1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 24, 2019, 02:53:27 PM
I am not certain but all I know is that bitcoin will never be replaced by any altcoin even if we continue what Satoshi wants to do with it is because a lot of people are earning their profit from it. It is the first successful crypto currency so obviously it will be the first one to be expensive and with its volatility, the price can be quickly manipulated to reach great heights that will boost more profit and will boost more demand in the near future.
1842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Weird bitcoin art propaganda on: August 24, 2019, 02:28:23 PM
Nice! There are a lot of people out there making art about Bitcoin but most of them are usually collages and memes, including me that is so embarrassing to talk about. Hope you continue to make more of this and keep this thread updated. Might use some of your pictures in the future so, yeah, can I use some of them? I will not use them right now, it is just that I might use them in the future and I am requesting for your authorization in advance.
1843  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: August 24, 2019, 02:05:15 PM
I think it will be if there are a lot of people accepting it. In our country, a lot of people know about crypto currencies particularly bitcoin but a lot of them are saying that it is a scam that is why even though they know it, they don't care since they don't want to be scammed but in reality, they will not be. Also, they might not be used to these technologies so I guess crypto will not be popular in your country.
1844  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: August 24, 2019, 12:50:21 PM
I don't know, to be honest I can't say that I am a bull or a bear. All I know is that I am basing my investment on the movement of the price. If the price goes up, I might wait for a short period of time and sell, if it falls down I wait depends on the informations and updates I am reading.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] The International 2019: Dota 2 World Championship on: August 24, 2019, 12:14:54 PM
OG is now waiting for the grand finals while they've sent PSG.LGD to the lower bracket.

ATM, Team Secret vs Team Liquid.

I want to see Liquid up against OG in the finals. Then I guess PSG-LGD will not be an easy opponent for Liquid if they will against team secret. It's very exciting to see every match specially this final four teams that are considered to be the best this ti9.
Team Liquid secured the top 3 spot and will be fighting against PSG.LGD tomorrow. While Team Secret, takes the 4th place and gets out of the tournament.

Team Liquid has an amazing run on the lower bracket without any loss.

That is the thing. A lot of Liquid supporters this TI was disappointed at the matches they had before the group stage, but when the bracket went up, Liquid did not lose in the lower bracket statong the fact that they are just laying down a plan. PSGLGD did great, but I think this will be their last match. We will be seeing a TI Finals without a chinese team this year.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 23, 2019, 01:26:00 PM
This is the first time I heard of it and it will be taking some time before the elections in our country take place and I don't think I will be able to see a gambling site that will be doing this kind of betting. Another thing is as far as I know, just recently, our President, President Rodrigo Duterte will have the decision of banning online gambling.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 22, 2019, 11:58:01 PM
I once gambled using fiat before entering the crypto room and didn't know yet / there was an online gambling using crypto. It's just that, in the past I used fiat, now I prefer to use crypto because there are many altcoin choices in every gambling game.

I did the same but I did stop myself since I don't want to be addicted my whole life in gambling. Another thing is that I don't usually gamble using my crypto since fiat don't have a probability to give you a profit, crypto can do that whether it is a short term or a long term as long as you know whay you are doing.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 11:36:27 PM
Basically most of the gambling platforms I have been used to; are due to their positive feedback from gamblers who have at sometimes gamble with the platform. Personally, most of my favorite gambling platforms are those platforms that have a long history of trust.

This is what I'm saying. I know that there are a lot of other platforms out there that can attract you to their site  but that doesn't mean you should take all of your balance to your usual site and send it all to that new site, we should know how to tell these sites whether they are a scam or a legitimate.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: August 22, 2019, 02:46:20 PM
And another one, Im tired of this. There are a lot of people saying they are the founder of bitcoin, they are Satoshi Nakamoto but man, there are a lot of ways to prove that and that drive is not enough, not even true, might be. If it is him, let him prove it. He is saying that he is the founder and yet what he is saying so early is his reason and not a proof.
1850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Game Changer for Cybercrime on: August 22, 2019, 01:39:30 PM
It is obvious that criminals will abuse the anonymity it had, we should know this and we will never be able stop this since, well it is anonymous. Fiats are not anonymous but there are a lot of transactions to criminals using that. You know, as long as there are ways to do crimes and do transactions to them anonymously, crimes will be there, cyber crime will be there since let's be honest, there are a lot of other crypto currencies out there that is more volatile than bitcoin, it is not always bitcoin.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 22, 2019, 11:56:36 AM
Mayweather is good, actually better than Manny and he fights in the US but who has the biggest no. of fans when Manny and Mayweather fight, of course obviously Manny as we bear boos for Mayweathers while cheers for Manny.

TBH, I've never seen a fight where Manny has less fans compared to his opponents in the venue, Manny could be a good boxing ambassador as lots of people admire him the way he handle himself and even proven to win a championship at his age now.

He is a good example and an inspiration to boxers who aim to become a legend.

Inoue is a Japanese, I don't know his life story but Filipinos and Japanese have different culture, Filipinos are known polite and humble, and that's what Manny is showing to the world.
We don't know Inoue's background but as far as his countrymen support him, maybe he is the Manny Pacquiao in Japan. If he can win against Donaire then many Japanese will be inspired by him.

You can search for him! He is a BEAST Im telling you. I can't compare him to Manny Pacquiao since he has his own level of boxing that we might be seeing a future boxer superstar in the making. I am waiting for this fight and I want to see how will Donaire fight in this match since if you will be watching the past matches of Inoue, you will see how explosive his punches are.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 10:34:46 AM
Why do we need to find another gambling sites to play while there are a lot of gambling sites out there that is tested and being trusted by a lot of gamblers all around the world? I know that there are a lot of tempting gamlbing sites out there but I think it is better if you will just stick to one site you are used to play with, trusted by a lot of gamblers and the one you are comfortable with, hackers can are inevitable but as long as you know that site is not a scam, it is better to stay there.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 11, 2019, 04:42:20 PM
Mayweather is undefeated because judges were bought.  There are fights where he obviously losses but judges favors him.  In short, Mayweather's opponent are already defeated right before they step on the ring Grin.

Regarding the rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather, I believe if money speaks, it will come true.
I hope so that this will come true. Since they are bought good fighters and the fight we saw on their last match was fun to watch. Blow by blow punches. But, my father told me that there was news that Jinkee wanted Pacquiao to stop his boxing career. I mean, this was a long time ago but still he continues to fight. I hope he will again this time.

He lost or not, Manny can give a lot of things to Jinkee that can make her change her mind. Another thing is that time is when Manny Pacquiao is in the losing streak, they thought Manny is getting older because of that, but he's not actually, he's just having a bad year at that time. Now that he proved that he can still fight, a match or two will eventually the expected, we don't know what might happen after that.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: How would loans work in a Bitcoin economy on: August 10, 2019, 01:53:36 PM
What would be the difference of fiat loaning from crypto or bitcoin? I think that will be the same. People would think, that is dangerous since you will be loaning a money from someone you don't know but obviously there will be a requirements, a third person where they will sign the agreement. As far as I know there is a thread here about that.

Edit : the link is already posted here.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 10, 2019, 12:45:30 PM
I was not able to check the latest odds of the fight, the last time I saw it, Nonito seems to be no match against Inoue based on the odds, but since this is a championship fight and Nonito has showed some good fights lately, I would try to put some amount for Nonito winning the fight.

Hoping for an upset here.

It's because Inoue is touted to be the next pound for pound king. Watch his videos and indeed he is a complete fighter. His body shots, power in both hands, does have a solid chin, in short no one has find a weakness in him.

Not bad if you put some money on the Filipino Flash, we all know that he is already in the twilight of his career and way past his prime. But maybe, he can turn back the clock and we can witness his vaunted check left hook hitting flush and let's see if Inoue can withstand it.

I was checking on the odds now but I could find any, I checked it with sportsbet and nitrogensports but it's not available.
This should be in sportsbook if people think Inoue is gonna be a star in the future.

It is still too early I think. Inoue is a great fighter and I don't think he is not that popular. He is so explosive making grear combos and nuke punches that could make their enemies kneel or hit the canvas. I think this will be a great fight for Nonito, will he make another undefeated first loss or this will be another great win for Inoue.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on a dog fight? on: August 07, 2019, 11:38:21 PM
I love to keep pets so I am not going to support any from of games which abuses the animals, remember they are also living organism they will fell the pain same like human beings so don't make fun of it.

You are a good person with a big heart though not all of the people in this world are like you, not all of them have the same perspective of animal or life as you. There are a lot of people abusing animals, abusing our planet and even abusing their countrymen or other humans. As far as I know, this type of gambling is popular in Mexico in the past but I read an article that it is banned now so most of the time, dogfighting is done illegally and the usual here is the "underground dog fight".
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on a dog fight? on: August 07, 2019, 01:13:28 PM
This is not legal in most places but theres talks of other animals fighting so why not ask.
I know it is popular with Bitcoin and gamblings.

It is not legal in our country too as far as I know. Dogs are one of the animals that are so close to human and seeing them fight each other in a ring is just brutal for me to watch so I don't wanna bet on it, I don't even want to watch that fight.

I know it is popular with Bitcoin and gamblings.

Really? Any proofs to back this up? This is the first time I know that.
1858  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: August 04, 2019, 01:40:47 AM
in essence the current market has not fully shown an increase. everything is just a lure, when the coin rises a little later it falls again with a much higher presentation. so in conclusion, the market is still vulnerable and don't sell, hold up.
you're right, it's like a small bubble that can explode at any time, I think at this time all bitcoin holders are still holding their coins because I see the trading volume is very low.

Very low? How can you say that? Any basis about this? Because I have proof that it is not. https://data.bitcoinity.org/markets/volume/30d?c=e&t=b. That is a link where you can see the Bitcoin trading volume and you can see that is a large volume. Not that huge comparing last month. Now that the price is increasing again, I think we will be seeing another increase in this volume.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 04, 2019, 12:25:58 AM
Video games are loaded with aspects of gambling and people of all groups and ages play these games in modern times.  Many games have things like loot boxes that you pay for to random prizes, Runescape has the duel arena where you can gamble gold against one another, and there are many more examples.

People may start off with video games and then eventually move on to higher sums gambling in real casinos.  What are your thoughts on this matter and should anything be done?
I remember tekken. I always find a player in world of fun just to play and bet a game in tekken. Before online games and android games become trend, this is my hobby. I play video games when I was in high school. And I always win in tekken. Anyway, I also play GTA and EA SPORTS before. Those video games completed my childhood memories. I think people who have played much during their teenage years will become aware also in gambling.

Obviously especially these days when skins and loot boxes make the game more exciting for the players from professionals to casual players. People are using the money to buy them, most of the time there are even people who bet on sites to win another in-game items for example dota2lounge(don't know if that is still live right now). I think the idea of loot boxes can make gamers aware of gambling.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best solution to handle gambling addition, in a country. on: August 03, 2019, 10:34:40 PM
For me, I would not stop gambling since you will not be able to stop people from gambling, that is the nature of human. We will be ending up addicted in one thing at some point and it is ourselves that is responsible for that and not the government. Higher taxes, that is the solution of most of the countries to prevent gamblers from gambling, but still, they keep in gambling. I think the only body responsible for the gamblers here is the casinos and not the government since they can't stop people from going in and out of casinos.
