2001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Importance of Keeping Track of Your Cryptocurrency on: March 27, 2019, 02:57:24 PM
I never leave my assets on an exchange except when purchasing or selling and putting up orders (which I only do one at a time) so I do not really need to track them. Just need a portfolio app to monitor their prices and exchanges traded on.
I do not think you understand what the OP is trying to say. For one what you are using now a, portfolio app, is also called a cryptocurrency tracker a tracker is also the one who helps you manage your assets whether you are holding it in an exchange or in a wallet. And also to make my point clear you don't need you cryptocurrency inside an exchange in order to manage your cryptocurrency. You might have misunderstood what OP is saying and mistakenly think of it as some kind of cryptocurrency recovery (tracker) tool if they are stolen.
2002  Economy / Economics / Re: Still no threat detected, Apple Card on: March 26, 2019, 08:21:41 PM
Apple Card = Credit
Bitcoin = Currency

Why would they even think that a mobile credit card will be competing against Bitcoin who already has a monetary value it's like saying fiat currency will be dead because already have credit cards existing now which isn't even the case. Another thing that makes this rumor dumb is not even half of the world owns an Iphone and not even all of them even has access to the wallet payment service, Apple Pay, they previously have. To top it all there is really nothing innovational on what they did its just that this Apple loyalists thinks that everytime Apple releases something they think that its "out of the world" and unique.
2003  Other / Meta / Re: A BUMPING SERVICE EXAMPLE: How long are we going to look the other way? on: March 26, 2019, 07:26:11 PM
If these kinds of services are already prevalent even outside of the forum the only way to mitigate it is either making the ANN section heavily moderated or having some kind of limits within their thread. If we want to stop this lucrative business we must make it weak and useless for the ICO developers and in order to do that we need to make their service ineffective in the forum. Hopefully pretty soon afterwards we would be seeing less and less of this services being offered online.
2004  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Club for Newbies on: March 26, 2019, 04:21:57 PM
This will be a hit or miss depending on what cryptocurrency you are sending to your clientsn if its just full loads of shitcoin then users might feel like you are just offloading your losses but if you are giving away cryptocurrencies that are relevant and stays close to what they paid for then users might actually like it. Another thing to consider is put in a guide on why you included that crypto in the lootbox (e.g. is it for investing is it for buying?) So that they know what's the best thing they can do with that cryptocurrency.
2005  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-26] Bitcoin is Nothing More Than ‘Bovine Excrement’ on: March 26, 2019, 11:24:42 AM
It is the first time I ever read an article about Bitcoin replacing the word “bullshit” as bovine excrement I thought they have censored the word to punch us with some cold hard truths but at the end it is one of those articles that doesn't really add something new because it just gives back an old opinion being recycled again and again. It is 2019 and they are still using arguments that “BTC does not act as a currency” or “its only useful for criminal purposes" both of which has been disproven before yet they still say it as if people hadn't heard it before.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2019, 07:41:51 PM
There are rumors saying that A.C. Milan is highly interested in acquiring Moise Kean from Juventus, thats if he refuses to renew his contract Juve will make him available for sale. I myself personally think that this will be a bad move for Milan. The already consist of a lot of young players and they still also have Patrick Cutrone which is already having trouble finding pkay time woth Piatek. If they want to be relevant in the European football competition they should be focused on signing veterans instead.
2007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BINCOINS - FAKE MEMBER on: March 25, 2019, 06:28:04 PM
6. Finally, we asking you to stop stalking team members. They are just doing their jobs and dont have to face all this hate from forum members for no reason.
I wouldn't call what we are doing as stalking as we are only using files and photos what you and the past scam ICOs have provided. If we are stalking someone we would be doing physical surveilance or monitoring to the individuals personally. Lastly what we are doing is not hate, as an investor and DT member here in the forum we don't want any scams going pass us so if you don't like our methods of investigation you can do your business elsewhere.
2008  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BINCOINS - FAKE MEMBER on: March 24, 2019, 08:36:50 PM
Looks like the two Deinas are the only real persons working on this scam, their names are coming out on a lot of scam ICOs. They are also the ones who are part of the team that have actual photos regarding the project. It seems like the real photos they are just showing is just a front to make investors believe that they are a legit project. I think that someone needs to report this two to the authorities to be properly investigated, because as of now we really don't have anything aside from them being associated with a lot of scams.

2009  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mark Karpelès : Bitcoin Embezzlement Verdict on Friday on: March 24, 2019, 07:40:54 PM
~snip~

It don't matter what we think or what he did and didn't do. The verdict is in and that's pretty much it. I've never really understood the lenience that large scale fraud attracts in terms of penalties but it's the way of the world.

There may be future wallopings from other jurisdictions coming his way. Gox touched many parts of the world.
I just got carried away that another white collared criminal got away from jail, the way I see it is that the judicial system has a different view from business crimes compared to violent crimes that face the maximum punishment. It works as if its like they have unlimited warnings from the punishments and penalties they received. The suspended four years he received was only like a probationary period in which he needs to stay clean and after that he can do whatever the hell he wants, its like they given him time to plan and prepare his next big move.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: March 24, 2019, 07:04:09 PM
So my question is why aren't there any website that could host a MOBA betting for amateurs were they could bet and they could earn from their own skill.
Who know's maybe because of it they would be a well known player and become a professional.
Probably because the amount of game/match fixing involved in the Esports community is so prevalent that even professional players are involved in such scandals. Unlike real sports where you can see the obvious the only way to prove the game is fixed is through leaked convos about the deal or a really dumb way to throw the game. Other than that a website cannot really establish a proper betting match online as there is no way of proving that the players you actually betted against are the ones really playing your match. That is why Esports games are held publicly which you see both teams fighting face to face.
2011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double check your Bitcoin address before click on send button. on: March 24, 2019, 05:54:38 PM
Another thing that I have notice is that the scam wallet address for most copy/paste victims are no way even similar to the wallet addresses they intended to send the Bitcoins in or at best only the first three to four numbers/letters are correct which is not even an excuse to make a mistake in. This is really a dumb mistake to do for crypto users as it is an act of carelessness on their part, I mean even before this malware existed I always double check my address before I even proceed with my transaction.

For users who suspect they are infected with the copy/paste malware (aka the Clipboard Hijacker) this originated with the All-Radio 4.27 software so for people who are downloading some shady softwares online recently you should test out your pcs if you are copying the right address, if not you now know what to do as they are various guides online.
2012  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mark Karpelès : Bitcoin Embezzlement Verdict on Friday on: March 24, 2019, 12:39:59 PM
This is what I say is a slap in the wrist for such crime committed. If this was just a guy who rob a store and pointed a gun to someone he would likely face 15+ years in prison without even earning a dime on what he stole.

how is that a legit comparison? he was tried on embezzlement charges and found not guilty. he didn't steal anything. he bought an insolvent exchange which then got hacked again and became deeply insolvent, and he tried to cover it up. that's shitty but it's not comparable to armed robbery. it's not even in the same universe.
The Tokyo District Court may not have found him guilty on his embezzlement charge but don't you think falsifying data to mislead the public about the current position of Mt. Gox isn't enough to merit him a long term prison sentence? Armed robbery is just a small time crime compared to what he did. Mark Karpelès isn't even new to finding himself in trouble of the law again and again, he is not the type of man who you think has no experience on breaking any kind of law. He still got cases in the U.S. pending and during 2010 he was found guilty of fraud in France and he is lucky to be out of jail until now.
2013  Economy / Reputation / Re: Igor Karavaev - ICOBench Expert - is a Scammer on: March 24, 2019, 10:32:57 AM
~snip~

Actually this profile seems to be online but with nothing on timeline

https://www.facebook.com/igor.karavaev.9803
I may now know the problem, it seems like if you aren't logged in to your Facebook account you have no way to see if the account exist. At first I though that it was one of my browsers not working but after I logged in to FB I was able to view the account. But after visiting his profile my point still stands that this is an impersonator and he just tried to scam the OP. His FB  profile literally has no track whatsoever of him working in ICOBench, no posts in his timeline, no friends to show, and all of his pictures are uploaded from the same day which only means that this account is just newly created.
2014  Economy / Economics / Re: The prevailing market condition a blessing? on: March 23, 2019, 09:57:01 PM
So can we say that the bearish market drives adoption of Cryptocurrency?
Adoption? As far as I know the bearish market had made crypto hodlers more frugal in terms of holding their coins rather than spending it compared to when it's prices are high. It didn't made establishments accept Bitcoin into their stores as a lot of them had pulled out BTC as a mode of payment as soon as the downward trend started. Don't be mistaken by the opportunity hodlers have now in the market for adoption as that is really not the case I am seeing right now, they bought it to hodl not to use as a payment in the near future.
2015  Economy / Reputation / Re: Igor Karavaev - ICOBench Expert - is a Scammer on: March 23, 2019, 08:51:04 PM
I am pretty sure it's him. This is his Facebook profile link that sent the message: https://www.facebook.com/igor.karavaev.9803
And as you can see from the screenshots, his first message was in January which was not responded to. I got onboard as SMM last week and started responding to all messages including his. Then, he replied with the ransom demand today. If it's someone impersonating him, that means they've been sitting on this impersonating account for close to 3 months doing nothing? I doubt it. An impersonator would have reached out to other ICOs and most likely would have been outted.

The Facebook account is already either deactivated or removed which only means that the person trying to extort you is already in the wind. Even if ICOBench is a shady website I doubt that the real Igor Karavaev will be messaging one by one ICO devs to be extorted by him, usually it's the either way around in which scammy ICOs will be the one contacting ICOBench to inflate up the ratings since they do have what they call "premium listings" in their website in exchange for BTC. The most probable thing that happened is an impersonator tried to scam you and thought that you will bite his scam.
2016  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-21]IBM Joins Two Major U.S. Banks to Issue their Own Crypto on: March 23, 2019, 08:02:27 PM
These banking institutions are still waiting for legal approvals from concerned regulators and they include South Korean-based Busan Bank, Philippines-based Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) and are anticipated to have finished issuing a stablecoin in Q2 of 2019.

So South Korea and the Philippines and at least four other countries will all have a stable coin of its own by Q2 2019 at the earliest, did I read the news correctly or am I missing something? Because I am just surprised that another one of the domestic bank here besides UnionBank in the Philippines is involved in this process, the Philippines might be having some internal competition since UnionBank has been the first one to support cryptocurrencies in the country by having their own Blockchain based banking system which is connected to their users' bank accounts. RCBC bringing a Philippine Peso based stable coin might just make them catch up or even overtake UnionBank in the crypto industry.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Compilation of Top Bitcoin Casinos for 2019 (US Friendly Crypto Gambling) on: March 22, 2019, 03:36:02 AM
So why didn't you include FortuneJack in the top Fice Sites in your list? FJ also has a dice game besides the casino games it has in its website. Something tells me that you really didn't took your time on creating this list and just created it for the purposes of providing your referral link for the websites, you didn't even provide any kind of review om why it is included in your list.
2018  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Litebeam - SCAM - FAKE TEAM - Stealing people's identity on: March 21, 2019, 08:41:40 PM
Yes we saw that disclaimer "PSEUDONYMOUS" on their website, but it doesnt justify a reason to STEAL people's identity - which is a crime.
Here is the profile of one of the victims, you can see his real name, etc. He is not one of those stock photos that can be used without the owner's consent. https://www.linkedin.com/in/stenehall/
It really doesn't justify anything as far as the law is concerned what they did is inexcusable "pseudonymous" isn't even the right word to justify it.  mean they faked the whole identity not only the name but also the picture of the members (if they really do have one). Being pseudonymous only means using a pretentious name and it doesn't mean you can use another person's picture to do so. What they did simply belongs under the lines of identity fraud.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: March 21, 2019, 07:39:58 PM
Good news for Juventus and fan of Cristiano as Ronaldo isn’t banned for the misbehavior of Juve vs Atletico match. But Ronaldo is fined of 20,000£ for showing unnecessary sign Against on Atletico match. So, Ronaldo will be available against Ajax for Juventus. It will be a great competition Between Ajax and Juve.I can't wait for 10th April.

As it should be. His gesture wasn't very nice but I don't find it offensive. I believe it was meant as a way to show Simeone who is the best and has biggest ..... This should be seen as a part of football folklore and it seems UEFA has come to same decision. 20,000 is not the amount that will impact Ronaldo and they showed that they don't approve such behavior.

Did Cholo get same fine or? Don't feel like googling at the moment.
I don't see how Ajax would win this round against Juventus, they aren't like Real Madrid who would easily give up and don't try their best until the end. Ajax is a group of young players that would face veterans like Bonucci, Chiellini, Pjanic and of course Ronaldo himself. And them being in a lot of Champions league appearance they have a lot os experience in this competition unlike Ajax who couldn't even manage to stay on top on top of their league.
2020  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Litebeam - SCAM - FAKE TEAM - Stealing people's identity on: March 21, 2019, 06:47:58 PM
Does this community know what pseudonymous means?? It clearly states "pseudonymous" on website. Our identities were obfuscated to protect our employment situation. We didn't want to extract value by name dropping XYZ tech company. There was a personal relationship between team member and name and/or photo.

Please judge project based on merit. But it seems like everyone here is just money hungry looking for a quick buck. If you are actually interested in adoption and having some fun sharing ideas along the way, come to our discord! removed
It looks like to me that they use one of those generic excuses scammers used when they got caught faking their team members. This is their response on why they are using fake identities in their ICO project. They also had used Satoshi Nakamoto's anonymity the same as what they are doing with their project now. If they are really a real ICO they shouldn't have done this bullshit but instead made their team really anonymous without faking any of their identity, their reasoning on why they done it is what merited them a negative trust from me as its a flawed reasoning done by a real scammer.
