181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unstable prices of cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2023, 11:42:55 PM
Do remember that it is only the price that is changing in the market, but the amount of bitcoins you have
won't change. So let's say, you have 0.5 btc, after several months, you still have your 0.5 btc in your wallet.
I understand you bought btc hoping that it will continuously increase but it is not the reality, as we have roller coaster ride in any market
not only the btc market. But the hope of most btc holders is that one day, they will unload their stash at a much higher price,
definitely, higher than their buying price. So don't panic as it is not the end of btc, you are just experiencing the up and down movement.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 11, 2023, 11:15:47 PM
Every Decentralized Wallet dApp provides option to browse from there you can connect the wallet to any web3 site and transact there with full privacy you can use Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet, Metamusk and any other Decentralized Wallet. So far gambling platforms are mostly run on centralized platforms. so you will rarely see web3 casino sites in the market. Because of this no matter which wallet you use you must create one now on their casino site and perform KYC as required. So in this case no wallet can make you anonymous

There are decentralized gambling platforms as well that does not require for KYC, i think they can be the best to be used in achieving something about privacy or being anonymous in using a gambling platform, just that most gamblers were too used to the KYC casinos, i don't think if casinos wallet in general terms were all not anonymous wallets that we can use for our privacy or we should go far away from them.

But these decentralized gambling platform does not have a license to operate making our funds somehow more risk of losing, or the gambling platform running away with our funds or not allowing anyone to withdraw.

Enjoying privacy by playing on an unregistered platform or decentralized platform that is not "operating legally" may give us more trouble.  So better be careful when choosing to play in unregistered decentralized gambling platform.  Who knows when they will turn rogue and run with our money?

Anyway, whether the casino is known or anonymous, self exclusion can be done by anyone by simply quitting gambling and avoiding them for a certain period of time.  There is no need to lock our fund, it is more on self-discipline and control.

If you will avail such service, you really have to consider the reputation of the decentralized platform.
Because those staking days, they got a hold of your tokens/funds, so you can't do anything if something goes wrong in their site.
Some licensed casinos though are offering such feature, but if you are very determined with this move, you can already implement it on yourself.
183  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💎 Cryptolottery.BET 💎 A winner every 5 minutes [lotteries/keno] on: December 11, 2023, 09:55:41 PM
I have try to withdraw on this site 8 days ago and today i did my 2nd withdraw but i did not received any of the withdraws sofar. After u click on withdraw there comes a message "server error" and the Balance which u have try to withdraw disapear but u getting nothing

By any chance, do you have snapshots of your previous balance on the site?
Because you can create a scam accusation thread if you have valid proofs of your claim.
If not, start from now on, you need to document your deposits and balances before withdrawal.
Your deposit transactions on the site. Because for sure, they have history as well also that you can have screenshot of.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 11, 2023, 08:58:00 PM
I have to say that you are a better and more organized gambler than I am. I am having a thought now to start doing this. I do the normal thing like watching my bankroll and not playing for more than the allocated time. However, there are days when I get carried away and go out of the plan I have. And it happens when there is a distraction from within the home or out side. Therefore wrapping up because a fight between my will and my gambling self.

I think that's normal that in some instances, you will forget what you've set for yourself.
But as long as you stop and contemplate what's going on and re-assess your situation,
you won't go deep and so you may possibly prevent some financial troubles on the way.
On my part, I usually wrap up my games when I am already maximizing my budget.
Which means, I am already reaching my critical limit. And so, I need to pause and stop already.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: December 10, 2023, 10:56:24 AM
I ignorantly (not an excuse for my loss) invested in one Altcoin, I did put in a lot of my hard earned money into that project hoping it will give me huge returns but I was very late to enter into the market, it gave some persons good profits at the very beginning but my luck could not shine as I nvr made any profit from them and all my money was loss, the team rugged the project. It is quite a long time where else I never had any idea about this forum if at all I have been here by then and gained the knowledge I have now then I would have understood and be extremely careful from having the kind of wrong investment experience. What saved me from the crash was that I did invest what I was able to loss and it never in any way affect my cost of living but we feel the pain even if we lost little money.

You are not alone on this experience. In my early days here, I also did invest in some ICO projects.
But most ICO projects didn't live up to their investors' expectations, definitely, a lot lost their funds.
Though some also  got lucky to get good profits. But most of them have had very short lifespan as most devs ran away after they pocketed some.
This is why I got my lesson also in investing alts. For now, I just stick to BTC, ETH and BNB as I can't keep up with the new hype.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: December 10, 2023, 10:14:22 AM
.
Are meme coin worth buying in the long term?
What is your reason for buying meme coin?
The answer is 100% absolutely not worth it. People compare meme coins to the success of SHIBA and DOGE but they don't know that the chances are very small. There are thousands of meme coin projects today and there is still nothing like SHIBA and DOGE. Yesterday PEPE was said to be the next SHIBA but now look where they are now?

Shiba just got lucky with their market performance. But if you look at how they started here, it seemed that they were just a crappy project.
They didn't have proper ANN and they didn't even visit their thread. So don't let your hopes up on this one as well.
Maybe I can count on doge, because it has been widely used even before it was hyped up by Elon.
Though the fees are getting expensive also as compared before. But its existence is the one of the longest among meme coins/tokens.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I did it (I am happy to join). on: December 10, 2023, 09:19:10 AM
Congratulations on the purchase, I do hope that you're one of those people are going to commit to what they're planning to do because if you're planning to hodl, it's going to be up to you if it's a rough ride or a smooth ride because there will be times in the market that the price you're seeing isn't favorable and you feel like you're panicking and you want to get out to cut your losses, that's one of the times that's going to decide if you're choosing what ride in your bitcoin journey you're going to be in. I do hope that you go for the smooth ride because that's literally the easiest way, just buy bitcoin and hodl and forget about it, if there's a FUD, don't think about it.

If your belief here is not that strong, you can easily be disappointed if the market is not as what you expect.
But since the OP already bought some, he will be more attentive with the market as well as this community in general.
Panic wont do any good if in case he will see the price going down a lil bit from his buying price.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: December 10, 2023, 04:57:25 AM
Do owners of betting companies place bet on their own platform or is there a policy specific policy that restricts them from betting. Do you think that there would be conflict of interest or that it will be unethical if owners bet on their own platforms. These are the questions that I am seeking an answer to.
I don't know for sure whether gambling owners do gambling too, but I'm sure they definitely do that too, it's impossible for you to set up a business that you don't know how to play. I still remember there was a film, which told the story of a skilled card player who founded a casino, he founded it because he saw the profits he could get, but every now and then he still gambled and his favorite game was poker, even if you weren't good at gambling, you would there are times when you want to gamble just to relieve fatigue and so on, gambling is an activity that many people cannot refuse, especially those who set up a gambling business.
Setting up a business is an endeavor that takes a massive amount of time and effort, so it makes sense that casino owners are passionate about gambling not only as a way to make money, but it is also possible that gambling itself is one of their hobbies.

Otherwise it will be difficult for them to put themselves on the position of their clients, and figure out what they expect out of a casino and where they can find some areas in which they could improve their service.

I believe one way or another, these casino owners have been part of any related gambling activities prior to owning one.
Would be hard for them to understand this business if they have no prior familiarization to this business.
They may not be betting anymore to their casino, but for sure, they have very good idea of what's going on with their casino.
This information is hard to know as we don't know the identities of the owners as well as they won't disclose their gambling activities in public.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: December 09, 2023, 11:57:28 PM
Working for ourselves makes us more productive than working under a boss. In simple based on how hard we work will be the betterment of our life. With a day job we just do what is being assigned and we get the regular pay. This is low riskier compared to the risky way of having our own job. Another thing we need to manage different departments, which makes us to know more about the respective product/service than just a small part of the service.
If you have skills and have high creativity, then working alone will be better, but if you don't have that, it will be difficult to get money. As a first step, it's a good idea to work for a company so you can collect capital, increase your experience, and make as many friends as you want. You can then start your business when you already have your own skills, because when you immediately open your own business, you will need capital, and of course, experience will be an important teacher for success in the business being developed.

Most newcomers in the workforce would find it hard to create his own job, thus looking for a job make come easy.
As you acquire skills, experience and knowledge, you will find out that you will feel you are ready to be a freelancer or create your own business.
However, some are just contented being employed in a stable company receiving their regular monthly paycheck.
Their aim usually is to have a good retirement savings as well as benefits they can receive after retirement.
190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bank stops all my payments to exchanges. Now what? on: December 09, 2023, 11:12:41 PM
Try other EU exchanges like kanga or bitpanda and maybe your bank won't block your transfers.
If it does, try to contact the bank and authorize these transfers. Ask why they money was blocked and say that you aren't being scammed but simply want to invest in the crypto space.
If all fails, change the bank and try to set up an account outside of Belgium.

I know that it's a problem in your country, since despite Eu regulations for crypto, it remains unregulated in Belgium. They seem to be a bit lazy when it comes to bitcoin, like they're afraid to touch it because it might infect them with libertarian opinions or something.

If he will try other banks, better deposit small amount first and do his transaction, see if it will go thru.
Otherwise, try looking for reputable p2p in his area. For sure there are services of that kind that he can find.
Also, don't know the reason why the OP's bank is blocking his binance transactions but crypto is still unregulated in his country.
So I have the feeling that this move depends on the bank itself. It is not overall protocol of the banks in his area.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wojak - Meme Coin on: December 09, 2023, 10:38:03 PM
Making money with memecoin only if you have privileged information from whale pump and dump groups, other than that it's like playing the lottery, it may or may not work, but the greater probability is that it won't work.

Your information is a new angle for me to look at memecoins, all you need do is know the factors that drives each one. In this case as you've said it is privileged information from whale pump and dump groups, although how to get this information still beats me.

For this Wojak memecoin, in question, I'd say if it lives to see bitcoin, ATH, then hopefully the bull run will rub off on it with new investors, and it'll revive again and be profitable.

Looking at the chart of this meme token, it is currently pumped up, hence, the interest.
However, traders should be very attentive to this market if they happen to buy some.
Most meme tokens are driven by pump and dump scheme, so I would say, they are in the pumping period.
High likely that couple of weeks or so, you will see a decline on its price. Let's see.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Xrp still worth to break its previous 3.4$ ATH? on: December 09, 2023, 10:07:22 PM
So what do you think? Xrp is still looks good , 60 cent per each. Is it possible to break previous record of 3.4$ this time and will become able to make a new victory?
Since the SEC news, we have not heard much from Xrp. There are no paths, updates, technical development or anything. Therefore, other than the large market capacity due to the large quantity offered, there is no compelling reason to use Xrp, and therefore the price will not rise, or at least if it does rise, there are other options that will rise significantly larger.

One reason is to be utilized it as one of the payment methods as btc right now is having high transaction fees.
However, it depends on how active is the team in promoting this alt into this purpose.
If the team will not be visible with their plans and all, it won't rise up on its own.
But if you are on the side of investment, I guess, this one is much better over most meme projects.
At least with xrp, you know it won't easily disappear from the market, it would take time before it will lose its value.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy on: December 09, 2023, 07:03:37 PM
If let's say I had $500 in additional spare funds to spare, I would continue to invest in buying ETH. The price of ETH is still quite cheap to buy because it is still approximately 50% lower than its ATH, for until the bullrun starts after halving will be at least x5. It may still be modest, but I believe it is easy to set this goal with ETH.

Though I can agree with you about investing on ETH, but the buyer should make sure that he will keep up with what's happening to ETH network.
The amount which is 500 is not so big, this is the reason why some are suggesting to take a look at alts and not btc.
However, if you have no time to regularly monitor the market, it is better to hold it in btc instead.
But at the end of the day, you will be the one who will finally decide on which coins or projects you want to allocate this spare funds.
As long as you are familiar with the project and at least have solid ground of its existence, you may have the chance to earn something.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing Out BTC in Exchanges Questions on: December 09, 2023, 06:25:20 PM
I'm curious about this.  For the people who are long term holders of btc and they either never sold any btc to coinbase to convert to fiat and just holding it until btc hits their price target, do people like that not cash out big amounts at once when they are ready to sell?  Imagine someone who is a long term holder of btc and they either never sold any btc to fiat or sold only a tiny amount and then transferred it to their US bank account.

Bitcoin holders or whales to say are very smart enough not to use the exchanges for their holdings, they are not the kind that will needed to make use of an exchange to sell little bit by bit for their sustainability, they are Investing for real with huge sum of money that can be used for an established enterprise and invest, this their asset can only be moved from one wallet to another, they can also decided to sell some oart of it if not all at the same time to avoid being suspected for money laundering when such amount bounce into their account, they pretty know the kind of bank account they use, how they exchange their asset as well as where they store them.

This first aspect of the questions is good enough in explaining your intended questions as a summary than the other side of the long story.

I can agree that these large bitcoin holders won't put themselves in a compromised situation.
If they have been here for so long along with their stash, definitely, they know the possible repercussions if they will sell their large amount of coins.
So they would only unload small amount and maybe, spread it in various trading platforms, they can even employ other family members so the KYC is not entirely provided by the holder.
195  Other / Archival / Re: BTCWILD.NET CASINO | 70% OF PROFITS TO CHARITY | NO KYC on: December 09, 2023, 05:43:12 PM
Hello, thank you for your reply. We will send the first screenshot of the donation in 3 days, and from then every 24 hours we will reply with a screenshot under this thread.

The mission is great, but do you already have profits or revenue why you can already give donation to charity?
You are just starting on this business, so for me, it is understandable that you will take time to accomplish this part.
Also, I noticed, when you create an account - the link is not working if you click to see the Terms of Service as you need to agree this part.
And just wondering the high allotment to charity. I don't think that's a sustainable approach, unless, you will soon screw gamblers. Just saying.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First winning can be a trap on: December 09, 2023, 04:41:53 PM
Yes most times it might be a trap but for me I will live immediately after winning from my first stake.
However, it really depends on the amount of money one win before he or she can live the casino hall or a gambling center, if the money the gambler won is times two of the money he came with, then the gambler should go with it, instead of to gamble and lose the ones he or she won and the other money with him or her.
Although, some gamblers say that they gamble for fun but I don't buy that (I just don't know why) but if those gamblers that gambled for fun won on their first stake they might try to gamble again because they went there to gamble for fun and they might also gamble all their money too, one thing that might make them to stop is only if they are tired or their money is finished.

I believe what you mean here is - "I will leave immediately...".
Sadly, most gamblers won't do such thing because they have high hopes of getting more.
But usually, they will end up losing all their bankroll, hence, the reason why the casino is the ultimate winner on this game.
Most gamblers are degens or have no control with themselves, so they keep on pushing up until there's no more left on their vaults.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Open Energy Market FIRST P2P ENERGY TRADING IS LIVE!!!! on: December 09, 2023, 08:10:29 AM
In all honesty, I am very much happy that this project is still alive after so many years.
Very rare that you can encounter old projects actually implementing their mission.
I remember this one ran their signature campaign in this forum and fortunately, they are still visible in the forum.
I really wish the project all the successes of their objectives here. And also, be useful to their actual users of the platform.
For now, may I know what countries are you operating at with your actual solar energy project?
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador national treasury experience boost after Bitcoin surge. on: December 08, 2023, 11:58:33 PM
Don't know about other countries, we can just wait for someone to say something about it. But it's good to see that El Salvador is finally in profit. They proved that they were right. I hope others will follow their lead.

I think you should also know that investing in Bitcoin has a lot of risk as well but they are willing to take that even though there is a hail storm of El Salvadorian going against what Bukele did or wanted to make here. So it takes time to mature, and with Bitcoin's 4 year cycle and we getting into the bull run, it's obvious that they are going to be profiting by this time.

But there's a long way to go, we are not yet in the "bull run" phase, this is just the start of it. As if the market wanted us to taste what it will really in 2024-2025 or for those who haven't experience it.

And with that, I think the government of Bukele will enjoy such profits in the next two years. It's up to them when to sell and what to do with the profit that they are getting. And hopefully they will put it in a positive way like infrastructure or healthcare or housing projects in El Salvador.

I am just wondering once Bukele's leadership is over, will the new set of officials continue his crypto-related programs?
Bukele's move is really a bold one but it seems they are getting the rewards of choosing this route.
And to think that some small countries are also following their steps, it means, there's something good happening about this initiative.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 08, 2023, 11:42:54 PM
The market won’t change just cause you don’t want to pay for fees. Work around it or perhaps even urge gambling sites to work on features that would allow you to save as much money as possible. I say in times like these, you draw the line between using bitcoin/crypto for investing and for gambling. Use other reputable fiat casinos for the meantime if you really don’t care for the high fees in the crypto industry right now. And keep your assets in crypto in one safe space. That way you won’t have to be charged for high fees, and you still got a foot in the gas to keep sure that you’re not leaving the bitcoin bull run train anytime soon.

Look for some reputable gambling sites which are charging dynamic fees.
And if they are charging static fees, check the amount and see where you can save some.
Or better yet, use cheaper alts to play and not use your btc for the mean time, if you are being too worried about it.
There are other alts that you won't feel getting ripped off. So it is actually your choice if you will stick to btc or other alts.
200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 08, 2023, 11:15:17 PM
Bitcoin has surged for 2.87% today and reached the highest level in 2023. Does this year has more surprises for us and we can break all time high of bitcoin ?
The surprise that has occurred is the price increase of up to $44K and Bitcoin is able to survive with an increase of several months in 2023 in a row.
2023 to reach the highest level is still impossible. Our hope is that Bitcoin to achieve the highest lever may be achieved by the end of 2024 or early 2025.

Increasing the price of Bitcoin in the last three months if I am not wrong in remembering it is so fun because more than half half of 2023 the market struggles to be like now.

Am not saying impossible here as we still have few weeks left for this year. Everything is possible in this market.
But if nothing else, whatever we have right now is creating positivity in this community.
Do remember, it has been more than a year that we have seen the $40k level, so this is already good news before this year ends.
As the halving is coming, I believe, there will be more positive news developing on its way.
