1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar Loses €1M in Casino in Just an Hour on: March 30, 2023, 09:33:27 PM
We actually don’t know if its a paid advertisement, since losing that much is very unusual especially if we know that he is not into gambling but upon reading this, he looks more addicted to gambling after losing that much. He earns a lot of money but if he will be more careless like this, he might experience bankruptcy. Though, the post is not to encourage everyone to gambling, his influence can still affect many people especially the young ones, he should be more careful on posting like this next time.

We don't know if that live stream was indeed a paid advertisement.
But in any case, this may give a different approach to some people.
Neymar is earning a lot of money, but people should not imitate his reaction as he can very well afford such loss even if it is his own money.
And yes, if he will continue to be in gambling, he may likely lose a lot, even his retirement funds as he is going big in casinos.
1002  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-mail from FTX with alleged scheduled claim information and client code on: March 30, 2023, 09:06:59 PM
before FTX crash and collapse I have fund there and today received the same email with you about schedule claim and information update with refund, I don't sure yet this confirmation is true or not and have possibility with scheme due not update yet from FTX official announcement.
Usually all exchange after facing scheme seem have little chance get back our money and depend with your believing or not about FTX email is not refund yet with your fund.

I am still hold and not interested yet click confirming about email sending from FTX, how ever seems not official email sending because I received with this email for confirming my fund and looks like scammer email like, here the email sender "ftx@noticing.ra.kroll.com"
Verification would not be an issue to ascertain the genuineness of the email you received which I believe should be in circulation now. I was thinking you should verify by writing an email to confirm and verify if the mail us authentic and coming from the official handle of the FTX  exchange so as to be on the safe side. These days scammers are very smart. What you would not expect would be the major means of attack from them as they have improvised and are technically inclined and waiting to unleash their  deadly act.

Everyone should check the validity of the email, and see the official announcement coming from the FTX team.
Based from the email sender's address, it seems that it comes from a scammer and not official email ad of FTX.
Check the official social media channel of FTX if they announce something regarding the claim of funds.
These scammers are likely phishing out registered email addresses from the FTX site.
1003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 29, 2023, 09:54:45 PM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
On the time that you do step your foot into this market, then be sure to make yourself that fully aware on whats the risks involved around. There's no way that trading and investment is something that

would so simple on which it would really be just so easy and simple for you to make profits or make income because this is really that a very wrong idea to have. When you are just starting then the piece

of advise is never make yourself that impulsive because if you do end up on this way then you would be basically be making yourself commit lots of errors and mistakes
on which making yourself that desperate would really be leading into that path.

I would suggest that better secure some of your funds in other tangible assets before you explore this volatile market.
Also, as anyone would advise, better use small funds when you are just starting to navigate the world of crypto.
You will always experience loss at some point as you are just speculating what will happen next on the coin you are dealing with.
So before you go big, much better if you have a lot of experiences that you've got under your sleeves to minimize possible losses.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 29, 2023, 09:25:17 PM
Is it possible to run a decentralized gambling platform? I know that all popular gambling platforms have no choice but to be transparent to the law to have a steady business running, but with the introduction of CBDC and yes a registered gambling platform has no choice but to accept CBDC too, and I don't trust this centralized currency, I believe CBDC will have the capability to monitor incoming and outgoing funds, so that is what makes me think if it's possible to run a decentralized gambling platform at all.

You should ask yourself one question. If you were an owner of a gambling business, would you want to create a decentralized gambling platform?
What would be the cost? Will it bring higher profits? I think that a decentralized gambling platform would be less profitable than a centralized online casino, that's why decentralized gambling isn't popular. The online casino owners simply don't want to bother with decentralization. They are pretty much OK with running centralized platforms.
Can a gambling business run unregulated? Or course it can, but it will have way less customers and sooner or later the authorities are doing to find out and penalize that business.
I don't know about the CBDC's future impact over the gambling industry. Let's wait and see what happens after CBDCs get implemented.
Well, it’s still possible to run a decentralized gambling platform but the problem is if it will be sustainable in the long run. Operators might be profiting at first only but later on, gamblers will start looking centralized casinos like what we mostly have today in the market, which means that could be a loss for decentralized casinos. The reason why most of the casinos today still prefer to be centralized than decentralized, because accept it or not, gamblers want to gamble more safely and secured, which I think decentralized casinos have less to offer when it comes to that.

Decentralized casinos means they don't have to ask KYC from their customers.
However, up until now, most gamblers prefer the centralized casinos with gambling license.
I believe, it is due to the fact that a lot of casinos can scam their players, and people are tired of it.
The dilemma also comes from the thought that when you connect your wallet to decentralized casino, you don't know if your wallet is safe or not.
Some issues stemmed from the fact that some players are losing money because of them, hence, people are advising not to use their main wallet when connecting to these decentralized casinos.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: March 28, 2023, 09:53:41 PM
Can you give me insight, do you think trading via ETH/BTC is more profitable than ETH/USD? Please give me an advice.
It depends on what your goal and the current price of BTC and USD/USDT.

If you want to secure your profits, you are better to choose USD/USDT because the value won't change significantly in the future. So, it is safer to keep or directly convert to your account banks. But if you want to sell your ETH for another investment attempt, you can choose BTC. For example, when ETH is rising and BTC is decreasing, you can choose ETH/BTC (selling ETH for BTC). But it rarely happens because commonly ETH price is following BTC price.

It is indeed subjective to the market performance of these currencies.
There's no concrete strategy on how you can trade these to optimize profits.
But if there's time that you don't want to trade and not worry about its fluctuating value, you can always convert it to USDT.
Also, do remember, the other alts are usually following the BTC performance in the market. You may consider such thought.
1006  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: March 27, 2023, 06:13:54 PM
Your idea of bringing in something different in the gambling industry from the convention casinos we all know and patronize isn't a bad idea at all as long as in practice it works according to your detailed explanation.
It one thing that comes into my mind while going through your thread is this, we know this is gambling and in am not mistaking, part of what brought about this initiative of yours is due to the amount of some sort of monthly money other online casinos or bets incur as part of their development, so I am curious to know just in case should a bet be placed at the first opening of this casino of yours and a win is made amounting to maybe a half a million  which is possible cause this is gambling, so in such case what is the assurance of such a winner getting the payment ASAP.

That's a very good point for anybody that tries to create a new casino with unique features. Before bringing something new to the gambling community it's important to meet the industry standards. Even the newest and coolest game won't bring success if the casino Website is not competitive compared to other big casinos. There are some basics like having an experienced customer support team, processing payments quickly and accepting a variety of crypto currencies, that without them it will be hard for any new casino to survive. The online casino boom in 2021 lead to a lot of competition which forced casinos to be more User friendly. In my opinion it's great to try something new and shake up the community, just the casino owners should focus first to make a good platform.

I do agree that before exploring to other interesting features, the casino itself should have their basics in place.
Competition is getting tough as more and more sites are getting introduced to this community.
Most newly-launched casinos even have their gambling license already, which means, they are here to compete seriously.
But to keep up with such competition, it is understandable that a casino will think outside the box and offer some unique features to their players.
However, they should not forget the basics, always resolve their player's issues, whether small or big concern, they can keep those players if they are satisfied with the services of the site.
1007  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: March 27, 2023, 05:39:31 PM
I just checked the profile of OP and it seems that the last post he made about this oncoming lounge was back in February 2th, so it has been over a month since we heard from OP.

I would have assumed we would look some advance or a beta version by now... in the meantime, other web 3.0 casinos have appeared around here, If I was OP I would try to be more appealing to his potential gamblers and show anything at this point; ideas recommendations and wishes of success mean nothing if there is no product to test.
The OP didn't mention if the gambling site that he will be releasing is a web 3.0 or not but if they have a Defi token then web 3.0 will be perfect. Web 3.0 casinos aren't really new so don't worry if there are others who came out first than the OP. Time of release doesn't really matter but what matters the most is if the casino is already fully finished and has less bugs or glitches because many casino owners here are just rushing and ended up forgetting some things on their casino.

It only gives a bad impression to the visitors. Ideas and others that you said there can still be relevant as the OP can still read this thread without logging into his account and he might be developing the casino in the background.

As the OP's last login here was already a month ago, it seems this project may be another abandoned one.
But in any case, if this will push thru, a pvp-type casino game usually has the difficulty to survive, either web 3.0 or not.
So high likely that this project is a shelved one. Or maybe, the team realized the bottlenecks they need to overcome on this project.
In this particular industry, if they are not financially prepared, they won't last. Also, you need to be tech savvy to keep up with the competition.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 26, 2023, 09:53:37 PM
If you look purely at the software, I don't think it's possible for a casino to steal or cheat you. Software is automatic, that is, if you take a casino with a considerable reputation of course. If you have a casino with cheap software then I dare not say that. But that is often not the problem with a casino. It is more about whether a casino will pay out to a player. I think you should be more concerned about that. But purely software technically a casino cannot scam you. And also the jackpot will always be paid, because the games supplier pays this and not the gambling site itself.

And also, if you start doubting the casino, maybe it is high time for you to move on to another reputable casino.
Because a top casino won't ruin their image as it is quite hard to establish your niche in this industry.
Once your site is exposed to cheating, that would be a very difficult thing for the casino to revive their credibility.
Either they can move on from this situation or would totally go bankrupt. So yes, go to a reputable one.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 26, 2023, 09:32:38 PM
Participation in trading communities and groups can be very beneficial for traders as it provides them with the opportunity to connect with other traders who understand their situation and can share their experience and knowledge. This can help reduce feelings of isolation and improve market understanding.
In addition, in trading communities and groups, you can exchange new strategies and ideas, get feedback on your own strategies, and analyze the market together with other traders. This can help a trader expand their horizons and improve the quality of their own decisions.

If it is free, that's more than fine as you can gain some insights with the trading strategies.
But if they will start charging you, then, think about their motive.
Joining a free trading group would be a good one for your trading journey.
But remember, you should filter what they are suggesting as it may not be applicable to your situation.
You can always read their opinions, insights but it doesn't mean, you need to follow each one of them.
1010  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 26, 2023, 09:02:02 PM
At this level, 1xbit is not considered to be a good casino for anyone to play on or you risk losing your deposits, and from the unset, since I came to this forum I have seen that this casino has been the only casino that has active unresolved cases against them, and the team can not do anything to rebranding the casino or better still build a good reputation even though there have hard a change of management so many times.
This op is one of such attempt to distract members and convince newbies into making the mistake of depositing on this site thinking they are now under a better management.
Actually the official 1xbit team account has responded on this thread that they have no new management change and the Op account has nothing to do with them, so the controversy is very confusing because they claim each for ownership of that casino site, but whatever efforts have been scenariod are not will succeed because the community of gamblers here is fed up with their cases, there is no way to improve their reputation except to pay off all the gamblers' losses and then we need to review will again.

Whether new or old management, the reputation of 1xbit here is already tainted.
I don't know how they can improve the reputation of this site, hard to resolve all those old cases also.
Most of them already gave up with their respective cases. Also, I don't think the new management, if there's any, that can rectify all those issues.
If you are a serious owner and want to make a name in the gambling industry, much better if you will start fresh, a new domain name and not with an old casino full of unresolved issues. That alone, would be a headache for the new team.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 26, 2023, 08:18:34 PM
So in just over 4 weeks, we will finally see Casimero again. It's good tune up fight for him, I think this is what they are aiming here right now, Casimero fighting no one, gain back his confidence and put a W in his column again.

I guess everyone is still waiting or the Inoue vs Fulton fight, and it's because it was postponed, Casimero choose an easy get busy fight against Nghitumbwa.

And most likely if he win this fight, he will have another fight late this year but this time, it could be some name fighters and it might be held in the US.

It is a tune up fight for Casimero, so hopefully, he would not mess this one again.
It may seem a walk in the park but if he won't prepare for this fight, and just take it for granted,
his opponent may see this as a challenge and sincerely prepare for this upcoming fight.
Even if his opponent has no name yet, it will be his motivation to beat Casimero even if Casimero is in his home turf.
The bookies may list this a week before the fight as there's no belt on the line, and seems a small time boxing event.
This may be a determining fight for Casimero where he is now in terms of how prepared he is to face with much bigger names in his weight division.
1012  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fellas be careful from this kind of scams! - READ on: March 26, 2023, 07:43:01 PM
Linking wallets is a mode of fraud that has been circulating a lot, but of course this is very valuable knowledge for beginners. I consider them to be standard scammers, as they show their usual mode of operation, linking wallets for example, which is what these scammers do.
Maybe I want to add here, if we are really curious, then we can use a new wallet to connect our wallet. Just as many have said, never connect our main wallet anywhere, especially if it is a site that is foreign to us. I think we are not just 1 or 2 people who lost money in the same way, so we must not fall into the same hole.

I believe this is applicable to all new casinos out there where you need to connect your wallet just to play on their site.
This is why some stick to casinos or bookies where you need to deposit your coins or tokens and not directly connect your wallet via their site.
The person involve with such scheme is a newbie. So more than likely, he can victimize new users also who are tempted with the possible winnings.
A lesson we always need to remember, don't connect your wallet to a suspicious, new and no reputation at all from the community.
For new casinos who are promoting to be a web3 platform, this is their challenge - how to earn credibility from the players as this kind of scamming scheme is getting known.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers of mixer/tumblers on: March 25, 2023, 09:57:55 PM
Mixers or tumblers are services that allow users to mix their Bitcoin transactions with those of other users to obscure the source and destination of funds. While mixers can be useful for maintaining privacy, there are also some potential dangers associated with using them. There are several services that claim to offer this level of security, but it is important to be careful of any claim that the mixer is completely secure or anonymous and at worst is blacklisted by exchanges and other service providers.
Any person who have use mixer or tumbler know if centralized exchange, bank, and government are blacklist mixing usage because it can be used to money laundering. This is we have an option to use decentralized exchange and cash out without bank, but it's hard since you need to find someone who's willing to trade with you. Mixing isn't make your transaction secure, but it just to increase your privacy into 100% anonymity.
Top mixer are being sued by the government now because of fraud issue so it will be hard to spot a good one if you still concern about your privacy. Dealing to someone is not safe as well, you can’t fully trust their statement alone, it should be based on their trust rating as well. If your purpose is privacy, then try to use other platform who offers this kind of services, just try it for a few bucks and see how it works.

The Chipmixer issue really is a big blow to the crypto mixer business.
They are one of the top and reputable mixers in this community.
So right now, we don't know how safe and secure they are once the government seized their operations.
You can try other mixers, but as you said, use small funds if it will go thru smoothly.
However, if you don't need this service, why not just use the regular trading platforms for your crypto needs?
Ask yourself, how badly you need the 100% anonymity that you will go thru via mixer services?
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 25, 2023, 09:43:36 PM
If Casino's in Macau begin accepting CBDC's, It may prompt other casino's to follow suit especially in places where CBDC's already have the Legal Tender status.

Gambling Capital of the World Macau to accept CBDC as Legal tender

Since CBDC's are not really any different than FIAT, the casinos that don't accept FIAT won't accept CBDC's too. Fundamentally CBDC's and FIAT are both the same thing. If a casino gets into trouble for accepting FIAT or any players from the United States, that casino will experience the same problems if they accept CBDC's as deposits. I don't really see how CBDC are a game changer. Online crypto casino should stick to legit projects like BTC, ETH, DOGE, LTC etc... They have already proven themselves and they work just fine. Just don't do any business with the govs and let them implode.

I am also on your side, CBDC is just the digital counterpart of their fiat.
So if the casino is crypto-based and not accepting fiat, then, they won't accept CBDC as well.
I don't know how it will be a game changer. But if the fiat-based casino will start accepting CBDC, then, later on, they may accept crypto if they haven't done it yet.
Macau casinos (land-based) are accepting fiat, if they will accept CBDC, then, high likely, they will soon accept crypto, which is good for the crypto market.
But remember, one is not free from the submission of KYC docs when you use CBDC as it is the same with fiat, you are just using a digital currency of it.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 25, 2023, 09:23:18 PM
Two things I think AI can resolve in the gambling niche are provably fair and payback percentage genuineness. Many casino sites present to players what they don't actually offer to them. AI can easily detect if the casino is genuine in their words and terms of service. For instance, a casino that claim to payout 90% but delivers 85%, AI can boldly flag such a casino as deceitful. Hence, talking about AI in gambling it should be for and against the casino. So, if individuals or players can train their AI to penetrate casinos using their API to provide such legitimate information to the public, many players wouldn't fall prey to organized lies made up by the house.

On the other flip, the casino can also use AI to hint newbies on the risk of gambling and advise them not to play more than they can lose. It'll help reduce many complaints raised by unguided newbies who lost it all.

AI can do a lot in the gambling business but it depends on what it is being programmed to do.
However, the casino itself should be ready if it is tasked to detect the provable fairness of the site.
It means, they should really be practicing the fairness all the time, no exception of any situation.
In addition, they can verify the house edge of the casino, as claimed by the casino itself.
Usually, players don't verify or don't know how to verify if the displayed HE is true or not, so maybe AI can verify such feature.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future is looking good for P2e games on: March 24, 2023, 09:58:15 PM
There are no good p2e games on the market right now but i'm sure it's just because it's a new thing and people don't really found it's perfect form yet. Console gaming companies may be exploring ways to incorporate blockchain and NFTs into their offerings, it remains to be seen whether play-to-earn games will become a major focus of the gaming industry in the years to come.

There still Axie Infinity that I believe, a lot of players are still playing.
But they say, it is getting expensive and the earning is not the same anymore.
There are other platforms like CryptoKitties, The Sandbox and others, which means, they are still surviving.
Chainplay has long list of these P2E games, you can also check their corresponding markets - https://chainplay.gg/, most of the top p2e game are still under ETH network.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pastor Shuts Down His Church After Winning About $140,000 In Sports Betting.. on: March 24, 2023, 09:39:03 PM
I see him a good pastor, because his greed have made him a pastor. Now what he looked for have been won and he believes of better life with the winning amount. Once he have made a mistake and now he have got an opportunity to get out of it. Very few pastor's were serving wholeheartedly whereas the majority were for money. In specific there is lot of difference between a catholic priest and a pastor. To be a catholic priest he needs to learn many things and it takes atleast 10+ years of time. Anyone turns to be a pastor with the knowledge about the Bible. This is why more fake pastors seen around.

I do agree that being a priest and a pastor has a lot of differences.
Also, before becoming a priest, that person is given the chance to live outside the church to determine if priesthood is really his calling.
Whereas, you can be a pastor with little effort on your side. Maybe, just deceive even yourself that you want to preach and know something about your holy book.
And one example is the OP's story, I believe that pastor had difficulty in moving forward to be a pastor once he got such money.
Because if he doesn't have that amount, he can always be a pastor and live not in hunger, because he can always get something from church people.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 24, 2023, 09:02:25 PM
In my country i observed so many people doing rally and blame the government why the basic needs price rise and the salary is still very low and not enough for daily expenses, is this the effect of the Ukraine and russia war that makes the gas or crude oil so high at price and they pass the gas expenses to the product and it ends to very high price of the basic needs that make us very poor, I see government has a move to resolve the problem but many people are still blaming the government.
They can always do that if they really try hard to. But since the government has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill, they can’t hardly provide the needs of all families. Though they can give assistance but those are only good for short term, and if these people won’t work hard and strive hard on their own, they will only be starving to death.

In short, people need to help themselves in order to alleviate their status in life.
The government can only provide to some extent, but the real work will be on the people themselves.
Should not blame the government about your status in life, because yourself alone can carve the path of your future.
You may have born as poor, but growing up, you can help yourself how to get out of poverty.
Just remember, how many stories you've heard about those rags-to-riches stories?
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 23, 2023, 09:56:40 PM
Losing doesn't mean the site is cheating, this is how gambling works and probably you made a mistake with your bet or its really a bad day for you. This is gambling, losing are more possible than winning and this is not cheating, gambling is a business so expect that you will not always win. If you are using the best site, you can have a peace of mind about its fairness since it is already a proven site, what you can do is try to know if the site is being fair or have any issues, if you find any better to leave that site and look for a good one.
We can't tell what exactly is happening and what sites or platform the OP been using but it all depends on what algorithm or codes that casino have been using. So what if they actually do add some stuff on the codes everytime you bet large amount the higher the chances their platform will win? Ever think about that before?

If it's a legit or reputable casino perhaps this won't be a problem to OP but who knows? Casinos/gambling is designed to actually make the owner win most of the time and not the other way around.

The very reason why it is always advisable to play on a reputable casino.
Because if they are known to be one, they won't make a mistake of cheating their players.
As they will be discovered by any of their players. And if it is out in the community, their business is screwed.
There are some silent users who will do the work of investigating the casino, and they will only disclose it once they found the loophole inside.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Leaderboards: Someone lost $120m... on: March 23, 2023, 09:35:23 PM
120 million $ I think a very large amount for someone, if he diversifies his portfolio maybe it's only a small part of his total assets, we never know who that person is, it could be someone who is rich in the real world or the like, because here people people don't really know about the ownership of assets that many belong to other people.

We don't even need to know the person's identity, but the investment method is very bad because altcoins are not guaranteed to be trusted for the long term, there are too many list top projects that have failed and have harmed investors, so we stay focused on the basis of crypto investment, that there is no investment besides Bitcoin, altcoins are the highest risk of investment.

High likely, that person is heavily invested on FTX as he strongly believed on SBF's capability.
If you don't trust the platform, you won't transfer such tons of money to any platform.
Not many people have that huge amount of money, but the FTX fallout was a very very expensive lesson for that person.
I believe, people need to learn their lessons before they will secure their funds from possible losses.
