Sharing your idea is okay as long as the listener is enthusiastic but if they aren't then it's useless to share or continue since they won't listen to you the whole time. Let their curiosity teach them and if they find you to ask questions about it then that's the right time you have to help them.

It's been a long time since Bitcoin existed but I'm not sure if everyone know about it since most of them never heard of it for the first time. But it's up to you if you want to share it to them or leave them alone and find those who are interested in investing to Bitcoin. You can't force people to invest on Bitcoin if they don't have a clue what they are investing.

That is very true. You are just wasting your energy explaining it to someone if he has no interest at all.
Some have negative perception also because of the bad news they are reading relating to crypto.
Let them initiate to ask about btc, because with such curiosity, they will try to listen and understand what you have to say.
All the other info can be found also over the internet, so people would just like more of assurance what they are getting into if they want to talk with you about this matter.
You will only get disappointed if you try to share what you know of to people who are not willing to listen.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what is the best way to gamble w/ BTC on online casinos? on: February 05, 2023, 08:52:51 PM
It is easy OP.There is this strict unwritten rule here that you have to check all the gambling section and read the ANN thread of different casinos and play only in ones that they have only positive reviews and different bonuses ongoing so you won't get that bored easily.Based on such activity I think it is safe to say that you can try the casino in my signature as a first good one with many others following.

I would suggest this method also. As you can't suggest one specific gambling site, better look at the active threads in the gambling board.
You can check the trust summary of their rep if they have existing complaints or has negative trust.
Check the validity of the issue by following the corresponding link of the complaint.
Each casino and sportsbook has their own pros and cons, but better start with reputable ones found in this forum.
The OP may found out that even some top casinos have complaints, but investigate if they have been resolved and are already closed.
Would be advisable to play on sites that have active threads here as you can easily get a response from their admin if you need help.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting Facts About Online Casinos on: February 05, 2023, 07:46:28 PM
FACT 7: You can tip the dealer in online live casino games
Just like in land based casinos, some operators like Evolution gaming provide the player to tip the live dealer in appreciation for good service in case they wish to do so.
Huh Where have you seen that bro? It's just a copy-paste BS IMO because as ralle14 said, nobody has ever seen that. I often play there like many people here and I have never seen a dealer saying thank you for the tip. In addition when people ask if it's possible to tip them they reply no it's not possible, so it doesn't depend on the casino you are using obviously, Evolution just doesn't allow that to anyone. I'm surprised you didn't bother to check that yourself before posting it, I thought you were gambling at online casinos actually.

Fact number 7 is probably the surprising fact for me since i've been playing at Evolution gaming countless times already and I still haven't seen that tipping feature. I would've tipped a few dealers if the feature was more visible or maybe it's only limited to a few tables or casinos.
No it's not hidden, or only available at some tables, it just doesn't exist at Evolution unlike few other providers allowing it.

Never seen this as well. Maybe, the OP can give us an actual example of casino that have this kind of feature.
I can understand with offline casinos, but with online casinos, don't know if this is indeed happening.
The facts presented may have some deviations to reality but these will give us idea about online casinos.
But we can definitely say that the online gambling population is increasing day by day, just look at the online casinos that are being launched everyday.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 05, 2023, 07:03:55 PM
I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money.
~Snip
 Any thoughts?

I think they do want their "customers" to remain happy so that they will keep coming back. Although casinos, just like any other business care about their profits more than anything else. Which can be morally right or morally wrong, depending on the different perspectives. But they do need to make money if they wish to survive as a business, thats a fact.

But I do believe that they would not want to do anything that might anger their customers. Obviously, making sure their customers participate in responsible gambling is part of that.

They are placing those reminders as default reminders to the players.
It is like a friendly reminder to the gamblers so they won't be too hard to the casino if in case something goes awry.
So it seems they want to take care of their players by being mindful of what they do.
But of course, let's accept the fact that casinos want to earn profits and more.
As a gambler, it is still on your hands how you will contain yourself when you are already playing.
Casinos can't do anything about your gambling activities, however, if you self-exclude yourself, that's when casinos can interfere your gambling habits.
1165  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 04, 2023, 09:50:37 PM
but, like I said before. in essence, both have the same functionality depending on our needs when going to use them.
Indeed, both of these devices function the same and have their own advantages and disadvantages, but there are relatively many gamblers among cellphone users because many gamblers don't have computers/laptops or like to gamble anywhere and anytime without the hassle of carrying a laptop anywhere. The web interface of the casino is very responsive for any device user, if accessing the casino is only for sports betting then it is more convenient to use a mobile phone but it all depends on the individual as they can use both devices in certain situations.
^ This also depends on the casino's user interface, because there are casinos don't look good on mobile and that is the reason why they have a mobile version which I think that is an app because when you will go to their website and open it, you will directly to their app. Most mobile gambling platforms are now using app/dapp which is I think very convenient for people to gamble. But some are afraid to download this app because of security reasons. So the option of desktop or mobile phone I think it depends on us which are preferred.

How I look at these options, is mobile app is more on for convenience purposes, whereas, if you want to chill at home, it would be desktop.
If you are outside your home, and you're traveling, much better to open the site using a handy phone, right?
And also, most people can afford to have a smartphone, but not many prefer to buy a desktop on their own if it is really not necessary.
In short, it depends on your preference here. But for the casinos to catch all kinds of gamblers, better to have both options.
1166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vavada.com | ⭐ crypto casino with quick withdrawals ⭐ | personal bonuses 🎁💰 on: February 04, 2023, 09:31:29 PM
@OP, Seems like the forum members have no interest to discuss about your casino here. Maybe the forum members aren't playing on Vavada.com. Anyway, your casino has poor ratings on Trustpilot. Most of the negative reviews are related to a streamer payment. Is it true that Vavada.com didn't process the withdrawal of the streamer?
It seems that they don't have a community in this forum and just want to do updates on their ANN thread. I just saw the feedbacks on trustpilot and if the complaints where true, They just did the worst marketing move ever. Imaging paying some streamers that have their own community and not paying them after completing the requirements given to them by the casino. Of course the streamers community will bring back a negative feedback about them. If they can't pay for the marketing strategy they have made, What more about the gamblers that are playing on the casino. It could be worst than that. The marketing strategy of this casino ain't working that well also put them in a bad side, This might be the reason why they don't have that much people talking about them here.

As their representative here is quite active, let us wait their response about this matter.
Hope they will address it directly and not ignore, because if they will ignore, the complaints may be true.
Much better if they will say something about it and clarify their position on this issue.
Otherwise, this will give potential players to be cautious on using this site.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 04, 2023, 08:47:11 PM
1/5. It's a good thing you only tried with small bets. Don't you think they were deployed by bookmakers as bait to those who want to try copying thier bets?
I doubt it's a trap set by Stake, the feature can still be convenient for the bettors that use the feature because instead of clicking several times just to browse different matches, they can add it to their bet slip much faster with a few clicks.

Also, when i do make out bets then i do make out on something that puts up me some thrill and excitement on the time that i do make out selection
because there's no fun if you do just simply put bets on games which you dont even know.
For me it goes both ways, I sometimes get interested in certain sports that i'm not familiar with thanks to the tipsters that have good records or give out good reasoning behind their picks.

I also don't believe that those bets were deployed by stake. Remember, there are so many high rollers in stake.
This is why, they can very well afford to bet $1k and above, I've seen hundreds of thousands of dollars bet on this site.
Not following these high rollers as I know they are also the same people like us betting and hoping, they may know the sports but we have no
idea how familiar they are with that particular sports.
The OP's example shows that we can't trust these high rollers with their bets, much better to bet on your own to the sports you are very familiar with.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't see this changing anytime soon on: February 03, 2023, 09:59:18 PM
Binance leaving the market? Can you imagine this it will be a big panic and of course people will be more hesitant to start their crypto journey because big exchanges are leaving the market.

You’re not that evil but you’re just over thinking, CEX will stay and will continue to compete with DEX like it or not. What happened to FTX can still happen though and this is a reminder that we should not store any crypto for long term on ang exchanges.

A good example why CEX won't be leaving anytime soon in this market.
Binance is one of the top trusted CEXs among crypto community, so even if we had FTX fallout, it won't affect customers.
Maybe the thought of pulling out their funds from CEXs and transferring it to their own wallets,
but still people will use the services offered by centralized exchanges.
Just an example is that you can't get a lot of trading pairs from DEXs. Most top alts are still available from CEX trading platforms.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin limitation (self challenge) on: February 03, 2023, 08:37:51 PM
Isn't the option of buying a battery powered by solar energy to charge your phone cheaper than buying a generator? You don't need much to learn, you need a phone and a good internet connection.
Electricity and the Internet are not a problem in learning Bitcoin, but investing will require a lot of money from you, because buying one Bitcoin will cost you a lot according to your country.
After you have a stable internet all you will need to start learning from good sources.

This is what I am thinking. These days you can buy a cheap solar system - panel, batteries, inverter or all-in-one.
Generator is quite expensive if you have no budget for this. At least with solar panels, the source of energy is always free.
I hope the OP can read this suggestion as for sure solar energy is cheaper than generator if you are just setting up like 200-W solar panel.
Check also the wind turbine option. You can already run hybrid sources of energy these days. You can connect both wind turbine and solar panel in one MPPT.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: February 02, 2023, 09:57:29 PM
As for the venue, they are talking about 3 possibilities, (a) MGM Grand Garden Arena, (b) T Mobile Arena, and (c) Allegiant Stadium.

So they are all in Las Vegas, the gambling capital so expect a lot of money going to flow not only in this fight, but in the casino's surrounding it. There has hasn't been a boxing event in Allegiant Stadium, the home of Las Vegas Raiders who reported to have a sitting capacity of 70,000.

MGM has 20,000 and T Mobile Arena 17,000 sitting capacity.

So let's wait till the final contract has been signed and if they are looking to sit more boxing fans, Allegiant Stadium might be the good choice here.

I've read an article about this as well and found out that they are targeting Allegiant Stadium and in-fact, that is the last and latest rumor about the venue of the Davis-Garcia fight. Just imagine, a boxing event in a stadium where it can hold 70,000 people and surely, that will be profitable for the organizers of this bout and GBP will be certainly happy if this will be the final venue.

They maybe are not yet in the final stage of choosing the venue because they are still assessing the possible audience for this fight.
If they will choose Allegiant, they are maybe expecting to make this a hit from boxing fans, which is a possibility.
The gate purse alone will give a good pocket money for these 2 boxers, but they should give us a good toe-to-toe fight.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: February 02, 2023, 09:31:35 PM
The two examples above are still in the context of saving, someone who likes to save will find it easier to save Bitcoin if they already know Cryptocurrency. But saving in Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) is riskier than saving money in a bank or elsewhere. Price volatility is an unavoidable risk, you must have realized that Cryptocurrency prices can change very quickly.

Saving in Bitcoin is very tempting but has its own risks or in other words, high returns always provide high risks. Although basically the goal is saving, however these two activities have different advantages and risks.

If the person knows the risks when it comes to btc market, he should know that gaining profit is not always you will expect.
But sure, a person who knows how to save money would find it easy also how to keep some of his bitcoin.
But with volatile market, he should know to what extent he can hold this kind of currency.
This is why some people still prefer to store their funds in the bank because of the low risk, even if they are earning dust of interest.
At least they know when they wake up, their money is still intact. However, in crypto, you can see a roller coaster ride of prices.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency - Healthcare on: February 02, 2023, 09:04:48 PM
I worked in the healthcare industry, and the only application blockchain can see itself in this line of industry is through patient information system and database management. Apart from that, the healthcare industry doesn't need. No tokenization of big pharma, no cryptocurrencies dedicated to it, just plain integration of the blockchain tech in the underbelly of data management of the whole industry. When big pharma and other such entities have their own tokens, they are not there to help cure diseases and serve the public; they're there to make money. They are already making enough profit for themselves, so perhaps all they need to do is really improve what they deliver and that's it.

You have a point on this, however, I don't understand why projects relating to healthcare industry seemed not to be successful.
If you are long enough in this forum, I am certain, you have encounter several projects tackling the problems of healthcare industry
in terms of date management. However, I don't know where they are now also. But the concept is great because it will benefit the
healthcare industry. They can easily deduce some conclusions from the give database, though we know processing such data is a tedious one.
I believe it is lack of funds that made some of these good projects to be abandoned but they surely gave a great idea on how it
can possibly assist the healthcare industry . Maybe, we need a big company to really fund such endeavor and be consistent with it.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being Lonely drives you towards Gambling....! on: February 01, 2023, 09:52:19 PM
Does anybody have this experience or this is happening with me. Most of my gambling losses have taken place when I feel lonely.
Today one such incident have taken place. I've kept my last few weeks signature earning aside to meet some medical needs. Today my mother got hospitalised and I'm her attender. She is supposed to take a minor surgery as her vision isn't clear. She's been taken to the Operation Theatre and I was left alone in the room. If anything required the nursing staff would call me. By thos time my mind didn't think about anything. All of the sudden why don't you gamble? and I started and made 0.009BTC close to 0.01BTC and the greed didn't left me. Finally lost all my month's earning kept aside.
Gambling is after all an entertainment isn't it. You were lonely and bored hence, you chose to take the way you thought could have brought you some entertainment and be rewarding perhaps. Unfortunately, you didn't make any profit except loses and I can't say that wasn't expected, lol...
Perhaps let's say, you paid for the fun games you played.

You chose betting over every other option as it is by far something you like to do. Don't know if itswhat I'll do and perhaps, you've got hospital bills on your mind.

One way is to just play online games for free and not on gambling sites.
Remember, there are so many free apps that you can play all day long just like the candy crush saga and many others.
At least, with these games, you don't need to shell out money unless you want to buy some upgrade.
But if you will go to a gambling site, certainly, you will lose some if you won't stop playing.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 01, 2023, 09:20:18 PM

No official date yet but it will be in the month of May. The venue is in Japan and it's the first time that Fulton will fight outside the USA.
Hopefully as soon as possible all of us who are here can see the date/day/month of boxing between Naoya Inoue vs Stephen Fulton.

Fulton has to be convincing if he wants to win this fight, I mean, it will be held in Japan, so the judges might favor Inoue if this will go to the judges scorecards. Inoue is known for knocking out his opponent early, so it's not expected to reach the judges scorecards, but just in case though.

Well, there were many robberies and controversial decisions as well in the US which favors their own fighters. And I haven't heard of a robbery decision in Japan that's regularly hosting many world title fights yearly.

I have nothing but respect for Stephen Fulton for taking the fight in Japan. Inoue even if he is the challenger is the A-side since he is a 3-division and was a former undisputed champion. So Inoue deserves the homecourt advantage. The officiating in Japan should be fine unlike in South Africa and Thailand where the visitor needs a KO to win.

That's what makes Japan shine from the rest of countries here in this world because apart from the fact that they have a competitive people especially in the world of sports, they also have a good conduct and you can expect that the people living in that country are really honest that's why they got a good image. Surely, they wouldn't want to give their nation a bad name just for the sake of getting some advantage.

Apart from that, yes, Fulton deserve some credits for visiting the country of the challenger of his belts as that took some guts. We all know that the holder of the belts have the say where they want the fight to happen but this scenario is somehow different because the fight will be more profitable if it's going to be hosted by Japan.

Japanese people are known to be honest people, so yes, they won't rob anyone to get the fame they want.
So am not thinking that they will bribe judges in any circumstance just to get the belt.
Inoue will get the belt if he is indeed a deserving one, and we will witness such event at all angles.
Social media these days are very powerful in exposing anomalies, so there's now worry also about getting rob here.
1175  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: February 01, 2023, 08:33:43 PM

Stocks are too slow when we compare it with bitcoin. People want quick gains and that is what bitcoin gives when put side by side with stocks and all others. It is also happening to me. Stocks does not appeal to me again since I learnt about bitcoin. It is easier for me to follow bitcoin than the stock market that has numerous company stocks to follow.

There are still traders that are sticking with stocks because the risk is lower than btc.
Though if you are already comfortable with crypto market, you may really favor the crypto market.
But it is also the same with crypto market, if you are following a lot of coins or tokens.
The difference with stocks is you can follow long-established companies, hence, reducing your risk of failure.
On the other hand, with cryptocurrencies, most projects are anonymous ones so you have no clue where they are heading to when it comes to development.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are good at using the most hyped utility on: January 31, 2023, 09:54:04 PM
Well, the truth is that - scammers will always find a way to trick people. They are getting smarter which could trick us if we are new here and most especially, you are a greedy person. Because even though how much we work on spreading scam awareness and their technique if we are also too blind not to see it due to attractive rewards, it still makes no sense. It is not a war between one person or two against these scammers but should also be a war for everyone who is here. We can't stop them if not all remain too naive not to see how scammers trick us.

Scammers will not stop anytime soon. As long as they can see opportunity, they will grab it.
It is now on the hands of the users how they will prevent getting screwed by these scammers.
If people will stop patronizing projects that are dubious, maybe scammers will lessen their numbers.
However, we can't deny the fact that a lot are still hoping that they will get rich on this market, thus, trying to jump on hyped projects.
1177  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web Browsers begun to have inbuilt Cryptocurrency Wallets on: January 31, 2023, 08:42:45 PM
Browser-based wallets might be convenient, but they are no where near as safe as other alternatives such as spv wallets, bitcoin core and full nodes. Browsers have their own attack layer that is much wider in comparison to a desktop application that is well secured on top of a desktop that is well secured. While it might be great for adoption and on-boarding, it should not be used as a long term solution to store coins.

This is my take also using web browsers with inbuilt crypto wallets.
Maybe for short term purposes but if you want to store your coins long-term,
better transfer it to your own wallets holding your own keys.
I am also not confident using crypto wallets via web browsers, we all know that this is being handled by certain devs
and we don't know exactly the code they are integrating in this application, maybe possible loopholes or something backdoor.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 30, 2023, 07:29:52 PM
Crypto gambling sites don't need to be completely transparent, but they need to be transparent to some extent in order to gain the trust of the public.

Some sites reveal their information to the public with good intentions while some other sites do so with nefarious intentions. Being transparent doesn't automatically translate to a trustworthy site.

Trust is earned little by little in various ways. This is why I feel that the team getting 100% doxxed won't solve the KYC issue.

Yes, because how many times have you seen projects stating that their team is a doxxed one?
And yet, they still end up screwing their investors. It is not anymore an assurance that they will do things right.
So even with gambling sites stating that their team is doxxed, they won't gain the credibility right away.
It is thru the years how they will build their reputation in this business. A matter of years of existence where complaints are being handled promptly.
Sometimes I feel that a project stating that their team is doxxed just wanted to get an approval from the community without so much effort, but people already learned their lessons in this market.

The judges are not Japanese so it is fine to hold this match in Japan.
Also, I don't think Japanese people will favor cheating as they are one of the honest people on this planet.
We will see if Inoue is ready for this moving up of weight division.
But I can understand if bookies will favor Inoue over Fulton, even if Inoue is the challenger here.
So we will expect that Inoue will be the aggressive one on this match.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question on: January 30, 2023, 02:18:43 PM
Everything happened, and it won't be too serious even if bitcoin drops again, as long as they don't sell bitcoin, they won't lose. But you should avoid doing this again in the future.
There should always be a note or reminder to anyone we’re teaching that bitcoin is volatile and we can’t guarantee the price no matter how we monitor and study the market and charts, there are tendencies that we will buy at higher or lower price than others and sells it at higher or lower price than we bought it. I guess as long as we tell them the beneficials pros and cons and they agree that they are willing to take risk in bitcoin then we should not worry. We can guide them but they should find ways to study it by themselves. Trading and investing is a long journey we can’t always depend on the ones who teach us into it.

That is very correct. As a mentor, you are not always by their side to tell what to do next.
So whether to buy at this price level should also be at their disposal and not only relying on your decision.
You can't tell what will happen next also, so you are also relying on your instincts about what will happen next.
Just remind them of the possible consequences of buying at this level right now, or letting this price level pass by at the moment.
The price may decrease or increase depending on the surrounding developments or news at this market.
One should always be prepared and have their contingency plans so as not to get caught in the bad situation.
