I mean the choice to install a GNU/Linux OS is a decision that is made in the mind and not 'lucky', it is a considered and calculated choice. Buying a PC/laptop and using whatever OS came with it (which usually happens to be a version of windows) is down to 'luck'. So most people are using windows which is due to luck, but those running a GNU/Linux distro is down to skill in picking an OS. Ah, ok I see. Guess I've got skills then  . |

I believe in BTC, and I like to advertise it  Asking for tips/donations is still asking for money, but it's better than just begging. My bitcoin related new year's resolution: I only bet in bitcoin. Every day, chatting face to face, someone says, "I bet..." So when they say that, I say, "I only bet in bitcoin." Someone will ask you what it is, and then you get to explain. further, if they truly want to bet with you, they have to set up a wallet  I have 3 bets going, one with my bitcoin resistant partner. Yes I've looked at wheretomine. But the figures haven't changed in over a week, even though it claims to update every 5 minutes. Also, I emailed their support twice and got no response at all.

Can someone detail me how one would even access a wallet that has 2FA + Double Encryption?
Here is the scenario
Blockchain Main Password = 30+ Characters long, Lower/Upper Case, with Special characters
- Has 2-FA with a Cell Phone
- Has Double Encryption for spending which is = 40+ Characters long, Lower/Upper Case, with Special characters (Even longer than accessing than the wallet itself)
- Lastly, the E-mail Address associated with the wallet has a different password and is also 30+ characters long.
Trying to figure out how they would be able to access that wallet. Even if they get access to the e-mail associated with the wallet at Blockchain.info, there is nothing on there.
I understand that a paper wallet is still the best and most secure wallet, but just want to see other opinions on how secure this looks based on 3 different passwords with 30+ characters.
My plan is to also diversify. Say no more than 2 BTC per wallet. Also, half stored as cold paper wallets in a safe at home or at a bank or both actually.
Thoughts?

Also wanted to add as a security measure, all Forums and other Bank Accounts/Video Game Accounts etc. will be 30+ characters long with upper/lower and special characters (or whatever the maximum password length is) as added security. All different for each account.
Sounds about as secure as you're gonna get for an online wallet. This is exactly what I use for my blockchain account, except my passwords are shorter. Not sure if your passwords need to be that long, but I guess it doesn't hurt. Just make sure you don't forget them. |

This is just a freebie; try before you buy . well I never started any threads asking for tips or donations. I really hate that. It is like begging just because you found some interests in BTC. However, there has been some guys that tip me and that is just fine. I did not save the tips but rather spent them and created a small as showing what I bought So it is up to you you have more tact than speaker.. she just goes around straight up asking for btc. He's losing credibility as an economist if he keeps chatting shit though. I guess he doesn't care, but still... well his fans don't care.. as long as he says what they want him to. that's how extremism works. that's imo how the media works; you don't need to say something substantial or true (though he does say some things that i agree with), you just need to catch the attention of people. What about his "fans" before he started hyping up Bitcoin? He's not or wasn't just an unofficial Bitcoin spokesperson until fairly recently, but an economist first and foremost. He'll probably fuck up his mainstream credibility if he keeps spreading FUD and hanging out with Alex Jones etc. that's okay, he can make new extremist fans.. and if not, he'll just be a controversial character. either way, there he has plenty of willing eyes and ears. at this point, though, he's probably made at least $10 million.. that's not including the amount he has probably pumped and dumped, and re-bought.
