661  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 17, 2023, 04:24:31 PM
What we have to consider in building a prosperous business idea is the future elasticity it has with every potential for the business to always remain relevance, but the good idea here is that people keep making new developments to ensure they solves daily human needs and tackle the arising problems also, it takes a lot of research and demands for inventing something new to solve every arising challenges in life but the way we've gone far in making a provisional offer in seing this problems solved depends on how longer they will remain of value to men and the economy, especially on instances were the economy sole depends on things we invented.

And you will immediately know if your idea will survive once it is selling in the market.
It can thrive if people will continue to buy such service or product. But if it won't survive in the market, you will easily see that as well.
There are no concrete guidelines that you can follow on this, but sometimes common sense is more than enough not to go bankrupt.
Also, as a business owner, you should be open to change, or new innovations, be relevant within your market to keep up with the competition.
This is why there's no defined path for every business, one should always be on the lookout for modifications, for the business to thrive.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 17, 2023, 02:43:00 PM
Yeah it is on a bigger stage but sadly they are not the main event.

Regardless, even not a main event, what matter is, it's a title fight.

Not that really a big deal that from an expected main event, it will now be part of the undercard of the mega bout between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. Promoters did a great job here to boost the PPV sales after the changes happened on the original undercard list.

The main event is not just a unification bought but for the undisputed belts so it really deserves as the main event. And there is a possibility that Bud might take the pound-for-pound king status if he dominates and wins the fight.

But I would've preferred this fight as the main undercard since this is a title fight. It is still Pitbull Cruz against Giovanni Cabrera as the main supporting event though it is also a WBA and WBC eliminator. And the fact that Donaire is not a PBC fighter, it is not surprising that they prefer Pitbull to have better exposure leading into the main event.

I doubt Donaire will get a share of the PPV revenue but obviously, he gets a higher purse here rather than the earlier schedule which is why both he and Santiago have no problem moving their scheduled fight.

Looking forward for some historic victories by Donaire and Crawford. Oldest current champion, the oldest bantamweight champion ever for Donaire, and the first-ever 2-division undisputed champion in the 4-belt era for Crawford.

Sometimes, the promoters are after for the purse that they can get from the fight.
So yes, definitely, both camps are fine getting a new schedule and being undercard of the one of the most anticipated fights this year.
This will be a good selling point for Donaire's camp if he will win on this fight, and won't think of retiring from this sports if they will really get the belt.
Aside from the good publicity that they can get from this new sched, it may be a deciding factor for Donaire where to go next for his career.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 17, 2023, 01:36:04 PM
Listen, mate, there are mainly two types of investors. one who does short-term trading and another who invests for the long term. According to me, bitcoins are basically meant for long-term investment. If you are a short-term trader who trades more often, then alt-coins are the best thing that you can trade on. For long-term traders, the price doesn’t matter at all. We have seen bitcoins rise from literally zero and turn into a high-value digital asset. So yes, we have patience and will hold the bitcoins as long as we can. Hence, we will make the most profit out of it.

Most long-time holders are financially capable as they can afford to wait for years without touching their coins.
They are the fortunate ones as they don't have to worry about the roller-coaster ride in the market that you can see everyday.
Also, they are mostly firm believers on this market. Because if you have no strong conviction that this market will pull off in the future,
you won't leave your funds into this market. So they are just waiting for the right timing to earn their profits.
Whereas, for short-term traders, they are after for the profits that they can get so they can turn around their initial funds.
Usually, they want a fast pace environment just like the crypto trading, because for them, waiting is vain and waste of time.
664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chipstars - Hybrid Casino (Crypto & Fiat) on: July 17, 2023, 12:12:23 PM
I thought this is a new casino, but I'm wrong you've been here since 2 years ago.

I've checked your casino, there are various game selections, the UI/UX is good and you're licensed too. I think it's already enough to convince people to gamble in your casino, but there are not many users discuss in your thread. I think you're lack of advertisement and marketing strategy to make people know about your brands.

Hello Jawhead999,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We're glad you appreciate our platform and game selection. You're right about marketing - we've been focusing on community building and customer service, but we've neglected this thread. However, we are now here and available to answer any questions and provide support to all of our amazing Bitcoiners! (and other Altcoiners). We are actively working on onboarding as many players as possible and feedback like yours is welcome!

If you have more suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Thanks for your active involvement!

Their casino and sportsbook are actually in place already, better than most newcomers.
Maybe, users from the forum are not noticing this thread because they were not very active and has no existing sig campaign.
As we have observed, a lot of familiar gambling sites in the forum are running their respective campaigns, which the team may want to consider.
Their site is pretty much established already as they have gambling license also, so this would not be hard to sell to the gamblers in the forum.
The deposit bonus for me is one of the attractive features of this site and also the tournaments.
So far, they have pretty good reviews in trustpilot - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/chipstars.bet. Now, we need reviews from regular gamblers here.  Tongue
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 16, 2023, 09:58:55 PM
But how are these people recognized by just Thier physical appearance? Isn't it more convincing when they know Thier lifestyle which would possibly take a long while?? - Assuming it's their first time in that casino house..
Secondly, casino owners don't even give a heck who's wagering thier funds - except the person involved is underage... All they need is enough profit at the end of the day...
Thirdly, the main interest when online casinos were developed was to ease the stress of moving up and down to either book games or claim winnings...

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

I believe these days, gender is not important anymore when it comes to going inside a land-based casino.
Time is changing and people are getting used to different lifestyles, different approach in life.
And yes, owners don't care about your gender preference, so long you are not making any trouble and spending your own money.
Maybe, if you go into a casino in a fairly remote area, where people knew each other, there will be talks behind your back.
But if you are going to a casino in the city, this kind of worry goes away. People are also changing their mindset when it comes to this aspect.
666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto. on: July 16, 2023, 09:43:40 PM
This wasn't said in there but it doesn't really crack into top 10 to be fair so I can understand why its not there. But do not get into trading when you are already dealing with a problem. It doesn't matter what it is, maybe you heard someone you love got sick, maybe you had a fight with a friend or wife or someone you care about, maybe you just lost in a computer game in an unfair way, yes even that because even the smallest and most unimportant things could matter to your mind, some people won't care about that, and some people would be incredibly mad. This is why its quite important that you do not deal with any baggage when you start trading, if you do then its a problem for you without a doubt.

That is true, better trade when you have clear mind and you now what you are doing.
If there are excess baggage in your mind and you are not focus on what is in front of you, you can easily make mistakes.
Also, before executing your trade, you should have done your analysis why you are doing such trade.
If you have no time to assess things, better pause and come back when you are ready. Don't rush yourself on this activity.

667  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: July 16, 2023, 08:34:35 PM
I have taken a look at your website but unfortunately it seems to be made up of only a single page with the message that the website is still being worked on, so I cannot vouch for the legitimacy of any games that you may have to offer. I do like the retro yellow look which you have adopted for your signatures as well as for your brand marketing. The bright yellow color really lures in everyone's attention.

I hope that you will be active in the community as well as fair. Please note that the Bitcointalk community can be very strict and always has an eye out for even tiny details. So it is in your best interest to maintain a squeaky clean reputation!
That's kinda late but they will surely appreciate it. For now, it's normal to see a single page because like you said, the site is being re-constructed but when it's done, there will be other pages where you will be redirected once you click its contents. They have that kind of design on their signatures because that was also the theme of their gambling site. It was indeed great even though it is only simple.

We appreciate it because we are into old school or retro stuffs but for some modern kids, I'm not sure if they will have the same impression. OP is replying here sometimes. I guess that is fine than nothing at all. They should welcome any criticism that they will receive and use it to improve their site more. Nothing is perfect so to have that squeaky-clean reputation is not possible.

As long as there is no complaints yet on their site, they won't be judged by the people.
But when they start their operations again, they need to be aggressive as people can easily hop from one gambling site to another.
Sustaining their players is hard as people want to try new things these days. If they are not satisfied and happy, they will just move on to the next.
By the way, they should have paused their sig campaign while they are fixing the site. Well, if they don't worry the funds, that's fine.

damn, sour memories on the name thats for sure

I apologize for invoking past memories. My sincere intention is to restore the prominence of that name within the crypto community, emphasizing its positive contributions once more.  Smiley

That's what I was thinking when I encountered this thread, I though someone revive the old site.
They should have think of another domain name. A lot of old timers had bad experience on that site.
People may forget, but it would take time before they will build their credibility on this market.
Getting traders is hard at the start as people would be hesitant to deposit their coins on your site.
So you need to create activities that will attract them to trust their coins on your platform, and make sure they will get it back without hiccup.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 06:56:30 PM
It's unlikely that much money laundering actually takes place through online casinos, at least not the major ones, because the way they've been structured actually makes it a lot easier to trace than you might think. Pretty much every big site now will also be enforcing kyc type actions on a regular basis, so any fake accounts will be detected after a minimum threshold and mule accounts are going to be reported to the tax or government authorities if there is the slightest suspicion. There are many other sites sitting in grey areas that are likely to be doing this stuff instead of casino's.

They can get away with it if the money involved is small, however, if the money is significant enough, the site may really ask for KYC.
And that will possibly happen for gambling sites with license as they need to comply with their AML/KYC policy.
I still believe that most money laundering activities still do happen via fiat-based transactions.
But we can't totally discard the idea that some of them are already happening in crypto casinos.
Some casinos are only requiring 1-5x wagering requirements before withdrawal, so yes, that would be easy to comply with.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: July 15, 2023, 09:59:08 PM
I'm not surprised that this is happening, especially in sports federation and organizations that are handled by the government. There's just too much corruption going around these days that every single thing is riddled with it. It is Cameroon's loss, as we can see that Mbappe is really shining in his current team. His potential was honed, skills sharpened, and talent used.

In relatively rich countries, they can afford to pay for everything that their sports team needs, hence why France made Mbappe play without paying anything. But even then, poor countries should still allocate something for the development of their sports program and not charge aspirants in playing for their country.

That's the sad reality of life, not only in sports but other industries as well.
Some people are getting their position owed to bribery, as there will be officials that are prone to corruption.
But if you are good enough, you will find your way to achieve what you want in life, just like Mbappe.
He proved that he has the skills but is now representing other country, which is willing to accept him even without the bribe.
It is like a slap in the face for those people that who didn't accept him because he had no money. That's a good revenge though.
671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Retiring on bitcoin on: July 15, 2023, 09:52:55 PM
For how long are you going to invest in BTC until retiring yourself? How much $ are you going to invest every fixed periods of time? Will the investment be made every week, month or once in a year? How much does a retired person has as monthly income to live with dignity in your country?

Those are essential informations you must provide before we can start talking about this subject. And they are really the essential ones, because there are extra factors we can't predict for sure how they will impact on a retirement BTC plan futurely, especially regards BTC price's volatility.

This topic is very subjective as there are many factors in play when it comes to retirement.
How many years from now is your retirement? What kind of living you are looking forward to when you retire?
Just couple of questions that you need to ask yourself. But you need to remember, you should have other tangible assets that you can fall back into.
Because this market has uncertainties and we can't fully rely on this as the sole source of your retirement savings.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 14, 2023, 09:57:46 PM
Yes it is good to join bitcoin signal group because it will help you to trade and invest. I have been in a trading signal group and those experts in the group were given us information to go about anytime when the time of trading has come. The group was good, but not all the groups are good nto join there are some that are there to do the opposite. So be careful when joining them.

Lucky for you that you found a valuable trading group that you can say, worth it.
Nowadays, it is hard to find a crypto trading signal group that is worth your time and resources.
If you are not sure about the group, better watch and observe about the tips that they are sharing to the group.
You will know if the tips are legit if you can see that it is indeed happening in the market trade.
There may be lapses a lil bit, but there should be at least correct signal/s that you think are valid.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 14, 2023, 09:35:59 PM
I heard of a story about two gamblers that got into a serious fight on the grounds that a bet they merged an amount of money equally to place  using the online account of one person among their two. Luckily for them the bet won. But something happened, when it got to the sharing formula of the total amount won the owner of the account  insisted on taking a lion's share since it was his account that was used in placing the bet. The latter refusing to accept it that way they got into a serious fight. How pathetic!

But, in my opinion, the source of these conflicts is a fairly straightforward problem that can be resolved within them. And beside they are also friends, so this is not a problem, I think, and because they each gave the same sum of money, why shouldn't they split it equally without conflict? Oh my God, what if they lost the game? Would he have to reimburse him since they used his account? I don't think he would. Therefore, I'm shocked that he's seeking to take the lion's part of this only because he used his account to place a bet.

Quote
And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.

However, if I didn't have a gambling account online, I would go to a betting shop to put my bet and have a ticket for hand, so that if the game comes, I can go there and collect my money in person. I can't use anyone's account to place a bet because I want the money to be large. The ability of money to make man do anything now makes it possible to prevent these kinds of disputes or confrontations.

It means, he is not friend after all as he changed his decisions when he saw the money coming in in his account.
If you are a true friend in the first place, you would respect whatever the agreement was.
Win or lose, you will keep your word with your friend. But the OP's story is not new, as most people have greed inside.
And if I am in the situation, I will fight with that person and tell him to respect what has been agreed in the first place.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: July 14, 2023, 08:38:24 PM
Welcome to the forum MoneyPot. Just went through the site quickly and it seems you have simple UI which makes it easy to understand. I never knew that Bankroll concept works like this and I learnt it from the bankroll section on the site.

The rules are simple, you just stake your bitcoins and your profits are based on how much users profit or lose over the period of time. I tried the calculator to see how much I can earn from the bankroll and the numbers are just nice in terms of profitability.

I am not sure if someone has already tried this from the forum or not but would be great if someone just vouch this so that we can proceed safely. Good luck everyone.

The site is relatively new here, so more than likely, players from here are just trying to play for now and not sending money to the bankroll.
But if they are true to their figures on their site, having about 37.5 BTC for a new site is not bad.
It means, they are attracting some investors here, though we don't know how much BTC the team put into their own vault.
For now, better observe how they are getting some online players as you can view the number on their site itself as well as their dashboard.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 07:57:24 PM
What you said op is correct about the opinions you mentioned, but as others have said, that is not easy to do especially if a gambler has been playing in a casino for a long time. Because of course they are used to that routine gambling, so what will happen is that they will have an adjustment time for the routine they are used to. But when they are also used to that, for sure that will improve the situation of what they will do as a responsible gambler for sure in the end.
i also think so, it is almost impossible to change the habits of someone who gambles very often, especially if the person is able to manage his gambling properly (people are easy to talk about but in fact making drastic changes is very difficult)

This reason is what makes me prefer the invitation to encourage a heavy gambler to be more responsible for the gambling he is doing, self-control and not having big ambitions in gambling is one example of responsible gambling. There is no point in pursuing victory at gambling, but in fact it is make things difficult for yourself.

We are beings of habit, if we are accustomed to habits and anything, we can also get used to it, not because of this our life will collapse or become evident so that things do not happen as we want, in all cases we can get used to other activities, you just have to create the habit and to create it you need to repeat it for 21 days, which is the average time that the human being acquires an activity as a habit, you can take discipline and everything that comes from then on, but it is not something impossible, because if it is possible, we have to get into the head of possible things.

Starting a habit depends on the will of the person, if he is determined to accomplish something for himself without the intervention of others.
It is hard from the start, but once you form such a habit, you will reap the rewards and you will feel satisfied for yourself.
Know your goals in life and contemplate on how bad you want those things for you. Because you alone will be responsible to accomplish such things.
There will be others that may possibly assist you, your family or close friends, but the will to change will still come from you.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 13, 2023, 09:56:24 PM
It's finally happening I just knew it was going to happen after the Usyk negotiation collapsed, Joshua and another Wilder fight are not attractive and profitable, he's been talking about this option and Ngannou is very much willing to sit down and have it done, both fighters have very long inactivity but that doesn't mean that both fighters cannot give us an entertaining fight.
I'm sure Fury will get the biggest share of the deal since he is the champion and the one that will attract attention since this is a boxing match Fury will be the overwhelming favorite because Ngannou's expertise inside the ring is more on grappling and he lacks ring generalship in boxing because we all know MMA fighters are flatfooted.
I can't wait to see the media promotion it is going to be Fury all over and will do all the talking just like he always does in all his previous fights
News has it that Francis Ngannou will be paid more for his Tyson Fury clash. Not as you might have assumed(Tyson Fury having the biggest share).

The amount of money to be given to Francis Ngannou at the end of the clash will be bigger than all the UFC fight combined. That's the funniest part of it.

Whether Tyson Fury beats Francis Ngannou in 3rd or 4th around of the clash as the champion of boxing, Francis Ngannou will still walk away with a large sum of money, more than all of the UFC fights combined, according to Francis Ngannou's management.
Link source: https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/1496508/francis-ngannou-paid-tyson-fury-ufc-fight/amp/

I read somewhere it's 50M guaranteed for Fury and 20M for Ngannou. This is besides the money to be earned AFAIK. 20M is more than the amount of money that Ngannou earn in all his UFC career. So even if he loses this fight, it is way worth it for first timer boxer.

And it could be right that he may not win actually. Fury is a champ in the heavyweight division and has all the skills to outsmart Ngannou. His footwork alone will not give Ngannou any advantage. Ngannou has a lot to learn but its good that the schedule is still months away.

Win or lose, Ngannou is already a winner when it comes to his purse earnings for this fight.
It maybe a cherry pick for Fury, but who knows, Ngannou will show a toe-to-toe fight because he wants to show a good one.
At least, not give disappointment to boxing fans, and maybe, get another good fight in the boxing sports.
Clearly, Fury is the favorite here. But we can't totally disregard the possibility of upset.
But I am happy for Ngannou here, earning good amount of money in boxing in just one fight as compared to all the years of his hard work on his UFC career
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEP20 OR ERC20? Preferred token on: July 13, 2023, 09:29:00 PM
Personally i avoid erc20 now because they have larger gas fees. Besides many good projects new or old who are now following bep20 network due to which many investors are now adopting bep20 network. Moreover, they may follow a new system to reduce the gass fees of erc20 network.

The gas fee for Ethereum is only cost 2.8$ or 69 gwei which already cheap considering how expensive it was when the Ethereum network still use PoW as their protocol. Many new big project still building on Ethereum and just do a crosschaim version on BSC since Ethereum blockchain is still the number source of liquidity for dapps project.

BSC is only good because it has cheaper fee but it's centralized feature makes this blockchain very dangerous when they are under attack. Ethereum network is still the best especially that there's a lot of side chain building to resolve scalability issue.

Bottomline is, whatever network a project will choose, the success depends on the project itself.
If it has no use case, the lifespan will be short no matter what network it has been deployed at.
But if the foundation is rock solid and will find a massive use case in the market, it will grow regardless of the network.
BSC may be cheaper but ETH is still the popular one. Either way, as long as your project is useful, people will use your token if it is profitable and useful for them.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: July 12, 2023, 09:51:19 PM
well everyone has its own faith and belief as this is our own money so Hoping that all your decision will make you at least 2x richer when the bull happens as I for my love and faith in bitcoin is seeking for complete x3 after couple of years holding.
how many of us that will get this return and how many will lose, this is something we need to understand and accept once it happened.
That's the thing about the market, we all think that we are right or at least we hope that we are right. I believe that Bitcoin is clearly the better one and there is absolutely no way that XRP would outperform it, there is absolutely no way at all. Does that means I am doing a good job at all? We wouldn't know, maybe I am right and I will make a lot of money thanks to it, or maybe I am wrong and XRP will do better, only time will show us.

Of course it's normal to expect a situation like bitcoin being a lot more important and better, but that doesn't mean that we are going to be right. I just hope that it's going to be different, and that's why it's quite important. This works for all the coins, not just these two, and can be considered different.

Each one of us can decide where to invest our money, and it is our prerogative what coins we can hold.
Some are holding XRP thinking that it will give him profits later on, well, it is his money anyway.
We have our own choice on where to invest our funds, but it is also our responsibility to do our due diligence.
Because whatever that may happen to your holdings will be on you, and you can't blame anyone.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 11, 2023, 09:58:29 PM
Marketing is an important key to a successful business, if your products is seen in various ways of advertisement then you need to worry less because that will speak to your customers and bring more customers to you. However, small business lack the idea of marketing their product in a smaller way through social media but I think that nowadays youths makes use of social media to advertise their stuffs than before.

It is only agricultural produce that don't need marketing because it is part of our basic needs. The good thing with marketing is that it creates awareness for people both far and near.

Lucky that we are in the digital age today, you can very well use social media platforms to market your services or products for free.
Before, companies are spending tons of money with their ads. Now, even small time businesses can easily launch their product via social media channel.
And at the same time, make sure your customers will be satisfied with your services or products.
Because once they are happy about it, word of mouth is a powerful tool in marketing, which is free as well.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 11, 2023, 09:37:46 PM
This is boxing. Tyson Fury is a boxer. Francis Ngannou is a MMA fighter. Who is going to win? Tyson Fury is just still the superior while Francis Ngannou do not have boxing skills, he will just train for it, although there is time for that but I see him as the underdog.

Yes, but there are still hype around this fight though. Maybe what people want is how Francis can be at boxing because of the power he shows in the MMA. But as you have, Tyson is a boxer and so he has all the tools to offset the power that Francis possesses.

Fury was able to withstand Wilder's knockout punch, he went to the canvass and was able to recover in the first fight. But in the second he adjusted so well that Fury's can't hit him clean. In paper this is good, but Tyson is more superior, but good for Francis, as he will get his biggest pay.

No doubt, bookies will favor Fury when it comes to odds. He has the advantage when it comes to boxing.
We will see if Francis is up to boxing, he may discover that he will like this sports and may continue later on.
At least, get some money out of this before he is out of any sports. But Tyson should be cautious about the power punch from Ngannou.
He can be knock out if he is not careful inside the ring. Remember, upsets can happen all the time.
