1741  Economy / Economics / Re: Finance is a jigsaw puzzle. on: April 16, 2023, 01:39:23 PM
To obtain sufficient financing, the rule is simple, reduce your expenses to a minimum and obtain a positive income that covers those expenses, and therefore you must, at an early age (for example, from 10 years), start achieving these leaders, which is that you have a positive income equal to your expenses at least so that your job is achieved You luxury and increase your positive income.

As for positive income, it is any income that does not require your personal presence, such as real estate or land rent, shares, intellectual property returns, and other income.

Reducing your spending is the essence of the crisis, and it is something that will not happen as you get older and your responsibilities increase, especially if you decide to get married and have children.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 16, 2023, 01:16:03 PM
Cardano has performed well this year, as the price has returned to $0.425 levels, which is close to what it was in November 2022 when the FTX platform collapsed.

The average purchase price for Cardano was $0.548, so the losses achieved by investors are less than 30%, so historically, the loss rate is much better than many currencies.

If I had a choice between Ripple and Cardano, I would choose Cardano.

This is not investment advice.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Progression in price on: April 16, 2023, 01:00:10 PM
The only thing that moves like this is the linear function, where the price will increase at a specific price during a specific time. Bitcoin is not like that, as there is no linear pattern in the rise or correction, and the price movement is random and far from being verified.
We will be lucky if we get a price of $40,000 this year. We have risen significantly over the previous period.

1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Number Of Bitcoin Millionaires Doubles In 2023 on: April 16, 2023, 12:47:29 PM
It is better to talk at the level of addresses and bitcoins, not people and the dollar, as all numbers will be just a guess due to the fluctuation of the bitcoin price and the possibility of one person obtaining more than one bitcoin address.

Therefore, the tax reporter is the only one who has data on the assets of many individuals, and even this information will not be accurate, as some tend to hide their wealth from the tax authorities.

Increasing the number of addresses holding more than 1 BTC does not mean anything because a single individual or service can divide their assets into thousands of addresses, as was the case with the Chipmixer service.

The only confirmation is the number of coins withdrawn from the platforms.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we want inflation for good value on BTC? on: April 15, 2023, 06:36:47 PM
If cash becomes useless, then this means that there will be a war, and therefore no one wants that, but all that is required is that you have enough money to live your life and then, if one bitcoin is worth 10 million dollars, then the value of the dollar will not buy you gum.

Thus hyperinflation is not beneficial but bad for all.

1746  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [New] Cryptocurrency logos database on: April 15, 2023, 05:58:21 PM
The idea is beautiful, I liked it, but can you add more details, such as the historical development of the design, where was the first time the design was mentioned and the subsequent stages, and add a story about the logo if possible, meaning the reason for choosing this logo.
The first logo of Bitcoin was not the current one, but rather this, and if you search in the forum, you will find its story.

1747  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New website. Looking for feedback on: April 15, 2023, 05:11:25 PM
What is your goal of the project, is it profitable? If so, then the idea is old and no one expects a rewarding financial return from it. The site is slow and takes a long time to load, so the interface needs a lot of modifications, which are reasons for the user to neglect your site, regardless of the return on it.

If not for profit, many links and redirects are not good for those who want to build a long-term project.
1748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview Of Bitcointalk Contests And Giveaways on: April 15, 2023, 03:33:43 PM
During the past few years, the number of Contests campaigns is rare. AFAIK, the last review campaign was several months ago, and from time to time campaigns for visual content or the best painter, or video content and others occur. Therefore, updating this list may be every 3 days to a week, which is a period Enough for everyone to share.

Therefore, the benefit of such topics will be little if you are committed to keeping the list updated.

It's up to you, and I hope someone can benefit from it.

1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter plans to offer buying and selling of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: April 15, 2023, 03:24:06 PM
Twitter management is turbulent and changing and cannot be relied upon as a long-term trend.
Rather, the platform is looking for reasons to increase income and the number of users. Therefore, I do not rule out the occurrence of such a step, although it seems like rumors due to the regulatory consequences that will reach that platform.

Whether it is a rumor or not, the adoption of Bitcoin is the most prominent sign.

1752  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: April 14, 2023, 12:59:23 PM
If my plans works out am ready to buy more and store! But what's your take on the pump? Do you see it coming or am just doing illusion?
Let's hear from you.
I recommend that you review your plans again because they are based on very optimistic expectations and closer to dreams. We were at 16k a while ago and now at 30k, which is a long distance without a clear correction.

It is true that we can see prices such as 40k and even close to 50k dollars at best, but 60k seems very ambitious.

There are indicators that you should follow, such as:

  • US Consumer Price Index (CPI): It did not give a strong reaction, and thus the correction is near.
  • Rejection to break the next level: Rejection could lead the price of 32K to return to test the critical support level at 26k.

The next trend is bearish in the short term.

1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal government and banks are threats... on: April 14, 2023, 12:38:22 PM
Government loves to impoverished its citizens, a young Nigerian's account was  seize containing N2.5 billion, as bank ought the account to be related with crypto transactions. This is more reason while they're many bans from wicked government who refuses citizens financial rights.
Are you serious? I searched on Google and found that this amount is approximately 5475.119 US Dollar.  Is 5,000 dollars a "considerable" amount in Nigeria, or is the government so strict, or is what happened a "coincidence"?

How much is 2500000 Nigerian Naira in US Dollar?

2500000 Nigerian Naira is 5475.119 US Dollar.
According to what I have read, Bitcoin is not banned in Nigeria, so the forfeiture order means that person has been accused of money laundering, not because of Bitcoin.

Governments fight anything that reduces the control of the central bank, although the continent of Africa is difficult to control money compared to countries such as the United States and Britain.
1754  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: April 14, 2023, 12:10:53 PM
My guess is that this operation was already being planned years ago and it was just a matter of timing to happen after ChipMixer went down.
The beginning of investigations related to CM started in 2021, as mentioned here https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/1574581/download

Quote
Between October 20, 2021, and October 22, 2021, an FBI agent accessed the
ChipMixer website located at the domain chipmixer.com.

And if we noticed that since the middle of last year, DDOS attacks were abnormal for the site, and therefore they may have been able to access some data and continued to make the site work throughout this period before they accessed NGUYEN aka CM.
So the case is several years old and they may have accessed the data before March.

How do you know Chipmixer kept the logs? Do you have any evidence or source of information for this?
And what is the connection between the Chipmixer case and the takedown of the dark market that you mentioned?

What will prove this theory is if more dark web sites were closed during the current (and next year) more than the average in the past years, then there is certainly important data they obtained from CM.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 14, 2023, 11:45:32 AM
Let's know the problem, is it technological or psychological?
According to my experience, people are afraid of something new. I remember that there was a drawing 100 years ago showing electricity as something evil.

Therefore, it is natural for people to be afraid of Bitcoin or warn of it, and we do not forget the role of the media in drawing this bleak picture and the bad use during the first years of this technology.

This generation has become accustomed to the fear of losing money and the rule was, leave the money in the bank, as it might be stolen from someone in the house or damaged by fire or flood, while all the procedure that the bank requires from you is to prove your identity and your signature with a few numbers to remember.

When holding cash is a problem in itself, people will get used to Bitcoin.
1756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your most preferred Bitcoin investment strategy right now? on: April 14, 2023, 11:19:24 AM
The answer to your question, What's your most preferred Bitcoin investment strategy right now, will vary depending on the money you have.

  • Whoever has surplus money and does not want to use it now, HODL will be better for him instead of DCA because the value of bitcoin is variable and increasing, while the value of cash will decrease with time.
  • Whoever has a few money that he strives to save, DCA is better for him, as he will buy every week for a fixed amount, and if he gets a financial surplus, he will not change this policy because an emergency situation may suddenly happen to him.
  • Whoever has free time will try to trade or learn a skill that generates additional income for him.

1757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTCGPT predicts bitcoin price. (Your Fun Bitcoin Crystal Ball) on: April 14, 2023, 11:09:06 AM
Are you the main developer or you are just found it because I sent you a message on Reddit.
I have a few points on website design:

  • Simplify the interface: There are a lot of modern and eye-catching templates.
  • Forecast, Price and Accuracy Chart: Display a chart showing the difference between the real price and the price that was predicted in the past and then show the percentage of accuracy across certain averages.

There is no need for many additional details.

You can move this to speculation.
The results chart can be moved but I don't know about this topic, maybe Project Development.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to backtrace my ADA purchase(need to pay taxes)? on: April 13, 2023, 09:30:00 PM
If you can access your account in bittrex, you can obtain your exact history, and if you do not know how to extract your trading list, contact the support team (some platforms have limits of six months to a year, after which you will not be able to see the past)

If you can't log in, type an estimate and tick that when you want to calculate taxes.

This is not tax advice, and may vary by country.
1759  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - service for anonymization of crypto transactions | Bitcoin mixer on: April 13, 2023, 08:43:32 PM
What is new that this service offers? Your idea is found in most mixing services at lower or equal prices, with the possibility of increasing the time up to 200 hours, not 45 hours.

The deposit address is Legacy address - P2PKH, which means that you will pay a lot of fees as mining fees.

I tried to test the addresses accepted by your service and found that you do not accept the Taproot address - P2TR

The website design is poor and some pages are slow to load.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 13, 2023, 08:26:24 PM
I can divide the currencies you mentioned into groups and thus make it easier for you:

  • $MATIC, $ADA, $SOL, $DOT: This pair's philosophy is that if Ethereum fails, they offer themselves as an alternative, so invest in one of them in addition to Ethereum, not all of them.
  • $SHIB, $DOGE: Both are speculative currencies. I do not advise you to invest more than 1% in them.
  • $VET, $NEAR, $LINK: I have not heard of enthusiastic news about these projects, so do not invest more than 4%.

If I were you, I would invest no more than $3,000 in all of the currencies mentioned.
This will leave you with $30,000 in Bitcoin and $7,000 in Ethereum.
