1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 07, 2022, 11:46:32 PM
Warriors equalized the series as I expected and I was very confident about it. Warriors are a really predictable team in some specific games. For example, they started this series really badly but I knew that they were going to atone for it right away in the second game. They did this by a huge performance too and Celtics were helpless against them in the first three quarters. They were able to decrease the gap by only four points in the last quarter and had no choice other than submitting to them at the end.
The Celtics did well in the first and second quarters. But GSW ended the first half with a class and that's where I think it all started.

And when the second half started, that's where the fire started for the GSW and they didn't let that fire burn out until they've managed to put a huge difference in their scores.

They did a great job doing that and we can expect more again from GSW on the next game.

A classic GSW who dominates the 2nd half, with that kind of rotations where everyone really adjusts well, it's really tough for the

young Boston to counter and got no other options but to give it up and rest their starters.

Even there's still a whole 4th quarter to rally back, just like how they did it last game 1, but they might see that it's not worthy to try,

and they just choose to conserve that energy going back home and try to turn the series back in their favor.
That strategy won't work on the game 2.

It's a long way to go for the Celtics to overcome what Warriors did to them during the 3rd quarter. The moment was there and it's hard to break that when Warriors is already dominating have taken the rhythm already.

But we'll see how the Celtics would do as much as they can to dominate until the last minute without a moment of fluking.
1922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason Why People(Mostly Newbies) Fall Victim To Scams Easily. on: June 07, 2022, 10:45:32 PM
For the newbies, it's better for them not trade. There's higher chance of losing in trading rather than investing and holding. It's the fact that they don't want to absorb so they try hard and get on it until they accumulate losses.

And for them to avoid getting scammed, they should act like chill on this market, they don't have to be hyperactive to the point that they want to invest to any project that shows up on their feed. It's not the investor thing to do just because you want to be one. The perfect strategy is to be a consistent investor of bitcoin and apply your patience on it.

You can idolize and desire to gain a thousand percentage gain overnight but don't think that it's for everybody.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and actions to raise it on: June 07, 2022, 09:47:09 PM
This is the time to look around and ask: What else can be done to sustain BTC growth? How to increase interest in BTC? Everything possible is already being done on the stock exchange. Where are the other growth points? Growth points in increasing demand and interest. Experienced people and beginners love to play. Therefore, growth points can be in expanding people's awareness and offering new tools.

I think it's time to make websites with prices in different currencies: dollars, euros and crypto. It seems to me that this will contribute to the popularization of cryptocurrencies. Strengthening the popularity of cryptocurrencies would lead to an increase in their rate, to more lively trading, and as a result, to strengthening the status of cryptocurrencies.
Yeah, you've got a good idea but you'll already see a lot of it upon searching for those. Honestly, you don't need any action right now if you want to interest popularity of bitcoin and have a contribution to its growth.

By owning and hodling it, you already have contributed as part of the community that supports it. As you hold, you also contribute to the lessening of its supply which makes the demand higher. So that means even if you do nothing, you're already doing your thing if that's what you're trying to ask.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about your next crypto portfolio for 2025 on: June 07, 2022, 08:49:56 PM
When is a good time to start buying altcoins?
When it has dumped.

Is bitcoin ever going to 25,000$ in the coming weeks?
No one will tell you that accurately but only predictions will say it.

How do you plan to start building your portfolio for the next bull market?
It has already been built and it lies around with bitcoin and ethereum.

Is now a good time to start buying?.
Yeah, still.

If you have plans of holding it for a long time, you can still hold and buy right now. Well, it's business as usual as long as you haven't met your target price.

1926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: June 06, 2022, 11:05:46 PM
Just test both and you would find out which one will really be effective. It all matters on how you do use and make decision through it.
Yeah, that's better.

If you know how to FA and TA, you'll have references if you're always checking the market. And the outcome of your own analyses with these strategies will give you an idea of what could happen next.

But you will still be the one to decide your own trading fate and decisions because not all the time, they're correct. Sometimes, the market, doesn't go along with any of the both.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 06, 2022, 10:11:27 PM
It is what happened.

Every bear market, too many projects that are failing and that's because of the devaluation and they're being left by most investors. The reason for it is that they don't see the value anymore for those projects, most of them are new.

Bear market being useful is all about being an investor and you accumulate at this time because everything is cheaper than before. Until you see the bulls again or until the price of these projects bump up and you're lucky that you've chosen good projects.
I've seen the highest returns investing in projects that launch during a bear market. Yes, these projects raise less funds but the upside is greater than older projects with a lot of bag holders looking to dump on new investors. CNDL is one L1 project that I am looking to invest in but I'm also looking at Layer 0 projects.
Good luck with that.

If you know how it goes and you know what's with the projects, you have an idea of how you'll make money in this bear market.

Many don't want to do that because afraid of looking into the market as it could dip for more. But if you have seen that there's greater return and you believe on that project, go ahead.
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Question about Elrond EGLD vs Solana SOL on: June 06, 2022, 01:06:21 PM
I have also seen the better days of EGLD.

Well, for SOL, it's about the community support and the projects that have been built through it. There are more projects that are choosing SOL for its adaptability and that's undeniable.

I guess the marketing also plays a part that has been done by the SOL team and for EGLD, it didn't clicked that much.
1929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term investment suggestion on: June 05, 2022, 11:56:50 PM
one of them really has to update and check news wherever it is, social media especially on Discord,
Twitter and Telegram are things you have to pay attention to every day if you want to invest in a short term in a project
It's just mostly for the news.

But do not depend solely your investing decision on social media. Because what I've noticed before even if there's a great news from a project, it doesn't reflect quickly and barely shows any significance if you'll base it on the price reaction of that project.

Although being updated on their handles and official channels is a good thing so that you'll be updated to any news and anything they do. Still, be broad and wide if you gather information as it's needed whether you're short term or long term.
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 05, 2022, 10:58:00 PM
Game 2 is tonight and I'm excited about it. Celtics surprised many of us after that huge performance especially in the final quarter. On the other hand I don't expect them to win this game too. I think that Warriors are going to be well-prepared for a big threat this time and they will find a way to destroy that defense. If they manage to open the gap too much earlier then they would be more comfortable to win this game. I know that they lost their twelve-point advantage in Game 1 but I wouldn't expect it to repeat itself.
Me too, maybe within 2 hours and it's already started.

It's gonna be the balancer of this series for you? Well, I don't know but whatever is the outcome of this game 2, I'm happy and just wants to see a good ending for this.

Maybe, I'd still count them for this 2nd game. And for the Warriors, this is like a game that they should win to recover from the loss they've made on the first game. Still first and second game but this always create an impact.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 05, 2022, 10:17:37 PM
Projects don’t exactly fail in the bear market they just get devalued as compare to their launching value. This is very common and investors also get scared and start converting their assets into stable coins or fiat sometimes. The problem is this causes even stronger panic into projects because coins are liquidated at alarming rate. The whole process is chaotic and could really make project go into dormant stages. This makes project struggle a lot before it can reach to the highest level one more time.
It is what happened.

Every bear market, too many projects that are failing and that's because of the devaluation and they're being left by most investors. The reason for it is that they don't see the value anymore for those projects, most of them are new.

Honestly, I'm wondering why there are still some people bought this script to run a casino while in fact it is proven to be failed many times.
How much it is in codecanyon?

I think these folks just have seen how profitable for them making a casino as their first impression and that's why they are people try to buy those codes and deploy it as soon as they've purchased it. But it will still be depending on how they manage it.

Looking at their website, they've got players already and the design is good but the slide bar, the thing at the left side. It seems that it's not needed if it only contains home, I guess they're still developing it.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 04, 2022, 07:56:42 AM
Horford did a great job, and I don't think anyone expected such an incredible comeback from the Celtics in the last quarter. By the way, Horford could definitely contend for the MVP finals award if he performs as well in the upcoming games.
Yeah.

He's commended on the first game and I hope that the fire that has been built on that game will replenish and will make them still on great hype. I want this type of basketball every finals, although the hype is on the highest whenever the season is getting there.

At the same time, it was only the first game, and it's too early to draw any assumptions because the Warriors clearly aren't going to give up.
That's for sure, they're still one of the champs for the past years and they've been experienced on this.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain what is the value of meme coins? on: June 04, 2022, 06:08:56 AM
It's been said that it's all about the hype that it brings.

Most of them have no real value and their value is caused by the hype of the community. Personally, I stay away from memecoins, but many people or P&D groups are interested in them, because you can still make good money from them. However, I believe that it would be better for the whole crypto world that such projects were treated at most as a toy or a curiosity.
I'm also staying away from them and the hype that they've made were all done. But the sad thing, there are still investors that have been stuck with that reality and also they're stuck with losses so they still hope for its comeback.

It's hard to move on if you've invested a lot and too late with it because you can't accept it.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs Group lends money to Coinbase backed by bitcoins on: June 04, 2022, 04:43:19 AM
Just another loan or investment probably and to start a relationship for better future on terms of business.

Agreement wasn't shared and of course, it's a business matter and GS won't give them loan if they know that Coinbase isn't as popular as they are now.

So, that's $183 M of loan last year, Coinbase don't want to cash out those bitcoins they hold so they loan and for sure, they all have means of paying it based on their terms.

They know that Coinbase is one of the top crypto-exchanges, hence, they have no problem making a business deal with them. We don't need to know about their payment terms but of course, they know what's in stake here. At the end of the day, it is all business so they already studied their financials here. If they have confidence in giving them loan, it means, they believe in crypto business. Without positive assessment from their calculated risks, I don't think they will lend money to Coinbase. So they are seeing positive here.
It is black and white before they've given that loan, it means that the company is making money and they wouldn't just handed it even if the business name is Coinbase, they have to look at its financial reports that includes the summary of its yearly income reports.

Just another loan or investment probably and to start a relationship for better future on terms of business.

Business as usual even this one do talks or connects out with Bitcoin but GS wont really be that dumb enough on letting Coinbase on getting some loan without having that assurance or security.

Since we know on how this crypto market had become this big or way too far then it do really pass up on the standards which they had considered out on granting some loan.

Coinbase does know that they could minimize possible loan payment if ever they would really be making more profits on the bitcoins that they've been holding.
The interest is the main thing on this loan from GS and they know that Coinbase can really keep it up unto the agreed terms.

Yeah, business as usual.
1936  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: June 03, 2022, 11:47:44 PM
They're a web3 casino and they have to integrate it with popular wallets like Metamask, you have to check it because it's there.

Is there other website that are like them? I like their platform very much as it is really convenient to use, you just connect your wallet where you have some crypto then you are ready to play. They even support multiple networks so you won't need to bridge your funds just to play.
Yes, AFAIK there are.

They support multiple way of logging in and as well as if you want the traditional way of registration through email, they still have it. That's convenient way of logging in and we're now seeing them as a start and there will be others that will do the same and follow it.

Now I'm thinking if it's possible for famous web2 casinos like primedice, fortunejack, etc. to transist into web3. They need to keep up with the competition if future casinos are built in web3.
Very likely and possible if they're being asked or they have it on plan already.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can crypto go lower than 95% on: June 03, 2022, 10:53:22 PM
The whole crypto market can drop a lot just as what you're thinking. But I don't think this time is going to be painful, a lot of changes were made and fundamentals.

But based on your choice, I think that you need to upgrade your choices and choose better projects than of those you've got. I'll buy as I see the market experiencing bearish moves and it's an opportunity that I shouldn't miss.

And the choices that I'll make, I'll make sure that I've doing it correctly based on my own standards.

1939  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 02, 2022, 11:23:50 PM
In 2022, it is expected that millions of people with fall into extreme poverty every 33 hours. According to the report, 263 million people are predicted to fall into extreme poverty this year, citing the cost of living crisis as one of the many driving factors. While the billionaires who control these assets are set to profit even more, Oxfam warns hundreds of millions could be priced out of staying alive.
This is currently happening. A lot of people already suffers from the effect of these world events, covid-19, Russia - Ukraine war and there goes the high price of oil which results to a high inflation rate.

I guess it will never change the fact that the rich will be richer and the poor gets poorer. We have to make our own way of survival from these catastrophies that's happening and making the lives of most harder.

We say that we don't have to rely on the government but they also have to take action which is necessary for the majority to at least ease the burden of most people that are living under the poverty line.

Hello! I like your website. Tell me, what are your most popular games?
You just can pay a visit to owl.games and you'll see the different games that they have and even their popular ones. There's the list for the trending games on the front page and you choose what you want to play.

I like the idea of olwgames there, it's genius. On the above post of iv4n, he was right, why the wallets that they support are not familiar? Im expecting trustwallet and metamask on the list but they are not included there. How can they get more customers that way?
As explained by dimonstration, they do.

They're a web3 casino and they have to integrate it with popular wallets like Metamask, you have to check it because it's there.
