1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 30, 2023, 12:53:45 PM
4. The first fight sold out which gives huge income to the industry.

A rematch clause is legal, it's in the contract but I don't think it will have a condition that a fight has to be sold out in order to have a rematch. in the first place, they don't know the outcome of the first match in terms of revenue before that rematch clause in the contract is signed.

I agree the revenue has nothing to do with a rematch there is a rematch that is not considered a blockbuster and sometimes they become a co-main event or support the event, even if the match is dominated by a challenger the former champion can opt for a rematch if there is a rematch in the contract.
Whether one fighter was knocked out by the other fighter as long as the rematch is in the contract, and the other party triggers a rematch it should happen.

No need to worry about the revenue as before this fight was finalized, we already knew that Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia fights will be a sold-out fight. Who would not watch this fight, these two are champions and very popular now, they will miss half of their lives if they will not watch this. If there's a rematch clause, both fighters are required to fight as promoters could sue them if they will mess out with the contract.

As of now, bookies are favoring Davis to win this fight.
I have the feeling that Davis will indeed beat Garcia on this one.
If Garcia has proceeded his tune-up fight, he should have known his level of preparation.
But anyway, that's his stand so let us see if he has a good chance on Davis.
Both names are popular among the boxing fans so no wonder this is a sold-out event.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 29, 2023, 09:54:36 PM
If she's old enough which I believe she is, then nothing should stop her from going to jail, she's a criminal and should be treated as one, if it was her money or maybe her school fees she's lost through gambling, then I believe this wouldn't be a case at all, but gambling with public funds is way too extreme and one that must not be swept under the carpet, she should be made to serve as an example to those who might want to try the same thing in the future and hope to get away with it.
200,000 dollars is no small amount of money, and I can't imagine how many of the parents who went through hell to make sure they get this money to pay for their ward, this is an act that shouldnt be encouraged In our society.
I really feel sorry for the school and the students, this would probably be the worst graduation ceremony that school will have in their record, I hope they get through it..
Maybe she’s mature enough seeing how far she have got embezzling all those funds all for her selfish desires. That student must probably be facing gambling addiction and she can’t control anymore her actions and decisions that made this whole mess up. I felt sorry for all her colleagues that they went through all of this because of an irresponsible student. If she can’t be put in jail, then she should be given proper sanction that will leave her a very big lesson not to do the same mistake again.

Definitely, she needs a punishment here to learn from her mistakes.
But some people won't change if it is already embedded to their system.
However, a heavy penalty such as going to jail may give her some time to think about her life.
Addiction would really give you trouble if you are not using your own money, and can ruin other people's lives.
If the sentence will be light, she may just go on with her gambling habits.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: January 29, 2023, 09:39:50 PM
Have read topics of such before already and I'd say the same answer. Cryptocurrency will never replace fiat based institutions as well as fiat itself simply because not all people are into investments and governments on the other hand aren't all into price volatility even if it could be profitable. They won't sacrifice their image to something they won't be able to tax regarding daily transactions. What's more likely to happen is to both industries to co-exist and to be used by people if not on daily transactions but for other purposes such as engaging with online platforms and such. Even if more countries would adopt this technology in the future, there's a high tendency that same thing will happen; that there'll always be people to prefer fiat over crypto.

My take on this is, just be grateful that we have crypto market today where you can get financial services.
But yes, thinking of replacing the fiat banks. I don't think it will be happening in our lifetime.
Even most crypto users still need the services of fiat banks. And they are utilizing both markets to their advantage.
So nope, at this current scenario, I don't think crypto banks will replace the traditional banking system anytime soon.
There's too much at stake eliminating fiat/traditional banks. Even the government won't allow it.
1184  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺 wild.io 🎰 Wheel of Fortune 🎁 Daily Rewards 🔥 10 Minutes Cashouts on: January 29, 2023, 09:05:17 PM
Just explored the casino a bit especially about the promotions, tournament and loyalty program. It is good that you have all of these important things to compete with other casinos. However it is unfortunate because I see there is a wagering requirement for the prizes of your tournaments. 5x for cash prizes and 40x for free spins prize. Players are competing in the tournament by risking their own money but the prizes is locked with high wagering requirements. I dont think it is a good idea to have wagering requirement for such tournaments.
This is my first time on hearing it out on which competition prizes does have some wagering requirement before the winner would be able to completely out those amount which is bullshit.

Sorry to be harsh but it is really way too greedy for a casino platform to have these kind of terms on which its true that the players or gamblers had made out on using up their own money
just to hit up themselves on winning the competition and on the time they do win then they would be still facing up that wagering which is really just too much.
For sure this wont really be able to get that much recognition due to the greed that they are really that showing.

I can understand if it is coming from bonus, but yes, the casino should think about not putting wagering requirements for the tournaments.
This will discourage players to enter the tournament because of this requirement, that should not be there anymore.
Or if they don't want to remove the wagering requirements in free spins, at least lower down it to maybe 10x or whatever is fair to the players.
They will know fast if this kind of tournament and rewards will be attractive to players, they may alter the requirements if they won't get much players on these tournaments.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there gambling games/sports that suits a particular gender the more? on: January 29, 2023, 08:43:51 PM
I haven't thought of this ever since I started gambling, because the casino where I gamble is always having ladies customers that come along with their guys  or friends to gamble on various games in the casino, and you will see how excited they are when they win their bets.

I don't think that there is a special game designed for females, it is that most of them see slot as more fun to them and they do prefer it to the others. I know of a lady down here that plays black jack and wins sometimes but that is her most favourite game. Gambling is fun and fun is for everyone irrespective of your gender.

I also can't think of any gambling game that is more on the feminine side.
I believe most games are gender neutral, this is why anyone can play the games in a casino.
Even in sportsbetting, anyone is welcome to bet. Now, that we have online casinos and sportsbooks, you can't even tell the gender of players.
Maybe, the site has their records as you need to fill-up the reg form. But they won't discriminate you for being female, just play and you have nothing to worry about.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tom Brady's Gambling and HUGE loss. on: January 28, 2023, 09:47:40 PM
I agree that 70 million can't be the reason why they got a divorce, I mean it could be as in the sense that they could have a big fight because of it, but it wouldn't make them a poor couple, they could make that money back in a year if they work, they both have the names to make that a possibility. This is why I believe that it wouldn't be a financial reason.

Just because they are still rich, doesn't mean they wouldn't fight though, either for this reason or for another reason, anyone knows that couples fight and when they fight, the smallest thing could become huge and that could lead to divorce. In order to stay married, you need to want to stay married, and be willing to work on the issues, if you don't do that, any reason could be a divorce reason.

With their status in life, it is not the financial reason why they are getting a divorce.
Actually, I believe, with their kind of status, the last reason why they will separate is because of money.
It is more on piling up their emotional stress and pride to compromise with each other.
As Bundchen wanted Brady to retire from his sports, but Brady continued to do what he loves to do.
Depression among many other things, they got separated, a lucrative divorce for some people with names.
But of course, they are the ones who will know the real reason of divorce.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 09:23:27 PM
in the scenario you gave and as an individual, yeah, sure, you've beaten the casino, but at end of the day, the casino would still be in profit. also, I am pretty sure a lot of people have done this kind of "strategy" and the majority, if not all of them, are actually just a one-time gambler that got lucky.

I am more on having your luck. Because whatever strategy you will apply, at the end of the day, house always win.
But if you are a player who knows when to stop, you can go home as winner also.
And what the OP presented is for me, one way to beat the house. You stop once you got your winnings.
And use your winnings to improve your living. But remember, more gamblers will continue to play up until they lose it all, hence, why house always wins.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sportsbooks? (MMA and boxing) on: January 27, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
Anyone have any recommendations?

The best I have found is Chipstars, but again it converts to fiat to bet with.
I'd probably say stake, Roobet, and Rollbit since I personally did tried these casinos before and even these days but not regularly tbh. I haven't tried Chipstar before so just do your own research on that first. If I were you OP, try the reputed ones and weigh them if they are good or not because it's always a subjective thing even on choosing a casino or specifically a sportsbook.

OP is looking for a casino where when he deposits in bitcoin he can withdraw 1 bitcoin when he wants to withdraw, even if he wins and keeps 2 bitcoin and the price of bitcoin drops a lot OP could still withdraw 2 BTC, OP wants casino that does not convert crypto to fiat, I gave an example of the stake that they didn't convert to, I don't know if I'm not wrong, because when the person puts it to see the balance in FIAT, every time the price of the currency fluctuates, the person realizes that the balance is rising or falling

but when the balance is in cryptocurrency I see it and even when market prices go up or down the balance remains the same, I could be wrong about that
I think you're not wrong on that since Stake doesn't auto convert it onto fiat, they just have that "view in fiat" feature but if your balance is in crypto that will still be the same balance held on your account. Same goes for Roobet and Rollbit, I don't know what casinos are using that feature that turns crypto balance auto converts it to fiat, I haven't been on that casino though.

I remember betnomi has their auto-conversion to USD before but don't know now when they re-launch their site.
And that is true, you can view your deposit in fiat in stake, but whatever your deposit coin is, will still remain.
Most top bookies here are accepting crypto and allowing your withdrawal to whatever coin you have deposited on them.
Better stick to the bookies that he can found in the forum with active support, to avoid unresolved issues.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEX deserves all criticism but not the hate on: January 27, 2023, 09:18:05 PM
In as much as we have trusted centralized exchanges we should not get carried away with the trust slogans since cex is in the hands of the CEO and no matter what the level of regulations are centralized exchange is still not the best choice for storing your coins.
But exchanges have been a helpful connection point for various crypto traders and help in the area of adoption.

Centralized exchanges are here to offer various services to crypto users, which for me, I can appreciate their existence.
But certainly, we should not store our coins to these platforms but to your own wallet to ensure that you always have full control of your funds.
Even if the trading platform is reputable and top in this industry, we can never be sure what will happen next.
So better safeguard your funds rather than rely on third party wallets. You can't get out your funds fast if the platform encounter any problem.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 26, 2023, 09:52:27 PM
I keep renting a house for several years but I have no problem with that, I can still pay for the rent. But of course, to have my own house is the most thing I wanted to happen someday. But I've seen that having a house, for now, is very expensive and it really needs more money and it found hard to get it. Then I think that if I have money I use it to put up a business first instead of buying a house. Might become a stupid decision for others but this is what I see in some businessmen, they prioritize having additional sources of income before building their own house which I think was the best option.

You have good reasons to think about that. Some successful businessmen are still renting.
Now, it depends on your capability to handle a business. If you think you can, then, pursue such path.
Because some people are investing in real-estate, because they feel secure for their future.
But unfortunately, not all of us can afford the high prices in the market.
But I won't consider renting as waste of money, you can decently sleep with that rent.
1191  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 26, 2023, 09:40:48 PM
at least according to the votes with Zero comes to Bitcoin will make another ATH this 2023 means people here understand the market and not that too optimistic or desperate to expect such high though possibilities are always there but we must admit that we are far from that.
and I also believe that we are waiting for recovery as the Bear is already gone and the market will start showing good movement away from 2022.
Many are too optimistic and forget to predict a more realistic price, new ATH this year might not possible I think not unless Bitcoin made an exceptional pump and good news will come in the market. We should also consider the economic status of big countries which can affect the crypto market, there’s a big threat of recession and that could be one of the reason again for Bitcoin to stay in bear market. Bitcoin have to established a strong support to avoid another big drop for this year.

But we can never be sure as we are only in the first month of this year.
New ATH can hit anytime this year, but I do agree, we need to be realistic with the performance of the market.
If we will receive good news one after another, we will see positive trend but to what extent, hard to predict.
But maybe this year, will be better than last year. If big companies will provide positive news, the trust may return for some users.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 08:59:55 PM
Although I respect all points of view, because we are people who have a desire to think very differently, what I think is that things are harmful when they are in excess, any activity that is done in excess can harm or will bring a consequence, with the The same thing happens in the casino, it can be an activity that offers fun and options to earn money, but if a person takes it as something that they have to do most of their time, they will have negative results, because it is known that the house advantage is always It will be greater, if you know that things are moving in that direction, you can understand that most likely, the more you insist, the more likely you are to lose, you have to know how to play and that is what you must make others understand.

Definitely true, anything excess is detrimental. Just do it in moderation.
And it is the person himself that can contain himself, not the others.
So if the person wants himself not to go to the path of losing it all, better do a regular assessment of his situation.
Any activity can be addictive, it now depends on the person how he will live with it without influencing much his overall lifestyle.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shiba inu coin, now ranked 13th in cmc on: January 25, 2023, 09:46:55 PM
lately I always buy shiba inu coins in installments using the dca system and in my opinion shiba inu coins will have good potential in the future because looking at the rankings on cmc, what do you think about shiba inu coins, will they have the potential to increase in the future, or not? I want to hear an explanation from all of you?...
Regardless of its rank, I still see meme token as once of your risky investment so deal with caution.
There’s a potential for the price increase as we are near to the bull trend, and it can also be a pump and dump token again as the hype will continue to manipulate its price. SHIB will stay with the market though, and continue to do its purpose which is to pump and dump, be careful and know your timing with shib.

The ranking may be high today, but ask yourself if they can sustain their existence in this market?
What solid reasons do you think will keep this meme token afloat and not lose their popularity.
Most meme tokens can easily be abandon by their respective devs, and shib is no better than others, in my opinion.
Though you can invest on this token as it is your funds, but you need to look if there are long-term plans for this token.
1194  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 25, 2023, 09:13:49 PM
often come across threads like this and ask whether bitcoin will reach zero price or be worthless at all.
Do they expect bitcoin to be worthless or to be the end of bitcoin?
Let alone wishing for bitcoin to go to zero, Bitcoin under just $1k is currently still impossible. Bitcoin is a new technology that still needs development, but even so bitcoin has become a popular digital asset and has great value. that means bitcoin gets attention from all walks of life, both the pros and cons of bitcoin.
Instead of expecting bitcoin to fall to zero, it's better to start investing now, buy and hold bitcoin you will get the benefits.

I believe, they are more on like getting insights from crypto users.
As they are also investing in btc, they are checking the sentiments of the community.
I have the feeling that they just want to get assurance about investing on this market.
As of the moment, going down to zero is not anywhere in the horizon.
So they should feel confident about their holdings, worry if you can read any news anymore about btc or crypto.
1195  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Betincrypto.org 🚀 Crypto Bookies & Casino Reviews 🔥 on: January 25, 2023, 08:40:54 PM
I'm not recommending Mystake. Been there and they gave me hell. Took me months to get out my funds since they limited my withdrawals to 500$ per week even though it says 7000$ per week in their T&C.

Stay away if you are a serious player.

Hope everyone can read your feedback about this casino and the OP should consider your review on this site.
Though this site is not very common from this forum, but your statement may help others to avoid being screwed by this casino.
Anyway, betcrypto can roam around this board itself and they may add more casinos and bookies on their list.
This forum is actually a good start adding existing crypto gambling sites, at least read the thread to get insights on how these sites operate.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Online Casinos with Easy Verification on: January 24, 2023, 09:54:39 PM
Creating an account with an online casino can be incredibly arduous, especially when it comes to verifying. The latest wave of no verification casinos removes all the red tape and allows you to create accounts in seconds with just an email address and password.

You can check out one of such casinos here (withoutany KYC requirements): http://sportstatist.com/vave-review/
KYC is hassle but I think there are still gamblers who are willing to complete it as long as their withdrawals will get processed and it's up to them after that if they will still continue playing or not but for me ill will just continue since I can't get back my details anymore.

We can still worry less as long as we know that the casino is old and trusted. KYC only becomes hard for those sites who are still new because we never knew their true intentions yet if they are here and serious for doing a business or they are only here to steal money and users information. Another thing that is needed is like you said to have a lot of coin options but a casino having its own coin is also kinda unique so some users will like it.

Or as long as the casino is top and reputable one. Better have an assurance that you will get your withdrawal, rather than waiting for days just to get it.
What I have noticed here is that, reputable casinos or bookies in the forum have no problem when it comes to withdrawal even big ones.
So are you going to take a risk for a small casino that you think may hold your withdrawal for no reason?
But in any case, if you are utilizing your own casino token, should find more trading platforms so it won't be too difficult for your users to trade it with other currencies.
1197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much uncertanity here it got be more sure here what i say on: January 24, 2023, 09:24:51 PM
You can't tell people here what to do, since we have our own decisions to make, because we have our own lives, own problems, and different financial status in life. If you can't make profits on your own in this kind of market, that's your own problem to solve, not tell people to do what you want to help you in your current situation. Once you entered the blockchain, you are on your own journey, be mature to accept what's gonna happen and what already happened, learn from it.
Actually you sounds right because the journey of crypto sphere is diver's, so what give people the room to become successful in cryptocurrency is the ability of research continuity in the crypto industry. Actually what lands some people into negative impact of investment is lack of information and lack of understanding, and when some people venture into the negativities impact in cryptocurrency investment they will began to inculcate it to other people, in their thoughts or anyway they feel like. In conclusion, investment have plans and also have a strategies someone will apply before it will Excel.

We have our own choices when it comes to investments.
But if in any case, the OP did really buy btc when he posted this thread,
he is already earning profits if he will sell it today. So lucky for him if he followed what he was preaching.
And yes, when it comes to your own preferences, just follow what you think is best for your portfolio.
Anyone can suggest what you need to do, but at the end of the day, it is still your own choosing of path.
1198  Economy / Economics / Re: Common Currency for Brazil and Argentina: Africa Why? on: January 24, 2023, 08:45:33 PM
The economies of one, two or more countries can’t be strengthened by a common currency alone. For any economy to thrive, there must first be peace and stability. Without peace, there is no way any economy would grow.

There are countries in Africa that are going through internal wrangling and conflicts. Countries like that just can’t have a good and strong economy. Besides, just cause everyone’s doing it, doesn’t mean Africa should also adopt a currency.

Also, corruption which is EVERYWHERE, is prevalent in African politics. With that in mind, how would economic growth take place?

I believe that is one major problem in Africa, the rampant corruption happening in their politics.
So even if there are investors on their region, you can't expect them to improve their economy.
Let alone, think of their common currency as I believe, each government has their own take on this matter.
As mentioned above, Africa consists of about 54 countries. Now, how can those leaders agree into using only one currency?
They will have their own decisions and most probably, they will stick to the currency that they have been using.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 23, 2023, 09:32:32 PM
The fact that btc always ended up proving them wrong is the fun part of it. Crypto analyst will always try to do their job by predicting the direction of the market but in most cases, the market don't usually go as they have predicted.
I don't think there is anything wrong in that, rather it gives some investors an idea of the market situation.

Even long-timers in crypto or crypto experts can predict wrong in this market.
For those speculators, they should not leave words of assurance to their followers about their predictions.
As this market is a very volatile one, you can't really give an exact price prediction to your followers.
Let us say, you are using all kinds of indicators and applying all known TAs, still, you can be wrong with your prediction.
So a crypto expert or analyst should not bet their life over their predictions so as not to get shamed or slammed by their followers.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 23, 2023, 08:09:02 PM
I try to understand this case. also, to read the article the Op linked. in this case, it is clear on the site, Iris Amador Argueta has pleaded guilty before a judge to capitalist theft in the second degree. instead, Argueta is expected to be sentenced to 16-48 months in prison. also, returning almost more than half of the money that should have been obtained by the victim. So, this case has been resolved even though it didn't return completely.

She also lost much more by accepting the lump sum. She did not care how much it would be in installments because she wanted to close the deal ASAP and run with the money which costed the real winner at least a 100 thousand more.

These criminals are so dumb. Things like that don't go away. Sooner or later the cousin would see that they bought a new house or something and start being suspicious or someone would tell her that there was a big win and she said she won something at that time. You never steal from people close to you not only because it's savage but also because you're going to be seeing these people for many years and looking at them knowing you stole from them.

Just a clear example that greed doesn't choose the victim, whether it is your closed cousin in this case.
You can never really trust money even to close relatives or families, how much more with friends or just colleagues?
A big lesson here, if you want to remain your privacy, you can still claim the winnings but don't disclose your identity to the public.
Or post anything in public or social media. Lottery operators won't disclose the identity of their winners if they don't want to.
I am betting on the idea that Argueta will use the remaining money after her prison months are over, who knows where she stashed it?
