he played only 14 games, he is not even second behind lewandowski, he is third behind Schick which is a bad situation for him. He has better goals per game compared to Lewandowski, which shows a great potential but he has been injury ridden all his career, nothing too big and he doesn't get injured easily and only misses a few games but 14 games versus 22 of Lewa is the proof that longevity and consistency is more important than scoring at times.

I believe that if Haaland could go to a huge team, like City for example, that is where he will shine for sure, he will actually make a difference and get UCL with them and be loved by everyone.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 16, 2022, 03:46:04 PM
PSG's performance yesterday was not convincing. But neither was Real's. Overall, the game was disappointing and PSG won happily but deservedly in the end. Real had no real chance, especially the first half was really lame. You should expect more from such a top match. Nevertheless, after the abolition of the away goals rule, everything is still open for Real, although they have to offer a much better performance in the second leg to have a chance of advancing.
I do not think that PSG played any bad, they played very well and they had some connections but they just got unlucky. Even mbappe himself had 2 great chances that he could have scored, and Messi missed a penalty as well so that is 3 chances, add in the goal they already had that is 4 chances total but only 1 converted.

I am not considering all the shots, I am just saying clearly easier to score possessions and there were 4 of them. You do not easily get 4 "clear" goal scoring chances against a team like Real that easily. They were great but they were unlucky. Real on the other hand looked terrible, they really should thank casemiro and militao, they were stars of the game for them and allowed them to have at least a chance.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2022, 06:01:37 AM
I understand what the player is going through and what this might mean to him.

But at the same time, I absolutely do not agree with this because this seems to be almost suicidal.

And I honestly cannot decide if this is bravery or stupidity. This involves a huge amount of risk for the player. But I have to say that this man is something else. He prioritized football over his own health, this is not something that should be done but this is actually amazing.
It is stupidity. If there is a danger of him dying on the pitch, then no team should be getting him any minutes at all and he should be willing to retire. I get that he is young and not at a retirement age and he doesn't know what to do and feels like he has some years left to provide some meaningful football.

However, he is not going to make too much anyway and he could simply just turn his football knowledge into something else other than a player. He could be a staff, he could be a commentator, he could be anything in the football field, a scout even. That will not pay him as much maybe but the difference wouldn't be big enough to make him go broke. The amount of money in football is good enough that he should have enough to retire by now and that is why I doubt that it is about finances.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 15, 2022, 11:55:01 PM
I do not think that Lewa could score 16 more goals in 12 more games at his age. Not that it is impossible for him but between UCL and having some rest days, even missing one game could be very crucial on that situation. Not saying that he wouldn't be able to, but it would be very difficult. He needs to relax as well, playing both UCL and then the league games would be very tiring and it would increase the injury risk which the team would probably now allow.

Considering he may play like 10 or so games, that is 1.6 goals per game and that is not impossible for someone like Lewa but it is quite difficult and unlikely. If it was like 1 goal per game average required, then I would definitely see it happening.
