It's worth mentioning that VanitySearch is faster than vanitygen up to several times at finding private keys to vanity addresses: On my Intel Core i7-4770, VanitySearch runs ~4 times faster than vanitygen64. (1.32 Mkey/s -> 5.27 MK/s)
On my GeForce GTX 645, VanitySearch runs ~1.5 times faster than oclvanitygen. (9.26 Mkey/s -> 14.548 MK/s)
If you want to compare VanitySearch and Vanitygen result, use the -u option for searching uncompressed address.
VanitySearch may not compute a good gridsize for your GPU, so make several tries using -g options in order to find best performances.
Using compressed addresses is roughly 20% faster.

They can't sell because they are uninformed thinking there's only one place they can sell their coins at, and with the cost of KYC it might not be worth it to service transactions below a certain (increasingly higher) threshold.

That message left at the bottom of the site (YOU ARE NOT ANONYMOUS) seems almost a sort of threat. They must clearly say what they are going to do with the data or if they intend to prosecute all the users who have used it. Privacy is still a right or am I wrong?
They'll do as they like. They're probably working closely with blockchain analysis companies or using their products, those who can be de-anonymized and found to have participated in illicit activities can expect visits and letters from cops. These days even small-time users in Europe are getting visits from the police if they or the other party to the transaction weren't careful. P.S. No need to post the same post in three topics. |

That is an even bigger problem because if that is true one might ask himself where the re-sellers are getting their products from?
Resellers may have sourced their products from a legitimate source but all of that is for naught if Amazon decides to commingle the same product from different sellers to save money. I'd never take any chances with hardware wallets. |

Może zaczną się odbijać jak BTC będzie dalej spadać albo bokiem chodzić, jak bywało dawniej. Jest też możliwość, że podaż altcoinowych spekulantów mocno zmalała po tym jak BTC stracił 85% od ATH, altcoiny często po >95%.

Gdyby to była jedna giełda to można obwiniać gruby paluch, albo trefnego bota. Bardziej prawdopodobne jest skoordynowane działanie. Może sobie policzyli, że to im się jednak bardziej opłaci jak piszesz. Choć nie wiemy też czy/w jakim stopniu i które giełdy dzielą orderbooki.
Flash crash trwał 10 minut, a nie 10 sekund, więc jeden wieloryb w takim dużym zakresie cenowym (~$13.8k → 12.5k) by nie zdążył w tak długim okresie czasowym, bo zaraz dołączają boty.

Well, they probably wanted to get the service out ASAP w/ a MVP, and didn't consider the design to be THAT important.
A lot of times, when these shops make spin-off services like this, a lot of the care goes out the window.

TBH, I may be wrong, but it's probably a situation where the guys at https://arbitraging.co/ sent an email to the McAfee team saying they would run/setup everything, give him 50% and just wanted his name. I wouldn't touch this. Why didn't they put any effort into making mcafee's site more appealing? It's almost as if they're targeting the most gullible people to scam as opposed to offering a legitimate service  |

The ICO pump and dump craze for useless projects is over as the supply of gullible people is diminishing it's less likely that we'll be seeing altcoins and tokens pump as much as in 2017.
There's a possibility some money will move into altcoins if there's a serious correction in BTC price like it used to happen in the past, but I'm not so sure about that now.

Do you see people like Vitalik or Roger Ver being kidnapped or attacked? No you don't, stop being so paranoid, that is no way to live life.
Not everyone who's rich is a famous person. You also don't know about the precautions (if any) Vitalik or Ver are taking. They're also famous enough that it wouldn't be a smart idea trying to kidnap them as more resources would likely be devoted to find someone known. |

Unless they are official re-sellers I would not trust them.
Even if they're official resellers, Amazon has or used to have a problem where even if you bought a product from an official re-seller, you can receive a counterfeit product. |
