341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: November 09, 2023, 06:05:48 PM
In fact, in many places they say that we should keep records of all our bets so that we can redeem them in the future to review successes and losses and thus learn from mistakes.

However, I don't think this is efficient for the sport I bet on....
In football, each game is unique, there is no way to find a pattern in the games or something that can be analyzed!

I find it interesting that at the end of each game the bettor evaluates his bet and what happened during the game, if he lost, see why he made a mistake... if it is because the game had an unforeseen result or event, or if there really was a fails to predict the best outcome.
Now that's an analysis that could make sense. But keeping records of several games and bets, in my opinion, is not advantageous in football.

You will find out soon that keeping such records will be a headache to you.
Not only because of seeing those losses, but the activity itself will drain your energy as it is additional task.
So for me, this task is not sustainable. It is better to just allocate money for your betting activities, that you think you won't have qualms losing.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Brics Coin - The Leading Multilateral Cryptocurrencies on: November 08, 2023, 11:30:30 PM
BRC IS MORE THAN JUST A DIGITAL CURRENCY

It's a Powerful UTILITY TOKEN with Endless Possibilities

Unlock a New Era of Financial Potential !

Adoption is usually the bottleneck of every altcoin project.
How are you gong to attack this dilemma of most developers?
As of now, it is misleading about your claim about being the leading multilateral crypto.
For sure, very few right now know about the existence of this project.
And as a start, what companies/shops/platforms will be using your token?
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: November 08, 2023, 10:21:45 PM
Ripple is taking advantage the fact 80% of global finance leaders say they are likely to begin using digital assets in the next 3 years. It has now expanded to offer payment services in more then 70 markets.

Its goal is to help do transactions by offering cross boarder payments on the blockchain. It has just made a new partnership with fintech company Onafriq.

I have nothing against with XRP when it comes to payment method, because they are relatively cheap in fees and
you can find it in most trading platforms.
However, if you are thinking of long-term holding, that's when you really need think about.
So it is no surprise if a lof of companies will start using XRP in their payment system, because they are really capable on this aspect.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The zeal to invest in speculative asset on: November 08, 2023, 09:51:03 PM
@OP, Generally, there are thousands of cryptocurrencies in the space, and Bitcoin is the head of them all. When referring to Bitcoin, it's better to spell it out; otherwise,  it will be concluded that you are not only referring to a particular cryptocurrency. If you are not also specifically talking about Bitcoin, then you should move your topic to the altcoin discussion board.

One character of Bitcoin is volatility, and that's why it's better to invest in it and hold it in your wallet until the bull market, but if you are investing in altcoins, you should also prepare your mind for any losses you may incur.
To a fault there people that still mistake bitcoin as cryptocurrency in general not knowing that cryptocurrency is made up of numerous digital currency with a different blockchain, just like fiat with different currencies.  One of the asymmetry between bitcoin and altcoins, alts are not definite to mark a bull run or an all time high as many of these coins are projected sponsored by scammers  to defraud investors of their Investment that's why you have to do your study weighing all possibilities before investing into any alt project because character.the possibility of losing is higher than your chances of making a profit with alts due to their pumb and dump character.

The OP's statement is indeed vague as there are so many cryptocurrencies in the market.
Only few of them is worth holding long-term. Users should not count that any crypto can be categorized as such.
And outside this market, there are people who will prefer to invest in tangible assets such as real-estate, precious metal over crypto.
If you happen to be in this market, sure, volatility is your friend to gain profits, however, only few are worth holding.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Swiss Franc become a new Cryptocurrency ;D on: November 07, 2023, 11:46:20 PM
The swiss Franc becoming a new cryptocurrency might just be another launch of a CBDC for the host country.
I doubt it would be as decentralized as crypto currency currently is and since it is a legal tender, regulators would be bearing down on the side to monitor transactions and payments from individual users.
I don't know why government of several countries refuse to accept plain cryptocurrencies or BTC at worst. Perhaps because they have no control over it, and that's a why they introduced CBDC in various forms to discourage the growth and use of cryptocurrencies.

Funny enough is the fact that the swiss franc will be launched on the Blockchain network which has so far been the parent system for everything cryptocurrency and virtual reality related.

There's no doubt, they would make it as decentralized. As for sure, it will be another CBDC, controlled by the government.
But this means that the government is already acknowledging the blockchain technology, though I believe, they are one of the early ones which accept the existence of crypto.
Government won't accept crypto or BTC because they are decentralized in nature, that's the main factor. They have no control about its circulation.
CBDC may pave the way for its citizen to know more about blockchain, cryptocurrencies among other things. So won't be bad to crypto market, as people will educate themselves about the difference of CBDC vs decentralized cryptocurrencies.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 07, 2023, 11:27:39 PM
There's no particular or recommended age to become financially stable, but if you start your investments early, you'll reap the rewards early.

It's also worth noting that no one really goes straight to investing on stocks, real estate, or any sort of things like that at an early age, unless you're using your parents money or only extremely lucky to be at the right place and at the right time to have the money to buy in on these assets. What most people do is invest on their skills and eventually land a high paying job. During those times, you also work on your 'network' to increase your chances of getting jobs that pay higher. And while you do this, you are already trying to keep some of your salary for the rainy days, or possibly an investment. It's a gradual process, and it depends entirely on the circumstances on whether you'll break out of the salaryman stage early or late--or never at all.

You can accomplish all of this if you put a bit of effort and consistency. Invest in yourself, and trust the process. There's no limit to financial stability except yourself.

There's no defined age when to achieve such stability. But the earlier, the better.
Because it means, you can enjoy what you really wanted to do, pursue your passion and more.
But most of the time, during our early years, we tend to enjoy life and not worry about our future.
We spend more to unnecessary things, and very few think about investments.
If you happen to realize early that you need to secure your future, you will thank yourself later on.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investment, Beyond "Invest What You Can Afford to Lose" on: November 07, 2023, 09:54:53 PM
In bitcoin investment a good investors does not invest what they can not afford to lose, I know quite well that any investment is a risk and you have to understand the advantages and disadvantages of investment, so therefore I believe that bitcoin investment maybe risk to the investor when the investor have not make a proper research of the investment,  so therefore make a research and understand the output and input of bitcoin investment or any other investment before you can as well venture into the investment, investing what you can not afford to lose in cryptocurrency I think its very bad and you have to know that as investor so that a newbie will not use all it has to invest and if it lose it will be depressed till infinity.

In every investment, crypto or not, it is your responsibility to do your homework before jumping in.
So even if you can afford to lose such money, it is always advisable to learn about what you are going into.
Because this will give you insights if you are going into a profitable market or not, or has the probability if the market will have positive returns.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 07, 2023, 09:25:50 PM
I do say in trading no one is an expert though there are people who made it through it but not for everyone from my own view, because mistakes can come at anytime and when a trader is always trying to be professional in their trading journey they often make lost, why because they thought they can handle the entire market conditions or can trade with past history to what the previous candle and indication they had before. Naturally it's too complex to understand trading entirely even as I am now currently I do finds difficulties while to make some cool cash from it all less I just wanna scalp for the day maybe buying little and watch for just some percentage changes and this could be 1 to 5 percentage I can likely take profits.

Professional, expert or novice traders, they still can experience mistakes or losses.
Even if you say, you already know a lot of angles in trading, still, you are no exception to suffer loss.
As each project is unique to each other, there is no concrete strategy that will work every time you trade.
Hence, mistake or miscalculations is always around the corner. After all, we are only speculating on our every move.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im short trader Im new here but been long time in trading on: November 07, 2023, 12:05:49 PM
I have couple of questions as I wanted to ask intention of posting t? is it to help community with your signal or to advertise about your premium channel where you shares these signals.a If you are here to share the knowledge which you have accumulated then you are most welcome and you may articulate it in a better way for everyone to understand. But if you are pitching for your premium services try offering some sort of free trail for a week I have made a post in regards to this last week wherein if a trader or owner of paid group is so confident on his research analysis and signals like you mentioned majority of your signal do work, it would be great to let people use it on trail basis before opting for package. Since you said you do shorts and right now market might not be suitable are it's going upward, what's the alternative apart from long.

I have the feeling that he is here to advertise his channel.
But if they are already doing good as he described it, then, by all means, why not exhaust their strategies for their own profits?
Because most people who say this kind of statement is discreetly marketing their services.
For users who will be attracted with this bait, better think not only twice or many times, because usually such claim is only a trap.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A more scientific mindset is necessary to avoid scams. on: November 06, 2023, 11:59:27 PM
However, I also don't think that investors or users should get into too many technical and scientific details about the project but they should at least thoroughly evaluate the project, the team behind it, the purpose of creating the project, and how much of a difference that will make for the community, etc.
-The problem is that the investors are unwilling to go into much of any scientific details of the project because they are lazy and know nothing about anything. They are also too arrogant to ask any questions about the project. Because of their arrogance and heinous superiority complexes, they hate the good projects because the good projects for really dumb reasons. These people are the worst of the worst.

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

The reality is most people are after for quick profits in this market, hence, they overlook valuable projects.
Also, they may be tired of seeing those comprehensive papers because as people have seen throughout the years, it is not an assurance that the project will pull it off.
A lot of good projects have been shelved because of lack of funding or weak marketing, hence, the team can't make the project survive.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pro-trend or Counter-trend? on: November 06, 2023, 11:41:54 PM
If that strategy works for you then fine but if it's about the fundamentals that you are following then that's much better. You don't have to counter the trend but if you think that it is adaptable, just do it.
Because you don't have to be against the market which is going to hurt you eventually because a lot of variance changes if it's you that's dependent to the market.

This depends on the coin or token itself. You can't count on the trend if you don't know what's really happening on the project.
It is always best to learn the basics of trading as well as the project you are eyeing to trade at.
The more you know about the coin, the more you understand why it is behaving such way in the trading market.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: November 06, 2023, 10:10:21 PM
I won't wait until the global economy collapses before I start buying more Bitcoin, for me the time is now if you must hodl, looking at the recent happenings many nations are considering diversification as the best option, if you have a source of income, and you know truly well that your income can sustain you very well, you can also save from it, use your savings to invest in bitcoin the little you can so that you wont, when doing this make sure it wont affect you, use the amount that wont affect you in any way, the way events are unfolding in the last few weeks, it seems something is cooking, let's not fold our hands and just watch without making a positive move, do your best and be optimistic.

Not all people have the financial capability to buy when they want to.
Also, some people will go into other assets and not crypto, more tangible than this market.
For me, I think, I will keep on buying gold jewelries and maybe a land.
At least, if you have small parcel of land, you can have your own garden and be self-sufficient with some of your food needs.
353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 06, 2023, 09:35:05 PM
AI is not a machine that predicts the future and is also not an observing machine that happens by itself because this tool was also created by humans so its predictions for the price of Bitcoin are not much different from what many people are saying or predicting at the moment.
It is true that AI is a machine which has the ability to predict the future. If we put valid and trusted data, AI machine can predict in a proper way. Sure, its prediction isn't so different with human's prediction. The data put on AI machine is derived from human, right? Since it is a prediction, we shouldn't trust it 100%. AI machine or human only predicts the future, they can't determine the future. So, I think we mustn't be so confused about AI prediction.

But I hope that the results from AI will not be used as a basis for making investment decisions, because its accuracy is still highly doubtful -snip-
AI prediction isn't for the basis for investment choice/decision. If we want to decide anything in investment, it should be based on our own analysis. Sure, the accuracy isn't 100%, for me the accuracy of a prediction commonly is around 50-60% only.
CMIIW

The prediction of AI is quite positive, so the decision will be on your hands if you will indeed believe it or not.
The probability of happening may not be high, this is why it is called speculation or prediction.
But there's nothing wrong in using it as a guide on how you will invest on this market, just make sure that you have no one to blame if you follow such prediction.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 06, 2023, 06:10:57 PM
I don't think a young man who barely knows anyone older than him will be heard. I think that your neighbor, if he has money and adult children, will be able to figure out his own entertainment. We have no right to interfere with advice where we are not asked. Therefore, you can observe, and if one day you are asked for advice, boldly go to save your neighbor. But for now, do not do good so as not to receive evil.
The problem with most of the older gamblers is that since they have better experiences in gambling, so they know more how to deal with gambling than those who are only starting to gambling. With that, it’s really impossible that your advices will be heard. However, it also depends on how you are going to deliver your advice. If you advise like a close friend, probably he will try to listen and consider your advice especially if he knows he is going far with his gambling habit. But if you advise him like you know better than him in gambling, you are only wasting your time because once he feels offended and sense that you are already over interfering on his own gambling business, then your advice will be useless and will only be taken for granted.

Maybe for now, let him do what he wants to do with his life. Anyway, he's a pensioner and his games are like his companion these days.
Try giving such piece of advice if he asks for it or give hints that he needs help about his gambling habits.
But without showing any indication that he needs help, don't offer it. As you said, he will just ignore those words.
He is enjoying his senior years, and maybe this activity is helping him to stay sane and active with life.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfury will not pay the promised bounty for bugs found on: November 05, 2023, 11:55:11 AM
So maybe they already found the bugs before you reported it, or maybe someone already reported it first. Public will not know about it, only the staff and devs on that website.
Well if you feel that you have been scam by that website, I suggest to bring this thread to the scam accusation section, not here on the gambling section.

If there was someone reported about the same bugs, OP should not be able to find it because professional casino will fix it as soon as possible or at least deactivate the related features which may make them lose some money. I see that the bugs reported by OP has big possibility to be abused and may make the casino lose a lot of money. I think the casino should at least give at least a "thank" for OP to report the bugs. It does not matter the bug is reported already or not, but I think rewarding people who found bugs in the casino is a must. It does not need to be in a big amount of money but it can be anything as appreciation from the casino to anyone who reported the bug.

They should at least give proof that the bug was reported earlier by another bug bounty hunter and not just say that they know the bug and working on it already, bug bounty hunters will just suspect that they want to take advantage and do not want to pay, a mere thank you is not enough, I don't know much about coding, but based on what I read it consumes time and too much effort just to find bugs.

OP mentioned that he is not expecting big rewards so Betfury should get a hint and reward OP on what they think he deserves, and casinos should create a page or announcement about bugs for transparency purposes, so in case one bug bounty hunter finds one bug he can check the page if there's already a report on the bug.

That is true, should have valid proof about such claim, or better yet, they need to be clear about the rules of their bug bounty program.
Because if that is the case, then, you don't know if someone already reported such bug to them or not yet.
How will you know if they are saying the truth from their end? Though it is still their prerogative as they are the owners of the site.
It depends on how they will manage such program. But these hunters may not be encourage to report anymore, which has the possibility that they can just abuse such bug.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 05, 2023, 11:04:10 AM
I'm amazed at your resolve to stack as much sats as possible. That's incredible of you. You even decided to sell your car for the sake of Bitcoin investment. You didn't even renew your gym membership even if that's already very personal and not really a vanity of some sort.

I don't want to say that you're going too far on your determination to have as much Bitcoin as possible, but I haven't considered this myself. I didn't even change my lifestyle just to have more Bitcoin. There's not much to save anyway because I'm not living a luxurious life, but perhaps I just don't want to sacrifice too much.

There are people who have that kind of motivation when it comes to investment.
For people who can afford, there's no problem in buying more. Also, it means, they truly believe on this market.
Just like people who are into real-estate or gold, they will buy as long as they feel they have money to spend.
But it is understandable for a lot of crypto users who can't buy more even if they want to or save their satoshis.
We all have our own expenses and somehow, we need to cash out if there's a need to.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 05, 2023, 10:26:43 AM

My question is, why does the demo mode seem to pay more than the real mode, and has anyone else noticed this difference?

Casinos are giving us a sense of false hope. When we have demo mode, it seems that it is very easy to win and you might win big. So obviously demo mode is rigged somewhat to favor us.

But when you change it to the real mode with real money, that's where the switch happens. RTP has been change and there will be more near hit or near miss and obviously they are going to play with our emotions. And so we might go and deposit for more and the next thing we know, we have been losing like hundreds and if not thousand in just one sitting and we can't control ourselves because we think that we might replicate what the demo mode shows us.

Though hard to prove if the demo mode is rigged or not, we can't really compare our games with demo vs actual game.
Just treat these 2 as independent ones, and think that both should be using the provable fair system.
I won't expect to win the same as much as winnings from demo mode. There's no correlation at all.
Slots is a luck-based game, so every bet is unique and independent of your previous bet, just like in demo mode.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 05, 2023, 09:29:57 AM
I gave TG Casino after I find it on your site, I can confirm that my withdrawal process went smoothly and they had surprisingly good games, just like a normal casino. I believe it's perfect for mobile play, but I couldn't get it to work on my desktop and I prefer to play on PC

Maybe you need to install telegram on desktop first. Because there's telegram app on desktop.
In any case, it is good that you have good experience so far on this type of casino.
But in my opinion, better use small funds to play on this type of casino as it is hard in my opinion to run after them in case you have problem.
They can easily ignore you as they are doing their business anonymously.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 05, 2023, 09:05:29 AM
Analysis is the most important thing in sports betting. The more data analysis they can do, the better decisions they can make. Be it football or cricket first you need to get a very good idea about the team and at that time also keep a good eye on the recent incident. Because any player can get injured at any time. Sometimes even if you follow all the rules of gambling well, there may be defeat. This is a normal process. However, if after careful observation, the decision is defeated, it is also good because luck did not favor. But the main point is that the better the review, the better the decision. However, some unexpected events will happen in sports betting that is not occur always at that moment. It is better to not waste your time that only depend one luck.
So they should start learning analysis about sports betting and they can try it with their favorite sport as a learning experience. If they can gain more knowledge about sports betting analysis that they like, it can improve their ability to analyze matches and that means they will have a greater chance of winning their bets. But they have to know that developing analytical skills takes a long time, so they have to be patient and keep learning. Once they understand how they analyze sports betting, they can try placing bets but use something other than big money. Try to use small money first. And if they do it regularly and always analyze their bets, they may increase the number of bets. But still remember that they only use money they can afford so that if they lose, it won't hurt too much.

The OP said that he knows a lil bit about cricket and football, so he can start betting on these sports.
But should deposit small amount of money first, and test his prediction skills on these sports.
Start with betting on matches that he is most familiar of. Then, start gaining information for the teams he wants to bet with.
The more information he knows, the more comfortable he will be on betting those matches.
360  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 05, 2023, 08:19:00 AM
At least you came so real trying to solve a problem that's not solvable, not like other platforms that claim that everything that has to do with gambling is bad and as such people should stay away from it.
Did you see the URL? QuitGamble.com Which means you should quit gambling.

I have not checked your site yet, but I will do so one of these days to see the details myself, so I can recommend it to anyone who needs to get off the addiction page.
You have not checked the site and you make conclusion. I only read the introductory path which has no complete information and I may not be exactly be correct either. The introductory path does not talk about quitting though.

People that want people to quit addiction want addicted people to stop doing that thing that makes them addicted, like to stop smoking or gambling. It is better to stop than to continue to be addicted.

This site is good for gamblers who want to quit gamble for free, like a guide on how to combat their addiction.
I don't know the catch but the it seems their goal is to really help those gamblers who are having trouble with their gambling habits.
I remember, there's one thread here asking how to avoid addiction where you don't need to spend money or at least the cheaper alternatives.
Maybe some users can find this site useful or remind them on how to fall from the trap of gambling addiction.
