1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 16, 2022, 03:46:04 PM
PSG's performance yesterday was not convincing. But neither was Real's. Overall, the game was disappointing and PSG won happily but deservedly in the end. Real had no real chance, especially the first half was really lame. You should expect more from such a top match. Nevertheless, after the abolition of the away goals rule, everything is still open for Real, although they have to offer a much better performance in the second leg to have a chance of advancing.
I do not think that PSG played any bad, they played very well and they had some connections but they just got unlucky. Even mbappe himself had 2 great chances that he could have scored, and Messi missed a penalty as well so that is 3 chances, add in the goal they already had that is 4 chances total but only 1 converted.

I am not considering all the shots, I am just saying clearly easier to score possessions and there were 4 of them. You do not easily get 4 "clear" goal scoring chances against a team like Real that easily. They were great but they were unlucky. Real on the other hand looked terrible, they really should thank casemiro and militao, they were stars of the game for them and allowed them to have at least a chance.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2022, 06:01:37 AM
I understand what the player is going through and what this might mean to him.

But at the same time, I absolutely do not agree with this because this seems to be almost suicidal.

And I honestly cannot decide if this is bravery or stupidity. This involves a huge amount of risk for the player. But I have to say that this man is something else. He prioritized football over his own health, this is not something that should be done but this is actually amazing.
It is stupidity. If there is a danger of him dying on the pitch, then no team should be getting him any minutes at all and he should be willing to retire. I get that he is young and not at a retirement age and he doesn't know what to do and feels like he has some years left to provide some meaningful football.

However, he is not going to make too much anyway and he could simply just turn his football knowledge into something else other than a player. He could be a staff, he could be a commentator, he could be anything in the football field, a scout even. That will not pay him as much maybe but the difference wouldn't be big enough to make him go broke. The amount of money in football is good enough that he should have enough to retire by now and that is why I doubt that it is about finances.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 15, 2022, 11:55:01 PM
I do not think that Lewa could score 16 more goals in 12 more games at his age. Not that it is impossible for him but between UCL and having some rest days, even missing one game could be very crucial on that situation. Not saying that he wouldn't be able to, but it would be very difficult. He needs to relax as well, playing both UCL and then the league games would be very tiring and it would increase the injury risk which the team would probably now allow.

Considering he may play like 10 or so games, that is 1.6 goals per game and that is not impossible for someone like Lewa but it is quite difficult and unlikely. If it was like 1 goal per game average required, then I would definitely see it happening.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 15, 2022, 11:20:58 PM
The whole 8 point thingy is a bit sad to be honest. Not the system itself but dropping it to 8 cars, 10 was good enough, to be fair I would love it if everyone got a point. I would have turned that into 20 point thing where the first would get 20 and last would get 1. This way we would see everyone getting at least some points. It is more about how teams that are usually outside of the top 10 are jumped together. Like aston martin, williams, alfa romeo and haas all got nearly nothing at all.

I mean sure aston has 77 and people do not see them same as haas, but it is still usually nothing and they are usually getting zero, aside from few races. That way it would have been everyone getting some money and it would have been quite profitable for most teams as well, everyone would actually get some points based on where they are outside of 10 and not lumped all together. Dropping it instead of increasing it makes no sense but they probably know what they are doing better than I do.
1765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where comes and how exchanges gets the bitcoins that I buy? on: February 15, 2022, 06:35:30 PM
The basic concept of an exchange is to bring together people who wants to sell and buy cryptocurrency. You can take a decentralized exchange as an example: when you create an account on a decentralized exchange and you want to sell your Bitcoin, the exchange pairs you with another trader who wants to buy Bitcoin, and that is how the exchange happens. So, while you are looking to sell your bitcoins, there are also so many other people out there who wants to buy it from you.

Then as for centralized exchanges such as coinbase.com and binance.com as you have mentioned, what these exchanges do is also the same thing, but what makes it different now is that these exchanges are centralized and they try to make it safe for traders by handling these transactions themselves. Which means that your sell goes to the exchange itself and not like the decentralized exchanges where it goes directly to the buyer, so this way it is much safer. I believe that answers your question.
1766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 14, 2022, 11:40:56 PM
The demand and hype for the next rollbot sale seems to be same or you can say more than the previous one as gambling community have already seen so much big rewards worth millions distributed to the current holder's so they all don't want to miss the chance and maybe this time also presale goes hand to hand.
This one all dependent on the previous one. Since people made some sort of profit from the last one, then people would obviously be more interested in this one for sure. When the next one happens people will buy based on the first ones results as you said. If it was a bad one then I would understand it not being good enough and that would hurt the system. Long story short there is a good amount of profit to be made to many people, or at least that is how they see it because the previous one made that type of profit and people assume that it could be done again.

I am not sure if that will be the case but people are definitely excited about it based on the previous result for sure, that is guaranteed.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: February 14, 2022, 11:59:52 AM
Honestly Galatasaray doesn't seem to be getting any better even with the coaching change. Now there are talks about Fatih Terim getting an office and working on becoming the next president of the club as well. Considering he took over a team that got him a championship and left a team that is on the verge of going down, I have to say that him becoming the club president could be one of the worst things that could happen for the club.

I am not saying that the current manager is good or anything like that, even the whole coaching staff is not enough. All the players who are training at Galatasaray always end up getting worse in conditioning and that is ab ig problem. If they keep this up, I do not see them getting any better next season or season after that, they need a big overhaul change.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 14, 2022, 11:15:26 AM
Inter really dropped the ball on the last two games. They were leading the league very easily but then they started to lose point sand now they are at a level where they could lose it at any time. I do not really understand why they became suddenly not so great, surely playing Milan and Napoli did not help at all and it is understandable but if you are aiming to be champions then you would have to play a lot better against the big clubs as well.

You can't just beat midtable and relegation zone teams to become the champion, that won't be enough. Milan has a game against Napoli soon enough, the best bet for Inter would be hoping they would get a tie or at least lose the game, otherwise if Milan wins that too, then it is going to be very hard for Inter.
1769  Economy / Economics / Re: US national debt exceeds $30 trillion on: February 13, 2022, 03:19:03 AM
The thing I find problematic though is that if this continues (and I think it will and at even larger scales due to increasing problems) the cash back and inflation may not be that much of a help. And as time goes, resources gets scarcer. Just thinking about the future of this world frightens me and makes me pity not only the future generations of the US but also the entire world.

On a side note though, even if the leaders today or on the upcoming administrations want to change how it leads and break this debt cycle, it's probably already too late. And even if we don't cancel out it's possibility, it certainly won't be that easy considering that the people has gotten used to such benefits. I may be wrongly assuming here but the thought of it happening is frightening. Even when I am not from the US itself because if US sinks, the world will change and that is another uncertainty that I'd rather not find out the results.
They are not using the money as you assumed they are, you know that right? If you look at USA, they have citizens increasingly having more debt, they have people getting poorer by purchasing power, they have medical bills that many other nations do not have, and they are also in big financial trouble with national debt mainly taken from them.

I mean, it is clear to me that USA debt is not a good one, sure it is good to increase your debt if you are building something that is beneficial for you, but they were lately talking about infrastructure bill in north of 2+ trillion dollars to fix things, and that tells you how screwed they are if after 30+ trillions they yet to even start that.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 12, 2022, 07:02:23 PM
Aston Martin car could be "different" but it is also so bulky, I mean that looks like a crazy big difference in the mid section there and it will most definitely make them very bad.

I also would like to remind everyone that Haas used to be a decent team, not a great one but a decent team with wins and all and then for the past 2-3 years they just said they will not spend a dime on their current cars improvement (the old one now of course) and that is why they sucked so bad and spent all of that money into this years car.

I feel like this will make them consistently good. Anyone who doubts them probably never watched them before they started to suck. Doesn't mean they will start being first, but I do not expect them to be clearly last every single race anymore.
1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: February 12, 2022, 04:42:22 PM
I would guess that before 2023 comes, I can see 100k happening for sure. The reality is that crypto is not something that you should focus on solely, do not look at it like it is one linear thing. We are not going to just go up in a steady manner and we are going to have a lot of ups and downs.

This is one of the proofs that crypto is not going linear right now. Sure there are situations where it just goes up for a long time or goes down, but then it switches and does the opposite. We had a great 68k+ period in October, then had a bear run, and now time for a big bull run to happen as well. No idea when but I can sense it is not too distant.
1772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 12, 2022, 12:09:24 PM
Doesnt really need to be that in detail because you could already picture out on how it would really be looks like or in say with general on which people would tend out to quit when they do experience unfortunate events
which it isnt surprising.

We do quit when we are really experiencing those problems without even thinking that we should really study and learn from those mistakes. You do make out easy conclusions behind.
Lets really realize that this market isnt something simple that you could deal with.
Yeah, that is 100% true. Unfortunately many people I have talked to that quit crypto world all kept calling it a scam to steal your money. That shows how they do not even understand the market. I mean sure if you wagered on a shitcoin and then got rug pulled then I would understand but these people called it after bitcoin went down.

So, it is clear that there are too many people who do not understand much about crypto and assume the worst. We need to educate people a lot more to stick around and learn more before they quit, even if they do not keep on investing.
1773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: February 12, 2022, 09:39:14 AM
Some people doesnt really mind off on bumping old threads without even tending to look at on the time on which this thread wasnt active. So its simply necrobumping which it isnt really that suggested to be done at all.

When it comes to trading then there's no such thing about being expert or someone could assure about precise predictions or assumptions thats why its better to make your own trading analysis

rather than on being relying into these stuffs or whatsoever because it isnt really just possible for someone to have that accurate predictions.
I have seen great necrobumping and I have seen totally irrelevant ones. I wouldn't say it is totally bad, it just needs to be relevant. Like "I guess in 2021 we may see 60k+" when we never saw even above 1k back in 2013 could be necrobumped and the OP that wrote that could say "I told you guys so" and that would be awesome. But this one doesn't make sense.

I would say there are experts for sure, not like clear cut  profit by them that makes everyone rich type of deal, but I can name like 100 people who are better traders than me, I am not an amazing trader and I would never call myself amazing at anything, but there are people who do it better than I do. Would that make them experts? No, but it would make me trust them with my money if I knew them enough, like a friend for example and not some twitter influencer.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 11, 2022, 10:05:25 PM
It is cool to finally see superhero type of movies getting some acclamation in the disguise of production design and all that but we have to realize that this s basically not a "best movie" category anymore, it is just "which one had a better message with better acting" and that's it.

The day we didn't see End Game on Oscars best movie list, was the day I stopped caring about it as well. Can you imagine? I mean a whole series of movies that started in 2008 with Iron Man and lets say the infinity saga ended with End game (it had far from home) that would be around 25 billion dollars total box office.

I do not care if you like them or not, but if you do not nominate the movie that is the biggest grossing movie ever in existence (avatar reruns made it go back to one) then I am sorry but you are actually not fair and Oscars are a fake sham organization for me.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 11, 2022, 08:42:31 PM
I do not remember any season where Spurs made this many trades. Eubanks and White are gone and we did not get anyone that is worthwhile, maybe Dragic but since we have an all-star at the guard position now, I do not know why we even needed him. It was mainly for the first round picks, we have 3 first round picks this season which could be packaged and be given to a team, hell even more for next season and also second round picks as well, so if you could package like 4-5 picks together and offer that to Magic, they "may" take it, or if not then we could trade for a bit lower.

One of the picks estimated to be 7th, so that is really good, and other two is still first rounders, so I am guessing we could get higher. In that case "maybe" it will make a sense if we could pick a great player but that is all we can assume right now, it is not tangible yet.
1776  Economy / Economics / Re: How will Bitcoin behave in the approaching crisis? on: February 11, 2022, 05:34:44 PM
Anyone who said that we will be going up during the crisis must be very new in the crypto world. We always go down with the world before we start to go up. Look at the march 2020 just recently, because of pandemic the price of oil, gold, stocks and even fiat value all dropped like crazy and crypto went down with them. Look at it after a year when stock market went high and you could see how it was crypto peak as well.

All those Elon Musk at 300+ billion days were bitcoins peak times as well. So, I would have to say that it is not really too different, there are of course periods where they act differently but that is not all the time, it is only rarely that it works together.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 11, 2022, 11:03:35 AM
I think such a law was set by those who don’t like cryptocurrency. And it’s quite possible that they have done this as a way to discourage people from investing in cryptocurrency. But their plans are not really going to work because this would only make a lot of people to leave centralized exchanges and start moving to decentralized ones.

The tax amount is quite big and shouldn’t be what people are expected to pay for investing in cryptocurrency. It’s quite clear that anyone who have set such a law is someone who doesn’t like crypto currency, because I don’t see why anyone would be expected to pay as much as 30% tax For profits that are made through cryptocurrency.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 10, 2022, 08:30:20 PM
Look I can get West Side Story being the last, even though the play was wonderful and amazing, and movie could have been great if done properly, but it wasn't great at all. Belfast is basically the proof that Oscars care about the movie as much as the message it is sending out as well. It has become too political and I am saying this as someone who is progressive as well.

I mean we get it, there have been wrong things in history, are we going to just shoot one each year and give that an Oscar? Is that how it is going to be? Movies that are original will not get credit? Don't Look Up has stirred the pot a lot this year and that is political as well, and the odds are very weird. Like what the hell is 4.00 odds for a movie? That's as sure as it gets, that's terrible, it is not even close to make you want to guess.
1779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: February 10, 2022, 05:40:44 PM
Honestly all exchanges are a bit wild when I start using them. We have like 6-7 local exchanges in my country, most of which work between banks and crypto so that you could turn your fiat into crypto or vice versa. I have used 3 to 4 so far (I used 3, but the fourth one was just a few time deal and not a long term deal), and all of them had problems.

Basically they just kept the money in their accounts longer than I liked, that was always the issue. When you withdraw money then it should be in your bank account at most in 1 hour, it is just a bank wire, how long could it take, it is a very local one as well anyway.

However, one of them took literally 12 days, 12! and not like they were keeping it as a punishment for not following rules or something, they just said they had a problem with the bank and that's it. It could be true but why would I use a place with a bank problem?
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 10, 2022, 05:10:49 AM
You are right, this is kinda usual for us. So what is now? We have -2-4% from yesterdays highest price. Soon people would wake up, check cmc, coingecko or any other tracker on their mobile phones and will rush to forum, to create hold-bear-buy deep-sell-make predictions-post graphs-try to act as an analytic posts. But the fact is, the rocket isnt flying anywhere close to moon, it just flies parallel land Smiley

And we are back up again,,, so everything is out again. Yes not yet at above 45k yesterday but still looks like a strong move up. This is the expected test of 45k getting ready and we should expect a few more tests,,, each fail could bring us back to danger zone below 40000 but I think we need a couple of weeks more to see who is more "ready" to commit.

Not rocket, just liftoff. Not yet leave atmosphere Smiley
Other coins are up as well, and some of them are much higher than bitcoin too in this spike (not price, just % amount they went up). If this keeps up, we are going to have a bull season for sure. When people start to make a lot of money from crypto, they put more money in and there is a very good period where everyone just throws money at everything and things go wild. I do not know if that will be the case here as well but I know that it will certainly look great for a while longer.

The trick in the market is that when things are looking fine and everyone is happy with what they have, it is very rare that you could make "all" of them shocked, because there needs to be at least someone profiting from market movements changing, if you find that, you find when.
