1881  Economy / Economics / Re: millionaires of the world, be reminded... on: November 20, 2016, 06:38:15 PM
But the issue that op is raising to millionaires I believe are those who dont know or who have no idea about Bitcoin because I am so certain that there is no millionaire who is on this forum or read what OP stated that is not already having at least 1 Bitcoin and then the issue is the others that are no here are those ones the message should be directed to...

Also the economic crises of 2008 came and went as well and the rich people were still standing, that was even before Bitcoin so if another should come I dont see their wealth eroded away simply because they did not invest in Bitcoin...
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: November 20, 2016, 02:03:16 PM
Actually there is only one chance to win without losing on gambling and I think its cheating. Since most gamblers on real life are cheaters that why losing doesn't happen to them except when you got caught.
I don't know if this is winning too, if you lose all what you've bet but you are having fun on doing it.

I agree with you because even in real life some guys are so good that you will think they are being fair by winning or they are lucky but in the real sense they are the one cheating but in your heart you feel why cant you be lucky? For those set of people, I prefer to play online and lose in a provably fair system even though I dont know how to verify such... But in the real fact that I have come to understand and know there is no way to win in gambling without losing only you play once and bot...
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: November 20, 2016, 01:51:30 PM
In my own opinion, i think its really not about religion because I have seen people cut across religions involved in gambling and it just felt good to them. I think its more of your own personal thing and your personal definition of what is actually right or wrong because even in religion, every of injunction even still give room for choice of what we really believe in. So for me as a christian I could say gambling is right and for another person who is also a christian, gambling is wrong...

1885  Other / Off-topic / Re: A little note to all the world, enjoy life, every day is different. on: November 19, 2016, 11:07:21 AM
Every day of our lives, we live and we learn and life will be fair at times and some other times life will be cruel but the most important thing is how do we come out in the end. On this forum we comment, we laugh and sometimes we just forget our real life out there. @squall I tell you the cruelty of life and people is universal and not limited to a particular place.

My own way to this is the betrayal I had to go through in this past few weeks with someone I  trusted with my life that knows practically everything about me but ended stabbing me at the bask because of something that will finish soon...

I braced up move on and even go the way you go and I decide to be positive and it won't change my perception... Along side I have met wonderful people but I tell you the betrayal is tough to deal with...
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: November 18, 2016, 07:17:54 PM
I see it as normal for anyone to hype a project even beyond its capacity and hoping it will live up to that. For the guys that lost some money they probably thought its the best decision with all the hype and all that, it could have been the best decision anyone would have taken if their plan had come to play. But its a risk that anyone could have taken? Most importantly the real potential of a coin is not in short term but how it can stand the test of time...
1887  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Effects on Economically Developing Nations on: November 18, 2016, 03:00:08 PM
Is bitcoin becoming beneficial to the third-world countries? It just came to my thoughts: how do this kind of trend in economics affect the poor countries? Does it help in lifting our economy? (I included myself since I belong to a third-world country). I am just curious how this kind of trend aids a poor economy like ours? Just want to know your personal thoughts over this question.  Wink

There is definitely a part Bitcoin plays in development of the economy even from a developing country myself but the part I see it is that its more on the individual part than the country in the sense that I as an individual can earn Bitcoin or trade one to make more to exchange thereby increasing my income after converting to FIAT by this then I get to increase my purchasing power of what I couldnt have gotten initially which in effect, give me a positive outcome but not on the larger scale of the whole economy...
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Money? on: November 18, 2016, 10:04:53 AM
A lot of country are get in mainstream of use digital currency and leave paper money. People are angry with a lot of government member who doing corruption of tax. So I think people will leave paper money and start to use gold or digital money.

Whether the people like it or not the government will continue to have its way because without government there we are calling for anarchy.  The fact that people dont trust government with taxes and so they will switch to other forms of currency wont work because its either government finds its way to get its taxes from that new source by making laws to cover it or if that is not possible, government will ban everything all together and force people back to the initial position with adequate punishment in the case of disobedience. Either way, government still wins...

1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: November 17, 2016, 07:01:49 PM
Bitcoin has really helped me in meeting needs because I see its earning as a way to earn a decent passive income which does not affect my normal work and even give me the flexibility of surfing online to know more, meet people and funny enough I do all these things normally but now, I now make some extra income from it. I now enjoy browsing more...
1891  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is effective twitter campaign for gambling? on: November 16, 2016, 07:16:20 PM
To me twitter campaign could be effective if only its consistent because for someone following a lot if people within minutes you get so many new twerts which means any latest tweet leaves the first page as soon as possible and I might not even see it but if its just to create awareness, then its a very effective means...
1892  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can Bitcoin exchange be considered as money laundering? on: November 16, 2016, 04:50:51 PM
I actually enjoy your analysis and its actually what is going on but no evidence. You see multi-nationals move money abroad because of strict exchange policies through Bitcoin and it goes. Looking at it from the definition of Money Laundering, yes it is but the issue is under what law can one be prosecuted? Thats a question. On the issue you raised I dont think its money laundering in your own case because its actually a payment for service you rendered and $1000 from my view has not reached a benchmark to be flagged as money laundering...
1893  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real winner of the 2016 election on: November 16, 2016, 04:43:27 PM
The issue of participating in election by majority of the population has been an issue of concern but I didnt know its the same in advanced countries like this.  Over here you see an average of 22 million people deciding for a population of over 150 million people despite all the cries and campaign that they should come out and vote but our case is different as we dont use electoral colleges and based on OP analysis if it were to my country, then Hillary will be the winner even if it were to be by few votes...
1894  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: November 16, 2016, 11:56:31 AM
Although, I came to the party of Bitcoin late, ( joining in 2016 since 2009) but for it t have stand the test of time up till this moment sends a signal to us which is the fact that it is a worthy item to be reckoned with. For me, I think its actually more worthy than FIAT because of the fact that it is volatile and this makes it interesting for everyone to be part of in the sense that over night I could have been better off or worse off compared to FIAT which is relatively stable over a period of time...
1895  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: November 16, 2016, 11:47:16 AM
The best ways I know to manage money and I know is universal to every clime of the society irrespective of race or religion are as follows:

- No matter how little you earn, save...

- Never spend your money on wants spend on needs...

- Invest for the future from the little you have

- When your resources is too small, expand your means of income and go back to number 1 above...
1896  Economy / Economics / Re: Chandler Guo : "Bitcoin could reach 1 million dollar" on: November 16, 2016, 11:44:00 AM
Its really going to be a long way and even hard to believe at that but come to think of it who would believe that Bitcoin would attract the value that it has today about years ago when it first came? But I agree that the prediction is a long shot and even me I wouldnt believe such because of the recent developments happening among which are not limited to regulations, government interests in the coming in the nearest future coupled with various alt coins striving hard to replace bitcoin. These and many other reasons could be a long obstacle against bitcoin in achieving that feat...
1897  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: November 16, 2016, 11:32:32 AM
I guess I am human and I would do what other humans will do which is to make profit because I have not seen any one who purposely set out to meet an objective which is to make loss. So I buy bitcoins, sometimes I earn even on this forum, then I hold and wait for the price to go up then sell sometimes it falls but I am not perturbed I will wait until I achieved my objective of making profit...

1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could there be a law on stolen bitcoins? on: November 16, 2016, 07:29:31 AM
Yes there will could be law on stolen Bitcoin if there is a law recognising Bitcoin as a currency then stealing it becomes illegal then it can be enforced by the enforcement officer designated by law until that nothing will happen and if any enforcement officer wants to act then he will be acting ultra-vires over here, there are several things that are immoral but since the law is not there to make it illegal then there is nothing that can be done...
1900  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you discover bitcoin? on: November 16, 2016, 06:34:33 AM
My story goes thus, having heard about making money online several times and try as few only to discover everything is saturated with scammers, I then gave up that no real means of earning rather than wasting my resources on surfing. But after a while when I got to have access to unlimited internet, then I started surfing again until I read an article and follow through, did more findings, joined the forum and the rest they say is history...
