561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to use Bitcoin or crypto? on: August 19, 2023, 11:54:29 PM
I mean, I do get paid in Bitcoin for services however I find it better to convert it to USD right away. For those days where I wanted to buy Bitcoin and DCA, I simply but it from the converted USDT. I do not like to keep it in Bitcoin, if we talk about a pay. It's just one more layer of step to be done and I don't think so this should be widely accepted by any company to pay their employees in Crypto. For now, let's just keep it going with Fiat or USDT.

That's helpful if you don't want to remember if you are on the losing or gaining side, convert your crypto to USDT.
The adoption will highly depend if the employees in general are agreeing to this initiative.
Otherwise, they will stick to their traditional means of payment method and not bother about crypto.
But the company can always create an option, depending on their stance on this market.
562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 19, 2023, 11:19:44 PM
I truly believe that if we manage to build a casino hand in hand with the players, we can get it off the ground without a large amount of capital. Then in order to scale it will require more capital but online casinos are renowned to be substantially profitable which means you can bankroll your growth without relying on external funding. You're right I thing opening a new thread might be a better idea if I want feedback from the players on what they'd like to improve.

If you have enough funds to run the site and supplement the bankroll by having the capability to pay huge winners then I think you don't need to rely on external funding.  But if you are limiting in the budget, there is no harm to race crowdfunding in order to make the finances of the planned casino stable.  You just need to create a justifiable deal for these investors.

Other creates token sales, or NFT sales that have an in-casino effect such as boosting rakeback, boosting cashback, and more (see Rollbit on how they do it)

Hard to collect funds from crowdsourcing these days, so it is better to look for private investors instead.
If you truly believe that your project is quite strong, this would be easy to pitch with potential investors.
But if you can't even convince one investor, then, better think of your choices here because you maybe are wasting your time.
And even if you have enough funds, but lack of knowledge about this business, still no assurance that you will attain success.
Think of the people that will get involved in your project, a solo project is not advisable for long-term considerations.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are physical exchanges in your neighborhood. on: August 19, 2023, 08:38:47 PM
I still see way more dangerous physically going to some store to buy bitcoin rather than doing it online. If you go to a store everybody sees you, they may even follow you home to check if you live in a small apartment of if you have a big house, they see what type of car you drive and with all those information it's easy to guess how much money you may have.
The truth is that,  I always question this kind of statement where users make such assumption that bitcoin could be bought at a physical exchange,  because everything about Bitcoin is done digitally so the privacy is still there despite visiting a physical exchange it doesn't really means you are totally at risk of security challenges.

Although the best way to buy your bitcoin os through an exchange and have them transferred to your personal wallet,  visiting a physical exchange increase your risks of security but then also depends on your location because some of the bitcoin p2p exchange are unbranded and have other business running in the same environment so no one can really tell what you went in to do.

I believe, physical crypto-exchanges are not very common because if you are in this market, more than likely, you are transacting via digital ways.
Because you will find out soon that the convenience and the fees involved are relatively cheaper than we you visit a local physical crypto-exchange.
You may opt for this option if you are in a tight position where you have no access online and the only choice is to go to this physical exchange.
And also, most crypto-exchanges are operating online. It would be easy to find an online exchange rather than a physical one. There's too much hassle visiting one.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 18, 2023, 09:59:23 PM
Tron is the first name which comes to my mind as it has always been disappointment for me though I had given multiple chances but it failed miserably. It's better to go BNB and other top coin instead of Tron as the dev team is least bothered about further enhancement
.

TRX and XRP for me, not for long-term investments because their platforms are shrouded by uncertainty.
But don't get me wrong, I like both of these alts when it comes to transfer purposes because they are cheap.
Their availability in most trading platforms is also a very good choice when it comes to transfer and trading purposes.
However, because of SEC issues and all, it is hard to consider them for long-term holding.
You can't guarantee that when you forget that you have these alts for years, they will be here and increasing its value.
565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Navigating Bitcoin's Price Plunge: What Awaits Next? on: August 18, 2023, 09:40:04 PM
Well from the looks of things its not having a good day neither, a fall after a fall is always a bad indicator, it can fall once and that's not really a shocking deal, but from 29k to 27k already happened, and then it went from 27k to 26k levels as well. However, each fall brings us closer to a bull run as well, we all know that it will have a bull run so all we need to do is wait, the more it falls, the closer we get. Of course we can pass this period without going down as well, it can just stay the way it is, but that doesn't mean that we will never have any drops. So long story short, we are going to end up with a result where it will definitely have a problem if it doesn't fall and just accept that this is going to get better in the future.

This is just one of the hurdles in bitcoin market that I think can easily be surpassed.
Even if we say Musk's SpaceX company sold multi-million dollars worth of bitcoins, the plunge actually is not bad.
Because if this move was really huge, we can easily go down to 20k and below, so this won't last too long.
It can easily goes up as whales will try to get a hold of these cheaper bitcoins in the market.
So if have strong indication that anytime we will go up even to 30k level, you already have your profit when we go back to that price.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 18, 2023, 09:04:43 PM
^
If there are any boxers approaching the two billionaires, it will more likely be about representing them in a fight which the 2 billionaires will be happy to host and make money out of these boxers. And what is at stake is probably what the billionaires are going to discuss.

Assuming the two really agreed to fight, I don't see a point for boxers opposing the fight to happen when we have seen influencers and onlyfans girls fighting. But the physicians of Zucker and Elon will probably find an excuse for both not to fight just like Elon undergoing surgery.

Maybe Zuckerberg is serious about his newfound urge of getting into the ring to test his skills. But this nerd billionaire was late to realize that he was only trolled or being tripped by Elon Musk. And we know Elon is also good at trolling and making some stuff that can trend online.

Seriously though if people are following Zuck, Elon, and the fighting community and its media; Zuck is constantly training for over a year or even earlier. So it doesn't make sense for Musk to make the challenge serious other than getting attention once again. And greedy Dana White thought he can set the fight thru his UFC. Cheesy

Zuckerberg may be serious of putting up a fight with Musk, but yes, Musk may just be all talks and doesn't really want to go inside the ring.
But for sure this exhibition fight will fetch a lot of spectators because they are known personalities. However, it seems that Musk is just trolling here.
We may be just here for long discussion but this won't happen in reality because one camp is not so serious in making it happen.
But this potential match even not a professional one is actually gaining attention from the media and boxing fans, after all, they are two of the wealthiest people on earth right now.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 18, 2023, 08:33:18 PM
Bitcoin has captured the center of attention, especially with the younger generations showing keen interest in it. Yet, there are those who believe that teaching older individuals about it might not be a wise investment of time. However, we must ponder: does it carry value? This conversation revolves around the question of whether it's worthwhile to educate older generations about bitcoin.

If Bitcoin is created as an alternative to fiat currency, that shows that everyone can make use of it. So nothing is wrong for anyone of any age to learn about Bitcoin, but the only thing that is wrong is that we should not force anyone to learn about it, so if people of any age are interested in learning about Bitcoin, I will encourage people to teach them. It is not even a good idea not to carry old age and children along with the system, old age can also play a very important role in bitcoin adoption. But the truth is that many old people nowadays are not used to the internet, and when someone tries to teach them, it is always hard for them to understand the development of technology easily.

The good thing about this market is everyone is welcome, and they can learn how to deal or make their first transaction just by self-study online.
There are so many online tutorials now, so if you happen that you don't want to teach anyone, you are not the only source on this market.
This is the advantage of this digital age, you can practically find anything over the net. Just make sure use small funds when you are testing something.
This is why the older generation can always find a way how to learn this market just by hitting the search button. This is no rocket science.
Every user here is important, young or old, as the more people will participate on this market, the better for the demand factor of this crypto market.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Events, Testnet Events is not an investment! on: August 17, 2023, 10:00:27 PM
Well, it will not be the norm now to have these $10k airdrop narratives, but I guess that was just one messed up airdrop and the SEI team didn't handle it well. Probably it's an eye opener to everyone that it's not always sunshine for these airdrops and testnet events and only a handful airdrops will incentivized you for good.

For those newcomers, they need to face the reality that airdrops are not their savior nor should be the reason to uplift their economic status.
The situation is now different as compared in the early days of airdrops. You can truly earn good money from airdrops way way back.
I remember the days when the tokens you can get from these airdrops can easily be raded in etherdelta. And now, even ED is dead already.
Instead of chasing these free coins or tokens, better yet, improve your trading skills, look for actual job, or invest in top alts.
Most of the time, you will just be wasting time looking for these airdrops. If such time will be used for other valuable activities, you may get something positive out of it.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 17, 2023, 09:21:28 PM
That's the only criticism leveled at Inoue, despite him being a great boxer. I read an article stating that Floyd wants to see Inoue fight in the US. This country offers better opportunities for boxers like him, and he could also find better challengers in a larger market. I suppose he needs to accept that challenge to silence those who believe Inoue's victories are due to his fights being mainly in Japan.

I've also come across rumors about Inoue potentially fighting Tank Davis at a catch weight. I think that could be lucrative for both fighters. However, the question remains, do both of them see this as an opportunity?

Maybe if Inoue wins some big-time knockout like he did against his last opponent in the US will probably raise his status among boxers and eventually, he will be invited to fight in the Middle East as well which we know the amount of the payment is hard to resist at all. As for fighting Tank Davis, it could be the best challenge for both of them since they are now at their prime and to miss this legendary fight would be a total waste because we have never seen such two fighters be able to come across again in both eras. now is the time to fight after they are finished with one fight because that's just how they are right now, easily winning fights and getting those belts easily as well.

In my opinion, fighting on the US soil for Inoue is not far from happening.
With his name getting popular among boxing fans, it is only a matter of time before we see him on that stage.
And his promoter will have a very big influence on how he will negotiate such event to happen.
Sometimes it is up to the promoter how his boxer will move forward with his boxing career.
So for me, this will happen very soon. But of course, he can still get a lucrative fight even not on US soil.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 17, 2023, 08:38:52 PM
The reality of everything is that you should have a side job that won't require you to tamper with your bitcoin investment. There is a chance that you will be forced to sell your bitcoin assets whether you make a profit or not when you actually have no other source of income and your country's poor economy is severely affecting you. In these circumstances, selling your bitcoin is the only option. I stated this because I've been in a scenario like this before, and I understand what it's like when someone needs something personally and has no other way to acquire or solve them. The only available course of action for him will be to sell his bitcoin assets

That is one smart thing to do, look for side jobs that can augment your other expenses.
If you think your main job is not sufficient, better get one. As it will help you in achieving some of your goals,
not relying entirely from your main job. It will also give you room to consider some long-term investments.
This economic conditions may further worsen, so you need to prepare yourself for the worst, and not
rely from government help because you can't expect them to address each and every need of their citizen.
571  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there a site where you can withdraw without deposit? on: August 16, 2023, 09:44:42 PM
Are there sites where you can actually withdraw coins? I mean gambling sites. It doesn't have to be a lot of money, but I used to have the impression that there were more sites like this and it was much easier to withdraw free money. I know there is freebitcoin that gives you free btc every hour, duckdice is also a faucet - do you know any other sites you can recommend?
Even I do know of any of such gambling sites I won't dare waste my time on it because nothing free about gambling sites that ends up in favour of the customer. The barricades (conditions) that ought to be met for eligible withdraw is time consuming and most times not possible. One thing I understand about those free bitcoins is thay it's a market strategy used in attracting clients to make use of their gambling sites without having to use your personal money which the likelihood is that after being unlucky exhausting the free token you might wanna fund the account to continue making use eventually real gambling has kicked off in that aspect. Lol.

Aside from freebitco, before betfury has several free boxes (faucets) that you can collect and you can even withdraw if you attain their min withdrawal for that coin.
However, they only have free btc (with real value) and they changed the rank to get free btc to rank 2, which you need about 3k USDT wagered to achieve such level.
I guess, the terms of getting these free coins are changing as there are some abusers. But I can say, if you have other options to earn, don't waste too much time on collecting these free coins because it is not worth your time.
The OP should look for other money making activities, rather than lurk for freebies here. The situation now is very different than early days of crypto.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: August 16, 2023, 08:58:01 PM
Online gambling is a billion dollar industry. Even the country that doesn't have the perfect regulatory compliance makes billion dollar revenue. This is the reason we were able to see countries that doesn't ban gambling completely.
Gambling is now a common game.  So now almost most of the people in the age group of 15-50 are addicted to gambling. Especially the youth are deeply addicted to it.  All gamblers are losing money gambling and the gambling industry is taking in billions of dollars.  The gambling industry is so addictive that people who are addicted to gambling lose control over themselves. So it can be said that the gambling industry is very big now. on the other hand, Gamblers are completely destitute

And with what we have in the past couple of years, the pandemic era, a lot for sure have gone into online gambling for entertainment.
But the positive side on this is that the government are earning their income from this business. And are using to improve their services.
However, the younger generation should be very careful in getting addicted as it can easily ruin their lives if not contained early.
Definitely, the gaming/gambling industry is getting big. Just look at how many casinos are being launched everyday.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price gets to $60k this year? on: August 16, 2023, 08:08:16 PM
Since the bull is gradually rising, I'd it will reduce the level of inflation controls and policies that will favour the bulls. It will encourage more buy by investors and big time entrepreneurs, surprisely this year bitcoin would have records more subscribers and price stabilities. Looking at many countries revolution of bitcoin like New Zealand, US, El Salvador, China, Africa and so on, if this countries can possibly readjust policies to favour bitcoin by mid year, it will experience excess rising.

But the question is; is it possible for bitcoin to reach $60k by this year? No serious bulls happening currently and if it continues in this little increase probably it will not get anywhere close to $60k. Share your views.
Almost every investor has been waiting for the moment of Bitcoin. Bitcoin will definitely be bullish when that time comes. The number of institutional investors is relatively more than ordinary investors, and on the other hand, various positive news of Bitcoin use is coming from different countries, as a result, Bitcoin will be stronger than before, which will definitely surpass the previous ath and a new ath will be created. Bitcoin is likely to hit $45k by the end of this year. Since it is currently priced at around $30k, if the price rises by 50 percent this year, I think the price of Bitcoin is likely to rise to $45,000 and it is not difficult.

The problem here is that a lot are waiting for that moment but they are not preparing for what's to come.
If they have the feeling that btc will go up or be bullish, then, what are they doing now to take advantage of the opportunity?
The status of this market is getting stronger as more and more companies are trying to get a hold of these coins.
Even if we can't reach the ATH this year, the likelihood of seeing the market price to go up is always there as adoption is increasing.
Worry if no one is joining or talking about the crypto market. But so far, more countries, more companies and more people are getting interested.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumors spread that SBF is tied to the $BALD rugpull on: August 15, 2023, 09:56:13 PM
It's just a rumor and can't really prove it at all.

No need SBF to scam us, It's meme token already got a predictable move. Most of them will ending (0, scam, or abandoned) once reached the all-time high. So, without SBF we already got already potential lose.

If you trading meme token.

Whether he is tied on this project or not, better be scrutinizing every token that you will get involved with.
It won't be a surprise if he is part of it though. However, each project has the tendency to rugpull.
You have no valid proof if he is into this project. But we can always move on and find valuable ones.
There are a lot more scammers other than SBF. Remember, most of them are anonymous.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 14, 2023, 06:36:59 PM
I think you're right. Some people always lose in gambling because they don't have plan. just play, play, bet, bet. If they lose, bet twice
so they can take back what they lost and then after that the money will be gone so fast. Because Winning in gambling is instant and of course you be will lose quickly too. I know gambling it's very easy to win or get money but you should know how to control yourself, control your emotions.

Mindset is very important and powerful when it comes to gambling don't be too greedy
and think wisely and carefully. Always set limitation for yourself

This is the usual emotion of most gamblers, being greedy. That's human nature we can't totally avoid.
But such degree of emotion varies from person to person. Some people are good in handling themselves as they stick to their plans.
It is like, win or lose on the next game, they know they need to stop. Those are gamblers who knows when to stop and hold themselves.
Most of the time, those people are not addicted as they can contain themselves from possible addiction. Not many gamblers can do that.
Thank yourself if you are a gambler who can still contain emotions when it comes to your gambling activities, it means you won't go broke on this game.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 14, 2023, 03:37:48 PM
Here in our country, there are casinos owned by our government that operate legally under the charity program, such as lottery and casino pagcor, when it comes to private gambling and there are also many that are legally allowed by our government even online .

it's just that there are others online here among us who run illegally or operate illegally, there are a lot of them here especially on social media platforms that are endorsed by well-known influencers in our country that I think the others don't know that it's illegal because after influencers only pay them for what they promote. so poor their other followers who follow and believe in them.
If it were for charity, the lottery would get government approval even though it is gambling. And many other examples can link the lottery with something that is allowed by the government so that people can buy tickets freely.

But it is true that illegal casinos are still operating, making it difficult for the government to track them down. And that's what allows people to gamble freely in these illegal casinos. But its whereabouts are not easy to trace because only a few gamblers know where it is.

Lottery are indeed a very good source of income for the government to cater those who are in need.
I am not against with this type of gambling as it can really attract a lot of bettors, and at the same time,
they can help the government to raise funds. Maybe a lot of people are hoping to hit the jackpot, hence the number of bettors.
But yes, we can't totally eradicate illegal sites as there are bettors who are still using it for personal reasons such as
avoiding taxes, anonymity, and other reasons they think are avoided using legal gambling sites.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 14, 2023, 01:33:35 PM
~~
I think that person do not only suffer from being drugged as what the family claims, but most probably he is also suffering from being mentally ill, perhaps because of his gambling addiction that made him lose a lot and lost his right thinking. Because let's face the reality that no matter how drunk a person is, if he is not mentally ill, he will not do any shameless act that will surely make him regret the day after that.

If you read the link shared by the OP carefully, you will have a little idea about what is related to the case that happened to this man. according to The New York post, this guy was in Las Vegas just for the bachelorette party. which means, he is not playing gambling but more to celebrate something with his friends. I just want to be a neutral reader, with reference to this link. that there wasn't a single piece of news that led to the gambling he was doing, apart from a screenshot of a naked man twirling from a poker table. the rest, the essence of the news is that this man has been drugged until in the end he starts to become paranoid and act irrationally.

Referring to what you said, the fact is that we can only assume and speculate without knowing the real truth. there is also the info shared by the OP, not telling details related to what happened. but it would be very natural, if there were various responses and opinions from the community. but in my personal opinion, that this case is not related to gambling. yep, because after all I have to refer to the news sources shared by the OP. besides as far as my experience and knowledge, as drunk as someone is, rarely do actions that are beyond common sense. except, this man consumed something that made him do something abnormal. my conclusion, I stick to the references provided by the link the OP shared. which means, something that happened to this man had nothing to do with gambling.

When I read the article related to this, no mention about being mentally ill or of that sort.
He was drugged and I believe that's the reason why he did such embarrassing act.
That is true, he was only there for the bachelor party and his wife was 33 weeks pregnant at that time.
So I don't think, he's mentally ill to have a wife who was currently pregnant and is about to start his family.
But after this news, no follow-up regarding the case. Maybe, the family settled this quietly.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 13, 2023, 09:55:39 PM
Elon Musk has responded to Mark Zuckerberg’s latest post by calling him a chicken. I actually had to double check to make sure this is real.

https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1690834577219002368

It is real. This is seemingly in response to Xuck claiming that Elon is not serious when Elon requested that they spar in Mark’s cage. Mark says Elon isn’t real about fighting, Elon says Mark is a coward… Interesting times.

This is 5D chess  Grin
Before this tweet, I thought that Musk was just trolling Zuckerberg in order to show his stupidity (Zuckerberg's big involvement in savage fun), but now I again lost the logical thread by which all this could be connected. It remains only to wait and see how it all ends, because we must see some result - too many preparations have been made.

Now Elon has said that he’s knocking on Zuckerberg’s door tomorrow and demanding a fight. This is insanity. Elon is going to end up getting himself arrested. Once again, I had to check to even make sure Elon’s tweet was real. Once again, it is.

https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1690837333107511298

I must say that I love Elon as a troll, but this is starting to feel like bullying to me, which is not really cool.

Well, we don't know if this is his tactic to earn more viewers of their potential exhibition fight.
Who knows, he's just testing waters here and see what reaction he will get from the public?
The tweet is very short and yet, it keeps people discussing about their fight, so yes, he gets the attention here.
And yes, a very good troll. Let's see how far he will get into this seemingly bullying tweet towards Zuck.
I hope they will finally give us a date so people will have another entertainment to look forward to.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 13, 2023, 09:31:33 PM
While there could be a big change for betting in sports through AI. I just want to go with the traditional one which I prefer since I'm used to it. Maybe sooner or later the changes through AI in all of its forms including gambling will also be adopted eventually. But I just can't feel it right now because I'm all for the typical setup that we're having. Maybe, just like in chatbox where there's an AI and you want to cast a bet and that's it. It will be recorded automatically and you'll be able to cast bets with simple types of words. That's how it is going to change but then, as long as there's not that much demand on it and there's more with the former, that doesn't hurt the people like me that still prefers the older system.
AI will still be improve and soon it will be a big help to gambling industry and let’s just hope that AI will be use the right way. Betting the old way is still a good one and there’s no need to update it but since technology is still growing, we should also adopt so we will not be left behind. Casinos have to introduce new feature as well so they remain competitive, the competition between those casinos are also growing.

The evolvement of technology is inevitable, so these business owners are also trying to catch up with the current technology.
What I like about the sportsbetting scene is that owed to crypto online sportsbooks, I can bet anytime, anywhere I want.
Also, you don't need big amount of money just to place your bet. Some online bookies even accept a $1 bet.
Before, with traditional bookies, you would be ashamed if you will only place bet using 5-10 bucks.
But today, with these crypto bookies, they have very low min amount that you can use to place a bet, and very convenient to check all the betting lines available.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 13, 2023, 08:24:35 PM
Every gambler has their own belief at times. Others may find it strange, but it is not for them. What that guy did is comparable to what I've heard about psychology: don't tell people about your plan since the more you tell others about it, the less likely it is to happen. That individual might be thinking that if anyone sees his bet, it would put a jinx on him. That sort of thing. Gamblers are also superstitious because gambling is always, if not most of the time, based on luck.
If you are engaged in an activity that requires luck for being successful, it doesn't provide you an excuse to be superstitious. I mean, you can be, it's your right, no one should be judging you for what you believe, but being superstitious can become problematic, and it surely never helps. Don't do that to yourself.
Even if the activity requires luck, some of us are still superstitious. For example, when we watch a sport game, we can see that a player prays first or do other things/gestures. Some of it may not be familiar to us but they do that because they think it helps them to win and reach their current position.
This type of image is often seen in many sports where a player prays to his lord so that he can win. I wouldn't call it superstition. Because everyone knows that if creator is kind to someone then he can fulfill his dreams. Since praying to God for anything is a personal matter. I never look down on such faith. But beyond this, many people go through various superstitions to win in gambling. I think those superstitions have no basis.

Beliefs will always be here for some bettors, so just accept and respect whatever belief someone has.
Each of us has our own faith, no matter what you have, respect is the main thing to approach on this matter.
I think this kind of mentality won't be totally avoided when it comes to betting because we have our own cultures,
our own beliefs, so we have some sort of feeling that we need to do before placing our bets, even if it doesn't affect the outcome of our bets.
So long you are not harming anyone, you can practice whatever belief you have on your bets. Much better if you are discreet about it so no one will comment or contradict your way of betting.
