1961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish market continues? on: May 10, 2022, 03:37:09 AM

half this year will also be the time for bulls and if not, we really still need halving for the market to start a bull run again. so much panic and we hit to lowest so if it's still going to plunge below $30K, send all you got including the coins in your cold wallet because we're going back to 2018 dive which prices could be less than $20K, worse 10k.

1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance joins funding for Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter on: May 09, 2022, 09:25:13 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if there are any paid functions related to bnb.
Having small shares still meant nothing and the decision will always come from the party that has owned the majority of shares in the market. I think that you know this so well. When elon acquired all of shares of twitter and the decision is on his hand whether the twitter wanna try to accept the crypto currency or not. Being paid to be used is a very bad thing for the social media like twitter. This will make people retire from using this platform.

retiring from using twitter is like punishing yourself. it's where everyone is in having voice. i think Elon is more democratic though unlike the previous board that suspends a lot of accounts when it's voicing out an opinion against the politicians they don't support.

but understand also that Elon is an investor and speculator who looks at a profit in every direction. he will make money out of twitter. CZ and Elon are like the conquerors of our time.
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Bitcoin Stands during a Stagflation on: May 09, 2022, 07:51:32 AM
The issue I am seeing regarding inflation is this. Everybody is talking about the coming recession. However when you go out in public people are still spending money like crazy.

Gucci store is full, lululemon is packed, so is Apple store. Everyone is spending money, adding debt with rising interest even though they know there is going to be a recession sooner or later. Why is everybody being careless.

those who spend today are not aware of what is happening. buying gucci and other high price products means they're wealthy but inflation is already happening. Sri Lanka was affected the most. although we could blame them for the government's corruption, the country is really crumbling. somebody has to bail them out but every country today is also on the brink.

its real carelessness to spend money on unnecessary things these days but we are still betting on btc casinos Grin
1965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: May 09, 2022, 07:29:30 AM

there are speculations that price will dive $25k, can't be so sure about the bear market coming to an end. i will agree though that its time to buy BTC if you wanted to earn when prices moons again.

to those who have a lot of money to invest, they buy Bitcoin because they want to have more millions in their pocket. retail investors want to have thousands when the bull market comes that's why we should also buy BTC.
1966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Someone sent me $2000 woth bitcoin on: May 09, 2022, 07:13:38 AM

it's now a common scam. hundreds to thousands of people probably have received such email including me. if you don't remember you have an account on the platform they were saying, it's definitely a scam.

it did made me smile when an email was sent to me of course i was interested but paying to confirm a transaction is not how Bitcoin works. the sender is not so bold but considering thousands of people sending him $110, that's a load of scam money.
1967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies: Stay away and avoid all bounties! on: May 09, 2022, 07:05:32 AM

it was worth it back in 2017 but today is just not going to make you money anymore. the teams making these tokens will have to spend a lot of money probably more than they could get from the funds they get to enlist the token to an exchange. while you will have a ton of tokens rewarded to you, you may not be able to trade them.

it's time to ask the teams for BTC as payment, not thier tokens. time to demand BTC from them or no exposure.  Grin
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 08, 2022, 03:55:46 PM

somehow online cockfighting is now known to be a good business for them. the PH government may not be able to stop this if they go underground and set up an arena for online fights again under different URLs or .onion it might be another learning curve but the determination of the enthusiast is not going to be easy to break off.

there are still lots of people buying and selling roosters on facebook like they have some backup plan to continue thier addiction.
1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AN INTERESTING WAY TO INTRODUCE BITCOIN LEARNING TO OUR FUTURE GENERATION on: May 08, 2022, 03:36:22 PM

learning to value the money handed to them as they study from grade school to high school. economics will be a good subject for them to learn first.

as much as possible i want my kid to also learn BTC, but i wouldn't want him to be financially independent right when he is still a kid because this will have an impact on them. kids today are very different than the ones from the 90s. today kids are more rebellious.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 08, 2022, 07:18:55 AM

^^ Indeed, what a performance from Bivol, Canelo has a difficulty penetrating Bivol's high guard defense and then Bivol's 1-2 is hitting Canelo.

And whatever Canelo try to rally and somewhat winning the round, Bivol will make a comeback jab, straight, straight. I guess Canelo was exposed here, and probably 175 lbs is too big for him.

With his loss to this weight division, he may go back to super middleweight. And now, time to face GGG again. Will this loss affect the odds as well as purse split if in case Canelo vs GGG will happen this year? GGG came out as winner over Murata.

But on the other hand, with Bivol's win, he may be seeing better purse split for his next fight. We have seen the gap of purse split between Canelo and Bivol. This is the consolation of Canelo for this fight, getting much higher paycheck even if he lost this match.

gg vs canelo will be more accurate, it's an unfinished business.

canelo was surprised how quickly bivol can reach him with a combo. congratulation to the winners. definitely, bivol gave his best. impressive performance though there is no knockout but almost saw what i expect the fight to be. i was rooting for a KO, didn't happen. a loss still.

1971  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: May 08, 2022, 06:47:12 AM
Does any anyone actually bother to watch Joe Biden?
He is a senile, old, cowardly Bitch.
How is this idiot in charge of anything at all with his Hoe-ass?

Joe Biden is in the presidency for more than a year now but his over performance is very disappointing. His approval rate is contacntly falling from 56% to 42% becuase Inflation is rising, fuel prices are skyrocketing,  stock market is down though covid-19 pandemic is under control and unemployment rate has come down. On foreign policy front he failed to deter President putin to send troops in Ukraine and his econmic sanctions on russia after the invasion failed to produce and tangible results to stop war.

Biden likes war so you can expect the war to continue despite the sanction backfiring on all countries around the globe where gas prices rocketed way more than ever. Trump didn't commit horrible mistakes like Joe but all media was against him. Today even though CNN is now telling us that Hunter's laptop is real, nothing is ever done where people rally to bring Joe down.

1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's participation into cryptospace - Increased? on: May 08, 2022, 06:21:34 AM
NFTs attract a lot of audiences including women. they have Black Women Blockchain Council!

women always look up admire to women who can do things that men do in the finance industry. Bitcoin in the long run can solve financial freedom and security for families.
with financial freedom, they'd be independent and will have a voice and power and they may even have the guts to file a divorce from thier abusive husband.  Grin
1973  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We Should also Pray For Them. on: May 07, 2022, 03:43:56 PM
...
... Our prayers are so weak.

Cool

So true Bud!
Case in point,....when I say a prayer for red to come up on the roulette wheel, so I can win my bet, it only works 47.4% of the time. What a rip off!!!
I think that our holy father should at least bump it up to  50%, so one has a fighting chance.
I mean, come on now.... is that to much to ask from an almighty, omnipotent, invisible sky daddy dude??

The point, of course, being that we are focusing on winning the game, and not on talking to God.

"Praying" is simply what we say when we are talking about communication with God. Communicating with God, since we don't see Him or hear Him physically, is similar to imagining that He exists and hears our requests when we pray. Now, if only we could take it out of the "imagining" status, and bring it into the reality status. Then our prayers could be effective. After all, being God He hears us even though He isn't visible to us.

God wants our sincere hearts when we pray, not only the imagining that we are sincere. Almost the only way to get into a sincere reality about the existence of God is to fill ourselves on His Word, the Bible, daily. Both reading an actual Bible, and listening to Bible tapes and CDs are good ways to fill on His Word. His reality will express itself if this is done.

Matthew 7:7:
7“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

There is a lot to those words of Jesus... much in the last part. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. What this means is, give to others, or let them have what they take from you, because all you have to do is "Ask" (pray) and everything that you need will be given to you from our Father in Heaven.
Cool

easy for god to say that since he is not here anymore. can Palentine take what they want from a country whose focus is making every citizen part of their infantry?
hard to find god in a place where bombs explode at any time.

even if they go ally with countries like Russia or China, they'd be hated more for it. there will come a time for Palestine to rise, they may also retaliate against the people of Israel and the world will pray for Israel.
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: May 07, 2022, 03:15:14 PM

doge can't be the new BTC. there are more shitcoins out there with the bigger community than doge's.

investors are still bullish on doge despite how discouraging the price had dip, $0.12 is very low.
it should have gone down close to $0.05 if they are to give everyone the chance to hold some doge for its adoption. but speculators will have to buy at a higher price than $0.12 if this suddenly pumps while stores today might change thier minds to doge once Elon adopts it on Twitter.
1975  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anti-vaxxers now drinking their own urine on: May 07, 2022, 02:32:27 PM
...
That's why vaccinated people have a lower death rate and lower hospital admission rate?

Partly because it is a bad career move for 'medical professionals' to produce data which 'causes vaccine hesitancy'.  Bogus data gets framed in misleading ways (as you are doing here.)  Also, one can die from getting 'bitten by a cow' because there is a medical code for it unlike being killed by the experimental gene therapy injection.

...
That's why surgeons who have been wearing masks for hours a day for years all die from microplastic induced lung disease. Oh no wait.

Interestingly, we know some pre-scamdemic science about masks due to studies pushed for by surgeons who where sick of the anti-science nonsense around some of the procedures.

Somehow the scamdemic designers convinced the idiot classes that surgeons wear masks to keep from getting respiratory viral infections from the guy on the operating table or vice-versa.  I guess I really shouldn't have been surprised that it was so easy to do this.  Hell, even a good number of doctors and nurses probably now believe this as well such seems to be their lack of understanding of science and medicine.

the medical people know how disgusted we are when saliva comes out of a person while talking. you don't want any of it landing on your face.

many are misinformed and assumes when saliva lands on your skin can be the cause of contamination to covid, they advise all at least to protect from the contagious virus. but drinking urine is too extreme. there is also a community in India that applies cow dung all over their body to protect themselves from covid.

1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 07, 2022, 01:36:44 PM
I have just learned right now that Dmitry Bivol is not allowed to carry the Russian flag in this match. I will now conclude that even singing their national anthem won't be allowed and everything that a boxer does in the ring represents their respective country.

Is this a form of unsportsmanship? I thought that was already settled since no sanctions were put on this match and the original title match remained.
Bivol has no choice then. Feel sorry for him but he should consider that as his fuel to fight aggressively with Canelo.

reasonable or not, it's discouraging for Bivol. no matter where the discussion will go, it always lead to Putin being bad and he is thier president.

that's how we become very discriminating that even in sports events, the organizers are preventing the athlete to be proud of thier nationality. because Bivol agrees to it, he must have understood how it will outburst emotions if he wins this fight. it's best that way or he'd not get a chance to make money in his career.

1978  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 06, 2022, 05:15:46 PM

if there is just no mortgage to pay many of the people in my country may have a considerable living standard. there isn't a job that could sustain someone to provide for his family because mostly today employees are under 6 months contracts and they need to find another job after it. the call center jobs in my country somehow can sustain there are lots of these jobs are outsourced in my country.

if government/politicians just prioritized food security by not turning the farmlands and rice fields into housing development, we may have lower prices for food. my country doesn't experience winter, we could really keep the supply coming without interruption.

1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 06, 2022, 03:54:52 PM
^^ Yeah, it's hard to read the body language of a fighter if he is intimidated or not. But this is boxing, so for sure you have to think that you want to take the head of your opponent during stare downs,  Grin

But just like the rest who voted in this poll, Bivol is the underdog and it seems boxing fans are not giving him the chance to topple the king yet.

Does the face off matter whether who is intimidated?

I think so, a little. Final weigh-ins are normally done one day before the fight. So if you could effectively intimidate or even affect the mind of your opponent on that day, your opponent could not easily adjust anymore because it is going to be the fight day the next day. If you successfully get into the mind of your opponent at weigh-in, that might cause him a little trouble, perhaps in his sleep or whatever, that could affect him the following day.

I doubt that, they are professional and before they accept the fight, they know already what their opponent can do. The real battle is in the ring, and both boxers believe that they can win, but like any other competition, it's the better player that will win.
I definitely agree, both have something big to lose here and accepting the fight means that they already know the capabilities. As I saw their final presscon few hours ago, I can say that there will be no mind games on their face-off or any intimidation while trying to get in each other's head and actually they are being respectful to one another, that only shows how professional these two boxers are. I'm quite surprised though that Dmitry Bivol knows how to speak English, haven't expected that.

Bivol is a champ in many boxing championships in which he'd been training in the US for a long time. he must have learned well including English. this is not the kind of boxer that hasn't faced intimidating boxers. pulling an upset might be difficult for him to achieve as he is facing Canelo. but i would be happy to get my winnings Smiley

its just small amount actually but whoever wins, i will enjoy the rumble.

1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs SOL vs AVAX vs MATIC on: May 06, 2022, 08:34:53 AM

SOL recently bogged down with just simple traffic on their network. i'm not very aware of its issue but according to people in the chat community, it's because of NFT. this may cause investors to get out of SOL. but what we see if prices are compared its Matic that is not very promising.

is OP only considering staking on Kraken?  MATIC i think can be staked on binance.
