1921  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 05, 2023, 05:50:18 PM

1922  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Question] Bitcoin to Fiat alternative on: May 05, 2023, 05:11:30 PM

. Mukang may another option pala tayo para mag exchange ng bitcoin to fiat. I guess I will check this one out, at kung mag ka problema ako sa current na ginagamit ko which is binance p2p, this will be my second option para makatry manlang.
1923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: May 04, 2023, 11:53:37 PM
If you want to do trading then you must have knowledge about different exchanges or coins. If you want to do trading then you must research the market because the market can suddenly crash and the price can increase so you have to buy tokens with an understanding of the opportunity. You buy tokens in a bear market and sell them when the price rises. If you are new then you must follow all its tricks.
Crashes are to be expected and if you're a trader, you're aware of it can happen anytime to any coin in the market that you're trading. Those that have come unprepared are the ones that shall be surprised if it has come. But as soon as you start trading, you'll get to see what's impactful to your trades and what you must avoid for you to have it understand that in trading, it's not always the market that's going to be on your side. At most times, it will be against you and you should be the one adjusting on it. If you can't focus on a single trade then be discouraged that you can't do better if you open with multiple trades.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a more pronounced and researched Cryptocurrency. on: May 04, 2023, 11:24:15 PM
It takes a genius mind to understand Bitcoin and its true potential with the inclusion of its futuristic benefits and those that have a genius understanding join the BTC market right from the early stage when some people are thinking otherwise about it.
Yeah, and it's not just about being a genius but also being a believer because that makes you a believer when you've to understand the concepts of Bitcoin.

Therefore, Bitcoin is already come to stay ever since it was successfully launched by Satoshi and supported by a lot of dev and enthusiast right from the first year it just most of us who joined years later don't have the genius mind to understand it early.
And it has become stronger for having the best community coming from cypherpunks, to individuals and retailers, and up to the point of having big financial institutions, tech companies, and even countries like CAR and El Salvador.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where did my staked ZIL go ? on: May 04, 2023, 10:54:38 PM
Check your transaction history if something goes off with your ZIL. If there's none to be found then you have nothing to worry about because if you've been hacked or what, then there's nothing left the hacker will allow for you to see.
Probably this could just be a glitch since as you've mentioned that ZIL is currently upgrading and the status of your wallet has been affected by it. A version of Atomic update could also be a thing here, check out if they've got some new release and update it but if there's none, then we can conclude that it's just an upgrade matter so wait until it's finished.
1926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 04, 2023, 10:23:46 PM
I don't know why people often trust meme coin or altcoin to an extent getting involved with $5m how and why?
Don't be surprised by that because many think that it's like a lottery bet that will make them rich overnight.

Do you think such person have a common sense or he doesn't have a financial adviser someone who works as ADC to him?
If that he invested the whole lot of money to bitcoin alone then I don't think he could had lost this way, maybe after the market gained another ATH then he might sell and get back those invested funds.
Most of them do it according to their own will of what they probably think is best for as an investor. It's a way for them to have their potential profit maximized because it's what they think is best for them. They're all attracted to those stories that have gone viral because of how they've made from pennies to thousands to millions. We might still see some of those stories but others are romanticizing these stories and some are even fabricated.

Meme coins are considered hyped coins and we can't deny that many people become rich and earn huge profits from investing in them during the hype. Their experience teaches them something really happen in the crypto space and they will be doing this again and again despite the high risks. I won't say that they don't have common sense but they are really practical in this matter, perhaps they are smart and have the ability to adapt to the situation. We can say they are wrong but guess what, risk takers earn more profit, and these meme/hyped coins investors possibly earn more than those who invest in Bitcoin ( and they might lose huge amounts as well).
Practical but not all of them find success with that. I think this is more of what's making us profitable, for them, it's with these meme coins and for us it's more with Bitcoin.
1927  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Bitcoin reduce corruption in governance? on: May 04, 2023, 09:55:52 PM
I'd say Blockchain that shall reduce corruption in governance and that is because if most of their transactions are viewable publicly through a public Ledger or Blockchain then that means that they need to spend and allocate budgets that are assigned to them to the programs that they need to put it. This is the power of the public people those want transparency but are we going to see something like this? Very unlikely, most of the governments are attached to the old way of keeping records and don't want to get some intervention with newest technology that could affect their personal matters and reasons.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 04, 2023, 09:28:56 PM
There could be some of those that they'll win for sure. But they'll come back stronger and that's gonna be a thing for them.
As for the Celtics, there's a huge disparity and gap with their lead against Philly, congrats to them.

They always come back stronger just see the 4th quarter that the run is very huge which means they are capable of coming back they just caught off short that time. I am not really a fan of GS as I am always a fan of LBJ but when it comes to games between GSW I always got nervous as no matter the gap of points if the last quarter they can make runs that they can get into OT or even win the game.
We'll see later if they'll have a comeback and make it a tie for the 2nd game.

My gut for tomorrow's game is that GSW will win that is why I still haven't bet for tomorrow lol
Follow your gut, sometimes we ignore it and it tends out to be true. We're just a few hours away from the 2nd game and in stake's odds, the Lakers got some better odds and probably in other bookies too. So choose what you want to bet.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with my crypto on: May 04, 2023, 08:44:15 PM
About fees , there are fees to buy BTC or Ether , sell them for Eur/USd and even transfer them to a wallet right ?
When you buy them, there's the spread and that's considered by many as the fees. As for the transfer, it depends to the exchange or platform where you'll be doing that.
Some may have a bit of fee and some are free to do so but don't you worry, when you withdraw that from any platform, it's not going to cost you that much.
But the problem today is that the mempool is quite clogged and expect a couple of bucks could be the calculation for the transfer fees.
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 04, 2023, 01:10:49 PM
Everyone just saw the expectation that we've set for ourselves. Both teams are good just as expected and this is where one of them is going to end.
Well, here goes the 4-3 predictions that I'm seeing on them and we'll know it soon. But we're sure that GSW won't just let this end favoring the Lakers.
And within the next few minutes, we'll see if Celtics will take their first win or if Philly is going to take their 2nd win.

With what happened in Game 1, I think the Warriors need to win Game 2 and at least one game in Games 3 and 4. The Lakers are hyped now, and people are thinking that they will win the series and possibly end the defending champion with a 4-0 or 4-1 record. However, this is just Game 1, and anything can happen, just like what happened in the Celtics vs 76ers Game 2, where the Celtics bounced back strong and dominated the 76ers.
There could be some of those that they'll win for sure. But they'll come back stronger and that's gonna be a thing for them.
As for the Celtics, there's a huge disparity and gap with their lead against Philly, congrats to them.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sui - $45 to $2000| Are you Among The Lucky Ones!!! on: May 04, 2023, 11:26:30 AM
Where do you guys see this type of project? So, those that have got this token were just active in their community and did some tasks? No airdrops, right?

I was unlucky because I couldn't invest there. Maybe it wasn't my good day. There are friends of mine who have been lucky they have had the chance to get SUI. How lucky they are. They say that they have made enough profit for now. Maybe I will get the opportunity and luck next time.  Embarrassed Embarrassed
I'm also afraid to invest and that's why I didn't even if I'm already seeing it that many are interested on it. But basically, those people that have been hyping it knows that this could just like a fly by night project and that's why I just ignored it.
1932  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 04, 2023, 10:10:59 AM

1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 03, 2023, 11:50:34 PM
Yes, the Lakers stole one game on the road, and they are very hyped up right now. However, I wouldn't join in on the hype because it's just one game. The Warriors could still come back with good adjustments
It's okay that you won't join the hype and bandwagon as this is normal whenever rivals are playing and this isn't the finals game. We've got all our favorite teams and we expect more for our supporting team to come back which is the GSW. That shot of Poole has made rounds and it's funny that everyone is certainly feeling bad about that shot. If everyone's feeling bad on it, how much more Poole and the entirety of Golden State Warriors.
Lakers in game 1 against warrior this season is so good and very accurate as well know that they have a good teamwork in order to beat warriors in their first meet in semifinals in this season. But it just a 1 game ahead so there's a chance for warriors that they will bring their best the game two and in upcoming matchup. We all know that warriors is a very strong team and even the series are 2-0. There's a chance that they can get up and with until the game 7 but Anyways congratulations for the  winners who bet Lakers in game 1.
1935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: May 03, 2023, 11:01:13 PM
The best time to invest for him was when he was employed and getting salary every month. At that time, if some part of the salary was invested every month, then maybe the money gained from the investment along with the pension money would have been useful in his later life. But I think it is better not to invest the pension money.
I think that's what he did and thus, he's got a pension fund. But it's too late to discuss that when it's all about his younger days and when he should invest.
Well, people who have gotten old and didn't invest a lot during their younger days could have a lot of reasons that we will never know but then, it's good to see old people thinking that they should invest with bitcoin even with their pension funds. They need to understand the risk that it has and it's not just an overtime profits for them because of the risk, there's also a bigger chance that they might just lose it.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SUI Wave Ended, What next? on: May 03, 2023, 06:57:05 PM
So SUI Ended, got decent 1900$ from it. Sold.
That is what I'm saying for those that have been making money with these new launches. If you're making money as of the moment from that project you've invested in, don't hesitate to take profit.

Now next what will be the hype? For me I think layerzero. What you guys think?
Layer 0, Layer 1, Layer 2, AI, there are many of them and we'll never know what's going to be the next. It will base on the market reaction with these projects if the community have seen some successes from the first ones.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: May 03, 2023, 05:47:48 PM
True and even though it has the risk of losing money but the decision was not made haphazardly,
by deciding to invest in the long term, of course we make decisions by considering many things,
Long-term has proven to be one of the best despite being the slowest but it's also going to depend on the choice you've got. You're long term but if the coin you're holding is wrong, that's nonsense and useless.

There will always be risks and they cannot be completely avoided.
And from there, we're all learning and those heartbreaks that we get from those risks if they're unsuccessful is fine. But the lesson that it gives back is more than what we need to learn after this market.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE VIEW OF SOME PEOPLE OVER BITCOIN on: May 03, 2023, 04:49:04 PM
Some people don't see Bitcoin as a normal currency and think it's too risky because its value can change a lot. They also worry that it's used by criminals for illegal activities like money laundering. However, other people think Bitcoin is amazing because it's different from traditional currencies and could change how we use money. Nobody knows for sure what will happen to Bitcoin in the future, but people are still talking about it and interested in it.
Those were old thoughts about Bitcoin, which won't change easily at these times. But what's good is that many understand the better side of Bitcoin and those old thoughts are starting to be gone. These views will not change over time until they've realized that many people are already invested in it and they can't stop it. Eventually, they'll all be changed and we don't need to worry about it. Let those people that keep on worrying about it, worry. While us, there's nothing to worry about as we all know what bitcoin really is.

Why does a reputable media like CoinTelegraph call meme cryptos ‘stocks’? Is Dogecoin or Shiba Inu a stock? Of course not. Even security tokens and equity tokens can’t be called that.
That's just for their readers for them to easier to understand. It's easier for them to relay to their audiences if they'll just call it meme stocks, instead of meme cryptos. But I do get the point and they should call it as is because that's what should be called.
Other than that, I'm thinking that it's just all about these jargon words that they're avoiding for their readers to get some attention and can easily relate to what they're telling and specifying about the subject matter.
