1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2022, 04:59:42 AM
price will stay low for a long time because it won't shoot to the moon before halving. two years more so you are lucky that you can afford to DCA weekly. many users in the forum earns BTC thru campaigns. that's just what i would do as well.  but i would rather be trading though than keeping it on a cold wallet.

The thing is, Inoue can withstand the punches of Donaire, which I believe punched way harder than Butler.  So with that, I believe Butler's power punch isn't a problem for Inoue.  But of course, it is just what I think and may be proven wrong.

and that i can believe the monster will still be victorious. one can consider this a mismatch since inoue is a top p2p boxer. inoueis built to absorb hits and counter a stronger punch.  you can visually see donaire put a mass to his right cross but are just lightly taken by inoue. if it were just the kind of Fernando Montiel, the opponent will already wobble on the ground.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: September 07, 2022, 11:27:29 PM
^ ICO seem very odd. ADA is  more for SPO afaik.

i really don't see projects using ADA's smart contract that is above the rank of CMC. if they can't make it there, ADA will still be a project that may not surface to be adopted by majority. in muesliswap, most of the tokens i see are defi projects never been heard before.

will it change when djed stablecoin launched?
1844  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is the Different Between 1XBet and 1XBit? on: September 07, 2022, 10:16:34 PM
I often see one of them on the promotion board at football match. 1xBET seen in previous Laliga matches but I don't know if the site is official and has nothing to do with any of them anymore. Believe me, you have to be careful in choosing a gambling site because you can lose money easily. User reviews may help, but do your own analysis.

There is no significant difference. Both sites are operated by the same company, 1xCorp N.V., or something like that.
So does that mean they are both scams?

highly likely since they are owned by same company. these two are really pushing its marketing to its craziness. there are movies i tend to download and sometimes 1xBET inserts its watermark to these movies. really bold marketing but its still a strategy. scam accusation is more alarming because crypto is already in a bad light since.
1845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think that US is instigating war between China and Taiwan? on: September 07, 2022, 09:58:51 PM
Just saw on CNN that US has approved more than $1.1 billion in arms sales to Taiwan, which includes up to 60 anti-ship missiles and up to 100 air-to-air missiles, and this has heightened the tension, as China is demanding that US revoke them, which US claims that it's their long standing policy to provide the Island with arms which is essential for their security.

I fear should this escalate further, knowing that Russia and China are allies and both countries doesn't have a good relationship with the US. What would happened should both countries decides to face the US, will Europe intervene in the favour of US?

The tension gets more heightened with each passing day.

if US is going to go between the war of taiwan vs china, my country Philippines will probably be occupied by US. this will put us in a bad situation.
US had been making wars everywhere in the world making border conflicts worse when instead keeping the peace.

China, like any other country is a proud country developing magnificent projects all over the world. if US wants the friendly competition, developing projects on other countries will also be good for them. Not war.

1846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 07, 2022, 07:01:26 AM
It's pretty obvious that whales are trading btc for eth in order to begin a large pump and dump run ahead of the Ethereum upgrade/merge news.  Roll Eyes

Noobs will never learn I guess.

Just how I expected this to play out.

People are getting their ETH buy orders ready today, but will they remember to put their sell orders 1 month from now?

something big is coming so they said, they're referring to the merge.
its crazy they are expecting ETH to be $17k in the next bull run. who wouldn't want that profit so if its going to materialized i'm  really going to miss the opportunity of a life time because i'm  not buying ETH. but i'm also going to be saved when all these will flop.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Profitable Are Altcoin-Based Signature Campaigns? on: September 07, 2022, 06:39:49 AM

its not worth it if the tokens to be paid is not yet listed to an exchange. i have joined several of bounty in altcoin section, some are not worth. its why most will dump the tokens when it get listed.

some of them are actually profitable as well. particularly in the time when the bull market is closer. so if you want it to be worth it, join while there is bull run.

1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [NEWS] Gambler Charged with Murder after Letting Kids Die on: September 06, 2022, 03:11:15 PM
leaving her kids for six hour unattended while they were just 2 and 3 yr old kids. what the husband would do to this woman is unimaginable. but this is is also very tragic for a mother losing 2 kids. she will probably not forgive herself with this.

1850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Our children should be our first priority on: September 05, 2022, 08:50:17 AM
Parenting go along way to affect children's life styles

even the Holy Bible says, Teach your child in the way he should go, so he won't depart from it when he grows, parents should understand this fact and respect it as a responsibility vested on them as long as they are the guardians, we don't need to be told before doing our rights as parents, many has faulted the community and government over the upbringings of their children but they have forgotten that each entity has it different role to play on a child growth and that of parent must not be left vacant as charity begins at home.

Try all what you can to make them happy. Let them see their home as the best.

but never spare the rod whenever there's need to exercise it's use on them, very important, here am not talking about child abuse, please noted.

you won't be able to teach  your kid if you give them all they want. i really would want my kid to go through all the kinds of problems even when he still is a kid because i don't want him to think of suicide with just a simple broken heart or dumped by a girl.

its why i want him to experienced getting bullied and see how he would act. if he avoid those kids, then good. if he fights back then good for he finds solutions.
1851  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is world going to be digitilization and People jobless on: September 05, 2022, 08:14:10 AM

we are humans and dependent physically. anyone without a skill will easily learn it in just a week with some tutorials they could find on youtube.
when a person hit rock bottom, he won't care what other people say.  he'll just do all he can to make money even a little as possible.

it may be hard to shift offline to online though. it just a matter of time to get by. it they can't make it online, go back to offline.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT DEAD! on: September 04, 2022, 03:12:43 PM
Bitcoin has been proclaimed every every bear market and resurrect again like Jesus, its a never ending cycled of Life and Death. and while there will be mining farms making the network secure, BTC will not die.

we know for a fact that energy comes from gas and nuclear power plant which runs the mining farms. we also believe POW is more secure so why are we supporting gas reduction. feels like we were just brainwashed thru this climate change that we were not to support using fossil fuels. it now cause the change of lives of the people in EU.

1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Anderson Silva [rumours] on: September 04, 2022, 02:50:51 PM
I don't think these are rumors.  It seems to be a legitimate fight with contracts already signed.  It might not be the most exciting fight watching a punk kid fight an old legend.  It's as close as they could get to Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson though, so at least they're trying to maintain some entertainment.  I wonder how long Logan will be wrestling for until he gets back in the boxing ring.
Anderson Silva also received his boxing license from the commission, so it's very likely he's fighting Jake Paul. I'm quite excited about it, people aren't giving Anderson enough credit. He's already boxed successfully.

As for Logan Paul, I think the money is currently in the wrestling for him. However, I know KSI is back to boxing so I think that's pushing Logan to actually do something too. I'm not sure who Logan would fight though, potentially one of Jake Paul's opponents, and then maybe we'll see the difference between the two.

I’m a fan of Anderson Silva back on his prime on UFC before his leg injury. He has a superb boxing skill and agility to dodge close combat punch as if everything is slow motion but his last 3 matches before he retired shows his weakness and slow movement for his reflexes which I think the main reason why he is not the favorite on this match since the fight will be boxing while Jake Paul already dedicated his life on this sports even if it’s not on professional way. Silva is playing on different sports which means his experience is not that much helpful since his opponent specialty is already on boxing.

I think this match is fair unlike typical exhibition match that usually the unprofessional boxer is always on losing side. This time I can assume that Jake Paul has chance of winning.

sure its a fair match. so Jake better train well this time.
Silva moved to boxing i think because of his leg injury but he is beating top level dudes like Julio Chavez Jr. though Silva is old, he can box.

you gotta respect Jake for having the balls to fight Silva. this young man doesn't just have the high IQ marketing skills, he also knockout combat guys who had been trained longer than he did.
1854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you think bear market is affecting Bitcoin (Crypto currencies) so badly on: September 02, 2022, 03:44:03 PM

its not just the bear market. the inflation will dry people up if it continues for another 2 years. mostly the retail invesors relying the cycle of bull runs.

if they sell the fraction of BTC they hold to put food on the table or for gas this winter, then they lose the opportunity when bear is over.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are changing ..... Bitcoin should wake up and innovate more! on: September 02, 2022, 03:29:29 PM

if what you mean by more innovatoin is smart contract, there are teams already doing it like the RSK and Taro. but if you mean modifying BTC code itself to its protocol, it will bring down its market with broken trust.  spare the decentralization to Bitcoin and give governments control to Eth POS.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: September 02, 2022, 03:16:40 PM

I would personally only consider this kind of assest as a long term investment only if I had a very high trust on these casinos and their capacity to grow in a such competitive market, due to the centralization implicit on them.
The price of these tokens are tied to the success of the platform itself acting like some sort of share.

I think that for long term investment it would be better to go with a decentralized asset, like Bitcoin. I am not saying that these casino tokens cant lead to very good profits, centralized coins (like Binance's BNB) have provided a lot of money to their investors in a relatively short period of time, but these tokens are not for everyone.

True, the success of your investment depends on how the marketing will succeed to attract more gamblers to play using the casino if there's nothing that the team offers it will delay the progress in terms of value, but if there are many available feature that investors will earn the chance that it will be supported by more investors and traders.

On the other-hand, if you have a decent amount of money to invest, adding more solid asset like BTC, ETH and BNB.

It's up to you though, your money is always valued by your decision with your investment.

what sort of proof do you need for ou to trust a casino token?

would it be enough to show that the dividends that casino gave saved its holders from bear market and the crisis?
because if a bag holder did made it just relying on shared revenue from the casino i think the casino deserves it. the bagholder however must have spent a lot to bag the casino tokens.

1857  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX froze user account for sending coins to privacy roll up on: September 02, 2022, 12:50:45 AM

@2stout. Agreed, it will only be public enemy for a week or a month until the remember it again and create another campaign for it then forget about it again hehehe. Also, very much similar to the darknet marketplaces, how much more has it grown after the famous case of the owner of the Silkroad? I reckon more than 10x since 2013.

nothing stops it as long as people use the marketplace to buy stuff. just like the mixers, it will also be used. the more people will use mixers or the likes of wasabi wallet because of this censorship from CEX.

these CEX don't have options too or they will face legal action from regulators. it could be too much but do you think users caught using mixers by exchanges will be hunted?
1858  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: National Police of Ukraine takes down cyber crime group on: September 01, 2022, 06:13:12 AM
while there is a war going on in their country, these cyber group are also busy victimizing. just amazing.  Cheesy

it didn't say how long this call center been operating, i can imagine they operate for years by the number of employees laying down. Just arm these crime group, recruit these guys to fight Russians in Donetsk.
1859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: south africa has launched a SMS service to send bitcoin without internet on: September 01, 2022, 05:51:35 AM
While it may not be perfect, it seems like they’re doing what is necessary to help spread adoption which could really benefit these people in the future. I doubt sms will be a widely used way to send Bitcoin but if it helps then now then it seems like a pretty awesome project.

that's the point i guess. they see to it that there will be an  adoption  despite having an internet connection that is not very stable.

there are also digital payment (GCASH) in my country which we use all the time with internet connection. Its widely adopted that even prostitutes are using it nowadays. but if we are not connected to the internet, we can also send the cash thru SMS.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Commentary and commentators in sports. on: August 31, 2022, 07:55:58 PM
Commentary is underated in sports and commentators are not giving enough recognition for the role they play in sports.

I don't agree. In UFC good commentators earn a lot of money and are really appreciated by the fans. Joe Rogan made a nice career out of commenting and now has his own show.
It's the same with football commentators. Most of them are in this line of work for life and people get used to hearing their voices. I have my personal favourite football commentator who's known of doing it all the way in the 80s and 90s and he's still great at it.

sometimes, Joe Rogan's facial reaction whenever theres a KO is more entertaining to watch than the slomo. Joe earns more on his podcast i believe than being a commentator. he is just doing it for the love of the sport.
